Pepe's Piri Piri in Bedford

Right, there's always aggro in here with the locals. It's as if the lovely chicken on sale hypnotises them to have a row...or maybe it's the location being on the edge of the shadiest road in Bedfird, who knows. Either way, the chicken is decent, the food is nice, it doesn't leave you feeling like your guts are being pulled out of your soul the morning after. Half decent for food, top notch for end of night food.

Wow, amazing customer service from Harleen and Neha the way they welcome me and my son it made me feel so special. So we be coming back and back back. So thank you again to Neha and Harleen.

I ordered a chicken and rice box and I even left a note when ordering it to make it “extra saucy” I opened the chicken and rice box up, ate the chicken and the rice was dryer than the Sahara dessert, the rice is so dry it’s un eatable, I even left a note for them to make it extra saucy

Without a doubt the worst pepes in England

I heard some drivers are doing strike and some are banned from pepes so need to wait longer for food.

Ordered via Ubereats, sent the wrong order then said they can't re-deliver it we have to collect and can get a free side. Absolutely ridiculous the point if ordering a delivery is because you don't want to go out and get food! Won't be ordering again.

3 chicken strips were missed off of the order

Both times I have ordered from here my food has been late, the first time was 3 hours after the delivery time. The second time I ordered after waiting for my food to actually arrive I had received the wrong food and when I called the restaurant about this I got told, “No that’s impossible.”

The order delivery was delayed and when the food came it's smelled off and couldn't pin the smell until I realised it was coming from the chicken in rice and chicken box, spent so much and couldn't even eat it

Chicken bag was all ripped open and leaked all over the food on my floor and all over my table wasn’t hot enough no gravy left as it leaked everywhere. All food was cold. I’ve taken a picture of what the bags looked like. It looks as if it was rushed to put in the bag. Chicken wasn’t spicy at all as I ordered. Wasn’t happy at all today we were let down

Chicken in the pittas were tiny fillets... didnt fill half of it, even the salad was so sparce and soggy from overload of mayo. Lastly bread was hard as nails. Wont be ordering again.

Gave us the wrong order, we wanted hot flavour, gave us mild and lemon and herb instead, as it was late, didn't bother in reporting it, but Pepe's always get the orders wrong, and no matter how many times you tell them that, they seem to dont care about it

Few minutes ago delivery person called me and said to me something not very clearly ( maybe it was something on the line or maybe the person talk to fast) .The only word I did understand was "delivery " I said to the person "one second I coming to you" When I went outside no one was there .I'm back inside the house for the phone and call the person. Unfortunately it's impossible contact delivery person.In next few min I received info my order was delivered. Unfortunately not to me.

So the driver turned up and got upset because he can’t find the address and started to insult me. I called the restaurant who refused to even apologise for what had taken place. The app shows my food was delivered when it wasn’t. They basically said it’s not our problem stay on hold for 10 mins will I get a manager. 3 people came and lied said they are managers only to tell me they are not I recorded the conversation and made them aware of this. None of them could even give there names.

Two items were missing from the order. My brother in law called the restaurant where they kept him on hold for 10 minutes to then call my phone. They said they were 100% they had sent the items but we did not receive and were basically accused of lieing.

I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience with Despite paying for a full meal, I received absolutely no food, and the handling of this situation by both the staff and management was extremely disappointing. Come home with out having dinner. Hoping to find a resolution, I escalated my complaint to management. Unfortunately, this only exacerbated my frustration. The manager I spoke with was not only unsympathetic but also condescending. Rather than addressing my concerns, they dismissed them outright and made me feel as though my issue was insignificant. What was particularly troubling was the manager’s apparent disregard for customer satisfaction. Their unwillingness to take responsibility or offer any meaningful assistance was indicative of a broader problem within the culture. This experience has left a lasting negative impression on me. It’s clear that significant issues with both their customer service and management practices. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and to have my concerns addressed promptly and effectively. Unfortunately, failed on both counts. I would strongly advise potential customers to reconsider before engaging with this company. There are many other businesses that value their customers and provide the level of service and respect that every customer deserves.

I asked for a fudge cake but it was out of stick you should of just refunded me then sending out a different cake which I don't eat at all

Was order diet Coke because of diabetic issue so next time careflully preper order

I ordered for chicknrice lemon n herb sauce around 1:40pm. I got my food in 10min. When I opened the box all the sauce got spilled on me and they kept tooo much L&H sauce on it literally chicken was swimming in the sauce. I went to girl who is on the till and she was telling usually we’ll keep that much, for me it was not the first tym ordering for chick n rice I usually order that. And she went inside and asked her chef he said it is common without even looking in to the food. And another girl came and she was telling u can order for spicy rice and mix in it. This is what they do they put extra sauce and make us order once more, the chicken was bit hard may b chef tried to cover that with extra sauce. If you want garlic sauce or ketchup also they will charge you 30p. Very bad customer service. I can share the image as well how chicken was floating

Terrible! I usually always order from pepes but this time the chicken was completely off it was disgusting. As soon as i opened the bag i could smell it and it got worse as i broke the wing in half and the full smell came out. Very disappointed with the level of service. Imagine what wouldve happened if i ate that.

took 1hour 25 minutes for a dry and thin chicken burger with chips and chicken and rice to arrive?cold chips and the guy who delivered it to the door had a cigarette in his hand,really!first time going here but definitely won't be going back,will be sticking with local from now on as this is shocking, stated a delivery time of 18:45 after ordering at 18:09 but arrives at 19:25,better food and I wouldn't mind the wait but that was the worst food I've had delivered in a few years
