Pepe's in Exeter

The restaurant wasn’t preparing my order it took them 2 hours the rider was too waiting

I ordered chick n rice meal with Hot flavor. But they sent extra hot flavor

I ordered my food at 6:05 with the expectation that I will receive my order by 6:40 (the estimated delivery time). I received my order at 7:30. What’s worse is my food came cold and I was fasting. Overall, this was a terrible experience.

Didn’t get all the things I ordered . didn’t expect this . This is the second time it’s happening

He didn’t deliver the drink that I ordered

when order came the bag was soaking wet from all the juices from the chicken and my kids meals were all soaking too so had to eat soggy chips and burger.the rice box was running with juices too and the chicken we had was a bit dry and not much flavour as everything was in bottom of main bag

To start, delicious, even though the wrap and chips were warm and not hot, it was still very yummy. The chicken wings were hot cause they were in a silver foil and was super yummy. (Why not wrap all the food in foil if you're going to use foil for the wings?). Chocolate browny not so tasty for me, straight into the bin. Overall, all was very tasty, just wish it was hotter. We ordered through the Just Eat App. Food was delayed by over an hour on the expected delivery time. If that wasn't bad enough, our food never turned up and was delivered to the wrong address, so we never got it. Called Pepes direct and they could not have been less helpful. Simply said we needed to call Just Eat but couldn't get through. There's a 4 digit code that you have to give the delivery driver when they deliver your food so I have no idea how they dropped it to the wrong address. Im now £33 down and have no food to show for it. Shocking service by Pepes and Just Eat. Avoid using this app at all costs and as for Pepes customer service - it was non existent.

Not delivered , tried to call the restaurant but no answer

Ordered online, went in online said ready,store wasn't busy and they took an extra 15mins, I think started cooking as soon as soon as I went in, been loyal customer for years, shocked at the service no apology, will not be purchasing again

I’ve never had an issue with Pepe’s piri piri Exeter. I’ve ordered more than 20x from them since they opened and the quality of food has never digressed from its promised quality. A comfort food on my good and bad days when I want to treat myself.

Advertising a chicken quesadilla and just sending a chicken wrap unwrapped not a quesadilla at all doesn't even look like the picture hardly any chicken on it, not worth 9 quid at all rip off merchants

rudest driver ever, knocked so aggressively and wouldn’t actually wait for me to get to the door - also came extremely late and now my food is cold

Completely wrong order given to myself for a different customer. Now have unhappy children as too spicy to eat. Poor service

The delivery driver phoned as couldn’t find the house and said he was outside. He was not. I phoned him back no answer then we seen him driving off on his bike and I shouted out the window I told him to come up the steps, he did not so I had to walk down he didn’t speak at all just asked for the number and then drove off. No apology or anything awful service

I wanted to love it, I still want to love it, but unfortunately I do not love it. 10/10 workers who are lovely and helpful however the food will leave you on the toilet regretting your spice tolerance. The food is cheap and tasty however quality could be better.

That has got to be the best cooked chicken we have ever had from a takeaway. I had a full chicken and it was perfectly cooked. My wife had the burrito and she said exactly the same. I have eaten so many different peri peri dishes, that is up there with the best. Thank you

That burger was one of the best eaten ,have had a few but that was amazing.

Chips and mozzarella sticks were cold. Chicken burger was not chicken breast, was a flat processed chicken cheap Iceland style burger that didn’t taste very good. Most went into the bin and wished I’d ordered KFC.

Wings were good but the chicken was not up to the mark.

The last two occasions we have been missing items from our order. It's a shame as the food is actually pretty good.

My experience with the customer service was quite disappointing. The staff checked my skin and provided treatment based solely on that evaluation. While the quality of the treatment itself was acceptable, the overall interaction left much to be desired. I felt that my concerns were not fully addressed, and the atmosphere was not welcoming. Because of this, I’ve decided not to return in the future.

If I could I would give it 10 stars, this place has saved my life 🍗🍋✌🏽🍗🍋❤️‍🔥

Me and my daughter love thier chicken burger. Very lovely place. Clean and tidy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Way better than KFC and McDonald's.

Delivery time kept changing. I ordered at 3:40 and we didnt recieve our food until just gone 6pm. I had already fed my kids something else. chicken was slightly pink, sorry to say it but i was really disappointed and upset by the service this evening. Think you lost a customer :(

Had a chicken burrito wrap, peri chips and a Fanta. Freshly made, hot and very tasty. Wasn't a long wait even though they were quite busy. All in all 5*.
