My first visit to Pepe’s was nothing short of disgraceful. From the moment I walked in, I felt judged, disrespected, and completely unwelcome. The man at the counter stared at me suspiciously, which immediately made me feel uncomfortable. I clearly told the woman at the till that I wanted to sit in, yet my food was shoved into takeaway bags without any cutlery. I had to ask for forks, and even then, I was met with a rude attitude and zero professionalism. When I asked for a box to put my chips in, I was spoken to as if I was being difficult — I had to explain myself more than once just to be understood. The overall behaviour from staff was appalling. Workers in the back were laughing and glancing at me and my friend for no reason at all — it felt humiliating. The woman at the till even laughed in my face when I politely asked for a fork. I’ve never been treated with such disrespect at any food establishment. This experience was beyond disappointing — it was outright insulting. For a first-time customer, this was a shocking display of poor service, unprofessional conduct, and a complete lack of basic respect. I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to think twice before spending their money here.

Amazing service. I asked them to send extra tissues they sent me extra fries as well.

Really good food and service. The chef upon request also added extra sauce and spices. Service was really good…. Even though the waiting time was 15-20mins we received it in about 10mins. Everything was fresh and warm. Really enjoyed it !

Slow, miserable and dirty looking staff. Slower than a week in jail and the place good do with a deep clean. I work for Uber so go often and can honestly say I wouldn’t eat here if you paid me.

i have wait more than 30 minutes as she told me then after she’s says its will take 10 to 15 minutes more so i tell them its ok after 10 minutes she says ohhh sorry i forgot about that so can you wait just for five minutes… really its totally disgusting experience ever specially in the branch.

I’ve visited Pepe’s twice now and both times have been incredibly frustrating. We ordered the Mega Deal, expecting everything to be delivered together, but the staff didn’t provide everything we ordered at once. Instead, they gave us some items first and made us wait for others. This delay in delivery was very inconvenient, and it felt like we were being forgotten about. It's disappointing when you’re paying for a full meal and don’t receive everything as expected. This is something I won’t be dealing with again. Very bad service, and I won’t be returning.

This pepe brings shame to the brand. It's in a corner that nobody will see, if I wanted to go to a corner shop I would visit an authentic Pakistani. I would be embarrassed bringing a friend here as their is no space to eat. All other branches treat their food like their baby and take care with it. Imagine you are about to have sex, you don't go straight into it like the pornos u have foreplay. The guys making the food don't treat it like their baby, instead they treat the store like its some poor worthless orphan. The special pepe sauce in other branches isn't as watery, I wonder what special ingredient they put in this store. Food took too long to make. I had been wating since 9/11. They got my friends order wrong and made him go delulu

I genuinely care about the Pepe’s brand, which is why I’m writing this review—something I don’t like to do, but feel is necessary. This location is a poor representation of Pepe’s nationwide, and I would be embarrassed to introduce a friend to the brand through this branch. It does not reflect the quality I’ve experienced at other locations across the UK. I gave it a second chance after a disappointing first visit, thinking it may have been an off day, but once again, the quality was severely lacking and did not live up to the Pepe’s name.

I accidentally placed an order for collection instead of delivery and immediately tried to contact the shop to cancel it. Unfortunately, they were completely unhelpful and refused to issue a refund. I ended up losing my money with no solution from their side. Very disappointed with the customer service—I expected better. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Pepe food is obviously nice butttttt the lack of customer service and understanding of taking an order is extremely weak especially over the telephone they keep hanging up when it comes to ordering more than one item and they keep passing the phone on to others to take the call but they don't have the knowledge to understand an order so rude by hanging up and then putting the phone off the hook terrible service get new staff

I ordered an extra hot half chicken grilled, and my husband ordered extra hot chicken and rice. We got extra hot but they put so much lemon and herb (which we didn't order) that it ruined our expectations. The rice of the chicken n rice was quite bland. The chicken was ok and nice, if u forget the lemon flavour. They put so much citric acid in the chicken which we didn't want in first place.

What a great place to eat in , especially the quesadillas are the best. And with a good service and fantastic staff they will be happy to serve.

I tried chicken and rice (hot flavor) with meal deal (piri piri fries). If I will say that they have the best rice in UK, it won't be wrong. I am not being biased but I am writing this after trying rice dishes at other places. For piri piri fries you have to pay £0.30 extra ,i recommend this place ,staff was very helpful.

There is a guy Gokul, he is so good at servicing, friendly with customers. By seeing his work what I understand is he is a hard working person with passion. Food is really good, I bought chicken rice and fries, everything is so good in quality and taste Thanks Gokul and team :)

Disappointed with the Service I recently visited Pepe’s Home Street and was extremely disappointed with the experience. While the food was decent, the staff’s behavior was unacceptable. They were rude, dismissive, and lacked basic manners. Simple questions were met with curt responses, and it felt like they were in a rush to get rid of us. Customer service should be a priority, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. I won’t be returning anytime soon and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting respectful or professional service.

Hello, usually I don't write negative reviews being a regular customer at pepes I have mentioned the last time as well that the quantity of small fries seems really less, she asked me to check the quantity when I was there , this time I ordered large fries she has given the quantity which is less than small fries and charged me 3.59 which is really not acceptable never had this experience it was the same girl at the till.

Stupid restaurant. Orders placed before closing, and the restaurant accepted the order. Waited for an hour and was suddenly told to cancel. If you don't want to do it, you can not take orders, if you don't want to make money, you can close the door, and if you occupy resources and delay the customer's mood, is it any good for you? It is recommended that the boss take a good look at what the clerks are doing, and care about the employees, whether the employees' homes are on fire and stolen. My words can't express my anger. My friend and I waited with anticipation and waited, only to be rewarded with irresponsible restaurants. Food was ok, but we had to wait for an hour for it because of the hurry and difficulty in the kitchen. We stood right next to the counter waiting but the employees didn't say anything until we asked about the orders. Not a very clean place, would recommend getting fast food from somewhere else.

I’ve been a regular customer for over a year, and I am not a complainer especially with food but today’s experience was terrible. My order was missing an ice cream, and when I contacted the restaurant, they told me to reorder next time to get it. The food I received smelled bad, so I went in person for a refund. They said I couldn’t have both a refund and food—they wouldn’t cook if I took the refund. Most of the staff walked away from the issue, except for one helpful girl. I left without food or a refund after spending £45, including the Uber. Completely disappointed, I won’t be returning. Please don’t run a place if you don’t know how to be nice to people I personally think customer is core in any business but you guys are sending people to sleep with no food great

I ordered from Deliveroo I called restaurant more then 18 times but no one bothered to pick up the phone ultimately I had to cancel the order because I wasn’t able to give allergen instruction I have ordered from pepes more then 100 times but this home st outlet is one of the worst they always mess up the order continuously my last 3 order have been messed up

I wish I didn’t have to leave this review, as I prefer to leave nice reviews. However, it’s been many occasions where the food is not good and the service is terrible. On top of that, it tends to get overcrowded with delivery people and they make them wait there forever. It “almost” seems like they are doing it in purpose to appear busier for people that walk by. Let’s be honest, the delivery drivers don’t earn much and if on top of that you waste their precious time just to look busy then shame on you. Yea, I’ve seen them make them wait for over 30 minutes whilst other people got served, I’ve never seen this happen in other takeaways/restaurants. Hope you stop doing this. If you do, I’m more than able to change my review! Many thanks 😊

My husband ordered from Pepe's today and the delivery driver lied that he delivered, but he did not, however they took the money and did not want to refund. Will never order from them avain.

**Absolutely Delicious Chicken at Pepe's** The chicken at Pepe's was absolutely delicious with a great taste—it's something you'll want to try again and again! We went there at midnight on the weekend, and despite the place being busy, the staff handled our order and requests very well. Definitely recommend

I love the atmosphere and ambiance. It's small when compared with other but well maintained and cleaning. Washroom are clean and tide. Coming to food except the rice items app are good. Especially their flavours wooow wooow. Lovely staff friendly and helpful. Food and ambiance are well Hygiene. They have separate kids menu. Menu wise options wise they can satisfy all ages.

Indian lady don’t have a clue how to give the right order

Once and never again. The waitress repeats his questions in the finest Indian English at machine gun speed like a robot. The toilet is in a more than unacceptable condition (e.g. it doesn't flush at all). The food, mild, was still spicy. So normal spicy would probably be inedible. My stomach rebelled. 🤢 We'll steer clear of this “restaurant” in the future.
