Pepe food is obviously nice butttttt the lack of customer service and understanding of taking an order is extremely week especially over the telephone they keep hanging up when it comes to ordering more than one item and they keep passing the phone on to others to take the call but they don't have the knowledge to understand an order so rude by hanging up and then putting the phone off the hook terrible service get new staff

The newly hired girl on the till was really rude doesn't even know how to serve customer.... food was good but service was really disappointing...

Food was ok, but we had to wait for an hour for it because of the hurry and difficulty in the kitchen. We stood right next to the counter waiting but the employees didn't say anything until we asked about the orders. Not a very clean place, would recommend getting fast food from somewhere else.

takeaway order had missing fries saying refund not permitted i dont want to comeback 30 min to collect fries while other food goes cold ruined my night there are so many of u in there, if u not sure whats inside eont staple the bag so people can check the order

I’ve been a regular customer for over a year, and I am not a complainer especially with food but today’s experience was terrible. My order was missing an ice cream, and when I contacted the restaurant, they told me to reorder next time to get it. The food I received smelled bad, so I went in person for a refund. They said I couldn’t have both a refund and food—they wouldn’t cook if I took the refund. Most of the staff walked away from the issue, except for one helpful girl. I left without food or a refund after spending £45, including the Uber. Completely disappointed, I won’t be returning. Please don’t run a place if you don’t know how to be nice to people I personally think customer is core in any business but you guys are sending people to sleep with no food great

nice place for chicken - little expensive though

I ordered from Deliveroo I called restaurant more then 18 times but no one bothered to pick up the phone ultimately I had to cancel the order because I wasn’t able to give allergen instruction I have ordered from pepes more then 100 times but this home st outlet is one of the worst they always mess up the order continuously my last 3 order have been messed up

I wish I didn’t have to leave this review, as I prefer to leave nice reviews. However, it’s been many occasions where the food is not good and the service is terrible. On top of that, it tends to get overcrowded with delivery people and they make them wait there forever. It “almost” seems like they are doing it in purpose to appear busier for people that walk by. Let’s be honest, the delivery drivers don’t earn much and if on top of that you waste their precious time just to look busy then shame on you. Yea, I’ve seen them make them wait for over 30 minutes whilst other people got served, I’ve never seen this happen in other takeaways/restaurants. Hope you stop doing this. If you do, I’m more than able to change my review! Many thanks 😊

My husband ordered from Pepe's today and the delivery driver lied that he delivered, but he did not, however they took the money and did not want to refund. Will never order from them avain.

Oh my god I had enjoyed a lot really what a service and the person especially in the front side at the counter interacting with the customers in a professional way Really I am so happy and he explained all the types of flavours whatever you are offering to the customers It’s a great experience Lastly I want to give 25 ££ pounds tip to him but there is no enough money with me

**Absolutely Delicious Chicken at Pepe's** The chicken at Pepe's was absolutely delicious with a great taste—it's something you'll want to try again and again! We went there at midnight on the weekend, and despite the place being busy, the staff handled our order and requests very well. Definitely recommend

Tried to cancel my food seconds after ordering coz I realised I didn’t have time, and said if I cancelled I wouldn’t get my refund. Then when it arrived there was hair in my wings . I still ate the other wings , and was very good food either way. Just ashamed it happened coz it’s my favourite thing to order

Always busy with a lot of delivery drivers, although friendly staff and relatively quick service. Open late too which is great!

I love the atmosphere and ambiance. It's small when compared with other but well maintained and cleaning. Washroom are clean and tide. Coming to food except the rice items app are good. Especially their flavours wooow wooow. Lovely staff friendly and helpful. Food and ambiance are well Hygiene. They have separate kids menu. Menu wise options wise they can satisfy all ages.

Once and never again. The waitress repeats his questions in the finest Indian English at machine gun speed like a robot. The toilet is in a more than unacceptable condition (e.g. it doesn't flush at all). The food, mild, was still spicy. So normal spicy would probably be inedible. My stomach rebelled. 🤢 We'll steer clear of this “restaurant” in the future.

Been to a few pepes in Scotland but the home stretch branch is the best by far. Food alway tastes soft and fresh Alway served hot . Guy with beard behind counter knows his stuff - always recommends diff dishes and never got it wrong . Place is always busy but tables and chairs are always clean

Always Good.Never disappointed.Prices are very reasonable.Due to being popular sometimes can be crowded at peak times but for a quick snack you can't find a better place nearby.

There chicken is amazing especially you can pick your flavour for your chicken and theres several options for food I really love there burgers and there chicken strip.

Excellent Pepe's experience!! Ordered rice & chicken which was full to the brim, so much chicken so much sauce, such a generous portion, not stingy like many other Pepe's. I rarely give 5 stars but this one deserves more then 5 stars

I called to ask a few questions about their food. They said they can’t answer any questions and they’ll come as they usually come. I asked if can get an idea as I’ve not ordered before. They said they can’t explain as everything’s as usual. I asked again but they got annoyed. I ordered regardless, they made 2 drivers wait at the restaurant for 27min saying the food was not ready. My son had to wait over an hour to cancel the visit and order from somewhere else. The unprofessionalism knows no bounds and the audacity to neglect customer care and service is off the scale!! Absolutely disgusting customer service and the staffs attitude.

Found to much hair in rice boxes...I found they are not using hair nets.worst behaviour at billing counter.more over Dangerous sauces.

Both my orders were super late as preparing the food took over 1 hour both times. First time they send me a completely wrong order and the second time they forgot some of the items.

Worst experience, food quality was rank and to top it off the staff was extremely rude and not welcoming at all! Staff was even telling delivery drivers to just cancel peoples orders and leave. Would never step foot in there again!

The amount of noise that comes from this place at night is ridiculous.

Do not order from this place unless you want scammed. Closes at 2 and I orders at 1:15 and my order did not come, The delivery driver pronounced it as delivered and tried to take my money without delivery being delivered. lucky I ordered through Uber eats and provided proof and claimed my funds back for my non recover order. I have then ordered a second time and had the exact same issue. The place is a shambles I love the pepes in Glasgow but that one has been franchised to the wrong people, very upsetting and disappointing as a respected customer.

Very slow service if you order via pepes app. If you order for collection for certain time, they won’t start preparing your order till you ask about your order. Best is go there and order over counter

me and my friends ordered a takeaway and i have a few issues: 1. the lady disconnected phone when we first phoned up the shop, 2. it took us 45 mins to arrive to the place and the food had still not been ready to takeaway and we waited an extra 15 mins for to be ready, you would think if you order food in advance it would be ready once you arrive. 3. they even forgot to give my friend's drink in the bag when she ordered it and she had to go back inside to get it. the whole experience was too time consuming.

I had queued up and was at the front of the line and the lady spoke over me to serve the man behind me, when I tried to say my order she spoke over me and said “two minutes” and proceeded to serve the man behind me in the queue!!!!! absolutely shocking!!

Ordered a delivery on just eat and waited an hour with no updates so I called the restaurant to ask what was going on. They said that they didn't find a driver for the order and so weren't making the food, but never bothered to let us know or cancel the order just postponed the delivery time. We waited an hour for food to turn up that they were never planning on making, I am very disappointed, there would have been no issues if they had just cancelled the order when they couldn't find a driver. Also, the lady on the phone was very rude and didn't apologize or provide an explanation as to why the order had not been cancelled. Now that I had to cancel the order, I cannot dispute this with just eat.

Stafff is totally aggressive,the restaurant toilet is closed 2 hours before the opening times everyday ,the staff is so rude they need to learn bit more about customer service or shut the place

The Grilled Chicken Leg was remarkably tender and juicy, bursting with flavor. However, the Breast piece lacked moisture and flavor on the inside, so it needed some sauces.

Delicious food with a fantastic team. An excellent spot to savor some delectable chicken dishes.

The taste was satisfactory. I ordered a burrito with rice filling, and it felt a bit dry to me.
