Poor value for money, no ice in soda, soda was lukewarm, £10 meal for absolute dross of chicken wings and nasty fries

We love this restaurant, especially in Bishop's Stortford. The staff are always welcoming, and Himansbu, in particular, always greets us with a smile. The service is excellent, and the food is just as amazing. If employee bonuses were based on customer reviews, I wouldn’t hesitate to say they deserve one!

Pepe’s is my favourite cafe, but today the delivery service was upsetting. I got a call from delivery driver saying that he cannot Find my address. I didnt know how to explain it and he told me he will take the food back to restaurant. I don’t think it is Cusotmer responsibility to explain where is the address, from the unknown point the driver is. It is drivers responsibility.

Ordered this last night with mum. I got the hot chicken rice box loaded meal with the chimichurri mayo, not realising the sheer size of the loaded chips. I also had the cheese bites on the side. The cheese bites are good, chicken is well seasoned, rice is standard, and loaded chips are very nice. Had this takeaway so can’t comment on atmosphere.

Really good Pepes. Was really happy to see one when we moved to Bishops Stortford. Staff are very friendly. Always have a smile on their face and work really hard. Food is 10/10 portions big and always hot.

I eat here on a weekly basis - the whole team are amazing and friendly and always welcome me back. Food is always 10/10 l, I order for collection and always ready. I think there’s a guy who works here called Nav if I am not mistaken, he is an absolute legend and always service with a smile.

A large selection of meals deals, individual options and combinations available on the menu. You can also choose the spicing options from plain, through to extreme! I had the Chicken burrito wrap and the extreme heat option. Wow, it certainly kicks a punch! 🤯 But it was what I asked for, and was still enjoyable. Food cooked on order, was fresh, full of flavour and would have it again. Seating is available inside and had tables available when I visited at lunchtime. Recommended to give it a try, if you’ve not experienced it before 👍

been to numerous pepes and this is by far the worse! tiny portions and the chicken was soo dry. it was like eating chewy leather. very poor and won't be returning. also much more expensive than the other pepes i've been to!

I have just bought an XL Chicken as my first ever meal at Pepe’s. It is also my last. The burger looked like it had been thrown on the ground and stamped on and the chicken was like a piece of old dried up leather and was totally inedible.

Delivered fast. Food was warm, but chips were soggy and chicken was unusually tough. Order a lot from here and normally have no issues, so hopefully this was just a one-off.

The food was very disappointing we have ordered from here before and food is lovely this time chicken was not fresh no flavour the mild flavour was the same as the hot flavour so we couldn't eat it as it was way too spicy. Really disappointed..

Amazing food, sauce's are amazing, located on the main high street makes it the perfect spot for a snack whilst shopping, id recommend the mild wrap with chips or can always recommend for a surprise flavour

Called the restaurant and their excuse was the hot bag burnt the chips and the distance made the food cold. We always order from the hoddeson branch which is further and they always deliver hot food and fresh food. So disappointed won’t be ordering from here again

I get the same 2 things every time and mostly always happy. I would recommend the Paneer items (as a vegetarian tho I’d recommend for anyone). However, my family have tried the meat stuff and not said good things about it.

I've been a regular customer here for quite some time now, and every time I've either called in my order or dined in, it's been a stellar 10/10 experience. The food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful, and the service is second to none. However, I recently decided to try their online ordering system, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The food arrived cold, late, and some items were squashed. It's evident that the quality was not up to their usual standard. I know that this isn't typical for them, so I'll continue to order over the phone or dine in, where I can count on the excellent food and service that I've come to expect. I would have given it 5 stars but the food delivery has to improve!!

We waited over an hour for our food, we called twice, to which they said they were waiting on a driver, the restaurant closed at 11pm and we still had no update on our order, however received at 11:11 by the time the driver called and us to meet him. By this point it was of course freezing and hard.

DO NOT CONFUSE "PEPE'S peri peri" for other stores with similar names or words. I can't find it on Delivero. They are 3 very kind guys. They don't have drivers because they only work with different people. They have been open for about a month, not 2/3 or anything. Don't defame this place in a frivolous way. Please make sure who you are talking about. I can't complain about them. Thanks again!!!
