Pepe's in North Lanarkshire

I moved from Glasgow and really wanted Pepe’s wings. I was so disappointed when we bought wings at Motherwell Pepe’s. It was inedible, I had to wash them and make them over.Thank goodness I can cook. I won’t be eating there again.

Every occasional I've visited this pepes its been shocking. Dry as can be even when request more sauce. Drive to Hamilton instead that Pepes is fantastic. This one on the other hand. If they offered me free pepes for a year if knock it back. SCRAP without the S....

Only came in for 2 large peri chips staff were lovely food came fast and roasting hot and they were not stingey with the peri unlike a lot of places dips were unreal also 5 star experience

Excellent food and very friendly and customer centric employees. I am regular at this place. If you have any worries during your visit there, ask for Mr. Hussain. He is very kind, helpful and customer focused.

I had the chic'n'rice box (hot) - it was delicious. Box was packed with nippy rice, and covered with chunks of succulent tasty chicken breast - I would definitely buy this again. Also had regular chips - another recommendation from me, I think going for peri-peri fries to accompany the hot rice would have been a spice too far for me! The staff were very friendly and polite - and helpful with knowledge of the spicy factor. Thank You! Wait time was about 10 minutes which is perfectly acceptable as the food is cooked to order. Good experience and will definitely repeat.

The food is really tasty especially the rice and chicken extra hot . They have paneer options for vegans which is really tasty too . You have the option to select the spice level. From lime chicken to hot ,extra hot, and extreme hot The food I'd actually really tasty. They have burgers with same tasty chicken. The price is reasonable than Nando's. Love the rice ...

Lastnight I placed an order worth over £42 from Justeat around 8:25pm my food never arrived till 11:15pm. My food arrived freezing, all chips, chicken, rice and onion rings everything came cold, Rice soaked with oil. Listen my advise to anyone who is looking to order food from here please just look for somewhere else to order your food unless you don't mind waiting for your food to be delivered 3 hours and cold. Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting. Next time I will make toast or order from some where else!

Please avoid pepe’s Motherwell. They are not cooking this meat fresh. They sent me an XL chicken burger that was pink, dry and solid. This was not cooked fresh!!! I contacted the business who offered to send out another one, fresh. Took them over 45 minutes to deliver (i’m a 4 min drive from this building) and I contacted them again where I was then told they sent out five of these burgers at the same time and I was the only one to complain. I have sent the burger back for the manager to look at!! Disgusting.

Waited an hour and a half for delivery Saturday afternoon. They wouldn’t answer phone. Uber eats tried to contact them and they didn’t pick up the phone either. Eventually had to cancel via Uber. Awful service

SHOULD HAVE WENT TO GREGG'S Came off my break and trying to eat healthy so i thought a nice chicken and rice would be lovely to sit and have. Place is stone dead with one just eat order and ive waited over 15 mins for it and barely any chicken and stacked full of rice for £8.49 I'll not be back!

My "go to" for a quick bite to eat. Always consistently good. I've never had a bad meal. Staff are always pleasant and helpful plus it's an open kitchen and you can see everything that's going on with how your food is being prepared. Recently completed my loyalty card to get the full chicken. Don't let that put you off, it's not actually a whole chicken. It's essentially the pieces of chicken, legs and breast that would make up for being a whole chicken. It was all cooked to perfection. Great flavour through the chicken and crispy skin!! My 3 children much prefer eating here than KFC or McDonalds. The food is always cooked well, tastes good, is healthier, not greasy and oily and the chips are always hot, crispy and never floppy

Food spot on no complaints would recommend for something spicy.

Absolutely boggin and the Pepsi was flat as fook. If you want a better scran go through the bins infront.

Visited recently within my pal as he said it was delicious the shops small and smells good when walking in. The food prep all from fresh. Only issue is the building is always cold or was when we went in. But food was good

I’m a regular customer and all I can say is that the food and especially the customer service is 10\10. The food is up to standard, the portions are large and the customer service is excellent. I definitely recommend eating at Pepe’s even if it’s fine in or take out the service is always good.

Another amazing meal from Pepe’s, we have the quesadilla and wing platter and brilliant every time. The foods always ready for collection time and the staff are all so lovely! We would 1000% recommend pepes to anyone who hasn’t been and have done in the past!

Complete shambles, they cannot handle the orders. Need more staff I'm not sure if they even have a Manager. I can't believe how bad this pepes is, ordered twice and both times they have got my order wrong, cold or dry and hard. Health and safety inspector needs to pay this place a visit ASAP.

Place is so disorganised. Waited 20 minutes for nachos and after asking how long it will be as there was still no sign of it was told by 1 the grill switched off but they would make it and another that it broke. Asked just to get my money back as had a train to get and could hear them all moaning about it at the grills. Won't be back.

Would like to try again on a good day. My biggest bug bear is being served food that looks nothing like advertised. I know, i know when does it ever anywhere. Maybe i'm just a little over optimistic

Food was nice and hot and tasty

I visited here a couple of days ago. Truly a very welcoming experience. The staff were great but a special shout out to Mr Hussain who was the most nicest person, such a pleasant demeanour, spoke to my kids kindly, and just came across as such a great man. The food was good too but if I am ever in the area, I would definitely visit again just because of the mannerism of the staff.

Quality seems to have improved since previous visits with nothing missing from the order and food tasting fresh. The staff have always been great however and customer focus is always 100%. If the rice and chicken continues to always be served fresh and hot I will continue giving 5 stars.

Decent, especially before my first covid jag. Chicken Piri Piri was spot on and the rice was spot on.

Been today with my daughters and sister and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Staff were really helpful throughout the ordering process. Hussain(if I remembered correctly) was very nice to kids and recommended food for them which both of them enjoyed. Would recommend to everyone and would defo pay another visit if in area again.

The best thing about this place was that they still use plastic straws. I ordered the chicken Tasca which was soggily stuck to the wrapper. The chicken was a big let down considering how amazing it smells from the outside. My chicken was covered in sinew which made it pretty chewy. The “crispy” onion rings were soggy and disappointing. Plus points though for the chips which were delicious and generously portioned and the fountain drinks which had a decent syrup/water ratio.

Just had a delivery first time from here food was cold chips were soggy n cold tasted like re heats not impressed at all my partner got a burger it was cold and burnt no taste not a happy customer

Horrible restaurant, Shahid Farooq's (The owner) son, Saqib Farooq sim swapped me and took my money! His son is a hacker and the food at this establishment is awful! I took one bite out of their chicken and gagged. Would not recommend unless you want to have Saqib steal all of your money!

Went into Pepe's today 1st time trying it. Peri Peri fries and Garlic dip were awesome and the Chicken wrap could be my new addiction. Friendly Staff also!!!! DELICIOUS GUYS!

Joke of a place I am stuck in a hospital and tried to order food to my ward witch the nurses said would be fine and the delivery driver is saying he couldnt get I to the building witch is lie could have went into main door and came up to my ward and rang the buzzer but obviously to much hassle for them now having trouble getting my money back thanks for nothing

Find it a bit crazy that they won’t accept take away orders form inside the shop, yet absolutely fine with people coming in and out for collections/deliveries. I was about to place an order for 5 people and point blank refuse to do it through an app to be charged extra and where there is no proper indication or explanation of what’s on/in certain foods etc.

Pepes has always been my go-to, even during lunchtimes at school I stopped for a quick bite alot and due to that the manager gave me and my friends a discount, such amazing customer service:) I would highly recommend this, been going here ever since it opened

So I used to live in the middle east and I've found it impossible to find chicken and rice as good as there since I came home. Yesterday 4 of went to pepes in motherwell, it was my first visit but all the rest of the group highly recommended it. Imagine my utter surprise when the chicken and rice (basically a biryani without the veg) was what I had been looking for. I did not expect it from a fast food restaurant. I went for the mild sauce and it was still lively enough to give the food a real kick. The seasoned fries were crispy and delicious too and the garlic mayo was pretty much perfect. We did have to return the wings as they looked pink but the restaurant was more than happy to replace them and explain to us that its just how the wings look even if you over cooked them. I never tried the double burger or the burrito that the other guys ordered but they did look well presented and fresh. The best part? Because of this eat out to help out discount thats out just now my woman and I picked up our 2 medium meals for a total of £6.99. Absolute bargain. I would highly recommend 14.5 out of 10.

Food is good but home delivery to be avoided. We've had 2 home delivery disasters with drivers unable to find location in town centre. Chicken and mango sauce is good however.

Got a delivery today for chicken wings. Would not recommend one bit. Flavour was disappointing very sweet and wired taste to it. Feel robbed that I paid £14 for 18 wings and then delivery, still got them here. Would be taking them back if there wasn't a pandemic.

Bought the chilli chicken nan meal today. It was so disgusting. It was stone cold with 2 small pieces of chicken, limp lettuce and tomato. It was inedible. If the weather hadn't been so bad we would have brought it back. As we were leaving with our takeaway the environmental health came in. Disgusting food wont be back.
