We gest had dinner last night with the kids at Golden Grouse and yes absolutely waisted off money all the food cold dry can eat anything my wee girl can eat nothing not pizza available we ask for pizza and they ask what do wee want to be on after 5 min bring 2 slices off cheese pizza if I can call cheese pizza who’s frozen pizza heated up absolutely waisted 75£ 2 adults and 2 children. About dessert i took a square cheese cake and look like ben defrost I gest left it absolutely disgusting . Other food dry 2 choices off curry with crust at the top. Never again.

I would definitely recommend coming here! The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. Good value for a buffet and lots of different food options!

The food is not edible. The staff are nice but the food is just limited and more of leftovers. It’s just Shouldn’t be consumed by humans.

I have been coming here for the last 2 weeks I really liked the food and the staff service Chef luxman has made me an amazing Chinese egg rice I will definitely come again

Please do not waste your hard earned money! Visited tonight for dinner and it was just a complete let down. I feel robbed! Staff friendly and polite and place is clean but that's as far as it goes for positives. Global food? Absolutely dire. It's mainly Indian with some cheap frozen pizzas and nuggets thrown in for good measure. In one tub was roast beef that was like shoe leather and chips with a very thin tasteless gravy on them. There was about 3 items in the Chinese section and of those the 'egg fried rice' had about 4 different chopped square vegetables in it and no egg to be seen, obviously a frozen pack of some sort. The sweet and sour chicken was bone dry chicken soaked in Indian spices and then sat in a weird sweet and sour sauce that only tasted of ketchup? The desserts included what looked like broken up squares of jelly from the packet not even made up with hot water? The ice cream was cheap and nasty and the chocolate in the fountain had a cheap foreign chocolate taste to it. Nothing was authentic, nothing was cooked very well and nothing tasted nice im afraid. What a waste of good money. Husband said the best part of it was the door out of it. Won't be back

Dunno how this place has good reviews because honestly it was barkin, dry and bland and honestly I’m not one for putting review's up that often. Pints were rotten also, £56 for absolute garbage. Friday night and there was 6 people there which speaks volumes, Avoid.

Parking was never an issue. Food was great, freshly cooked and well presented. staffs were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely coming back

Walked in at 7pm Thursday night. Was 3 other tables. Instantly noticed atmosphere was off. Music very disco club like and just zero ambience at all…. The food - well where to start… the worst buffet offering I’ve ever seen. Chicken chat - dry and chewy. Chicken pakora - tasted about a week old, chewy, dry & almost inedible. Pepper chicken - drowned in sweet sauce (likely to cover the taste of the poor quality, dried out, chicken!!), Main courses - no difference between chicken chasni and chicken South Indian garlic chicken. Same dry tasteless chicken. Sauces bland and over coloured. Lamb Bhuna was ok.. and that’s a push. Again salty, poorly spiced and generally zero effort made… Had to laugh - British section… chicken nuggets, onion rings and sausage rolls… all of which looked dry as a bone under heat lights. Italian - didn’t go near the mac and cheese or meatballs as it looked so unappealing. Did try a slice of pizza - wish I hadn’t. Dry cardboard would’ve probably tasted better. Desserts - not sure about you but I’ve never had jelly with a crust on it before… the cakes looked like they might injure me so avoided. Chocolate fountain was cheap nasty chocolate tasting and the ice cream had zero flavour. Best thing about the experience was the Diet Coke I ordered. Will not be back. The audacity to call this a global banquet is beyond criminal. You should be ashamed of this level of effort and if you think this is representative of Indian cuisine then my suggestion if you’ve never been….. Avoid….. Also if you are Muslim and require halal meat don’t go here… the menu states “ not all of our food is not halal” whatever that means….

For a small buffet the food needs to be good …… and it certainly is . A little gem this place .Starters are spot on , everyone of them 👍🏻. Mains as well… Italian section is descent no complaints , mac n cheese , pizza n meatballs 👍🏻 …. So as you might have guessed I thoroughly enjoyed eating at this establishment 👌 thank you!

Lovely place, food was lovely, all fresh and plenty of choice. First time here with family and it will now be a regular thing. We were a party of 7 and had no problem getting a table at short notice.

Avoid. We paid £37 for a couple of starters. After that we didn’t want to risk anything else. Sauce in starters had congealed and was at best tepid. Chicken pakora and another chicken starter I couldn’t even cut with my knife as it was that dry and hard. When we complained we were told it was because it was nearly closing time, 8pm. Sorry but whether it’s an hour after opening or an hour before closing all customers should be able to at least have hot edible food. We did notice some lovely food on the table next to us who ordered their food, no one offered us that option. Also saw threats of food being taken and set up in another room. Not quite sure how these owners manage to treat 3 lots of customers in different ways. The owner took £5 off of our bill!!!! The price of one coke (£4.50). There are plenty exceptional Restraunts out there that provide excellent food and service. Save your money and try one of them.

Pathetic experience. Placed an order and after 1 hour 15 mins when we called the lady in the restaurant said the chef forgot the order as they were busy catering a party. Terrible as everyone were hungry and no food. Never ever order from Gloden Grouse. Really disgraceful service and above all on calling them later again they just hung the call again and again.

Went here last week based off of google reviews and definitely wont be back , was a waste of time and money… the food was absolutely terrible and that’s me being nice . It was dry and tasted as though it’d been sitting for about a week. The chefs need to rethink their career because i could have done a better job than them. No amount of money could ever convince me to eat here again. we should have left as soon as we seen there was only two other people there that looked just as pleased as us 😅

We expected it to be quiet as it's mid week but the food was so poor. Chicken Pakora dried out or rubbery , Chinese selection was awful , Dessert selection so minimal. The only nice food was Nan bread and pilau rice:-( I didn't even try a dessert I'd actually say this was the worst buffet iv been to. Staff on phone entire time.

Place looks nice inside staff r pleasant enough, food is below par unfortunately, dried out old food some of the dishes where ok and edible but overall experience is poor as my wife brought back an empty plate to the table and said this is all I want. Shame tho place could have potential but we won't be back

Popped here recently. Plenty to choose from was a positive. Starters decent Everything else was luke warm. Skin forming. Pizzas tasted cheap. Chilli con carne I avoided as looked like been there a while. Chicken in most dishes tasted dry despite being saucy. Like the recent reviews, I too will not be back. Was my second visit, and previous one was a similar experience.

Drive by every day on my way to work and today decided to give it a go.. Staff were brilliant. Polite and well mannered. Food was delicious. Good selection of food and desserts. Both myself and my partner had about 5 plates each including desserts plus drinks and it only came to £42. Excellent value for money will 100% be back in the near future. P.s the lamb was to die for. Nice and tender and more importantly not fatty 👌 compliments to the chef and waiters..

Poor food choice and food not great. But don't know who they think they are charging £16 for evening buffet and more on the weekends. Cosmo is just a bit more expensive but you get so much more. Absolute criminals .

Had the a la carte menu. Food was nice.. ambience was ok, but staff is mainly catering to buffet population so seemed a bit lost in some places.

After visiting several buffets in Glasgow city centre, I must admit that Golden Grouse offers much better quality food at a reasonable price.

Supposed be unlimited food not limited as the selection was bare or dried out, spoke with staff but when we went back up same limited selection, they said they would bring stuff to the table but I said it was fine and I would just have a main, I had lamb bhunna but even that was watered down and only about 5 pieces of meat, the nan was dried out and crispy

We thought we would try somewhere different and what a mistake that was!! Food was rotten. The chasni was like water, the nan bread was burnt to a crisp, the soup had no taste, chicken was dry, I could go on! It’s also totally overpriced for the location and the food we had. The best bit about it was the pints of Kingfisher although they were priced at £6.25 a pint!

Very disappointed in our carry out tonight. Pakora was lovely, but the lamb in our bhoona was very tough and most of it l couldn't eat. The flavour in the sauce was amazing but let down by the lamb. The nan bread was also not the best. It cost £39.50 for Pakora, 2 lamb bhoona, 1 boiled rice and a nan, it was not good value.

We ate tonight in golden grouse for the first time and will DEFINITELY be back! My party of 5 called and got a table within the hour. We arrived and were greated so well. Had loads of delicious food. Absolutely every cuisine was beautiful. Great choice and lovely desserts! So worth the money but reasonably priced. Thankyou again to all the staff.

Took my mum for lunch today. The food was absolutely lovely and fresh and plenty of choice. Only thing I'd say was missing was maybe a cheesecake or gateau instead of all the wee picky dessert bits. We'll definitely be back.

Me and my family went to cosmos a couple weeks ago and I didn't eat much because it wasn’t that good but this buffet exceeded my expectations. Staff were so kind and it’s an amazing price I would really recommend and you won’t be disappointed

It wasn't anything special the food was alright but the other reviews over exaggerated it the staff was nice and took the dishes away instantly and the atmosphere was okay it had a quiet music you could hear if you where talking and getting food it could do a bit of improvement with more food choices and just better food. And it was eighty pounds for four which I thinks a bit expensive for how it is.

I will not be back. Food had been sitting out too long and meat was tough, there's not a big enough selection of foods to warrant the price and the place was freezing. Very disappointing and overpriced.

Both myself and partner visit here as a treat when kid free, food is really good, staff are polite and welcoming, Most of the time we visit the golden grouse we are there on our own (roughly lunch time) or there are just a few other customers, I don't understand why as its a nice place, maybe need more advertising?

after looking at some good reviews I decided to book here, last I’ll trust google reviews lol, got there Friday night place was empty not one other customer , there was very little selection and the food was rank tasteless dry processed chicken that I could bet was lying there from lunch time. If you want a decent meal and nice atmosphere I would advise avoiding a lot better places close by.

We had our family Christmas dinner here today and it was totally Amazing. The food was fresh, plenty full and nothing was left to run out it was all filled up quickly there was no wait for any dish whatsoever. Roast beef was carved buy the lovely lady and she also had turkey in gravy with all the Xmas trimmings. I'd definitely recommend this place 💯 %. The staff are all lovely too and the restaurant is immaculate. Well done to you all especially when the place was so busy.

Amazing service from all the staff but would like to point out Ayush he seemed so passionate about his job , told both myself and my partner that if there isn’t enough or if something has ran out to please tell him and he would get some more brought out for us! Such a gentleman made us feel very welcome from the beginning! And of course food was 10/10 top notch even made me a mocktail that wasn’t on the menu overall we are very satisfied

Got there just after 5pm on a Friday and was already concerned that there were dribs and drabs left (no other people in when we got there) and could tell it was reheated from lunch. Poor choice of starters and all very dry with only ketchup and mango sauce to help make them palatable. The Indian dishes all smelled and looked good but the rest didn't leave much to the imagination. No idea what was going on with the sweet and sour chicken, it looked vile so didn't try it. Felt like we were constantly being stared at by waiters and the chefs. Didn't dare try the English/Italian or the Mexican as it all looked very drab. Bill was £53 for 2 adults and one child, that was with discount. I saw it more of a "all you want to eat" as apposed to all you "can" as I left hungry and disappointed. I won't be returning.

Nice place however the food was not the best and I left after spending nearly £60 and was not impressed at all with the feeling of being underwhelmed in the stomach department.

We went here for a lunch and can’t rate it enough. As it was a lunch all the Indian curries were made with chicken which unfortunately I don’t eat and when I asked the waitress if they were planning on bringing any lamb dishes out she spoke to the chef and he made me my own special lamb curry which was amazing. All the food was cooked to perfection with a very wide range of dishes from starters to mains to deserts and the staff were all lovely. Overall a great place to eat and well with a visit.
