Dined in the restaurant a few times and the food has been lovely.just orderd a delivery online and was so disappointed food was cold bland and the parmesan chips were inedible mush £30 wasted won't be ordering again.

Visited with friends for the lunch menu. Great value for money and good choice. Staff were attentive and service was fab. Love going here. Only slight complaint was the fries were pre salted and as such too salty for me and I didn't eat them, it did say on menu that fries were salted but I hadn't noticed 😕 Won't stop me recommending this place or going again, note to self...read menu properly.

I called an hour before closing and managed to get something to eat. I ordered a starter – the starter, soup was okay, and the steak was fine too. The food was good, though not spectacular compared to what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. The desserts at the nearby table looked delicious, but I was too full to try any. The atmosphere would definitely benefit from real Italian music in the background instead of random tunes. But overall, I’d recommend it.

Today was my first visit where we had breakfast, and I can safely say that it was delicious. It was well seasoned, tasty and there was plenty of it (which is good as I'm a big chap), also the price was more than reasonable. Its one of the only places where the food that you see online and on thier website, is the same as whats plated up to you. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and also funny, so that added to the experience. Safe to say that I'll be returning, not just for breakfast, but for lunches and dinner too.

pasta bland, spicy but bland .. roast vegetables????? carrot parsnip, turnip .. even if we say those pass as a roast vegetable dish, they were not even roasted they had no taste and the portion was tiny, chips were ok, brownie bland .. disgusting

This is a great restaurant, staff are very nice, attentive & professional. It's a bit out the way & you'd need to know it was there but well worth a visit. Food is lovely & I would recommend.

The Pizza "WAS NOT" Cut Into Slices and the outer crust was heavy black burned - Worst Pizza ever tasted BOAK .. NEVER AGAIN !

Food was absolutely delicious, hot and arrived earlier than expected. I left two requests in the notes section regarding two of the food items and both were followed. Really can’t fault it and hope I can dine in the restaurant soon.

Food was so overcooked, pasta is supposed to be Al dente, not mush. Was absolutely not worth £45 for two starters and two horrible pasta dishes.

They did exactly what we asked for with our order as we needed things separate. Pasta was a little heavy with cream and chips very soggy which would be due to the container used.

Food poisoning.I’ve been up all night with sickness and diarrhea because I eat out of this place.I got Scottish muscles and spaghetti with chicken and mushrooms.They told me there was nothing they could do about it.I would have to prove that it came from this restaurant and confirm it by a doctor.I’ve eat out of here before and it was great but not this time.Absolutely gob smacked there is nothing they can do.This restaurant gave me food poisoning and obviously I will never recommend it.

Back again the breakfast outstanding we had lunch today pasta was a bit spicy to our taste chef made us fresh dishes to take home how lovely was that a hidden gem with 5 star service totally recommend free parking and quality second to none

This was Il Capo’s introductory morning of their breakfast menu. It was open from 9am until 11am. We arrived at about 10.30 and there were plenty of tables available. The menu is varied and includes Full Scottish breakfast, large and small. The large is exactly that!! It has Italian omelette, which was very delicious served with freshly baked focaccia bread! Sicilian breakfast, eggs benedict and more. Service was fast and friendly as usual. What a treat, I highly recommend a visit, I believe it’s open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We will return as I want to try everything on the menu. Well done to all concerned.

Lovely hot fresh breakfast, couldn’t fault it at all. Followed the notes to the letter so we got exactly what we wanted. Definitely will use again.

From the starter to the desert it was brilliant the soup was amazing and the meatballs was to die and the sticky toffee pudding and the sever grace was nice and funny

Had a lovely lunch there. It's a great place for friends and family. Good menu with something for everyone. Special lunch menu is fantastic. Not too expensive and the food is very good. I had the Milanese The staff are very professional and welcoming. We didn't have a booking but we were lucky enough to get a table in their lovely establishment. I would imagine that you would have to book in advance as it seems a very popular place. I have passed it and always meant to try. I will be back. Well done Ilcapo

The pizza tasted great however the bottom was slightly soggy. The pate was in a container along with the toast, salad and onions however due to this the bread was soggy and the salad wasn’t fresh. I had to make my own toast and the pate was very tasty.

Was OK, neither bad nor good. Ordered Pate which came with just a slice of toasted normal bread 😑......bit strange! Tasted ok . Bruschetta was good (friends order) . Mains were SpagBol and maceroni.....hardly any mince with spag bol and was laden with Chilli ,.....friend says mac was ok. Bill was £35 for 2 courses with 3 soft drinks and a side which is very reasonable . I wont hurry back but if i am ever in Airdrie again and hungry then I might try again. Restaurant was clean and staff were attentive.

Great food and service. But! Ordered a pizza to go after a sit in meal. And it wasn’t sliced / cut. So, trying to share a large round piece of dough between 3 of us with no available cutlery. Annoying

We moved to Airdrie last year and after driving past loads of times finally popped in for lunch and discovered what we have been missing..when you step through the door you are in another place it is a beautiful restaurant with lovely staff and amazing food. We can't wait to go back and take the family.

We came for lunch was tempted into the 3 course lunch menu with extra garlic bread and 2 beers. Hubby had the mussels a good portion followed by penne carbonara and lemon sorbet. I had ministrone soup which came with bread, penne arabiata and sticky toffee pudding. Food was good portion for a lunch and tasty. Bill was £43. Staff were lovely.

Great food and ambience although we were sad to see the demise of the Colosseum wall print! Really good value for money!!

Another fab family meal here this evening. I can’t praise the staff and chef more highly than a five star review. Such a lovely welcome as always and what a fabulous menu. Great for kids too! Food was lukewarm and greasy. Delivery was an hour later than promised. Disappointing.

The wrong food delivered and late, the spaghetti Bolognese and chips are nice enough but recieving the wrong pizza and it being late is disappointing.

I honestly could not love this restaurant more. we've eaten in a few times and it has always been stunning. takeaway was just as good! everything was still hot and the kids loved their food as well! this will defo become a family regular choice

Delicious food with a cheeky cheeseburger thrown in for good measure! Pizzas were lovely, Risotto was immense and yummy, the chips were too much... we were greedy. :)

Brilliant pizza but a little lacking on the topping, italian sausage. Next time I will ask for double topping but it was lovely.

Lunchtime Menu has a wide enough selection that even the fussiest of eaters would be well fed. portion size very much value for money. Service was quick and efficient without making you feel rushed to eat.

Nice restaurant and enjoyed our food. My chicken dish was about £18 and although well presented, very dry and tough at the top. Charging city centre prices in Airdrie. Food has got to be spot on to justify that.

Only good thing was the rapid delivery. Asked for no onions or tomatoes in the dishes this was ignored, and the pasta was tasteless very watery should’ve been tried before it left restaurant

Pizzas were decent, fries good, and sticky toffee pudding got a thumbs up. Our only criticism: delivery time. Our food was originally scheduled to arrive by 19.10. We got an update to say the delivery would reach us by 19.25. That time came and went with no further updates. The delivery eventually arrived at 19.50. We didn’t mind the lateness — it’s a busy time of year — but the updates stopping abruptly wasn’t great. Then again, that might be the fault of the app rather than the restaurant.

A high standard of food delivered in good time.

Had the "turkey" dinner which consisted of cold vegetables and sliced turkey which was like sandwich meat with cold gravy. The patè was served on a cold slice of toasted bread instead of oat cakes. Very disappointed 😞

Most dishes are available in Gluten free variants. Lots of choice. Great food. Well stocked bar.

We are regular customers as you will be aware but we were very disappointed on this occasion. Calzone Pizza was doughy and undercooked. Box was soaked through on the bottom on delivery. It seemed as though the order had been rushed as it was delivered 30 minutes before its earliest delivery time and still showed on the app as undelivered 30 minutes later. We expected restaurant quality food and were very disappointed. A waste of hard earned money and pizza went in the bin. We had to share the ch

Great chicken meal, good portions and price point is similar to nandos. Lovely little place with absolutely spot on staff. If you like steaks and Italian food then this place is very good.

The sea bass was so salty, I couldn’t eat it- which was such a shame as the fish looked cooked perfectly was just the sauce it came in was overpowering with salt made it inedible

Pollo chicken had few bones in it, chicken was dry wasn’t very nice tbh, pizza & burger were lovely though.

Ordered myself a Frutti Di Mare pizza for delivery on Saturday evening. My food arrived ahead of schedule and was still piping hot. I was hopeful but was delighted as the food far exceeded my expectations, outstanding 👏. The prices may seem a bit steep but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for and worth it. The Pizza chef deserves a big high 5 🖐. I’ll definitely be returning. See you soon

Usually great but terrible this time. Ordered the pollo milanese. Two tiny bits of overcooked chicken that I couldn't even cut through. Pasta was fine.

Waited nearly 90 mins .. pizza was cold & not sliced up , garlic mushroom were soggy .. bolognaise & chips were ok
