Really good grill chcken by ghazala. It was seasoned so perfectly, loved the food and ambiance of place also custoner service is great I didn’t had to wait so long.

Ordered my family meal to break fast for delivery via deliveroo, status of the order didn’t change for over an hour, by the looks of the status of the order, they were preparing my order for the entire time! Fast time came in and still nothing, no status change on the order, called the shop over 50 times for an update, no answer or went straight to voicemail!!! In the end, after fasting, I had to drive to the store (not local to me) to get a status update on my order and collect it in person. No applogies from the staff, no consideration for the inconvenience they’d caused, just handed me my order 15 minutes after I’d got there. It’s just not good enough. I contacted deliveroo when I got home to make a complaint and they washed their hands off the issue, “as the store delivers their deliveroo orders direct, you will need to take the issue up directly with the store”! If they’d answer their damn phone, I would!!! I will be contacting Pepe’s HO to make a formal complaint. My mother is diabetic and due to this Pepe’s lack of care, her sugar levels dropped and she was very unwell and unable to eat the meal I had ordered for her! A separate meal had to be prepared for her from home due to Pepe’s erdington atrocious customer service!

Ordered food from here and they didn’t deliver my food in the month of Ramadan. I was fasting all day and I ordered food from here they were so easy to take my money but they didn’t want to deliver my food today. I ordered around £40 worth of food for myself and family and didn’t deliver this! I try to call the shop too and they deliberately not answering my phone calls. Please avoid this store at all costs complete waste of time to order from here

Ordered takeaway through deliveroo, after 2 and a half hours my food still has not arrived. I called after an hour had passed and was told by a rude employee that my food would be delivered in 20 minutes. They then stopped answering the phone. This is unacceptable. DO NOT accept orders if you cannot deliver them. Appalling service and will never place an order here again.

The staff was very rude!! I asked for some peri peri chips but they had so much spice in them I asked the staff and I told him that the chips had too much spice in them he said there’s a the bin how rude and ignorant this was the second packet of chips I bought couldn’t even finish the first one it had too much spice I felt that I wasted my money! This was at erdington brunch

Worst experience i have ever had in my life. The staff was too rude and not helpful at all. I had a minor delivery address problem which they refused to sort out and also did not give me any refund , also i was willing to pay the cancellation charges. Very bad experience.

Just tried Pepe's for the first time! Ordered chicken and rice and chicken tenders! So delicious! Could taste that it was fresh, frame grilled, it was spicy and a bit tangy, beautiful food! The chicken was so tender and succulent and the rice alone was spicy and fragrant! Will be eating at Pepe's again! A bit pricy, but that's all I can say.

Ordered from here for home delivery didn't receive most of the food and when asked for a compensation we were told that they don't have drivers to do that. If you want true Pope's experience, order from a different branch.

I usually enjoy Pepe’s food, especially the Chicken XL or the wrap, but the service at this branch is honestly disappointing. Whenever I’ve ordered online, the food arrives burnt or just doesn’t meet the same quality as when it’s prepared for in-store collection. Even when I collect in person, I end up waiting ages for my food. The service feels like they’re taking their time and not in a rush for you despite waiting a long time. This happens even at off-peak times. I’ve never had this issue at any other Pepe’s branch—just this one. It’s frustrating because the food itself is good, but the experience really lets it down. Not worth my time anymore.

Worst experience of my life. Ordered on UberEats at 5.40pm. Food turned up over an hour later - chicken burnt and hard, and soggy, undercooked chips. One of the chips were missing so I contacted them. They said they would send 3 chips. 8pm they had still not arrived. I was simply told we are very busy. I was then hung up on after being spoken to rudely. Awful customer service. When the chips did finally turn up (who eats a burger and chips over an hour apart) they were soggy and undercooked again. Avoid this branch!

Ordered over phone was told 20 mins wait, went down 30 mins after giving them extra time, when speaking to counter guy i was told wait atleast another 10 mins as they would start the chicken now, store was empty and they seemed more focused on deliveries than actual customers in shop! one guy was aggressive and another one of his staff had to stop him by putting his hand on his chest to calm him down, after that i was annoyed said dont bother putting in that chicken and walked out! Cheerio never again! Worst Pepes by far!!
