Absolutely love Boopathi! We’ve been there multiple times and every single time the food has been incredible. The flavors are authentic, rich, and full of that amazing Sri Lankan touch. They even delivered the food to us, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the whole experience even better. Delicious food. The staff were also super friendly and suggested items for us to try. There were no empty tables (on a Monday night) so obviously very popular!

This is the second time I’ve ordered and they’ve forgotten the same thing. Kids chicken nugget and chips and they always forget the chips. Other than this, I love bootpathi’s food, but might have to stop ordering kids meals as they’re never complete

Visited this restaurant recently, and I must say the service was exceptional—10/10, far beyond my expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was full with flavour and absolutely worth the price. Definitely recommend place to visit. I’ll be coming back soon. It’s the perfect spot for great vibes and top food. My new favourite Indian restaurant.

My friend and I called in to this restaurant early on Sunday and were very impressed. The chef/manager greeted us and then helped us choose our meal as we hadn’t eaten Sri Lankan food before. The food was excellent and at a very reasonable price, too.

Can’t fault customer service or anything however they did get my order wrong (chicken instead of lamb) I called up and asked for the right item and they sent it out and apologised and gave me a free dessert. Other than that the korma was incredibly spicy, almost inedible. I couldn’t eat it and nor could anyone else I was with. This must have been a mistake because the butter chicken was perfectly mild. I actually mistook the butter chicken for the korma because itwas yellow and the korma was red

This restaurant foods are so delicious and the customer service is great. They talk to you kindly and it is clean and the floors and tables are clean. Best restaurant I have seen. The decorations is amazing like heaven and wow the painting is great. Come to this restaurant and you would like it and want to eat there every time. They also can make food for parties and celebrations.There team is very patient and kind and very helpful.

The first time we went here the food was delicious and service great we thought WOW a local place if we ever wanted to get curry. ordered chicken chetinad curry which was gorgeous Dosa was lovely Low and behold the Second time we went there the food was not the same. Fish Fry Starter - No Flavour. we asked for some sauce and they made some fried tomato and masala sauce which burnt the throat Dosa Masala was over spiced and very dark Biriyani had 2 pieces of meat (but they did give another so thanks for that) Third Time i took my mum as on the second time the owner said there was a new chef as his previous one was on holiday. So we went back and said the normal chef was back. Ordered Chicken Chettinad Curry and oh my god it was not edible. We are indians and love spicy food but this was just spice flavoured there was no authenticity about it. we didnt eat it. the Chana and Parotta were decent and nice to eat. There is no kind of common courteousy they dont even take the food off the bill which was unedible. It is a very quiet restaurant so im not surprised they probably need the money to keep it open. Im sure there are plenty of people who love this food, but this is just an honest review There is no consistency at this place im sorry to say.Three times we have tried this and i dont think we will be going back.

Portion of fries were small, filled up 1/4 of the pack. Only a few chicken pieces in the biriyani. Overall nothing was tasty and not worth the money. Do not recommend and would not order again. Only positive aspect was the delivery time.

Amazing Hospitality and great Service. Best Medhu Vadai we ever had so far in West Midlands. Kothu Porotta is a must try, great portion sizes and value for Money. Highly Recommend if you are in Birmingham!

The best Sri Lankan food that I’ve had in the UK, as a Sri Lankan. Great value for money with good sized portions at very reasonable prices. Food is also Halal so a fantastic option for Muslims

Visited this evening and everything was Perfect!! Ordered Gobi Manchurian Chilli Paneer Mysore Dosa Uttampam All was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I've ordered deliveroo from here a few times which is why we wanted to try in dining too. I did not disappoint.

I really liked the food , the authenticity and taste also the behaviour of the staff and the chef was very kind. If you really want to try authentic South Indian food around Birmingham this is the best place to go.

Celebrated a small family birthday here purely because we love authentic south indian/ Sri Lankan cuisine. Travelled from Worcester just for this treat! Their parottas are dosas are brill! They were kind enough to set up a table for a little cake cutting too! Lovely people, lovely restaurant. Deffo recommend!

Today was our second visit in 2 months! A place to visit for Srilankan / South Indian food... The place is clean and tidy. Kannan and his team are good hosts. The first time we visited, based on reviews, was on my son's birthday. On finding out about the birthday , they immediately tidied up some party decorations, and my son had a surprise cake cut!! We surely are going to be regular visitors to Boopathi's. Thank you.

I ordered Idli, Vada and Veg Biryani. I called them twice to request extra sambhar. Offering to pay extra because it’s not on the menu. And was promised there would be enough. However, I received my order with perhaps 200ml of Sambar, for 12 Idli and 6 Vada No raita included for Biryani. So basically an incomplete order. When I called the restaurant, they said I’d have to pay for Uber delivery (AGAIN) for the incomplete order. And to top it all, even though I never said a rude word (I’ll admit my tone was disappointed) the staff hung up on me. Twice. Food actually tastes good. But I think the staff need some extra training in how to speak to customers. Extremely disappointing. EDIT: I received a phone call from the owner and a free delivery to rectify the mistakes. They didn’t even know at that point that I’d given a 1 star review. I won’t change the star rating or what I wrote earlier. But I’ll definitely order again. Anyone can make a mistake. Acknowledging a mistake is a key part of running a business with good customer service

I tried mutton biriyani, chicken tosa, those taste so good for a very reasonable price, highly recommended and all are invited to taste delicious Sri Lankan and Indian dishes. Staff is very friendly.

Ordered two uttamps and only 3 chutneys given. Would expect 3 chutneys per uttapam order and not 3 chutneys to cover two uttapams. The sambar was only less than half full in container. Again, would have expected 2 full sambar's per uttampam. Toppings were also missing on special uttapam

Beautiful authentic Sri Lankan tamil food!

Wow! Plenty of parking. Walked in and pleased to see through the kitchen and staff wearing hair nets and gloves. Nice clean cosy place. The food! Wow. Perfect. First time I had Sri Lankan food and absolutely amazed. The mix kothu roti was my favourite and the chicken curry was very good too. The mutton rolls so nice and the fish cutlets. Everything was just perfect. Thank you. Good service too.

Was driving pass this area, as I live quite local near this shop and came across it, so I decided to give it a shot and I can reassure now I have no regret about purchasing anything from here. I was recommended by a friend who had ordered from here previously and had told me that it was brilliant, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a Chicken Tika Masala, Pilau Rice, Nanbread and a drink and everything was absolutely mouth watering. This will now be my new Indian takeaway and I am incredibly glad my friend had recommended it to me.
