Was absolutely gutted when our food arrived. I love Penningtons usually however I won’t get a delivery again. Bacon , eggs and sausage all extremely greasy. Barn fell to bits and bacon undercooked.

Both breakfast batons were absolutely bang on. 10/10

Well run, friendly atmosphere, three staff in the kitchen area all busy, and a person behind the counter taking orders and passing them through a serving hatch to the kitchen staff. Then when orders have been processed he quickly checks the orders and ensures its right checking with the customer as he takes payment, cash or card and hands over the order apologising if they've had to wait. It seems a very busy place. PS the food we ordered was very tasty.

OMG this is the place to come get some awesome food, first time here, came all the way from southport after hearing so many good things about this place, it was busy when we arrived so that was a good sign, the smells were making me more hungry than I already was, So we got 2xbacon and sausage batons, 1x hot sausage roll (homemade) 1x pork pie 1x millionaire short bread Wow wow wow this is the best food I've had in a while, the homemade sausage roll was to die for I will make the trip again just to taste this food, the hustle and bustle just showed us how popular this shop is, Well done Dan And Lauren for making our first time here awesome keep up the good work also does outside catering too HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Best breakfast sandwich and sausage rolls I've had while working in Preston.

I asked for no mushhrooms.or black pudding for my breakfast and when it came the mushrooms where swimming in black sauce all over my food and had black pudding on top. I couldn't eat it and it due to allergies got binned.

The drivers need to keep the food trays horizontal or your food is everywhere in the tray....Other than that great 👍

Great sandwich shop with very good prices. Food is very good and very good quality and portion sizes. Prices are also very good and reasonable. Dan and Lauren also very friendly and good banter and always willing to help. Would recommend also recommend the Cajun special sandwich.

Sandwiches are great. Would like the option to request brown barm or baton as the default is white. Was looking forward to a mince steak pie which is not what I think I got as it had potatoes in it

We never leave reviews but have been looking for a good breakfast place in Preston since we moved here last year, and have finally found it! Great quality food, all arrived hot and on time. Highly recommend!

Not as good as it used to be, gone down hill since Paul left, ordered a cajun chicken sandwich and Christmas one, Christmas one was okay, well portioned but the cajun chicken was minimul portion and not as tasty

Food wasn’t really that great. Had a pie also that just tasted weird. Egg mayo sandwich however was good but unfortunately won’t order from here again

The best sandwich shop in town is now on Just Eat? Do you hear that? That's the sound of my wallet screaming in terror. Trust me, try the Christmas Special sandwich, you can taste every single element of it. Be warned, though, wear a bib or put some plastic sheets down as it is a gloriously messy experience. Worth the tidying up afterwards though.

A fab little butty shop. Maybe needs more veggie options however we were happy we bought the lady two butter pies. Bit slow at adding mushy peas to the order .

The food is excellent Staff are very friendly Kelly and Lesley are brilliant they lead by example to the younger girls they're also exceptional I'm a wheelchair user and the girls come and take my order I don't go anywhere else for food. Jim

Great food here always. Great selection of home made pies available every day. Doesn't open til 8 am though. Not the cheapest prices but the food is good. Definately recommended.

Chorley road shop. Very slow service. Staff don't acknowledge you when you're waiting. Often have to walk out empty handed due to long wait before being served.

I have changed this review from 5 stars to 3. In the past I would have given 10 stars if possible, but this place has gone downhill recently. It's gone from nice friendly staff working there to women who make you feel like they're doing you a favour but don't want too, they have no customer service at all. The prices change depends who is serving you even though I get the same thing everytime. It's a shame because I really liked this place.

I called in at 2:30pm for a sandwich and it looked like everything had been cleared and cleaned and was told they close soon and offered me a pie instead. On the door it states 3:00pm closing time. Needless to say I disappointingly left empty handed and ended up at bargain booze for a packet sandwich.

I only get 30 mins for my lunch and every time I go to Penningtons, I don't have time to eat because I spend nearly 20 mins to get served. Thought it might get better by being under new management but it happened again today. They need better service and a smile wouldn't do any harm either

Fantastic place, used to go all the time for my lunch, to bad I now work far away :( plenty of choice and can't be the hot sandwich, breakfast is top quality and not greasy at all. Would recommend to anybody in need of filling a spot

Great variety of hot and cold baguettes but can't beat Pauls hotpot with peas, red cabbage and gravy, I have one everything I'm in the area.

Sometimes the food is lovely and sometimes not nice at all. Needs to improve standard of food and listen to what people order. 4/5 times order was made incorrectly.

Had some fantastic food from here over the past few years - always pleasant staff and fully loaded sandwiches stuffed to the brim. Great value tasty fresh and always correct. Good things come to those who wait. Everything is made to order so there can be a queue. There's a queue for a reason though. It's worth the wait!
