Excellent food and presentation. Service was great too. Thorough and on time. Will definitely be going again.

Had heard great things about the food and the quality was exactly as I was expecting - food was very tasty and beautifully cooked. I did, however, think it was expensive for what we got. For context, a portion of onion rings will cost you £1 per onion ring. The onion rings were on the smaller side and they were lovely but a pound per onion ring seems excessive. £15 for loaded fries... again, tasted lovely but expensive for the portion size. Service was okay. A bit slow even though there were more staff than customers but friendly and helpful. Overall more than I want to pay for what we got but I'm not put off giving their subday dinner a whirl!

Came for bottomless brunch with friends on a Sunday. Great selection of food and drinks. Quick service on the drinks. Definitely worth the money

Came for a quick lunch on a Saturday. The food is fantastic. We had burgers which were delicious and a side of fries which were enough for two people. The cocktails here are great too it’s a nice place to drink in an evening. Upstairs there’s a private function room which looks good too.

What's happened at Fat Sams? Nashville chicken burger half its size and charged £6 for a very small portion of 'loaded fries'? Had always got great value and quality from Fat Sams but wont be ordering again unfortunately. The food we received did taste very good but come on, 2x small burgers and 1x loaded fries for 29.50 is extortionate.

I have heard excellent reports of the food and service. My daughter and son in law enjoyed a meal here. I've bever because I am a vegetarian and I dont think that they cater for veggies

Food and service has gone massively downhill in the past 6 months, the burgers are awful, the Nashville chicken burger now is like a Birdseye chicken burger… Food took 45 minutes to come and people who came in after us were getting their food before us. Overall massively disappointed with the past few times I have been, I am not sure if there has been a changeover or what but it needs to go back to how it was!

We had a lovely meal here. The food is fantastic value for money! We were surprised at the bill (in a positive way). Staff are friendly and there is a really nice vibe to the place. 5 stars from me!

Been wanting to try here for a while. The food was good but had much better of this style. The Mac n cheese was superb. Service was ok but feels like they are going to close it down soon as I believe it's for sale.

The food was lovely but I've never experienced such bad service. Only three tables were full. No questions to ask if everything was okay or if we wanted another drink. We had to go get the bill ourselves. Such a shame as it is a lovely place. We won't be going back I'm afraid.

Booked a table a couple of days.in advance when we arrived we were seated next to the window in the bar area. We found it very cold inside and I did not remove my coat throughout the entire visit. The bar area was very busy and shortly after we were seated a large group of men were seated close to us they were very loud , we couldn't hear eachother speak. After they arrived another table of three gents were sat to the opposite side of the large group it was extremely noisy at this point and wasn't a particularly pleasant experience. The food arrived and it really was very average nothing to rave about my husband ordered the halloumi burger and I ordered the chicken burger. He was still peckish after he finished his meal so I shared my fries with him. The cocktails were nice but very very small glasses I finished one in four sips. Expensive for what they were two for £12 really was a rip off!! We ordered two desserts and cappuccino's we had to wait a long time for the hot drinks to arrive but the waiter did apologies. Overall I certainly won't be going back there anytime soon. Portions were very small and we were even charged for mayonnaise which really does baffle me as to why we have to pay extra for condiments. Gutted we were sat in the bar area right beside a window and felt cold from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We couldn't wait to get the heating on in the car to warm up. Such a shame as we were looking forward to our meal out and left feeling very disappointed ☹️

Burger is very juicy, good place to have a lunch before watch a football game in County Ground. It should be note that this restaurant is cash only, but there is a free ATM of ASDA next to the restaurant, you can get cash there very convenient.

After three failed attempts to eat here due to them closing at, 19.30 19.15 and finally 19.00 We decided to visit after a gruelling medical conference, to treat ourselves. Sadly we were greeted by an empty establishment, where we had to bring ourselves to the attention of the staff. We were then seated and left after a ten minute delay our drink order was taken. The server seemed surprised thar we were ready to order our food. This been the fact we had waited to be served, we had investigated the menu thoroughly. The brisket burger turned up and was underwhelming, to such a point the bun had sweated and stuck to the metal plate. There no explosion of taste, given this was supposed to bbq experience. My wife's wrap turned on a metal just by itself. No dressing pr salad , nothing to enhance the meal. As worked in Liege, I was ecstatic to see the served Liege waffles. But what I was presented with was a rewarmed waffles, drowning in toffee sauce. If I could give a zero I would, as agreived that this food extravaganza, which cost me £65 quid, was only fit for the bucket 🪣 We had to prompt for the check as the waiter was more interested in flirting with a boss My advice is STAY AWAY

Fantastic service, tasty food and good value for money

First time at Fat Sam’s and disappointed beyond belief: Food - alright Service - poor Response from management regarding service feedback - appalling Table booked for 8 people at 7:30pm yesterday. Unfortunately, one of our party was too poorly to join us. Order taken at 7:45, food arrived 50 minutes later at 8:35. Food is apparently made fresh to order, no qualms here, but it’s just fast food and salads - burgers and chips are generally prepared before service…hardly a slow cooker lamb casserole from scratch. Drinks service also slow, however the server did apologise, stating they had to change the Coke post mix. No issues here. However, following on from this, no second drinks were offered (missed sales opportunity) nor check to see how the meal was. Server brought the second round of drinks, but didn’t take away the empties, meaning the table was becoming slightly cluttered. However, when they came back, they took away some of our plates…before everyone at our table had finished eating. No dessert menu offered. Again, another missed sales opportunity as we didn’t chase this up as we previously did for drinks. Condiments not offered. A few of us asked for mayonnaise and ketchup. These were unknowingly charged at 50p per sauce, for a small squirt (ironically in a tub no bigger than a 50p). When the additional charge was questioned at the till, we were told it was on the menu (who expects ketchup to be an additional cost, stated in the small print??). Party wasn’t told it was cash only on arrival (apparently it’s on the website…but again, who checks??). Apparently the “card terminal has numerous problems for staff and customers”…suggestion to seek professional assistance for repair for the benefit of your staff and customers (especially if there are additional hidden costs, that might not be factored into a cash sale). When the above was raised with management, instead of the usual, (professional) approach - an apology and then move on, the manager asked for details so they could watch 2.5 hours of CCTV footage to record the timings of service, as if to disprove the complaint. By the managers own account, it took 50 minutes for food to arrive which is deserved of a basic apology in itself. It should also be noted that they state the table booking was for 7:30 and not 7:45, as they claim, which can be evidenced with the digital booking confirmation. The manager goes on to almost scold us, the customer, by saying “the booking was made for 8 people but just 7 people dined” and then the cherry on the top of a terrible response to very fair feedback, provided in a private space via Facebook messenger, rather than a public post, was the following “apology”, which has quite honestly left me flabbergasted: “I would like to apologise that the waiting times weren’t up to your standard and a little slow for food, please appreciate we had 38 people upstairs & also busy downstairs & takeaway orders.” 50 minutes for food. My standard is THE standard anywhere else…I’ll be enjoying some free mayo elsewhere next time and I implore others to do the same. A real shame as Fat Sam’s had potential to be a regular midweek trip for our group.

First time coming here and the food was nice but we waited ages for someone to even take our order, we waited a very long time for drinks and then another long wait for food! The service was shocking I was even told I would have to wait before being seen as they were too busy doing something at the bar… there was no one else but me and the restaurant wasn’t full… For what you pay yes the food is nice but the service definitely does not match and isn’t worth the price you pay…..

Food was good as always but I'm so disappointed to say the service has really gone downhill. We waited ages for our drinks and then again for food. The lack of card machine is ridiculous.... not sure why it's been "broken" for so long. Are they trying to fiddle the books? And charging 50p for mayo and ketchup. I know we're in a cossie living crisis but come one!

One of the nicest places to eat out in Leyland. Love it here, however it is cash only which is a faff.

Quality of food over all has singnificantly dropped since our last visit in the past 8 months. Takeaway standard at best in a dine in restaurant just aint right. Felt absolutely robbed this round. Will go Manhattan next time.

11 of us visited first time. The service was excellent and if you are burger fan then this is the place for you! Food was fabulous and everything came out at the same time. The best halloimi fries and I am a burger fan, I'd say it was the best burger I have had! All the meals were spot on and potion sizes good. Cocktails also great value two for £12. We will definitely return it was really good.

Beautiful place, good food and friendly staff

Food was overpriced, and average, service was awful, no one was rude just completely absent. Ordered drinks, which we'd almost all finished before food arrived, that was it that was the last contact with any staff, no 'is everything ok?' no 'can I get you another drink?' It wasn't particularly busy, and there appeared to be enough staff to cope. After being sat for 30 minutes with empty plates looking around for someone to either offer dessert or the bill we eventually had to go and find a manger of staff to pay. Very disappointing experience

This establishment is an established venue in Leyland. The inside offers a unique setting with an hint or industrialist meets open plan, high steel tables with copper edge trim, steel vents, filament lighting and booths to seat 6 people. I have to honest there was a hint of stickiness to the tables and the menus left a tackiness to the touch, which was a little undesirable, however we put it down to a delay in wiping down tables and menus and processed to order Sunday Lunch. The beef was in a pot with a crumble type topping, and the chicken was a garlic and herb marinade. Both dishes accompanied by roasted carrots and parsnips, along with broccoli, roasties and gravy. At £14.95 for a single course you could be excused for thinking it may be on the high side for lunch when others offer two other three courses for a few quid more. However, the food was outstanding, cooked to perfected, pleasing on the eye, and taste fantastic. A very very nice Sunday lunch indeed. Well done chef.

Ordered via Uber, didn't send 75% of the order. Confirmed it wasn't Ubers fault. Would love to say the food was good but unfortunately they only sent the lemonade... Edit: saw their reply about how they'd appreciate it if I contacted them before leaving a bad review. 1. I ordered via Uber, I complained via Uber. 2. I'd appreciate it if I received what I ordered in the first place and didn't have to do any of this, the cheek of these guys.

Came on Saturday the 17th feb , and was served by Katie and she did a fantastic job. She was so lovely and made the experience even better, even though she was the only staff member upstairs could have done with someone to help her but did an amazing job anyway. Thank you very much

The food was nice but the service was extremely poor. I will keep this brief and succinct. I visited Fat Sam’s on Sunday 11th Feb 2024 as part of a group of 10 (7 adults 3 children). When we arrived we were not given the warmest of welcomes which turned into the theme for the remainder of our visit . Once our drinks came we were never asked if we would like to order any more drinks despite the food arriving amongst 10 empty glasses. We assumed the waitress would return to check all was well once everyone had food and we would then be asked about drinks…..this was surprisingly not the case. Once the table was cleared of the plates we were never asked about desserts, coffees or drinks. Instead we were left for 30 mins with empty glasses and no further communication from any of the staff. We requested the bill which had a 5% service charge added. Normally we would be happy to pay a service charge however the service we received during our visit was non existent. We did ask for the service charge to be removed with a honest respectable explanation which the chap behind the bar seemed perplexed about and did not offer any kind of apology. Compliments to the chef as the food was lovely but sadly the front of house staff let Fat Sam’s down. We won’t be returning.

Had the pleasure of dining a few times here at Fat Sam's always been nice . But today had the Sunday dinner and wow its one of the best I've had . Great portion very filling . Full of flavor and top quality produce serves and presented exceptionally well . Really good value for money for such high quality of food and flavor . Well done . People if you love a sunday dinner and want a meal above and beyond the normal standards this is the place !

I went here with my boyfriend for a little NYE celebration, there was a 2 for £12 cocktail deal on which we thought was great. We ordered two mango daquiris (out of a selection of raspberry, strawberry and there was another one but I have forgotten) while we thought about our food choices and it was 10/10! We then ordered our food - I got the Cajun Wrap and fries and my boyfriend got the Southern Fried Loaded Fries - we both agreed our meals were fabulous, although the wrap got a bit messy as it was leaking juice. For rounds 2 and 3 of drinks, we got strawberry mojitos and I got an espresso martini, and him a pint of beer. I think the mojitos were a bit underwhelming and a lot of ice for one drink, but I don't really like mojitos anyway so not much criticism there and I enjoyed the espresso martini. Server was very attentive and lovely despite us coming at around 7.30pm on a Sunday, and the staff who we paid for our bill with were just as nice. Great general vibe also, cool lighting, but did think music was a bit hit or miss.

Fat Sam's is in a good location for passing trade, the food is good but I found it difficult to justify the price for what you got. We had the chicken sandwich and shared a bowl of chips which came to over £20, drinks were also relatively hefty: £3:20 for half an IPA and £5 for a medium Merlot. A 5% service charge is automatically added to the bill, this can be dropped but you have to ask. If you book a table there is a charge for a "no show". All in all this is not the sort of pricing/business policy that is usual in Leyland, but I guess it suits some people!

Lovely! Clean place with nice atmosphere - servers were very friendly - food was excellent (grilled chicken and Caesar salad). In my view this place is really quite cheap for what you get - especially the fabulous cocktails! Would like a few more non burger options but otherwise really impressed !

Decided to have our Christmas do here and booked online. Arrived and was greeted by very friendly staff. Had a great meal and as I was driving had a couple of mocktails which is a better alternative to the regular soft drinks. Despite being very busy our food arrived quickly. Parking is on street or the nearest car park is Eckroyd St which is behind the market only 5 minutes walk. This might be something we did not see on the booking but there was a time limit for us having the table. We were asked with about 20 minutes to go to vacate. I can understand at busy times as the business needs to turnover tables and get maximum use however I would have liked this to be clearer on the booking. We ended up in the Market Ale House nearby for final drinks.

Lunchtime booking. Although quiet with just a handful of diners, the atmosphere was relaxing. The food could not be faulted. (I ordered Falafel wrap with seasoned chips). Service was very good from a friendly and professional staff member. A very positive experience from start to finish & I will most definitely be recommending to family and friends.

It was our first time at Fat Sam's tonight, and sadly, it will be our last. We arrived at 21.30 to be shown to a booth, we ordered our drinks and food great start. I ordered a starter and a main, my wife ordered a main. The starter came, then approx 30 seconds later the main came. No questions asked - are you ready for the main course, just put down in front of us. My wife ordered a chicken wrap no mayo, the food cane with mayo on, I had to go and find a waitress to ask them if they could remake the food. Foodd drinks finished, and then the waitress asked if everything was okay with your meal. I didn't have the heart to say no. Went to pay for the meal, paid in full.l notice a 5% service charge added, please advise why as this be discretionary. Both my wife and I will be attending again, and we will not be recommending Fat Sam's to friends and family. I look forward to your reply

Using the Function room upstairs for a Christmas Party our host Lydia was amazing at keeping the drinks coming and making sure my bank account was going down, was a great night and we will hopefully be back soon

Our first experience at Fat Sam’s. Lovely ambience but let down when went to the ladies and one toilet had a faulty flush and only one sink working. Also, cardboard in a corridor on the floor. Not a good look to be fair. My husband never likes to be negative, but when asked, his only problem was that his plate was too light and spun round on the table whilst eating. My food was absolutely delicious. Bit of a mixed review but we certainly can’t fault the food. Will definitely come back.

Wow! The Christmas lunch we had today was absolutely incredible. The starters were yummy but the main course was on another level! The beef crumble was divine, as was the confit turkey. And the veg?…. Heavenly sprouts, delicious carrots and parsnips, plentiful crunchy roasties, all enveloped in a yummy gravy. I literally could eat this meal everyday!!!

We went here for my grandson’s birthday meal. I ordered chicken wings for my starter. I bit into one particularly tough wing and wondered what I was eating. It turned out to be a chicken’s throat. I sent the food back and was offered a replacement which I rejected. The main courses were okay but expensive. Scandalously we were charged extra for sauces such as ketchup and mayonnaise. The price of the wings was taken off the bill but there was no offer of a free drink or dessert as compensation. We won’t be going back.

Went for a meal on Saturday 25th Nov. 3 of us, walked in, seated straight away. Food was overall great! Couldn’t fault it, but service was lacking, it was good, but not incredible. Had to wait 20 mins to order drinks. After this we then had to wait a further 40 minutes to order food (we ended up going up and asking someone to take our order as no one was coming over!) Food and drinks were really good, our table had a couple of cocktails, milkshakes and soft drinks. I did feel bad for the staff as they had a table in which seemed to be quite hardwork, wouldn’t stop shouting, screaming, and being rude to the staff. I work in hospitality, as management. So this made me frustrated, never mind the poor girls who had to keep asking them to be quiet! Once we had the bill, a lady came over (hadn’t seen her at all this evening) came over and asked us for our ID’s. We didn’t hesitate and game them her as she requested but it’s like she was going to try and ID us for the cocktails we had already been ID’d for after we drank them?!🤣 She (who I’m guessing was manager?) also didn’t know the year of ID should be? And after looking at my ID for a few mins still had to ask me my age? But had my ID in her hand? I’ve worked in restraunts for 5 years and been in management for them for nearly 2. Just seemed like there wasn’t any communication? But will return as the food was spot on and I understand pressure on staff.

Party of 23 people for a leaving doo at work. We were in the blue room upstairs which is an ideal area for a large party with its own bar. Everyone said the food was amazing not one complaint and the staff were lovely especially Lydia who couldn't do enough for us! Would definitely recommend Fat Sam's, I have been here a few times now and always had a good experience. Fabulous food great staff what more could you ask for?

After a little misshap through just eat after 4 days of going round in circles with phone calls and emails I went into the restaurant and was met by the lovely bar manager whose name I can not remember but he went above and beyond trying to help figure out how to rectify the situation in-between serving customers, making phone calls and helping in the back Excellent customers service skills. Even the 2 young ladies were extremely helpfunand chatty. I was then greeted by the manager Sam himself who rectified the situation in an instance. Everyone was extremely apologetic even though the fault was Just Eat and not the restaurant itself. I left very happy 😊 I highly recommend this restaurant and definitely will be ordering direct from them now that I have been shown how to do it properly. So thankyou tonsll the team this evening 🙏 🙌

Below is my first review, but it needs updating... Ive been recently and sadly the burgers are not as good as i recall, its still homemade, but they were lacking in seasoning and were very dense, like the chef over handled them... Also I didn't appreciate their lack of description in their poutine... we paid +£7 for some cheesy chips with Brisket gravy.. no cheese curds.. they claim its hard to source. I found some EASILY online with next day delivery and made my own, so no, that's bull, call a spade a spade, they're using that word to get people to buy it. At least describe your "take" on it. I went in a while ago with my dad at opening one morning. It took ages for the food to arrive and for general service. We were both disappointed. I will not be going again. Old review from YEARS AGO. We booked a table for 3 on a saturday afternoon, the cocktails are delicious and well presented and FINALLY LEYLAND HAS REAL BURGERS! Steak burgers to boot. Their philly cheese steak fries with brisket held so much flavour, really tasty cheese sauce too! Love that they use a local butchers and make their burgers from chuck and brisket. They are delicious and well worth the money, its good homemade food, cooked fresh. We will go again for sure, can't fault the staff, waiting times or the food.

Would leave a minus rate if I could. Ordered over £100 worth of food to be delivered received less than half of the order!! Rang Fat Sams to see if the rest could be delivered told NO! Its not our fault its down to Just Eat!! REALLY??!! The driver goes in to collect so NO its Fat Sams fault as they didnt send out the correct order!! Therefore FAT SAMS FAULT!! Manager useless when tried to explain didnt even ask what was missing only what we received! Said we could pick up why when the others had tgeir food and statred eating. My advice dont order food from Fat Sams for delivery. TRUELY TERRIBLE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!! DONT ORDER FOOD FROM FAT SAMS I WONT AGAIN OR EVEN EAT THERE AGAIN. Usual response would be "Im very sorry ill send it out right now with freebies".

The food was nice at the time , me and my friend shared the loaded fries with chicken strips however we were both sick during the night and the next day unfortunately which is a shame as it is a nice place but would put me off going again

I have supported fat sams as a business since it opened, and have always found their food to be the best burger in town by far….however and this is a very sad however, unfortunately I will No longer be ordering food nor going to dine in. The prices have gone up (which they have to) but amount you get for said price has decreased. £11.50 for a chicken burger (not including fries) and for that you get a tiny bun and 1 piece of chicken. You used to get 2 pieces of chicken and fries for roughly the same price. For that now it is £16.50. You can’t say the quality has dropped because is absolutely hasn’t. But for me the price doesn’t Warrant the food.

Came with few friends for Brunch. Welcomed by a nice gent (didn't take his name!) He was very polite and attentive, and a great cocktail maker. However whilst we was there they got more young staff on, none of them smiled, all seemed miserable and need to work on customer service as they didn't even talk! Very poor to say the least. Also the drinks didn't taste as good when the others made them too? Not much ice in the drinks and just too sweet. Food- was absolutely amazing, plenty on the loaded fries option, very tasty! Drinks- for the Brunch option, I thought that it was very poor in comparison to other places. Nice decor though, and very clean. If I was to return, I'd probably not do the Brunch.

Sat in with my significant other for lunch. We were shown to our table and this was the last communication we had with the staff as we waited 15 minutes and no one came over to take our drinks order. This is also despite other patrons entering after us and having their order taken. It was at this point we decided to leave. On that day we arrived at about 13:30 and it wasn't very busy. The bar person was too busy on his phone to notice us waiting to be served. When we did get his attention he finished texting whomever before slowly making his way over. The barman Leon I think(bearded chap) look at us like we were inconveniencing him, so I said "Sorry mate you can carry on doing what you were doing, I think we came to the wrong place". His response was oh ok & he went back to texting on his phone. It wasnt the friendly prompt service I was expecting. Last few times I had been in I was served by a very polite & friendly chap with longish curly hair and I promised I would leave a review for him and completely forgot. If I remember right his name was Ewan and he was great. Prompt, friendly and helpful. If this guy Leon has replaced him I wont be going back in there, he was ignorant and rude. Leon and Ewan are like Chalk & cheese couldn't be more different.

Was pricey but you're paying for premium dinning, the quilty of the food was lovley one of the best burgers I've ever had...only draw back was the 5% added service tip which is added on i know you can take it off but think shouldn't be on there as it's more of a American tradition but that's the only thing the staff was lovely and polite will return.

I rang, asked if we could book a table outside as it was a nice night & I was told we didn’t need to book. Arrived to then be told there’s no table service outside? Also wish I’d read the reviews before we’d chosen to dine here as we agreed all the staff need training in customer service, none of them smile or are welcoming. The strawberry daiquiris are the cheapest of the cheap, fizzy strawberry flavoured juice. No fruit purée & since when has a strawberry daiquiri been fizzy? My steak was fatty & all the meals were overly salty. And no we didn’t say anything at the time because we didn’t feel welcome from the start and now reading the comments you don’t seem to take anything negative well anyway.

Bit on the pricey side as mine cost £22 total but actually very very fantastic food, large halloumi fries, chips and seasoning heavenly and moreish, and the burger was just amazing. Worth the cost! Will come back again next time I'm in Leyland.

Had the bottomless brunch. Great food and service with a smile. Cocktails were tasty and came quickly as soon as you finished one

Rather strange and disappointing visit. I hate giving negative reviews but proffer this as constructive criticism in the hope it brings about some positive change. We booked a table online for the seven of us on the occasion of our 40th Ruby Wedding Anniversary just for drinks. On arrival wearing our Ruby Wedding sashes etc., we were greeted by a young lady who didn't smile once. The cocktails were ok to be fair. Reasonable value for money. When we registed online there was a 20% off code which my wife had on our phone. On arrival we mentioned this and the girl advised this would be sorted when we paid. Things then got stranger. On paying my wife reiterated regards this code. The staff knew nothing about this. My wife was then asked to go into the kitchen to show 'Sam' the code. She was told it was not applicable. We have double checked and no where does it state what one can use it for or when, so presumably it applies per se to everything. Anyhow said 'Sam' was very rude, told girl to bring phone across to him on other side of kitchen, phone taken out of wife's hands etc. etc. On departure a much nicer young lady with dark hair asked if all had been ok? My wife politely answered that it had not been great and she had never been asked to take her phone into a kitchen before. Being fair this young lady was apologetic. Nothing was knocked off the bill and it was not mentioned a service charge had been added. If we had known we would certainly have asked for this to be cancelled off. We will not be returning. I just wish I had read the reviews before I wrote this one. I just hope the owners read these and accept them as honest fair narratives. As stated I love to see a local business thrive but this was really poor. Just hope things improve here. Spoilt the occasion a little to be fair. Not returning until reviews improve.

Came here after having to get a refund at the gables due to shocking food, fat sams was delicious, hot and fresh with excellent service from all staff!

We just left Leylands fat sams, absolutely awful food, so dissapointed. Three of us we had two portions of chicken bites two portions of philly cheese steak fries and chicken wings Portion sizes were great n drink was nice, waitress was pleasant but the food was really terrible Chicken bites were rock hard were barly any chicken filling Chicken wings were dry n not succulent at all, both covered in generic shop bought sauces that added nothing, could of done alot better at home for a fraction of the price! Despite being covered in cheese the fries and brisket was very bland Looks good on pictures but zero taste, will never go again Best way to describe it was this food in no way was made with love or effort

Had a lovely meal great food but was made even better by a member of staff called Jess who was so lovely recommend to everyone staff fab food amazing xx

Sadly we had prebooked but when we arrived there was a private function in the main restaurant so we had to go upstairs. There was very little atmosphere up there. Had we known about the function we would not have booked… it should be made clear to us on booking. There was confusion with our bill and we were left sitting for a good 10 minutes after our meal.

Brilliant food and service. This place was our go to during lockdown for delivery (collection!) And have been several times since lockdown. Will definitely visit again.

They made space for me to eat at the bar, despite being fully booked. Very good chicken wings, covered in lovely sauce. Highly recommended this place!

Dear Mr Sam, Firstly please disregard Ashley Pilkington's review, how anyone cannot like chicken is beyond me! (a child is less fussier!) We are regulars at your establishment, usually once a month on a Friday and myself and 2 other work colleagues (Ashley also on the odd occasion) always get the chicken loaded fries with gravy which is just simply Michelin star level in our eyes and always does the job for fulfilling our needs. We always say we will try something else....but we never do as the loaded chicken fries are that good! Keep up the good work and we cluck forward to dinning with you in the near future. Visited recently for the first time with my friend, had a lovely evening... good service, great food, and amazing cocktails that were made and served soon after we were seated by a very friendly young barman called Ewan. Will definitely be back and highly recommend 🥂🍹🍸👌🏼 👍🏻 😊

Every time I go here it is great, the staff are really nice, the food is also lovely. Also really like the recently implemented loyalty scheme.

After we sat down we waited a while for drinks. And then little things like asking for no ice and they came with ice. And then after my food came there was a hair on my burger, after somebody came to check up on I told them and there was no apology she just took the plate and said they was making me a new one which I didn’t really want so I declined that. Then my friend was still eating and they just came and said “do u want the bill”. Anyway instead of showing me the bill she just came with the machine and said just tap it in the back. Didn’t tell me how much it was so I had to ask and she said £40. So after she read it out I guess it clicked to her that I probably shouldn’t be paying for that burger so she went to take it off and then came back with the new price £26. There was still no apology about it so I paid and left

It was all brilliant. 10/10. Workers are polite and respectful and the food was amazing. Needs to stream Jynxzi though !

Shocking service, went with my 2 grown up children and partners and their own 3 children for drinks and food..... we didn't get to even order food as it took 30 minutes + to finally serve our drinks even after going in again twice to remind them. Absolutely shocking to treat customers like this, hence we didn't order food. We didn't get an apology or the offer of free drinks. Our round was over £25, worst money spent fat Sams! Deeply disappointed. It wasn't even busy although there was a party going on upstairs.

The food was really good but very poor service. We was waiting ages to order drinks than food. Another 20min for drinks to arrive. Such a shame as the restaurant and food was amazing

It's in our high street so we visit whenever we fancy eating out It's a nice pub Good place to chill after a week's work Good thing they have promo for their cocktails for you to enjoy It gets busy in the evening You'll wait for the staff to attend to you But they're friendly

Absolutely amazing food! Arrived for a work's dinner and we all had different dishes. Really good value for money and tasty burgers! Will be back again soon. Shout out to Lennon and our server who made us feel welcome.

We was waited on by jess tonight at fat Sam's she was polite friendly and made us feel comfortable.. food was amazing like always!! Always love coming here highly recommended
