This place is a hidden gem the selection of drinks is amazing so much choice and the food was dynamite the owner and bar staff are friendly polite and professional we will definately return thankyou.

Always great food and great people that run it aswell.

Just found this place and WOW!!!! Absolutely beautiful best takeaway ever & we have eaten quite a few our delivery driver JOSHUA was really lovely and bang on time thankyou rolled up on his motor bike lovely pleasant lad we will definitely be ordering again everything was so fresh & just the right amount of spices FABULOUS XX

. Edible. Onion baiji tasted unusual. Not had one like it before. Spicy flowery. Then the mains were just sauce with a few bits of chicken. To the eyes it wasn't appealing. Photo says it all. Bowls of sauce. The flavour was there, but a bowl of sauce in a cereal bowl wasn't what I was hoping for. If it was better presented then maybe an extra star. Taste begins with the eyes. Server was friendly. Was expensive for what it was. 100% wouldn't go again.

We have done Indian takeouts from Penash multiple times- it has always been spot on. We have tried several dishes from here- chicken lollipop, manchurian chicken, paneer tikka masala, fried rice, lamb rara, naans, etc. Everything was delicious! My husband’s favorite is the lamb rara, and mine is chicken manchurian. Planning to try many other dishes very soon. The owner is also a really friendly gentleman. Very highly recommend!

Had meal new year's eve fantastic mixed meat platter to share chicken tikka best I have ever had then chicken sag out of this world lamb rogan great as well whold thoroughly recommend

Food itself is ok, staff friendly and attentive: but very disappointed that there are no chefs specials: just a very standard menu and a bit dated now .... the starters were very large portions, so ended up bringing most of the main course home, but didnt eat it ... the Biriyani doesnt come with a veg curry, just a minty raita: very odd, but told this is Bangladesh authentic cuisine: it was just a plate of vegetable rice... Sorry, wont be returning.

Food is definitely better than what it was. Since the new chef has taken over there has been a change in taste to a more Indian flavour than the usual Bangladeshi taste in the other so called Indian restaurants. Does not look flashy. It's a pub and a B&B based restaurant.

Ordered a takeaway charged restaurant prices for the worst tasteless Indian I've ever had.

First time ordering food from Penash and certainly won’t be the last. Amazing food and incredible service. Couldn’t fault a thing. Will definitely be back!

Excellent takeaway and very friendly service

This is our second meal at the penash Indian restaurant, the restaurant seems to be linked to the Croxdale inn, and some over night lodging of some kind, either way we have to commend the restaurant with giving it five stars, nice quiet place with a friendly professional waiter whom did a great job, this is our second time now with four different meals between the two of us, every meal was very tasty indeed, we’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Spectacular My all time favourite restaurant is thankfully now fully open for sit-downs and take-aways. From service with a smile, to exquisite Indian Cuisine that puts a smile on your face, the Penash Restaurant at Croxdale Inn is second to non! The whole experience speaks of an “Authenticity” that very few can match. The food is exceptional from the first aromas to the first sight, and then the first taste…. Ahh! The delicate balance of spices in each dish are delightful, delicious and uplifting, with each mouthful a perfect note making each meal a symphony on the palate. The chefs at Penash are Inspirational Culinary Rockstars. Wholeheartedly Recommended!

Lovely Chicken Korma & Chicken Jalfrezi last night couldn't fault it.

Absolutely disgusting never again will I order from here it went it the bin, sauce was like water and tasted nothing like what its meant to what a waste of £40 so expensive you'd expect a decent meal !!!

We had the sharing meat platter for 2 for starters which was delicious..Lamb Tikka Mossalla was very tasty and the garlic naan waa exceptional probably the nicest one ive ever had. staff were very friendly.will definitely be returning

The best lamb chop and lamb biryani I have ever had! It was very delicious. Very authentic Indian dishes. The chef and the staff were all nice and friendly. Will definitely come regularly. Highly recommend for all of you! 羊排非常棒，有印度和中国味道的结合，出乎意料的好吃，在国外吃到这样的味道真的很温暖很开心，餐馆的人都非常的友好。找到一家可以经常来吃的地方了。下次还会和朋友再尝试别的菜。

Absolutely gorgeous food. Loved the indo-Chinese cuisine. My 2 little boys enjoyed food as well, as it was not very spicy.

Got a take away, prawns were unrecognisable, we were given the wrong sauce and the rest was tasteless or way too spicey. Definitely not worth the money

Comfortable stay with friendly staff

Service was very attentive and the food was top notch. We had the onion bhaji as a starter and shared garlic naan, butter chicken, Chana masala and lamb biryani. All were very very tasty.
