First and last time ordering. Prawn crackers were stale !! Food wasn't warm and not as good as other take aways. Food had a funny taste too it probably been hanging around a long time like the prawn crackers

Had a lovely meal today, the chicken was perfect, some of the reciews on here arent fair and just lokking at previous reviews from the same people, they always complajn and seem to want free food "cost of living" From placing my order to getting my food was amazing, perfect customer service throught the whole process, will definitely use again and again and again, best chinese in aylesbury. Placed order and delivered within the hour, perfect 👌. Thank you peking inn, ignore the negative comments "upset stomach" after a fee hours clearly don't know how long it takes to digest food and get sick from it. You do a fantastic job and the food was amazing today as it always is, will be using you again for my weekend chinese like I have the previous 10 years AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM !!!!

The worst food. I normally have a fantastic experience wit tasty food. Most recently it was stale, no favour and had a ‘weird flavour’ I couldn’t put my finger on it but had a few bites and had throw it away. I’m was gutted, especially in light of the cost of living , I wanted to have a special night with a takeaway, Within hours I was vomiting and felt very poorly. 🤒 I’m so disappointed as I usually order from here but following my recent experience I will not rerturn.

Has to be the worst food ive possibly had from a takeaway the thai red curry was lacking in any flavour apart from chilli the mixed starter had one rib looked like my dog had been chewing on it thrown in the same box as the dried out skewer of satay chicken so we had satay chicken flavoured bbq spare rib which we didnt touch the spring rolls were atleast a week old the sea weed was awful the rich was like mashed potatoes my partners chicken had a smell of gone off chicken which she is now paying the cost of trying a mouthful as she is now up being sick avoid this place total waste of money

Very impressed after trying for the first time, fast delivery, all food arrived piping hot. Decent sized portions and food was delicious. Particularly impressed with the salt and chilli chips, we were pretty sure were homemade. Will definitely be back.

Worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had! Everything is soggy and cold with no flavour! Chilli beef just tastes like flour. What a waste all in the bin Adding to this review me and my wife both have food poisoning from the little bit we ate! Sort yourself out or shut down.

We used to love this place. Back in the day John the owner run a spectacular restaurant and take away . Mum and Dad even came down from Norfolk and had a meal here whilst staying for the weekend. Gave up on it long ago food poor tasteless pricing crazy for what was being served up. Out of desperation thought we would try again tonight cause they deliver. Absolute disaster. Are they trying to be this bad on purpose? Tasteless watery curries . We’re done what a dreadful legacy to Johns great service and service.

Missed one item from my order, so called the restaurant and the guy couldn’t be any nicer. Said he would get the driver to come with the missed dish! Driver turned up about 20 minutes after the order was delivered and was rude! Like it was my fault!

Had Chinese from Peking Inn for many years and always loved it. Pleased to say that remains the case ordering through Just Eat as well! Super tasty as always, definitely recommend! Delivery was late, but only by 5-10 minutes so not an issue :)

what a difference as i was a regular customer from the old Peking inn when the restaurant was open . i ordered some months back and honestly it was horrid and seemed it was made in a back shed ,but yesterdays was fresh and lovely , hope it stays like it !!

Best Chinese take away in bucks

Have just posted a photo ... We are really disappointed. Have used this place for YEARS but just taken delivery to include quarter crispy duck off the bone and received a box that isn't even half full. Never had such a meagre portion. Phoned to complain. They said it was the normal amount which we know from experience is not true. We will not return.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm and friendly service. The menu offered a wide range of options to suit all tastes, and everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with just the right level of background music to create a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Five stars all around!

Awful. Everything cold. Duck was hard, like chewing on twigs. We haven't ordered here for a year or so, I don't know what's happened in that time as it was always great before.

I have been ordering food from here for delivery for years and despite the odd occasion when it has been delivered cold or with bits of scouring pad in the kung po chicken, have been willing to put up with the long delivery times because it's generally pretty good. Normally I'm hungry and don't need to think about ordering enough to meet the minimum £16 value for delivery but today I came up 10p short. 10p. I was told I needed to order something else, but there was nothing else I wanted. I said they could add 10p to the order or I'd be happy to give the 10p to the driver, but no. They insisted I had to order something else. Ordinarily I'm a loyal person but clearly Peking Inn don't value loyalty. While the food is often pretty good it's not worth being treated like a c*nt.

It asks you to peek in on the outside but all you get is funny looks. Excellent tasty food though if you want to actually go in, has got more expensive recently though

Tried to rip us off. We normally always order from here, food is average but service is normally quick. This time we decided to order and they refused to give us the deals that they advertise on their own menu. They refused free delivery and free drink or dish when ordering more tha the specified amount. The food is average but normally compensated by an easy service. Now they have failed that. Never again will we use them.

Showed up to collect an order and found I’d ordered on the phone with another restaurant... not problem though, despite not showing on the menu, they catered for everything we wanted and more- a huge relief as we were ordering all vegan. The salt and pepper tofu with added chilli was the best I’ve ever had. Amazing food and really good prices. Lovely added touch of fortune cookies and prawn crackers. They even sped up my order as I was having to wait in the car for it. Will 100% be going back!

So tonight, we decided to treat ourselves and order Chinese! The lady on the phone was so polite and lovely, said our food could be up to 45 min wait (which is fine!) but arrived in like 20 mins! Even better !! The gent who brought it in his car was lovely also and stuck to social distance rules! Food was amazing and even came with three beers, made my night ;) All in all was the best Chinese take away I’ve had in a long ol time ! Thank you so much will be ordering again soon

100x better than the last time I visited. (This was a long time ago) food was all fresh and hot. Love that they bring the starters and desserts to the table now. I will be visiting again. Keep up the good work guys.

went there on 04/02/20, the food was amazing, dont know why some of these reviews say bland it was far from that, i asked for extra chicken balls and they went and made them really not to much to ask if they have ran out, amazing customer service, go as far as saying best in aylesbury, counter staff were friendly with one guy being very funny. Theres a good option of food, i dont want 400 options when im only going to eat 8 options, this is a company trying to stay a float cook when its needed is better than leaving it for hours sitting there. Chef came and spoke to me and my party of friends who all thought the food,service and counter staff were amazing, all in all a great night, great food,great staff and WILL be going back, some people just moan for a discount!!!! Be honest with your review rather than being a DI%KHEAD!

The staff were nice and the resturant had a nice atmosphere, unfortunately the selection of food is very limited and it didn't seem like the hot plate was turned on beause most of the dishes were cold. There is also an extremely limited selection of desserts (3 that are a part of the buffet price) and they were limited to one per person so they weren't really a part of the buffet. Also, unlike most other buffets, there is no salad bar.

We should have known when we walked in on a Friday night when there was only 2 other people in there. Food was dry, tasteless and disappointing! Staff friendly but poor justification for the poor food.. “we’ve been here for 35 years so we know it’s good” “We’ll do better next time” Unfortunately they won’t get the chance to show us they can do better. Never again! To add insult to injury £38 for 2 people to eat, 1 beer and flat coke.

Have had to edit this review since certain things have changed. The buffet has become smaller with less food available and it was very difficult to find a staff member to get the bill at the end. Prices aren't advertised so you have to guess. For reference, we paid about £20 per person. Used to be much better. Takeaway is still good. Original review: Takeaway is amazing, they do the best peking spare ribs ever. Food always arrives quickly, and hot. Always great service, very friendly, and you can pay by card on the phone. Eating in at the buffet is great, staff are friendly and very helpful, food is fresh and hot, when they've been low on certain foods they've brought some out especially.

So I've been to this place a few times over the years and it used to be very good but my last visit was bad. Firstly they have changed how the 'buffet' works they ask if you want starters then bring out a small platter with 4 spring rolls, 2 peking ribs, 2 prawn toast and 2 satay chicken. They do offer to get you more though you then have to wait for that to be cooked. Secondly since the last time the selection of food has drastically cut down. When we had arrived the food that was out was basically empty and told us they were cooking up more after about half an hour some of the trays had filled up again on top of the previous remains of food. Finally the bill. I had asked one of the staff for the bill after only having 2 plates of food because of the low quality and selection then spent 15 minutes waiting before going and looking for a member of staff as it had appeared we were forgotten about. When the bill had arrived I was a bit horrified to see the costs had shot up. On the menu and no where inside had it mentioned the price or price increase of the buffet, everything else on the menu is priced except it. Which seems rather scummy to me as when we were seated they mentioned the place had changed slightly and I said that I've not been in over a year to which they informed me of the starter change above but nothing of the prices. The member of staff also apologised for food being slow because they had received a lot of take out orders. I'm sorry but the people that came out to the building should certainly have some priority in getting the food as those getting delivery know they have to wait. Also in the restaurant I overheard a family which had 4 adults 3 children one of which was a baby had been charged for the price of 7 adults to which the staff corrected. I'm not sure how you confuse a baby with an adult but it might go to the apparent desperation and hiding prices. There was also a woman that had come in by herself and because there was basically no food she never ate that much either then ended up just asking for the bill because she had to be elsewhere and when it did arrive she never had enough money because she had brought enough for the previous price. The member of staff was rude and said its up to her to find out the prices of things before she ordered but up till this point I had no idea of the price increase myself as it was never mentioned or advertised. Overall I was very disappointed by the experience and will not be going here again as the place has only been getting worse over time and I don't see it getting better.

Went for my daughter's birthday as she loves Chinese and haven't done eat as much as you like at the Peking for ages. Decor is very basic and needs updating. Food had lack of choice was very hit and miss with taste and texture. The self service area was crammed into a little area it would be better at the back where the dish wash area seems to be. It was much better when eat as much as you like was upstairs, the space, food and presentation was far better before. I felt the food didn't warrant the cost at all and we were extremely disappointed and will not recommend or return.

Myself and my husband visited for the first time in months and its quite noticeable how the standard has gone downhill. We arrived at 17.30 so not long after opening and the buffet was already very poor in terms of availability which I found shocking considering that there was only one other table in the restaurant. To top that, the food was also cold and some dishes particularly tasteless. In terms of the restaurants decor, this has also deteriorated - there was an obvious lack of cleanliness around the room with some suspect stains on the feature mirror which you can't help but notice. It's a shame that their standards have become so poor and will deter us from visiting again.

While the staff were wonderful, overall the food selection has gone downhill and for the price of it I could certainly go to a better eat as much as you like. I likely won't be going again until the selection of food increases. Also to boot what food was there was hardly filled, there were three groups there and there was not enough for anyone.

Gone down hill since we last went there. Staff in the bar area very friendly and can't do enough for you, however, there was one lady had a face like thunder and wasn't interested at all. Food was mediocre at best. Shame as it used to be a fantastic place to eat, whether it was the buffet, a la carte or takeaway.
