Really disappointed, asked for boiled rice and was given egg fried. Allergic to egg so food gone to waste

I wish I'd found this takeaway earlier. I've been working around this area for six months and hadn't had a Chinese meal until today and I must say, the beef mushroom could be the best I've ever had. The meat was tender and the flavouring was perfect. I'll be back next week

Various dishes all good After reading a few negative reviews of late I thought I would give it a go from our usual default take away. We have not used it for maybe a year or 2 and was pleasantly supprised all the dishes were prepared quickly no problems with portion size or lack of main ingredients as were as described in the menu. Would recommend without hesitation

Unfortunately the food is now awful with v little meat, and the prices have doubled some even more. Was a great place at one point and very local to me, but I'll be going elsewhere now

Waste of money most disgusting Chinese we have had. Salt and pepper chicken was like eating fried batter chow Mein was dreadful and satay chicken was like water DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Used to be great but not any more. Had two very gloopy dishes with tough meat and low quality sauce, far too garlicky. No pieces of real chilli in dishes that used to have plenty. Dishes used to have fresh tasting smooth sauces. Now just salty garlicky thick and congealed. Very unpleasant. I shall be finding a different local takeaway from now on. This is a real shame its become so bad. One saving grace was the prawn toasts were good. Have those and avoid the main courses.

I always order the same but the service and food never disappoints. Generous portions and freshly cooked. Good to see they accept cash as well which is so important in these austere times keeping their prices low.

Here and delivered in 20 minutes, and honestly was the nicest Chinese me and my girlfriend have ever eaten! 10/10 highly recommended

Do not buy from here. Half of our food was completely inedible! What a waste of £41. The crispy chilli beef was appalling, was hoping to have found a new go to Chinese but have seemed to find one to AVOID.

Good food but does not take cards

I used China China for the first time tonight. Very quick delivery (under 20 minutes) and the food was delicious. 5 stars all the way.

Have had 3 takeaways orders over last few weeks - food has been really good. I’ve not been here since it changed ownership so will definitely be ordering again. All my friends were really pleased with their food, all freshly cooked and piping hot. Deep fried Chilli Beef, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls and King Prawn & Mushroom were amazing. It’s worth noting they only take cash.

China china is our usual Chinese place, we absolutely love it! Ordered at 4:55 and was told that it would be delivered after 5:30, which is usual time which we were fine with but we weren’t disappointed when we called at 6:15 and found out that it hadn’t even been put through it made yet, we were told it would take another 30 minutes, very disappointed so we cancelled the order..may order from there again but disappointed tonight!!

Used to be very good but now over priced and the food is average for a Chinese takeaway.

I don't like them, China china ask always to pay cash only, we are 6 people and I can't know how much we need all the time, it's not confortable

Really good Chinese takeaway, can’t fault the food. For a traditional Chinese takeaway this is as good as any. However I wish they would drop their cash only policy. These days few of us carry cash and getting some out merely for your Chinese on a Saturday night is a hassle. I understand that they do accept a cheque, However I can’t remember when I last wrote and don’t think I even have a valid cheque book. Please invest in a PDQ machine China, China and you’d be perfect.

Can’t fault this China China, nothing fancy but a very good standard Chinese takeaway other than WHY DO THEY STILL INSIST IN 2023 to only accept cash. Most of us haven’t held cash since Covid and getting some out merely for your takeaway on a Saturday night is a pain. I understand they also accept cheques, again I don’t think many still have r a cheque book, indeed I can’t remember when I last wrote one.

Great food at really good prices. 3 adults ate like pigs for £42.

Very popular Chinese take away restaurant with Wendover and surrounding villages, delivery is available and is usaly propmt. Delivery drivers are always respectful and lovely to deal with at the door. Cash only unfortunately but the food is very good 👍 😋 👌

Ordered this evening for the first time and was one of the best chineses we’ve ever had. Delivery to missenden was very quick and delivery driver very friendly . Will definitely use again

Better and better, I would of rated 4 stars before, but actually I would say its now a consistant 5 stars, I honestly can't fault it.

The best Chinese food in the area!!!

Reasonable value, good food, fast service. Disappointing in the 21st century though that it's cash or cheques only though- if I hadn't been so hungry and running behind schedule I'm not sure that I would have been bothered to have go to a local ATM machine and come back again and re-order.

I am visiting the area and was looking for dinner. The meal I ordered was lovely and tasty. I walked in shop ordered and left within 10 minutes with my meal. I would recommend this restaurant, not sure what delivery is like but order in shop, delicious!!!

Love the food from here but the prices have gone up more than fuel a real shame .

Very nice food indeed, better than the online app resteraunts of the same cuisine that I have tried. Very fast service and very reasonable pricing for the large portions you receive.

This is the BEST Chinese takeaway you will find in the whole of the UK!! Fresh food always, never a problem, and they know how to cook authenticity!

What’s happened to China China ? This was one of the best Chinese takeaways there was and the last 2 takeaways have tasted of oil ( oil change needed ) and been soggy . Such a disappointment ! Please go back to cooking great Chinese ASAP !

Really great takeaway. I recommend the set meal D..great value, super food, super portion sizes. Our favourite over more expensive places in Tring for quality. Be prepared to collect rather than rely on delivery though, certainly where we are based (about 7 miles away). But for us, the trip is WELL worth it.

Usually everything is great from here but today food took over an hour to arrive, which is very disappointing. Some food was very Cold x overcooked. But rest was lovely. Prawn crackers are gorgeous. Hopefully todays issues will not happen afain X

First time I've visited China,China - my usual Chinese takeway is Monks Risborough's Wonder Wok ( which is excellent ). Food not bad , ribs were poor, but the rest of the order was ok.

Been using your fine establishment for a number of years. Food always great, like some sort of nuclear weapon. Tonight, a new recipe and sensation to the prawn crackers turned my experience from an 8, to a 10. Thin layers of delight for every season. Will be coming back very soon.

New to the area and delighted to find an excellent Chinese takeaway close to me, only quirks are finding the menu on another review website and paying cash (for delivery), get a menu with your first order and all is good!

Egg fried rice was lacking egg and fried. Crispy chilli beef was nice and crispy but I was expecting at least a little heat to warrant the 1 chilli rating.

Has been a staple in this area for many years. Word of warning - no cards, cash only. I am not totally sure that this is a totally up to date menu but it should help.

Excellent Singapore noodle, nice and spicy.

It was our first time and we think we will return. We ordered a variety of starters and mains, and it was a big order. One item was incorrect and their chips were a bit over cooked- Chinese take away chips are normally very crisp and fresh but I think they re-fried them. Chilli garlic wings and pancake roll was very good!

AMAZING FOOD. Best Chinese in the area.. loved the tofu and the Vegetable Chown Mein is marvelous.. incredible.. super recommend it.

I’ve used China China probably once a month as a treat over the 2 years I’ve lived in Wendover. The last 2 times we’ve ordered they have totally got it wrong and tonight they got it wrong and the food was so disappointing that I doubt I’ll use them again. I don’t know what has changed but it’s very disappointing.

There is nothing fancy about their food but the quality is good and was delivered quickly and piping hot. Our first order was for a pre-set menu D for two. It would have easily fed four and was delivered for a total of £28 - what's not to like?

Yes this really is the best Chinese Takeaway that I have ever found, the food is simply delicious. Over the last ten years we have ordered from China China and the food has been consistently excellent. It gets very busy so it’s best to place your order by phone first. Also parking can be difficult at busy times so have somebody with you to go and collect if possible. Enjoy.

Can get a main meal and rice/noodles for around £8/9. My fussy granddaughter was happy eating their Chow Mein. Large portions,enough from 5 meals to make up a couple of meals for tomorrow.
