Peking House Take away in Kettering

Just had an excellent set meal A for one with a portion of Singapore Noodles. The sweet and sour chicken balls were superb. It fed three of us there was that much. Superb value, nice and hot too. Came to £21 so not bad at all.

Excellent food we ordered chicken satay, king prawn chow mein and chicken in black bean very happy. Will be coming back.

Top guys. I’m fussy what I eat and ordered Singapore noodles but didn’t want bean sprouts and wanted it extra spicy. These guys bent over backwards to make my meal how I wanted it.

In about 10 years and never had a bad meal and we order at least one’s a week always hot and tasty and very fast delivery

Food was nice just couldn't be bothered to bring back what to you forgot, which meant someone going without wouldn't use again

If I could give 0 stars I would. Waited for hour and 15 mins to be told that most customers understand and my food will be another 30 mins nearly 2 hours after i asked what's taking so long. Wasn't told the waiting time. Bad attitude. I cancelled my order. The lady put the phone down to call me back saying that the food is on its way but now has came back. Made no sense considering I cancel my order and the conversation was over. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

The food is easily the best Chinese in Kettering, but their service is slow and inefficient. A couple of extra staff on a Saturday would make a very positive difference.

Best Chinese food in Kettering 👍

Pretty standard chinese menu with all the normal choices, food was cooked well and was tasty. Unlike some Chinese takeaway on Kettering it want excessively greasy, not the best takeaway I've had, but far from the worst.

Used to be good NOW worst than rubbish full of M.S.G (look it up ) The absolute worst takeaway I have ever had. Shame really because close to me but I actually felt sorry for the bin.

Would give them no stars if I could, stated 1hr 30min for delivery called back as no food in time stated to be told another 30 mins so cancelled my order, lady was very rude to me won't ever order again, but then again I've been barred for cancelling said order so I can't even if I wanted to! No skin off my nose though!!!

Always good quality Chinese and Thai food. Delivery free within a certain radius and usually pretty quick to deliver. Really good consistent quality food and reasonably priced and good portion sizes.

Over an hour for delivery on a Monday night for a 10 minute drive! Food was cold when delivered too, definitely will not be ordering from here again

I only ordered a pancake roll thankfully. But they weren't happy that was all I ordered. As if they thought I should be eating more. Very rude and pancake roll was dried up and clearly microwaved with not a spec of grease in the paper bag it came in. When I rang up to complain they swore it had just come out of the fryer. Yeah right. Needless to say I wont be going back.

This used to be a good Chinese that we ordered regularly from, they raised prices and dropped standards! Keep making mistakes and blame the customer, shame.

Love there food. But been down to place an order but the shutters were closed. Family members had the same thing. I hope they not closed for good. Yeah they are very polite and helpful.

Food is lovely from here, by far the best chinese for miles. Only one have they missed something from our order and they have sorted it straight away.

The wait for delivery wasn't too long (45 mins) and the food is unbelievably good - I'm really impressed. I recommend the aubergine starter (has chili so only order if ok with spicy food). I also had Singapore fried rice and pork with honey and it was all amazing. My fiance's beef noodles were a really good standard as well. Also they give you really good portions.

Twice ordered from this place. The first time took two hours to be delivered. After a fair few months we decided to give it another go, as the food was good. Unfortunately, we had to wait 2 and a had hours for our food this time. Numerous phone calls were made each time and assurances were made that it would be there soon or it was in the delivery car.... never again!

We have used this place a few times, Nice menu with a good choice of foods, at reasonable prices. Delivered at time given, very hot.

We have used Peaking House a few times now and it's definitely one of the best around. Lots of choice on the menu, reasonable price, comes delivered hot and fresh and within time scales given. The food is all very fresh and not greasy. Really enjoyed it, will be our regular takeaway from now! Will recommend to all :)

It's the best I go here every day

We have been using this takeaway regularly since October 2015 and have never had a bad meal. The menu is varied and there are 8 choices of set dinner options incorporating some of our favourites. This gives the option of not having to order the same set menu each time. Prices are reasonable, food delivered promptly within the given timescales quoted on the phone dependent upon how busy they are. They do say free delivery on the menu but we have been charged £1 every time we ordered and we are local and in town so add this to the cost when choosing a meal. We order for two and have tried the 4 set menus which are relevant - the Supreme (E) at £11 per head being our favourite.

Very Good, as someone who travels to China every year and having a Chinese wife I feel qualified to comment on Chinese food, the food is by far the closest taste to food served in China and definitely the best in Kettering very good quality rice, nice clean place & nice people to deal with. Wish you every success for the future.
