Watched them spit in my food, was absolutely disgusting, believe the worker was under the name james billinghurst, threw food away immediately, not returning!!!

Food wasn’t great when balls were a bit dry and rice was too but for a last order was made quick and was okay 😁👍🏼

I’ve taken the time to right this review as I’m extremely cautious of Chinese takeaways and this is the ONLY takeaway we will ever order from. Traveling from the other side of Biggleswade the food is flavoursome, fresh and good quality meat and fish (The prawns are fab)! No weird textured chicken here and heavy chemical taste. Lovely family kitchen, takes cash no delivery but worth the trip

They do good food and the set menus are very good for the money

Food very average, little meat and vegetables, pasta with little sauce. Very poorly seasoned. So, in short, the rating does not correspond to the food served. The only advantage is that it is issued quickly.

We ordered crispy chill beef (lovely), chicken chow mein (lovely), vegetable chow mein (lovely), sweet and sour prawn balls (7 out of 10) as they were a bit to doughy. We also had salt and pepper chips which were well done but think perhaps do not travel well as were a little soggy (not their fault, seems to be common with takeaways. I have tried pretty much all the takeaways from Biggleswade, Sandy, Potton, to Henlow, and would say this is nearly as good as China Express Sandy, which I think is the best. I would definitely order form there again 👍🏻

The Chinese food from Peaking House was pleasant and not overly salty, which I appreciated. I would definitely purchase from here again. We regularly have takeaway on weekends or with family, so it's nice to find a place we can support regularly. One thing that stood out was that the food didn't have a lot of MSG, which is a plus since we cook Chinese Oriental food at home as well. I really loved the beef and mushrooms in oyster sauce; it was my favorite dish. I did find the portions slightly smaller than usual, so it would be nice to have two size options. Additionally, our dishes had leaked due to the foil boxes, which was something I observed. Overall, a good experience and we look forward to ordering again. Thanks again! 🧧🪭🥠 🍜🍱🥟🥮🧧🪭

The food here, all be it looking amazing, has to be one of the blandest takeaways I've tried to date. Sad that the amount of money spent ended up with the poor finish in flavour. I wouldn't use this place again. I have a favourite and am willing to drive to the next town to get over ordering from here

I checked the reviews as I was trying to find a new Chinese takeaway. Usually I'm skeptical about new places but across the board the reviews were great so I gave it a go, and I can confirm it was bangin', food was great every single thing I ordered hit the mark! My new favourite Chinese shop!!

Our regular takeout local. You can taste the difference! They say no added MSG, and I believe them! When I eat foods with added MSG, I pour with sweat the next day. With this food, I don't! We normally order special fried rice, Singapore fried rice, dry spare ribs. We have also had their salt and pepper chicken wings and grilled dumplings . Everything tastes so good and well cooked. The service is always brilliant. We normally call up and place the order and then walk down to collect it.

Been looking for a Chinese that I liked for a while since moving to the area, this is it. Food is tasty and seems a lot fresher than local competition. Service is polite and quick and it is reasonably priced. It is worth noting though that it is cash only and I don’t think they do delivery.

Good Takeaway. Need to make their menu mire accessible and do delivery.

I had chinese from Peking House for the first time, and overall I must say I am impressed. The portions were big (I ordered large chow meins and fried rice) but one thing I felt chow mein lacked flavour and there were very less meat. But what made up for that, were the ribs!! I ordered barbeque ribs and deep fried salt and pepper ribs and both were sooo good, I am definitely ordering ribs from here!! Staff were very friendly; I placed a phone order to collect in 30 mins and it was being bagged up when I got there. Do bear in mind, they take cash only.

No msg....fast friendly service and never had a poor one...cash only which is a bit of a pain.....

Food is always top drawer and worth the wait, No MSG which is great. Could do with a card payment option in this day and age though.

Had food poisoning from this place last week. Still paying for it now. AVOID.

Food is good, but frustrating that they give you an eta on the phone then you routinely have to wait another 20-30 minutes. Would be better to give a more accurate time to collect.

Have always been polite&courteous.Food has been okay for the majority of the 30 odd years I have been a patron.Still food is spot on,just not my favourite place when compared to some other places if your willing to travel,or wait for delivery.Still y first choice for local Chinese takeaway at reasonable prices to.👍

Good food but very expensive for a takeaway.

Very decent food, make sure you order first otherwise you could wait around for a while, they are very popular so therefore busy. Take away only.

5 star all the way! I'm not sure if this place is under new management, or just has a new chef, but a completely different meal than we last had from here. Top class, fresh flavours, and MSG free. Only small problem is that they don't deliver, but no biggie really.
