Very polite chef and happy to alter my order, cash only which was frustrating but not a big deal. Food was great, special fried rice. I was not too happy that his wife and daughter were sitting upfront eating noodles next to the worktops its unappealing to witness while your food is being made next to them. I will return hoping that they eat in the back out of view of customers

Chicken sweet & sour. The chicken had strange texture as if cooked from frozen. Sauce was weak and tasteless. Rice ok. Sweet and sour ribs. Awful. It was belly pork with lots of fat. Totally inedible. Won't be coming back.

I bought char sui pork and a bag of prawn crackers from Peking House and it was amazing! The flavour, the big pieces of pork, the sauce, everything was amazing and tasty and cooked to perfection. The prawn crackers are very tasty also; the best I have ever tasted. A reasonable price for a very good meal. Would highly recommend. The service was also very good and so as long as they continue this standard I will eat here again.

It was my fella who wanted food and went in...I personally am not a fan...food was basic...plain and unintelligent staf...very slow and didn't seem to understand...egg fried rice...got home...just plain old rice...

Brilliant takeaway! Always worth the walk! Everything absolutely delicious, I particularly enjoy some of their dim sum options and salt and pepper ribs 👌. They do a mix of "classic Chinese takeaway" choices as well as offering a range of authentic pan-asian dishes. Never had a complaint about any aspect of the food...and the owners are always friendly!

Friendly staff, noodles and beansprouts delicious,chicken skewers a bit rubbery, fair price range.

Worst Chinese I think I have ever had, two forkfuls and the rest has gone in the bin, avoid at all costs!!

The food and service was absolutely fantastic and have told all my friends and family about this place. I would also highly recommend that everyone should try the salt and pepper chips from this place.

Fast service, affordable prices

We have tried many of the Chinese Take Aways in the local area but this is our favourite and we have been going regularly for a number of years for our Saturday night take away. We always collect our family food order and they always put in some free prawn crackers and fortune cookies for the kids which they love. The family who run this place are friendly, polite and hard working. The food is always ready on time and everything we’ve tried from here we have thoroughly enjoyed. They are also happy to tailor meals e.g. our kids don’t like onions so they leave them out of their meals. We will continue to be regular customers here.

I love this take away and the service is amazing and excellent. The people who run it are really kind and funny. For myself I don't usually like special fried rice but I love it from Peking House. Our family love the food that they make and would recommend it for anyone else to have. When we collect our order they always give us free prawn crackers and fortune cookies.

First time we have ordered from here tonight and spent over £30 and the food was horrible. After having to wait 1 hour 45 minutes for delivery after being told upto a hour wait . They gave us one of the meals wrong, there was absolutely no meat on any of the salt n pepper ribs , The salt n pepper chicken pieces was like rubber , No free prawn crackers or anything with the order . It smelt and tasted of old oil 🤢 And I did ring and tell them but they said they are too busy to deal with anything or replace anything so I decided to do a review instead . I think this review is me being quite nice as 80 percent of the food went in the bin.

No menu asked for copy but no menu

Had a sweet and sour chicken and the taste was very weak, won ton soup had to small won tons and nothing much else, will not be going back, money wasted.

Excellent. Right down to the prawn crackers, best chinese in Wigan.

Excellent Chinese and Thai food! Friendly service and huge portions. Highly recommended. Try the salt and pepper chicken wings! Tonight's were superb, best I have ever had and only £3.95. Really, just get 2 portions.

Only reason Peking House doesn't get 5 stars is cause there's no delivery option. The food is something else! I'm happy enough to drive over here for oriental family feast.

I used to work here as a delivery guy, so I know this place very well, absolutely fresh material and skilled chefs! You won't miss that!
