Change of ownership and not for the better. Food quality nowhere near as good as previously. Price increased by almost 20% as well! Service not as good either. Have to ask for everything, cutlery, condiments, napkins, clean plates....... Won't be returning any time soon!

Great food, super service. It's a table service buffet with a fixed price per adult and 'kid'. The premises are definitely in need of renovation. All in all an 'interesting' experience that we'll remember. Thank goodness the food and staff were spot on! Ps avoid the cappuccino!

Place needs updating. It had a strong, musky smell when you walked in the tables are very close together you cannot move The food was hot and fresh but when you order only give a few dishes as they don't understand or deliver everything

me and my partner went for food, the food was freshly cooked and the fried items were perfect. The atmosphere is a little outdated however it has beautiful decorations all over. The staff was very attentive and our food came out within 5 minutes every time.

Couldn’t really give a fair score on atmosphere because there were only the four of us in. Another couple came and were seated as we were leaving but that was all. It was early on a Wednesday evening though and we often find that can be the case wherever we eat. Service was quick once ordered but we had to ask in between courses to order more. We did expect this though when it’s all you can eat. All the food was bang on. Can’t say there was anything I didn’t enjoy. All you can eat, cooked freshly for four people with 6 pints of lager and 2 pints of Diet Coke came to £26 per head. Would definitely recommend

Been tonight to celebrate my daughters birthday and all the staff were lovely and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble . They fetched her cake out and all joined in to sing and gave her a bottle of wine as a gift . Gorgous food and was first time taking my dad and he loves it . Thankyou for a lovely evening !!

Nice all you can eat. You order off a set menu and they bring everything hot and fresh. Could be doing with heated more but a pleasant experience

Great place to eat, the food is excellent as is the service. The menu has a large choice for all tastes. . It is in need of decoration and tidying up, but don't let that put you off visiting.

Honestly some of the best Chinese food I've ever had, no exaggeration. I'm a big chicken wing fan and the salt and pepper ones from here are UNREAL! Very fairly priced and the staff are absolutely lovely too. Will definitely visit again and will highly recommend. Thanks for having us!

Been here numerous times but for sure standards are declining. Decided to go yesterday for some food. The place is looking tatty. Tired dirty walls with a matching carpet. Don't get me wrong, the staff are pleasant enough, albeit very young and dressed in grubby sports gear. We was led to a table adorned with cheap tissues with plates on that hadn't been washed properly they brought prawn crackers with some sort of really cold jelly like sauce that didn't look appetising at all. Anyway. Drinks ordered where we was presented with a flat diet coke and a small glass of rose wine which tastes of vinegar it was so cheap. Ordered food . Took an age which was wierd given there was only 7 people in including us. And the food was bland and tasteless. The chips where swimming in fat and the ribs although different varieties where indistinguishable from each other. We left quite a bit of the starter and the young lad asked us if it was ok, we said no not up to the usual standard and he said OK I'll tell them so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Nice. But it was ok to happen to us? The main course came and the young girl who brought it to us had nails (claws) so long she couldn't take the plates off the tray. And it was again bland. ... didn't bother complaining. Just paid (£39.55) and left.weve both been a bit off today and there's zero chance of returning....

This was huge dissapointment.. I couldn't wait to eat some good chinese meal, but all what i get was greasy sticky dirty menu, restaurant (or better fast food), with hidious decor and terrible malayaian uneatable food. (for 9,2pound..) Rice dry, no flavour and chicken was fried with galons of oil, greasy and together with weird canned super sweet sauce. Nothing freshly cooked. Only good thing during the visit was soup.

Service absolutely teribable....never again.

Food was good but had no idea it was all you could eat until I looked at the receipt after leaving, only had 2 dishes and wondered why they were small. Would've been nice to have been told

We've been coming to Beijing House for years and we've always loved it. They must now be under new management because there was a huge decline in it's standards tonight. It just seemed grubby inside and unloved, the back on one of our chairs was broken, the menu was dirty and sticky and there rips in the seat covers. When we first walked in, we were ignored for the first few minutes, even though it was quiet, when we ordered our drinks my coke came and it was flat and tasted like cheap rola cola, I had to send it back, it shouldn't be being served and all the tables had random assortment of birthday cake napkins instead of the usual restaurant fabric napkins they used to provide. We ordered a duck starter and the pancakes came on a plate in a sealed microwaveable bag that hadn't even been opened and the steam burnt my fingers opening it. The pancakes used to come in a bamboo container, the presentation had just deteriorated here. The salt and pepper chicken and the chicken curry were both clearly made using cheap frozen cubes of chicken, they tasted bad and were served luek warm. We left our mains because they were no better. Sadly, we won't be coming back again after this awful experience. We could have gone to a better, cleaner restaurant for much cheaper.

Food is fantastic, staff always polite and friendly won't be going anywhere else again Would definitely recommend a visit or even a takeaway both excellent

Has this place been taken over after lockdwn cos I’m always worried when there’s not one Chinese person to be seen n I was right food was shocking drinks flat waited ages for any food to arrive won’t be returning use to be great little place now it’s just cheap nasty food over priced stay away

First time we have ordered from here, it was great from start to finish the food got here hot and no spills plus great customer service from the person who took the call from the person who delivered it. The food was delicious my personal favourite was the chicken fried rice would definitely recommend and will be going here again!

Just tried here for a takeaway! I can't believe I've never been before. Salt and pepper chicken balls are amazing, crispy duck was tasty and great portion size and my main course was gorgeous. I won't be going anywhere else now.

Food was ok.Dissapointed to be charged full price for a 6 year old but this was eventually changed after I questioned it.Service was really good from the gent, but both ladies looked really glum.

Staff brilliant ,food is so good all fresh. And eat all you like until you can't eat no more. The only thing they don't have now are any sweets. They don't have same staff has before lock down. I think others have sold it on. Only thing I found chicken n sweet corn soup bit thin needs to be thickened up. But rest of soup amazing. They also do social distance too n wear mask. N disenfect when people leave.

Food today was terrible £30 plus gone in the bin. Would have given one Star but have been using this restaurant for years and in the past has always been one of the best. Hoping this is a one off or will not be using again.

This place needs a lick of paint, it looks tired and tacky. Unfortunately the same applies to the food. Greasy and tasteless. The food doesn’t taste fresh either, I’m sure they are serving yesterday’s rice as fried rice, yuck. Serving staff were friendly but I could hear shouting from the kitchen not a nice thing to hear when you have come for a dinning experience. There are so many better options around so I would avoid this place.

Ok when not too full as service can be slow

Booked our family of five in here with some trepidation as from the outside it doesn't look that inviting and me and my son used to laugh every time we drove past because a different letter had fallen off the sign! Any way what a pleasant surprise! The food was excellent and great value and the service was quick, pleasant and attentive. We would definitely highly recommend and we will be back very soon

I live in Scotland and often visit family in Wigan, this is our 'eating out place'...we've had many great meals out here, the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, well presented and hot... Beijing House has a great atmosphere, love it...well worth the money...

I have just had a takeaway from Beijing house and I can honestly say I was very disappointed with the food that was delivered we ordered the Beijing mixed platter when it arrived it was in a pizza box and the food itself I think had been taken off the Chinese buffet everything was cold and dry the seaweed was not sweet enough and over cooked and the spring rolls tasted like they had been cooked in old oil the worst meal I have ever had a complete waste of £23 never eat from them again

Great all you can eat Chinese, we love this place forbthe fact it's not like normal all you can eats. Pick from the menu and they will bring it to you fresh, choose as much as you like but word of warning!. If you move from the starters to the mains you can not go back. I give this warning as we love the chick in satay sticks, we order a couple at a time but they are massive and so yummy. Always best to book a table as they always seem to be full up, although they do also do takeaway.

Good food, very busy, price not bad

The nicest, tastiest Chinese food I've had in years....plentiful and delicious. Omg try the buffet, not the usual where ppl have their paws in, you pick from the menu and items are brought freshly cooked to you amazing.

Went for my 50th with my children and grandchildren only one member of staff that was lovely and bothered to speak to us, spent 200 quid........ Macdonald's would have been better, rushed all the way through as had table booked twice, never even offered the dessert menu as they were rushing us out of door, wont go again
