Best Chinese food around here by a mile Portion sizes are big and prices very good Delivery is usually within 30 minutes. Owner is friendly and always asks how I am and what I have been doing

I could never understand why i always got charged more than i had worked out, and just put it down to having an out of date menu, so when i got a new menu it turns out they had been charging me for delivery even though i am within the free delivery radius, when i questioned this, was told that I have to pay for delivery regardless, so i subsequently now order from Steeton Chinese, even if they charge for delivery at least they are not lying about it. So if you live in Cowling just be aware that they are incorrectly charging you for delivery. Also the food is very average

Never had any issues , not sure why there is so much negitivity ! Always red hot , Polite on the phone greeting your name ... Yummy food . Regular and will keep returning :)

Firstly we ordered mixed starter for 2. Spring rolls were basic veg. Wan tons had nothing in them - just greasy deep fried pastry. All served dry with No dips. Main courses: Singapore vermicelli was burnt - how many times it had been heated up I dread to think. Special kung po was mainly raw onion and the whole thing was tasteless - which was better than burnt! Suffice to say most of it went in the bin and we will never see that £22.80 again! However, we will NEVER order food from here again either. Disgusting. AND they don’t take card!

Takeaway service is straight forward and quick, we ordered twice in the space of a couple of weeks, unfortunately one of meals was incorrect on the first occasion, but by the time we got home and realised it didn't seem worth raising the issue to have to go back out again, as what we had was still nice.

Food is nice from here, so much so that I prefer to drive to this one other than walking to my local one. However last night they got my order wrong and overcharged me; this has happened for the last 3 times I have been!! It’s a shame but I won’t go back as it’s clear, also from other reviews that the owner doesn’t care about his customer and likes to overcharge them. Nick.

Been using for years and not the best, but handy. The last 3 orders have been wrong, he just does not give a ---- about getting things wrong, just been charged over £30 for an order and no fried rice, clearly told him what I was ordering and he takes my order all the time, who orders a Chinese without rice. NEVER AGAIN.

Don’t go that often but when we have they have consistently forgotten something. Tried to check my phone order back to the chap in the shop and he just hung up. Eventually, picked up food. Got home found that there wasn’t the correct amount of chip portions I had paid for. Had to go back to pick up another portion of chips. No apologies. When we unpacked our food for our family meal I had to eat a meal I had not ordered as they had even got this wrong. Needless to say, they have lost a local family’s business. Haven’t had this problem with the Indian takeaways in the village. Will definitely use the other Chinese takeaway in the village from now on.

Very good choice of food very large menu for you to choose from. They also do a delivery service which is great . Recommend salt and pepper chicken they are definitely very good. They also do a very good salt and pepper chips .

just had my favourite special chow mien, ribs, onion rings, best ever the food is always good. delivered fast. i recomend this takeaway

Ordered 2 meals, asked for delivery told an hour, could just about handle that, just !! An hour and 40 mins later and we are still sat waiting. Even if the food is cracking when it does arrive with those wait times we won’t be ordering again.

I’m not a regular takeaway guy, but the plastic and metal containers for the main dishes seemed bigger than others. All dishes were tasty and well cooked with what appeared to be fresh veg. Chicken and black beam sauce; chicken fried rice; sweet and sour king prawns; beef and ginger and spring onion and chicken chow mein all very good.

Been going here for years not a problem with the food but ordered some chips as for my friend needed some food but they failed to deliver them and after asking polity on the phone for a bag of chips after I had been charged for them the guy on the phone rudely said I couldn’t have them and rushed me off the phone. Very disappointing

Just love the food from here even with a change of ownership the food is really good, portions generous and the best ribs in honey in the world!

We have been visiting here for many years & the new owners seem to have carried on where the previous owners left off, serving consistently good food every time!

Yo estaba de vacaciones en las cercanías de carenado y probar este chino. Entrega muy rápida a media hora si eso. La razón de 5 de 5, sin embargo, es que la comida era fantástica.

Orden por teléfono y me dijo 20 minutos para recoger. Así después de esperar 30 minutos me preguntó cuánto tiempo iba a ser, me dijeron que estaba medio listo (2) Curry otros 10 minutos y finalmente estaba listo. En la mina de tiempo estaba listo la tienda estaba llena de gente que quiera sus órdenes pero la chica en el teléfono todavía estaba diciendo recogidas y entregas en 20 minutos 1 hora. Cuando finalmente me dieron la orden que me preguntó por qué estaba hablando tanto tiempo me dijeron que estaban ocupados. Eso está bien, pero decir que 20 minutos para recoger cuando claramente no iba a tomar más tiempo. Y todo lo que conseguí fue una disculpa pobres no podían ser molestado ya que tenía ya mi dinero.

The food is good, but used to be better before the new owners took over. Also every delivery we've had there has been items missing. It's not badly priced.

Horrible since the new owners took over. Even the curry tastes different. chop suey now really tomato flavoured just awful.

My wife and I enjoyed a superb tasting takeaway. Roast pork cantonese and beef shezuan with chips and soft knoodles. Really fresh onion,chillis, carrots and tasty sauce not too salty. Highly recommended. New owners are offering quality food at reasonable prices.y
