I called and was told it’s with the delivery driver, it arrived 30 minutes later.

Good tasting food with good portion sizes

£38 order, ordered online and requested a 6.30 time slot. By 6.55 still not arrived. Called the restaurant and told to hang on for 2 mins spoke to someone rude, told him food late and gave him my details. I was told it would be with me in 5 mins, I asked how long since it left the restaurant and was told 10 mins. The food bag seemed hot but unfortunately the food was not - rice was pappy, the chop suey tasted like soap and the ribs were dry and cold and not fresh - we have thrown most away

Restaurant accepted my order and closed down . My order was not delivered ! Hopefully, I will get my money back. So unlikely that I will use this restaurant or just eat in the future.

Unfortunately meal was awful. Way too much salt. It ruined everything. I always have the same thing and it’s usually lovely, so not sure what happened but I ended up throwing it away.

Sorry to say but the only good thing about this was the delivery! The Special Fried Rice was so claggy it wouldn’t come out of the carton . Both the Chips and Chicken Balls were Burnt and smelled of old oil ! The Mussels and Ribs that I also ordered were just about satisfactory . I wouldn’t recommend this outlet to anyone to be honest and I would recommend that Just Eat investigates future reviews seriously!

It not only arrived late, which I would have forgiven should I have been updated but the app said it had been delivered 20mins prior, I ended up calling the restaurant to find out what happened. The quality of food not as nice as last time I ordered, rice very stuck together / overcooked. Hope it’s just a one time situation as it’s a Saturday night.

Food is okay would say great but never gets here before a hour and only 2.5 miles from the place. Always have to ring and be told the driver is leaving right now in which you wait additional time all in all very slap dash this place wouldn't use in the future.

An hour late then turns up burnt and cold save your money

Have tried many chineses over the years but the Peking chef is the best by far. Tasty food, speedy delivery & friendly staff.

Best Chinese in Billericay. Usually get delivery, food is always piping hot and tastes great. Been coming here for a few years and always been spot on!

Being coming here since Covid, I often get delivery and food always on time and in perfect condition. My favourite is the sweet and sour hk style chicken, but the curries are amazing too, not to talk about the sesame prawn toast!!! I’ve never been disappointed and the people there are so nice!

The food was an hour and a half late! Called and the order was “missed” was told it would be delivered in 15 minutes and was a further 40 minutes on top!

Slightly pricier than most but the food was decent.

The duck sauce with pancakse was burnt and sticky, it was inedible. chicken curry, the chicken didn't taste right and looked like little octopuses. I wont be back.

Please don’t order from this restaurant the food is old not cooked fresh, reheated, burnt. Made my partner and myself unwell and I only had less than a mouthful of rice. We spent £35 and was told we could be given a refund and to bring the food back

Delivery was late and food needed reheating on arrival. The quality was OK (noodle dishes were ok) but the rice was overcooked and arrived as a solid block. The Thai red curry didn’t taste of much and the green curry was very spicy but also lacked other flavour. A shame as it cost almost £60.

Chicken chow mein had about 3 bits of chicken in it and very dry. No free prawn crackers that you get with other Chinese. Chips tasted like reheated chips. Wouldn’t order from here again

Best tasting Chinese food I’ve had in ages! Thai chicken were phenomenal! Ribs were so succulent and the Singapore chow mien had just the right amount of spices!

Food arrived in good time, however i can not give this more than 1 star. The chicken curry was nice and very hot. Everything else was cold. Chips where hard, Prawn balls where hard. I have never seen red onion in a chore mein before and it was SO dry. Beef prices in chow mein where tiny and hard. Very Disappointed.

For was ready on time, and the food was nice. Only issue we had was we didn’t get any pancakes to go wjth the duck. Couldn’t get back to correct this as it would have ruined dinner. Not had this problem before though

found the chicken satay very bland. the chow main was good. very little prawn crackers. What I paid for my order was not worth the value for money.

Some of the dishes were cold due to being delivered late. The delivery driver was confused about price and ended up roguing the bell 4 times when we have little ones also we upstairs 🤪 the food was delicious but annoying it was cold and late as not cheap!

Honestly, underwhelming! Lack of flavour and simply not enough of it! I’m convinced the packaging has got smaller since I last ordered but ultimately is was so disappointing! I suggest they get a take away from a local competitor beginning with Y, and get to that standard.

1hr 45 mins for a delivery?! Items missing and the sweet and sour sauce has more or less a solid blob. Won't be ordering again.

Ordered early and requested timed delivery which arrived pretty much on time which given it's Christmas Eve is nothing short of amazing. Food was delicious and we will definitely be going back for more.

The food was awful I threw it in the bin. Chow mein was very greesy and dark in colour and prawn balls were covered in so much batter it was disgusting the prawns were hard as well.

Absolutely awful and cold food. How any self respecting restaurant could ever send food out like this to a customer is beyond me.

I rang the restaurant they said they have to wait for more than two orders to your area. So this was there reason. Driver told me he pick up order 20 minutes before delivery to me. I think they should be more open. This isn’t the only late delivery from them. But this review is because there wasn’t an apology from the restaurant. They only admit to why it was late after I pushed for reasons

Although the delivery was late they kept me up to date and I didn’t realise the storm caused so much disruption and I applaud them for even making it (trees in roads, flooded roads and their car broke down) - food is great and their customer service is fantastic - I recommend ordering from them and will again!

Delivered far too early, on this occasion it wasn't too awkward but certainly not ideal.

The food was delivered on time and some of it was lovely but other parts were over cooked and dry. Such a shame.

The time went up and up we ordered at 6.30 it arrived at 8pm. It’s only allowing me to say it was 5 mins late but it was way over 40 mins later. Far too long for a Chinese take away. Also didn’t know what was gluten free and what wasn’t which I think is a must. We liked the food but my partner didn’t rate his choice.

For one falls advertising, it does not come with a drink with a certain amount of order portion size Is a joke. It’s in small containers charging you for large containers food is very salty and the most basic thing on the menu, chicken chow mein. Is absolutely terrible.

Fried rice was old and dry. Chicken satay was such poor quality - chewy chicken. Chow mein was good. Curry sauce yummy.

Crispy shredded beef was in gloopy sweet and sour like sauce. Yuck.

Spend over £10 for prawn crackers is a myth. Upset one fussy eater.

I rang the restaurant to ask when the food would be arriving and they put me on hold for 5 minutes u til I hung up. When it arrived the sauce had spilled from the cup and was in a pool at the bottom of the bag. The food was cold. Wouldn’t order again

So they sent chicken fried rice instead of chicken curry - when I called they said I could have a credit - but this left someone without dinner and meant for me to get my money back I would have to order with them again… which won’t be happening.

Bought a takeaway last night. Delivery ok but food terrible. Rice was disgusting and was like it had been warmed up from previous evening. Had prawn balls and chicken chow mein as well which was awful. Had to throw in bin. I was very sick in the night so had food poisoning as well. Will never go there again.

Delivery was quick but food wasn’t very nice.

The person who delivered my food looked like he just came out the kitchen. He had dirty welly boots on and his apron was filthy. That had already put me off my food. I don’t expect someone from a takeaway to delivery food dressed like that. It’s not a good image when ordering food. As for the food , it was cold and very ordinary. I will not be ordering from this Takeaway again.

The food was a mass of cold glutinous sweet and sour stodge and had to be thrown away. Delivery time was stated as between 20.05 and 20.25z I was received at text at 19.57 to say that the order was on its way, it arrived at 20.30; it took 33 minutes to arrive a distance of 3.8 miles, a 10 minute journey at most.

Very disappointed. !! Portion size was absolutely appalling spare rid 4 of the smallest ribs I’ve ever seen. The food was just warm . Never again .

Food ordered 6.15 for 7.35 delivery, arrived 8.05. Called restaurant to chase but they weren't bothered ("we're busy") and driver wasn't bothered either. Food was good but avoid if you have specific time requirements.
