So placed an order got told waiting time was going to be an hour and quarter which we were fine with it was 15 mins late (no problem) food was warm ! Ribs are ok chicken in lemon terrible, chow mien pork was burnt and the noodles we received arnt for chow mien almost for like a soup thin and short chicken balls disgusting even picked out a couple that were flat and square , prawn crackers dry tasteless days old sitting in a bag !! So spent 47£ we ended up throwing away and getting a mcdonalds! This is the first time using and the last !! Absolutely terrible!!!

This is our usal place we order from but last night....... This was the best Chinese we have ever had from here. Who ever cooked last night keep it up. The chilli chips and wings were absolutely fantastic.

On visiting my daughter we decided on a takeaway and chose Peking, what a find absolutely delicious one of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever eaten, looking forward to going back

Best Chinese ever! Honestly I love this place, great food, lovely staff willing to go the extra mile. Food is a little more pricey but definitely worth it. Recommend the salt and chill ribs!

All of our dine in experiences have been brilliant.. and we treat ourselves to a take away sometimes too and they are always delicious. Never a let down.. Definitely one of our favourite places to eat in the surrounding area.

Pretty typical high street Chinese / HK restaurant with a thriving takeaway service. Very good staff indeed with fine humour and attitude. Food was a mixture of ok and good; the duck dish needed more flavour but the lemon chicken was fine.

My partner and I fancied a Chinese and popped in late during the week for a takeaway. We placed our order and asked if we could pop over the road quickly. The gentleman who took our order did not seem best pleased, but gave permission. We thought this odd but returned in short order. The fellow appeared a bit quirky as he handed our order over and generally gave off an atmosphere that was no best pleasant. The food was to good standard, and on that side I would have recommended strongly - but the service left much to be desired. It was the worst part of an otherwise fantastic evening, and for that - 3 stars. Please work on your customer service and I will revise my rating. There are other places to visit in Harwich that offer customer service far more modernised and to a higher standard, and I had hoped for more from an otherwise brilliant place to eat.

Food came out near cold, starters over fried, waited over 40 minutes between starter and main to get to the table. Takeaway service seems to take president over the ajoining restaurant as takeaway orders kept flying past us whilst the children sat hungry. Friendly staff but will not be returning

Never had a colder or more tasteless meal than I experienced at the Peking Chinese. Will never return and I urge anyone thinking of getting a meal here to go to a proper Chinese restaurant.

Good food, not expensive and quick

I like this place. I can abscond and fade away into a quiet mental space as delicious food comes my way. I am partial to a great hot and sour soup. This...A pleasant surprise in the wilderness. The portions are good size without going over board. Pleasant staff do not hover, yet my table is always clear and my cider filled. Enjoyment on a quiet night.

A lovely meal as always with a great variety of dishes which are all put out on hotplates so you can help yourself. Very accommodating when I had to change the number of people at the last minute. Would highly recommend.

best Chinese in Harwich the taste & quality of the food is top notch :)

I lived and grew up in Hong Kong for 15 years. Take it from me this is the only place you should be buying Chinese food from in the whole of Harwich. The food is top drawer and the real deal. I have eaten Chinese food from all the other outlets in Harwich and their food is truly dreadful. *** It gets very busy at the weekends, if you want to eat at 9pm say - order your food at 7 30pm as you can wait up to 90 minutes for delivery. Worth the wait.
