Perfect place to eat if you’re a vegetarian - there’s virtually no meat in the chicken or lamb dishes! This used to be one of the best Indian takeaways in the area. Don’t know what’s changed, but the food is now both burnt and tasteless.

Cant beleive how Tastless the food is and 100% not an example of bangli food... i guess it must work for them based on their location. Waste of £35

Got over charged £16.60 for a curry chips rice and naan bread complained and was told its the new prices but still displaying old prices i think the guy behind the counter is just trying it on because tried to over charge by exactly £5.00 won't be using again

Just received a delivery from pearl bangal order masala chips came we're stone cold and not masala chips the tikka masala was like warm and the nan bread stone cold I called the restaurant and the attached of the guy in the phone was disgusting his language was aboustulty appoling I was recommended this place I'll never use it again if I was you I wouldn't bother

Well got a order off them off just eat . Had garlic nan missing . Ordered Mango chutney . At what point is Mango chutney like water colour in Red and taste off gone off water from a old mill pond covered in fly's. Chicken Buna was covered in greasy oil . Chicken Madras was more like a poor korma very poor . Delivery driver was very nice . And sorry . Did get money back for garlic naan

I give it 0 stars but that’s not possible so I give it a 1. Today I made an order and I received the most outrageous, unprofessional and rude experience ever. I place a order as delivery and when I called the restaurant to find out where my food was the restaurant manager hung up the phone on me and told me if I wanted my food I should go to the restaurant to collect it as all the driver have gone home. Baring in mind I paid for delivery fee and I live an hour away from the restaurant. The driver had no knowledge to leave my food with security and said they only wait between 2-5 minutes and after that they leave. I never once received a phone call from the driver and when I called the driver 4 times he refused my call. The man told me it is not his problem and I should deal with it on my own. It is 11pm in which world would a young girl go and collect food by herself from a far for something to happen to her or even the time I get home my food would of been cold and soggy. I am just shocked and appalled at how such a hospitality place could do such a thing. I will definitely will not be ordering for this establishment every again. My first and last time ever.

Rude staff Sent the wrong food out and then wouldn’t send me my correct order? Food came around 1 hour after ordering and managed to be the complete wrong order and cold food. I ordered masala sauce and got chips? Staff put the phone down on me multiple times after requesting for my correct order. Would not recommend at all. Ruined our takeaway night!!

Only ever ordered takeaway, and the salad arrives warm, the little green mint sauce is so weird, I got the wrong starter once and the garlic king prawn was more of an onion side with a little prawn on top. But my god the Garlic chicken Tikka. So good. I want to give this place five stars on that alone. Amazing rich red color and nice flavor that's not spicy. Easily my favorite.

The madras sauce was poor and tasted bland not spicy, the king prawn madras prawns were cut in half. I’ll not order again

Worst chicken balti I had in years. I ordered one medium spicy and one spicy! Medium spicy has no taste at all. It was sweet! The other one spicy but don't taste like balti at all. In both dishes only few pieces of chicken! If you ever tried proper Balti don't order from there you will be very disappointed

Have used you for 5 years and always liked your food untill last week the portion size had dropped considerbly smaller not enough for 1 person let alone 2 will not be ordering from you ever again

We have ordered from here a few times now. Brilliant service and the food is excellent. Can't fault them.

Half the order turned up didn't realise until started dishing it out, 15 minutes later the other half arrived an the food dished up was cold. Restaurant didnt offer anything in return. I expected the order to be redone an nothing was done. I expect to hear back else I won't be ordering or recommending to anyone else. Appalled.

Just had a pearl special curry never again it tasted so powdery the beef was burnt on the ends it was discusting just phoned up the restaurant to complain they what would u like for us to do for u we give u free curry next time I won't be ordering again from here waste of money

Food was early, it was very hot and well packed, and transported tidy, no spillage at all,and delivery brilliant. Food was absolutely delicious.

This is now our new indian takeaway. Food is piping hot and the best around the area. Always early and correct.

We had a delivery from pearl of Bengal last night. I Had a Tikka Main. My husband on the phone asked for ‘extra salad’. Well I couldn’t believe the amount of salad they sent. We did not ask for ‘a tiny bit of salad’ I had to prepare my own from my fridge. Please pay attention Pearl of Bengal in future! As the tikka was just fine. But was cold by the time I prepared my own salad. Not good.

I love the food food... Staff are really polite and order twice a week from here... Food has soo much flavour and life to it.

Ive been using this takeaway for a long time now but had a curry from here on 29/11/19 was the worst food ive ever ad they must have run out of chicken has there was only 4 pieces in the curry and the food was cold when it arrived and they put the prices up i would avoid this takeaway from now on not worth the money

The delivery driver called to say he was outside and had knocked. I went to the door ... no delivery driver. Found him at a neighbour's. He tried to say that the address on the receipt had a different door number and to to check my order .... my order had the correct address and door number. Felt like it was an excuse for not going to the right house. Food was nice but not very hot, had to heat it up to eat it. Not sure whether would order from again.

Food was nice but compared to our usual takeout it just wasn't up to par. The mint sauce was very runny little taste, the chicken pakora was nice a little powdery, the mixed grill was the main disappointment when it comes to quantity and quality for price at over £7 I was disappointed but still taste was okay. Didn't care for the type of cheese they used on the naan. The korma was brilliant best part of the meal by far! Probably won't use again unless our usual is closed only gave them a try as rated as legend. Delivery time brilliant driver was polite overall a general pleasant experience.

We have ordered from here for about a year and the delivery is always on time or early. The food previously has been delicious however the last 2 times (within 6weeks) there has been a change. The colour of the curries are different, the taste is bland and the consistency is watery (we usually order a madras and makhani). Maybe a change of chef?! It has put us off ordering from here again. Ashame as previously it was fantastic.

Absolutely love the food from here but my wife has banned me from having curry as she has to sleep next to me afterwards.....

Food was late. I think there is a new chef because my Pathia was not as good as normal, and it was a completely different colour. Could feel the powderiness of the spices in my curry. Chips were undercooked. Disappointed as I was really looking forward to it :(

The first time using the Pearl of Bengal, after reading the positive reviews and have to say it did not disappoint. The food arrived on time, piping hot with the presentation of the food and quality of ingredients being excellent. North Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken, Chicken Tikka Noorjahan Fusion and the Mumbai Ka Sapna are a great choice. Will certainly order again.

i always order indian food from here, but think i might have to look else where! the chicken was chewy, it was dry and there was not a lot of sauce making it very dry when it was with rice , after spending nearly £25 i expected better....

Really enjoyed the food it was great well presented and delivery was prompt and courteous i would certainly order from here again and recommend.

Delivery driver was clearly on drugs. He only had part of our order, restaurant didn’t seem to care either. Just eat to the rescue to refund us but now means we are without that item. Was given over an hour as the delivery time and was still late

As ever the food was delicious and a good amount. This is why the Pearl of Bengal is my go to on the rare occasions that I have takeaway.

You need to stop delivering your food in bags and packing the curry in the bottom, it is very hard to get them out easily and this is the second time I have lost my meal because of this as it can't be removed easily from the bag, USE A FOOD BOX NOT A BAG

Great food as always, currently my favourite place to order food from.

Delivery time was way too long (almost an hour from order) but it’s a 10 minute drive down the road. On the positive side the food was really tasty! Portion size of lamb chops & the samosa starter was ridiculous. I called & asked about the lamb chops portion prior to ordering (as it was going to be someone’s main) He said it’s usually two chops but if they are small he will put in three. They were tiny and he still only put in two. The samosa was tiny too... overpriced for what ur getting. Taste of the food was on point though... ordered from here many times before (just not for a while) and will still continue to order as we’ve never been let down on the quality of the dishes. Will probably go back to collecting any future orders in advance ... or just before we get too hungry. Had complaining kiddies 😩 Extra popadoms & sauce was a bonus Thanks Oh.... can u add paneer pakora to your menu pleeease?? 😁 lol
