Peacock Inn in Lincoln

Was looking for a place to on my return trip from Mablethorpe,had no luck enroute so decided to drive though Lincoln, and found the peacock was welcomed in and had a great meal 😋 service was excellent, definitely recommend 👌

Had a lovely lunch of the cajun chicken both of us loved it service was great too

A Christmas Eve lunch booking for my family. 24 people ranging from 80 years old down to 3 years old. Hannah and Rick were welcoming and attentive at all times. Everything had been organised and the afternoon was a great success. The food was delivered hot and on time and tasted lovely. Olly and Pots served us with smiles on their faces and nothing was too much trouble. The end result, the bill. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. More than reasonable. Overall I have to highly recommend this well run, clean and friendly establishment to all. Well done The Peacock team.

Great pub on Wragby road in Lincoln. Always a pleasure to enjoy a libation here. Very friendly bar staff, great food and atmosphere.

Visited here yesterday, very impressed, will maybe make it my regular haunt for a Saturday, enjoyed the big screens watching the football

We took our 2 grandsons here for lunch whilst staying nearby for the weekend.The ladies working were very welcoming and their customer service was fantastic. There was a good selection of food and drink and although a couple of items were unavailable,there were plenty of things on the money to choose.

Visiting family and taken to this restaurant for lunch. Food excellent we all had something different and all the meals were tasty, home cooked and well presented.

Haven't been here for a few years. We visited on a Friday at 5pm.The service was excellent and the meal was delicious and very filling. The staff were lovely really friendly. It has a nice atmosphere, there are good seating areas inside and outside . The car park is small but there is a public car park across the road. The Peacock is well worth a visit we will certainly be going again to try some of the other food on the menu.

A really friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere. The lady that served us was very welcoming and attentive. The food was delivered quickly and was fabulous. Would recommend a visit here. A great place and the young couple running it are a real credit to the pub chain.

Had a super meal there on Thursday

My husband and I were advised to try the Peacock Inn for dining. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. It was fresh and hot as expected, and we didn't have to wait long to be served. The restaurant is separate from the pub area, which is a bonus. For a pub with plenty of competition close by, it has a very high rating from us. I would definitely recommend 👌

Haven't been here for a long time but wasn't pleasantly surprised, had a lovely meal and great service.

This is the first time I have been to the peacock for a meal, well it c ertainly won't be the last. We ordered the curry and we're presented with a massive bowl of the most delicious homemade chicken curry and rice. Prices are very reasonable. The landlady is a delightful lady only too happy help. I highly recommend this pub.

Family get together. Food was good. Service was great by I assume the landlady. Will be back.

We just had a lovely roast meal .we had beef /gammon was superb. Sorry we did nt eat the red cabbage. I just don't like thyme. Was lovely done in the red wine tho. Staff were so nice and chatty. Felt welcome .only roast dinners today .waitress let me see daily menus def be bk to try a lot of them .the yorkies where brilliant as I m terrible at making them ha .only next time no gravy on top so make the huge crispy yorkie soggy .Thank you to all great food friendly feel .most def be back ...a lot 😋

Excellent experience, very clean and tidy, Chelsea offered excellent friendly service, the food was hot, fresh and well presented. I ordered a roast beef dinner and a children’s chicken dinner for my young daughter, the portions were very generous. I’d highly recommend and will definitely return.

The cleanest pub I have ever been in. They provide good food perfectly cooked and served with a smile. I wish I lived nearer I would give there every day. Well done and keep it up. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend it without reservation.

Went here for food but didn't know they didn't do food on Tuesdays.

An enjoyable boozer near the cathedral, and the special roast Yorkshire wrap was fantastic. Would certainly recommend, and it is extremely affordable given it is near the Bailgate! 😀!

Nice place, well worth a visit.

We went to celebrate my birthday 20 of us, adults and children, they could not have been lovelier, food was beautiful, service perfect ,no-one was left waiting for food it all came out at the same time and most importantly was hot. Thank you all at the peacock for making my birthday special, we will definitely be back xxxx

Nice staff, TV not too loud but found Sunday lunch a bit greasy/stodgy.

Peacock Inn is one of my favourite places to hang out in Lincoln! The owners are really nice people. I love to watch rugby or a football match there!

Friendly pub. Good selection of beers spirits and soft drinks. Sky sports. Dog friendly. Clean. Some parking on premises near to lots of attractions Cathedral, Castle, Bailgate. Well worth a visit.

Seemed like a good pub. Bar service was ok but they had managed to run out of all three of their cask ales 🤷 Must have been a very busy the night before.

Cosy pub fire was on nice and warm, Sunday lunch was ok but most of it frozen roasties instant mash frozen Yorkshire puddings which was disappointing, beef , veg and gravy was nice

A lovely pub. A real old fashioned pub with dogs in the bar. Staff were fantastic and the food was all you could ask for..we had a sharing patter and skin on chips and it was great. 100% recommend

Not been since pre covid. Its changed hands but food was fab, we booked last minute sat lunch time and got a table easily. Friendly staff, good menu , good portions. The chef clearly knows has to cook meat, chicken was succulent and steak was perfectly medium rare. All 4 of us were happy including 2 fussy kids. We will definitely return and have already recommended friends.

Got to the pub when it was not very busy, sat down and was told would be served soon to then wait 20 minutes while others who just got there were served first. Food took 45 minutes to arrive and was over cooked. Edit : this is the egg

Great food, brilliant service and always a good atmosphere. You're left alone by the staff but they are always on hand if you need something. Always come back when we're in Lincoln.

Food was average for the price paid Desert menus need sorting as we all wanted Desert but not what they were offering especially for kids who only wanted ice cream ... they had clotted cream ice cream really!!!

Like the pub and the food but only thing was that my hunters chicken had too much bbq sauce

Had a lovely meal, piping hot. I had the pie, hubby had fish and chips. Only disappointment was the hot drinks machine was.broken, so no tea or coffee.

Great service, very clean and comfortable. Drinks aren't over priced the food prices also are well priced too. Just had Sunday lunch and was fantastic. Staff are so polite and friendly and even let us go away with a "doggy bag" of leftover meat for my dog back home which was a class act from the staff. A lovely spacious beer garden area to sit in and enjoy your drinks in the nice weather which unfortunately we didn't catch today but still it's a very clean area with no shortage of ashtrays which customers must being using to effect because their weren't any cigarette butts laid about. Definitely going back to try some other menu items soon.

Sunday lunch in my opion very poor!! Frozen mash frozen roast potatoes and frozen Yorkshire pudding then just peas and carrots for veg...like I said very poor and won't be returning

Good atmosphere friendly staff and good food

Meals arrived hot (mainly) and in a timely fashion. I would not advise ordering food of the children menu, as children's food was microwaved pizza that was cold in the middle with a puddle of water I the middle. The adults food was all fantastic, though. it was worth the price for the meal and service. Hopefully, the children's menu can be improved in the future?

We spent a short holiday in the area and we had dinner at the Peacock each evening. The food and service was top notch and the staff were so friendly. I would recommend the Peacock to anyone. Great place. Steve and Freda.

Lovely staff shame about the food. Very disappointed with the standard of food, we have visited the Peacock many times over the years and can’t believe how downhill it’s gone. We even had our wedding reception 2yrs ago at your venue. Very sorry to see such a lovely restaurant go from excellent to very poor.

Good old style pub. Half bar and half restaurant serving good pub food. Good value.
