Delivery expected 9:10 to 9:30 now 10pm no delivery. They took cash on just eat. Won't use again. Guess have to get microwave meal out.

Got a text saying it was delivered never arrived. Deliveroo should take them off their site. If its too late to take the order dont take it, and don't mark it as delivered , scammers. Never order from them again. I live on me own in a quiet street 100% they never came near my front door.

Poor food - prawn toast looked terrible upon first opening which didn’t bode well. Cold, undercooked food plus order missing the staples of chow mein and fried rice which restaurant blamed on the delivery driver. Possibly the worst Chinese takeaway we’ve ever ordered so won’t be back.

Just ordered from here absolutely disgusting with the quality of food how can you serve someone burnt prawn toast with no prawns on it just sesame seeds, house chow mein no flavour watery taste and noodles tasted old the only thing I could eat was the chicken n sweetcorn soup which in fact was very nice 👍

I have given 1 star as there is no option for 0 stars. I ordered from here, delivery driver got lost, after directing him here he refused to come down our road as there wad a road closed sign, i explained it was open for access but he still refused and told me to cancel the order after having waited an hour for it. On phoning the resturant i revieved a whole load of verbal abuse from his wife words i couldnt understand and then she started screaming at me and then hung up on me. Absolutely discraseful, will never use this restaraunt again.

not sure what happened with all the one star reviews.. i've ordered from here many times, the food is always delicious and they make sure the box is full as it gets! don't listen to stars! try it yourself!

Delivery was an hour late. Food was tepid. Chicken balls, and wings way overcooked, dry as bones. Very disappointed. First and last time I'll use 😣

Completly messed our order up what a shame

My freind paid on card it said arrived on the said time but still waiting hour later as three orders we were last it was cold horrible and noway I eat here again I'd rather ask the health inspector to to and check the place as food cold and oily and put me of chinease ban bang chicken please nasty nasty cold chicken asked for barbecue sauce got cold sweet and sour prawn balls huh no chance they were like mush balls special curry cold oily and the cans of Fanta orange warmer than the food rather eat from a hamsters hut probably better avoid like the plague I won't even give it one star the 6 stars behind

I got told delivery would be 40 to 60 mins..it got to an hour and a half and still didn't arrive.. I rang up and the lady said it's on way half an hour later it still hasnt arrived I rang again and they said they short of drivers and would be here soon..but still no order was delivered!! bad customer service..lying about order time then not turning up!

Food shocking - see pictures of quality sent. Sent inedible spring rolls. Dripping in oil, so much so the contents were falling out the bottom. Chew on too.. what was worse when I called, no apology, just guy saying so.. sooo what do you want.. disgusting never again! Rice was just as bad.. who cooks in this much oil.

Always great food, they did us a fantastic meal for 10 people on new years eve, delivered as agreed, never disappointed.

Hour and 20 mins late after pre ordering, wouldn’t answer the phone so ended up driving there. Poor state of a takeaway inside once we got there to get our money back, so didn’t want the food anyway.

Food turned up an hour late AND cold. Woman on the phone had no clue what was going on

ordered food off just eat and arrived an hour later with the wrong order so I called them back and they said that my correct order is on its way. 20 minutes later I recieved a call saying that they can’t make the food I asked for because they were closing. So I ended up paying £11.50 for mushroom fried rice.. Very unhappy! I would like a full refund!

Unfortunately we have had a bad experience with this place. Food missing from the order and then when it eventually arrived it was wrong and not nice at all. Would not recommend or use this place again.

BUG and HAIR in the food!! If I could leave NO starts that would be my rate. Tonight we've ordered for the first time some Vietnamese food at the Peacock House. First of all it arrived 1 hour late and while eating we've found this DISGUSTING stuff in our food. You know when you're chewing your meal and your BF pick up something black from his plate? And you know already what it is, but are kind of hoping that your inner instinct is wrong? Well...it really wasn't. I still can't control myself from screaming "It's a F*****G BUG!!!!!" NEVER TAKE ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. Also, if one of us is going to get ill, this will be the proof of it! (1 June 2018)

Always beautifully cooked and well presented delicious food

Put it this way if you were to go here and see for yourelf(the google image says it all really) you would not eat from here,i live close and witnessed large black flies alive and dead,the man who was gong to serve me came from out the back with food on his hands,the front when you walk in looks like they have not bothered about this place for a long time,peeling paint dirt,cobwebs AVOID IT IS HEALTH RISK
