Peaceful Take Away in Cannock Chase

Don't know why so many mixed reviews. Prices and food not bad at all . Spare ribs are lovely, meat falls of the bone. Best around. How someone can give 1 star is beyond me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was a few to many onions in my curry, but maybe I should have asked to leave them out . Nice people I'm sure they would have.

Have been using the Peaceful for a few years, and their service has always been good, however recently I suffered a nasty bout of food poisoning from their special chow mein that put me in bed for 2 days with D & V. Can only think its from the pork, chicken or prawns, possibly reheated. Had nothing else to eat that day that could have been the cause. Wont be returning sadly as this has totally put me off.

This is the best chinese in the area in my opinion would definitely recommend this place to anyone the foods lovely 🔥👌

4 yrs since I've used peaceful take away as I've moved bk to this area ....Not as good as the one I've had in chads Moore....... recently kun po chicken and it was £3 more ........ expensive

I have being using Peaceful takeaway for many years now. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I've had food from this place in the past and has been ok but last night I ordered special curry with literally 4 chunks of meat and 1 prawn. Wouldn't order agen. Ripoff

Absolutely disgusting food tonight! Chicken balls were vile! Some were even pink! Curry sauce had no taste, very bland. Chips were rock hard, ordered salt and pepper but they were just plastered in a salty peri peri or something with a couple of onions in the bag. Had hardly any selections of pop so didn’t even get a drink to go with Wouldn’t use again!

Meal was so nice and delivery was not long. For the price good amount food

I have used a lot of Chinese take aways in Cannock/Burntwood/Lichfield//Rugely areas and have always been pretty happy but at this one I have never had such a vile chemical tasting greasy Chinese food in my life……after a few mouthfuls we all put it straight in the bin, don’t know if they have washed with chemicals and not rinsed properly…..but the oil was just too much!!!

Food is perfection, not overly salty like lots of takeaways, lovely friendly staff young and old best takeaway for sure

I've eaten in lots of city's and countries Thai and Chinese and in my opinion the peaceful is 1 of the best places,always very fresh ingredients. The beef rendang is beautiful!

Not happy at all just had delivery food bland chicken fried rice witch was boiled rice peas no onions very Greece same as noodles curry sauce bland witch went in bin best part meal was b/q spare ribs

Always impressed, great food and lovely people who run the take away - I phone order through for collection and they say 10-15mins. Delivery is never very long either tbh!

Another scrumptious meal from Peaceful Takeaway this weekend... Have been using them for a number of years and thought it's well over due in giving them the 5 stars they totally deserve. Thank you for a great service.

Having moved to the area recently, I have used Peaceful Take Away a few times and each time has been a pleasant experience and the food is delicious all at very reasonable prices too.

Well i mist say i am extremely disappointed, i have been using this takeaway for years, with lovely food and good service. I have just had a delivery and it was the most bland and undercooked chinese i have ever had in my life. The chicken fried rice had no colour or flavour, the chips were undercooked and the prawn toast was practically raw. I called them and said what had been delivered, the person said sorry, but this is just not good enough, i have recommended this place to many friends in the past. Now i will never use it again Ok, so i have just received a visit from the person whom i called to complain about my meal. He has given me my money back and personally apologised for the awful meal i had delivered. I did not ask for this, but it is nice to know that they care about their customers, and will be investigating what happened. Many thanks for your gesture Tracy

Secret treasure the food is consistently outstanding

It may look run down but all Chinese takeaways do, however this should not deter you from the place as the food and service is amazing! The food comes out in plastic containers within 10 minutes and is piping hot so by the time you get home the deliciously flavoured food is still hot and ready to eat. But customer service is also excellent so the only thing you need to worry about is the parking on the one way road!

We have food from here regularly and it is always very nice and great value for money. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Tried beef and chicken and neither tastes like real meat. Food containers were not filled to the top bit strange
