Absolute jokes to have a portion of two crab claws for £8,00!!! What is it made of, Blue Lobsters? The Pad Thai is the worst I’ve tasted. Never again here, blocked! 🚫

Arrived 2.5 hours late. They lied about delivery time when rang and hung up multiple times.

40 minutes late, lied about delivery time when we called and restaurant rang us while we were still eating demanding we update the app so they get paid! No apology. Food was average. Go elsewhere…much better options locally!

The food taste and quality was really low. I struggled to eat one dish because it was Really salty. I ordered in the past from them and I decided to give them a second chance and I was disappointed both times.

Yet again the food takes an ages (90 mins and counting) to be delivered despite being told on more than one occasion by the restaurant it is close by. It then turned up cold. Have given this restaurant too many chances now so won't be using them again.

Never received my order. At least be honest if you can't complete order. Waited 2 hours never arrived. When complained to uber order got cancelled as they couldn't contact the restaurant.

Ordered from here a couple of times. Last time I ever order from here! Absolutely atrocious service, atrocious delivery times over 3hrs late. Food cold and missing 3-4 items. Rang to speak to someone and nothing but rude. Inconsiderate and more excuse after excuse after excuse on why it’s late. It’s on its way, it’s 5 minutes away. To then recieving phone calls saying it’s not AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Lovely Food, Changed many aspects!

I wish I'd read these reviews before ordering through Uber Eats. Rice - lumpy, Chicken Satay and Beef - both inedible - so dry and tough. Sesame toast - average but squashed. Such a shame - and cost a fortune! Shall never buy from here again.

Im in shock. Ive just got my order through Just Eat. The rice has no taste not even salt nothing. The vegetables has no taste they are just steamed or cooked thats it. I ordered Banana Fritters too and when I opened the box it was soaked so much goin to pieces. Absolutely disgusting.

Had wrong and missing items. Staff Implied i was lying. Instead of apologising and refunding or delivering the item chose to argue about it. Will never go again. What a POS

Placed an order through Just Eat, got a message 40 mins later to say the order would be delayed. Called to enquire and the guy was immediately rude and abrupt. Asked to cancel as I didn’t want to continue to wait and he developed a major attitude problem. I think he’s lost his passion for his work.

I have had good food from here before but wasnt impressed when they got my food order wrong and then tried to fob me off to head office when i complained . Be wary of ordering from here

Have ordered in the past with no issues. Today the portion size was ridiculously small; the container was virtually empty. When I called to enquire I spoke to a very rude and unhelpful person who told me the portion size was not reduced and nobody else had complained, implying I was lying. I offered to send pictures but this was declined. Very dismissive and no customer service skills. I was offered a refund of less than £2 with no date of the refund. Was given the manager's number to discuss, but no-one answered. Unfortunately I will not be ordering from Paya again, haven't got money to throw away.

Without doubt this is the best Thai food I have ever had.

First time ordering from PAYA and I would like to say it was really good..arrived on time still lovely and hot which surprised me as I'm in abbey wood..driver was polite as well..I will definitely be ordering again

I have been using paya for a number of years. It isn't as good as it was when it first opened. One exception is the Singapore spicy noodles.

I wasn't going to write a review until I called for the third time to see where the order was, seeing as at this point it was an hour late, and the guy answered the phone with a very abrupt hello and a terrible attitude as if I was disturbing him at this point. No apologies for the delay, no attempt at decent customer service. I used to order from Paya when it was in Welling and it was brilliant. Whoever has taken over from then has driven the name of this restaurant into the ground. Very disappointing experience with, to be brutally honest, average food. Would not recommend and certainly won't be using again. Appreciate others have had a good experience and I'm pleased some people have but customer service is very important to me and I would advise others to avoid this particular restaurant. UPDATE: my pregnant missus is now (5 hours later) experiencing food poisoning symptoms.

Delivery time 3 Hours. Food was RUBBISH why was I charged "Service charge"? whats service charge for? what exactly? I am paying extra for delivery and card payment too? Why steal money?

I’ve ordered from here a handful of times and they’ve been just ok: not terrible enough to warrant a fuss but still disappointing. This time they were an hour late, old man was rude to me over the phone and each item of the order was either burnt, sopping with grease or completely the wrong type of food. Ordered online at half 11, got a phone call from the restaurant to say it would be delivered at half 12. At 1am my food had not been delivered, restaurant refusing refund and extremely rude on the phone. Waste of time and money on top of an empty stomach

Doesn't even deserve one star. 15 minutes walk home to discover one dish was missing. Called the shop who agreed to deliver to me. I simply asked how long it would be as we were eating, to be told calm down madam we are very busy 😡. Food was chewy and dry. Complete waste of £45.

Ordered food an hour and a half ago. The shop quaranteed its on the way. Just recently stoped picking their phone up. Im type one diabetic that already took insulin so now i guess will have to get an ambulance instead.

Firstly having to register to order is strange, but when ordering it was not that straight forward. Then the pricing is expensive but I thought it will be good food. It arrived late and cold. Just a I went to th wrong road and house. Then left. Food was cold, chicken rubbery, spring rolls under cooked and flabby. Prawn toast flabby, prawn balls tacky , noodles ok. These people are a disgrace. My step sons 21st birthday and he wanted a Chinese so we ordered from here the food totalled to £110 so you would think they would ensure the food was fresh and edible. THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE! Food was stale snd cold noodles tasted bland and was hot in the middle and cold around the edges ( as if microwaved) there was not one item that was edible and to top it when we called the restaurant to complain they were disgustingly rude to us they said they would collect the food and refund it but when they arrived to collect they was aggressive used threatening behaviour and refused to refund the money. 2 weeks later they ignore our calls and texts we’ve sent them bank details and we have still not received any form of refund. We’ve reported them to trading standards are taking it further. Absolutely disgusting rude and vile staff DO NOT USE THIS CHINESE!!!!!! Rudest people I’ve ever dealt with

I ordered food food was delivered to wrong address. They have no customer skills was told I would receive a refund and didn't. Spoke to restaurant if that's what you can call it. was told manager would call me back on 3 occasions and didn't. Still awaiting call back just eat are aware but haven't replied as yet been 2 weeks now I think they are as bad as each other

Really surprised at the bad reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh, hot and tasty the food was. Lots of veg in the veg chow mien, which was all fresh and not overcooked (like most Chinese takeaways). Crispy shredded beef was tasty and came with lots of sauce. Only thing that let it down was the tiny pot of satay sauce that was very runny. Would definitely order again and was very surprised how good it was for a Sunday afternoon order (was worried it would be the leftovers from Saturday night).

Very poor service over the phone, was spoken to very rudely. Food arrived an hour and a half late, no surprise it was stone cold. Order was wrong and hair was found in my chicken chow mein. Strongly wouldn’t recommend

Service charge for a takeaway? And a delivery fee that we was not told about , even though I'm 5 mins away and spent over £40 , Food was no better,. Hard rice and cold, curry sauce was like water, Would never ever eat from this place again. Much better places about which don't charge you for service charge and delivery fee! I did complain on the phone but they didn't want to know what I had to say Poor management!! Trust me go else where.

Eaten at many of these paya restaurants for 10 years and always found it fantastic food. Especially the Waltham Abbey branch. But ordered a takeaway from the sidcup branch this evening and it was absolutely terrible. Half cooked/ raw fish is not only horrible to eat but also dangerous! Plain disgusting tasteless food thrown straight in the bin. Wasted £30....

Me and my family used this takeaway for the first time. I never normally leave reviews at all at places that we ate at but really wanted to warn poeple before spending your hard earn cash here. The food was absolutely awful! I've ate many tai, Chinese foods in my time and this has to be the worst I've ever eaten. The rice was rock solid, the curry sauce was in the smallest cartons I've ever seen and was very watery and tasteless. Chic curry was absolutely bland. The squid was so hard I almost broke my teeth on it. Chips looked like they had been sat there for days. We basically left the majority of what we had ordered. We also got charged service charge plus delivery fee which we were not prewarned about. Especially when we spent nearly £50.this should be free. I only noticed this when I received my receipt. I did call the restaurant to let them know about the food. I was told the manager was not there to speak to me and that they would ask him to call me to discuss a refund for the food in which we did not eat. It's been 4 weeks and the manager still has not rang me. If he had rang me to resolve this issue, I would have not given this review but seeing as he did not have the decency to call me then this gives me no option. He obviously has no experience in managing a business at all!!

Best Thai green curry I had in ages. The ribs and other Chinese dish my partner had was good too. The food arrived within the given waiting range and it was hot. I m glad I didn't read the reviews beforehand as probably wouldn't order form here but as ordered from Just Eat it saved me from that which was great as like I said it was one of the best takeaways I had in months.

My go-to Chinese takeaway. High quality food compared to other local options. There seems to be a coordinated internet review attack on this establishment as I have only ever had good food here.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! AVOID! I placed an order on Just Eat and we found a black bug in our food so immediately stopped eating it and sent the entire order back, including the side and dessert which we didn't open. They said they were going to give us a full refund but it has been over a week and we still have not received it after having called to chase it several times.

Good food, when it arrives, delivery can be a little unpredictable. every time we call the shop the delivery driver seems to magically appear. very good food especially commend the chicken balls

I saw chinese Chef Went to Toilet and then Came out and did NOT wash Hands... Disgusting Bastads. All the "Good" 5 stars reviews are from Manager and His Family Members.. Manager has 16 Kids.. Takes Full Housing Benefit and Disability Allowance... and works at his own family shop 7 days of tbe week. 85 hours.. Earning over £1200 per week. BENEFIT CHEAT.. Benifit Fraud... HMRC fraud. The food was way overcooked to the point it was inedible. If the food was edible the portion sizes would have been too small and when I called up to complain I was left on hold while they dealt with an in shop complaint. Terrible! Sweet and Sour chicken hong kong style was DISGUSTING. Soft Shell Crab was salty. They need to take notes from Paya in Brixton Hill. OVER PRICED and just terrible. Honestly disappointed knowing that I can no longer order from the Brixton branch.

Very good Thai option in the area, surely among the best! Delivery took a bit and price is slightly high but worth the wait and the money. This place has very good reviews on just eat, I don't understand the bad scores in here. Totally recommended!

Cancelled the order for no reason and when I rang them to find out why they said that I was a child and did a prank order. How do you just assume something like that?? Pathetic and rude man on the phone refusing to believe that it was a genuine order. The most ridiculous thing I've ever experienced. Although, to be fair, judging by the previous reviews, it was probably for the best and I was lucky not to have tasted any of the food!!

POSITIVE REVIEWS MUST BE FAKE. I mean you can SEE how most are one STAR. DONT ORDER FROM HERE THE MOST DISGUSTING FOOD EVER!!!!! We preordered our food at 4, Keep in mind that this place is only ten minutes away from my house on car, the estimated time was 5, but then they pushed it to 5:15. They lied about the food being dispatched because they didn’t want to slightly alter one of the meals (make it spicy). They lied about traffic on the way and actually came LATE to deliver the food. The portion sizes were ridiculously small, the food was expensive. This would’ve been fine, except the food was DISGUSTING. It was vile, it had no flavours except for cheap seasoning you get from a corner shop. These people don’t know food AT ALL. Ordered a pad Kee mao and got HOFUN instead. Refused to give a refund unless they got their food back and at 6pm they told us they wouldn’t come to collect the food until 11pm!!!!!!!!!! Had to get half of money refunded from just eat. THE MOST DISGUSTING RESTAURANT EVER, REPULSIVE FOOD ABBHORENT CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE!!!!! ANYWHERE ELSE WOULD BE BETTER

Generally a good option if you want Chinese/Thai food options. The thai green curry is OK, their coconut rice is great. This place has a vast menu, its worth trying at least once. My experience of them has been generally good. They have a portable card machine for payment which is good but they do charge an extra 50p for this.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! Was waiting for delivery 2 hours and it was not delivered at all. Some poor agent (2nd one I spoke with) from Hungry house gave me this information: Nico understandable Ok so getting some confusing information the restaurant is saying they haven't received the order So I'm not sure why you were told that it was on the way I can see they did receive the order but for somereason they are denying I will process a full refund and send some compensation to your hungryhouse account in good faith so sorry this happened!

I am disgusted that I've paid £40 for a Chinese and it's 1) arrived 30 minutes late 2) have got my order WRONG and 3) after the man finally found my address, as he couldn't use the sat nav provided!!!!!! I sent it back after taking 2 bites from each dish - how else can you check what it tastes like! Hey said hey are not giving me refund, but I can have 50% off. Seriously? Clearly says they close at 23:30 on Google. I call up @ 23:25 for a collection. Rude person. Clearly has no interest in customers. I won't bother to ever call here again. Fine, more money in my pocket rather than theres. Dunno what the food is like, but cannot imagine it being any good of the attitude is a bit Kurt and short with you.

We made an order which they delivered wrong, overcharged us and when we queried politely by phone were met with the rudest response, they guy was cold and rude, we asked for our money back for the overcharge and they charged us for the refund!
