What an excellent find, tucked away in the corner of Beccles Common. Our Springer Cookie was first through the door and made very welcome. We sat outside in some very comfy garden chairs had a coffee and tea with a sausage roll and cheese scone, if it wasn’t cheesy enough came with an extra pot of cheese. Both came warm and hit the spot. Service was excellent and very reasonably priced £15 for our delights. Good place for a break after a dog walk although I do feel I would walk out of my way if I was in the area again

I stopped off at Paws for Tea for some lunch and a coffee. I ordered a cream cheese & sundried tomato pitta, this was really tasty and well presented, but best of all was the coffee, it was delicious. I will definitely come again.

As always great food, cooked to perfection. Lovely friendly service and great with the dogs. Also, they are open throughout October - Friday, Saturday and Sunday which is great news. Shall make sure we visit before the end of October. Can recommend the Sundried Tomato, Pesto and Mozzaralla Panini - delicious.

Just wow, super dog friendly and staff welcoming. We stopped here for a coffee and cake after a long dog walk. All of the coffees and more importantly the cake was lovely, the carrot cake was the best I have ever tasted. Nice man served us, spent time to ask about our holiday and very COVID safe. Couldn’t fault and wish we had time on our hols to go back there!

Treated my partner to a birthday afternoon tea and it was just amazing. All the food was perfect and well presented. We had a complete three tier cake stand laden with sweet and savoury goodies, and then a second arrived so we in fact had one each! The staff were so attentive and made a point of acknowledging his birthday.Up there with the best of the teas that we have experienced.

We were on holiday in Lowestoft and fancied going out somewhere for a nice slice of cake and tea. My partner googled dog friendly places ax we har our 7 m8nth old puppy with us, and this place popped up. We drove 30 mins from our caravan to get here but it was worth it! The tearoom is by the large common which is great for walking dogs. Covid measures in place were spot on. Made to feel welcome and we chose to sit outside. Dog water bowls provided, and staff happily offer doggy treats to the dogs, what a great idea. Lovely setting, need something like this where I live! I chose an egg mayo sandwich, my partner had the cream tea, and my children had a cheese scone and a cheese and pickle sandwich, all very tasty and we even just about managed to squeeze in a slice of cake, the carrot cake was amazing, so moist, and one of the best I've tasted. Well done, this is a great place, thank you.

I have been to this lovely friendly cafe on Beccles common many times. It's perfect for a cup of tea, snack or light lunch during your dog walk and it's genuinely dog-friendly with plenty of water bowls, dog mats and treats. However many dogs are there at one time, there never seems to be a cross woof! Maybe that goes to show that our doggie pals are better behaved than people!!

Found this wonderful cafe, in Beccles, today. It’s dog friendly indoors, which is great, and makes delicious home-made food. A proper tea room, in a lovely setting. Good for morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon tea. Very clean, and well equipped for every member of the family. We had toasted cheese and onion sandwiches, and home-made victoria sandwich cake. Treats for our pup too. Ideal, whether or not you enjoy a walk on the common. First-class. Will definitely return for more.

We decided on Paws for Tea while in Beccles ‘cos we liked the cute name (and the reviews were good). It’s a lovely bright, clean and inviting space with plenty of seating outside for walkers with their dogs. We had homemade soup that was very tasty and service was friendly - I would definitely recommend a visit and we will return for a slice of cake next time we’re in the area.

It was a lovely day so we decided to go to Beccles as we hadn't been there for a couple of years. Did a Google search before leaving home for dog friendly cafes and up came Paws for Tea. After a lovey walk around the common we reached the cafe. As it was such a lovely day we sat outside and read the menu. Shock, horror - no cream teas!! I asked the waitress if they did cream teas and to my surprise she said it could be arranged. A very happy me!Very dog friendly with plenty of water bowls and treats. When next in Beccles we certainly know where to head!

After a walk around the common, tea and cake at Paws for tea has almost become tradition now! The service is good and the staff are excellent. They are friendly and understanding about gluten free dietary requirements. There are always at least 2 gluten free cake options. The cafe is well adapted to accept dogs, free treats are offered at the till and there is an overall great family atmosphere. The staff cannot do enough for you!

A must if you are going for a walk on Beccles Common. Pop in for a light bite or just a drink, we did today. A lovely cheese and onion toasty with salad and crisps, hubby had cheese scone. Wonderful hot chocolate complete with paw print on the top. Very friendly staff and welcomed our dog inside the cafe and a treat for her too. Hooks indoors and out to clip your dogs lead to so you are hands free.

This dog friendly tearoom is excellent for lunch. They made a fuss of my dog, offering her unlimited treats. The food was fresh and well prepared and the cakes were delicious. Delightful. We didn't know this existed until we came upon it by chance. Quite a walk from the car park on Beccles Common but worth it. Very pleasant. Very clean. The cafe itself is a new modern wooden chalet with grass areas surrounding it. Very sheltered so on a sunny day, sitting outside is very relaxing and pleasant. Good variety of cakes and sandwiches. Very pleasant people who run it. Dog friendly and child friendly. Will be going again in the near future

This cafe is excellent, lovely coffee, fantastic cakes, very friendly service. The place is amazing, it's part of the boarding kennels but you're away from that and you don't notice that at all. It's situated on Beccles Common so is a very nice setting. The cafe is in a new building that has an excellent design and everything has been thought of. There's indoor and outdoor seating, all with a lovely ambience. The place is secure for children and dogs with a lot of toys for children to play with, toy tractors etc and fittings on the walls inside and out to attach your dog's lead. Inside there are even mats for dogs to sit on and again clips to attach your dog's lead to. There's a free treat jar for you to give your dog a treat. The place is sooooo clean even though it's very dog friendly. It also sells locally made 'proper' icecream. What a gem, a must to visit!

Took us a while to find this place but so glad we did. Modern small cafe inside (but good outside seating too) very dog friendly. We were two couples and two dogs all made very welcome. Sandwiches and scrummy toasties all came with good fresh salad and crisps so more a meal than snack. Great coffee too. Cakes looked nice but too full to try them. Excellent value and lovely service. Definite highlight of our holiday.
