Paws for Coffee in Richmond upon Thames

Cannot fault the lovely lady who runs this place or the staff, they were amazing to both my dogs, one of which is a Bullybreed, so can sometimes be a little daunting ,but these ladies had absolutely no problem with my dogs at all., thank you for a lovely experience and great coffee.

Unfortunately had a very bad experience with this place, it turns out she is not a dog lover and actually hates bully breed dogs, her name is Louise and the service and attitude from her was actually very upsetting and unprofessional. I would highly recommend going somewhere else where you will be welcomed. I will never spend my money here and I can’t believe she actually runs dog classes, she should definitely not be running any sort of training and maybe should rethink her direction in life because I don’t think doing anything involving dogs is a good choice for someone with her temperament.

Very disappointed. Bad owner, rubbish food and cold coffee. Also supports her dad on her business page to ban the Xl Bully, yet happily states that all dogs are welcome in her shop !! So which is it Louise? Are you for or against?

Coffee was cold and imo so is the heart of the owner. Happy to take your money, but the statement all dogs welcome can not be taken as true. Owner openly supports her dad who wishes for all XL Bullies to be banned. Another breed to be added to a list that has proven not to work, yet thousands of dogs that will fit a tape measure to be destroyed just because of the way they look.

A superb cafe serving absolutely spot on coffee. There’s probably only a handful of cafes I’ve ever found that manage to serve such a good flat white. Perfect temperature, velvety smooth and well presented. Worth the visit just for the coffee alone! On top of the coffee, breakfasts are really tasty. I’ve tried a few over the past month or two and each one has been delicious. Last but not least, it’s obviously a dog friendly cafe so a perfect place to stop after walking your dog in bushy park. Very impressed with this lovely little cafe. A real gem

As tourists we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and coffee close to our hotel, and I Googled Paws for Coffee. What a unique and endearing little place. It was a Saturday morning and everyone and their dog turned up. Breakfast was good, although no mushrooms as advertised, coffee was excellent, and as dog lovers, the overall experience was something we will remember as visitors for a long time - well done! Highly recommended.

Great little coffee stop on our doorstep and in a great location next to Bushy Park. We regularly pop in for coffee and a pastry before continuing on a walk - the brownies are so good.

I have passed this establishment a few times on my cycle ride so recently I have stopped for coffee and a snack. Today I visited and had the breakfast wrap and a cappuccino. Service was quick and the wrap was full of egg bacon sausage and tomato. It was very filling. It does get busy at weekends with a queue . There are a few outside tables so be prepared. Plenty of hand sanitiser and wipes available so Covid safe.

I came here to get a coffee - was shouted at by the member of staff that they weren’t open yet at 8.58 am. I went elsewhere.

A long queue because of lock done but well worth the wait. Served by lovely staff and spitting distance from Bushy Park. Lovely coffee and an even better Brownie - peanut butter and jelly - simply stunning.

Pretty average food and service. We popped in for a fry up on a Saturday morning. Nothing to rave about. Food was ok, priced reasonably, not much room inside and is freezing due to them propping open the door, despite it being closed by a customer.

Great place to stop off for Coffee and Cake, or All day breakfast on your way to, or from the park (gate across the road). Very Doggie friendly Cafe (in and out), with Gluten Free options across the menu, as well as Treats for pampered pooches too. Service is fast and tables are turned quickly, but there is no pressure to move on.

Lovely cafe- dog friendly, delicious food and great coffee. Really nice atmospheric coffee for both humans and dogs! We ordered the manwich which was extremely tasty and a good sized portion. The coffee was really authentic and our dog wolfed down her puppchino which she thoroughly enjoyed. All of which came to a very affordable price. Would definitely visit again!

Stopped here for lunch after a walk round Bushy Park, with the family and two dogs. Lovely, friendly staff, great food and excellent coffee. The doggy treats are an excellent extra, the puppuccinos went down very well!

We had a fantastic lunch here. Paninis were delicious, the team were super friendly and accommodating of my dog’s allergies. Perfect location just outside the park gates. It was very busy which is lovely to see! Only small objection is that there was a male manager who was clearly unwell/coughing which isn’t great when food is being prepared. But I understand scheduling can be difficult and these sort of things can’t be helped. Overall a 10/10 visit

This is such a sweet cafe, sadly no dogs on our visit but we had a manwich (avocado, bacon and halloumi) and it was delicious as was the chocolate peanut butter brownie.

I came to paws as a large group of six adults and four kids and the staff did their utmost to accommodate us. Despite the challenges of a large table our food arrived mostly together and was delicious. What a lovely little cafe.

Lovely dog friendly cafe opposite the park in a perfect location! Our dog loves the ‘puppaccinos’ and the human food and drinks are lovely too!! Staff are friendly and welcoming. A small cafe so you may have trouble getting a seat but quite a quick turn around of people coming and going. Wish there were more cafes like this one around!!

Lovely vegan toastie and lots of photos on the walls of doggos who have visited before. Also a mini dog merchandise concession inside. All round a happy place to eat.

Me and my lovely wife Angela stumbled across this little gem after a walk in Bushy park. We decided to sit outside as it was a hot day and our dog was also extremely happy as water was provided. I ordered a falafel,hummus and red pepper toasted sandwich, my other half just ordered a flat white and we found both just delightful after our morning walk. Very interested in the dog training as well.

Had a very enjoyable breakfast before equally lovely walk in Bushy Park. Veggie breakfast was tasty and healthy. Will return. Dog loved his sausage too.

Excellent full English, staff friendly and best of all they like dogs. Will definitely go again. Small breakfast was more than adequate and the large breakfast a feast.

I came across this cafe by chance during my walk. What a lovely place for people to be able to come with their dog, it was a nice atmosphere and so handy near bushy park. A very cheerful man served me and I really enjoyed my coffee and cake. Beng an animal lover it was nice seeing all the photos of their various visitors and also the variety of doggies that happen to be in the cafe at the time. I will definitely be returning.

Recommended to me by a friend, we called-in earlier today for a quick coffee and snack. Really friendly staff, and popular with dogs who brought their owners with them. Seating is limited inside but was a nice enough March morning to sit outside.

Stopped for tea and cake, and added a doggy treat from the simple but delicious looking menu. Sat outside in the sun and had a relaxed 30mins rest before setting off into Bushy Park - gate just across the road. Chocolate muffin rated 5/5.

This is one of my favourite local cafes, and our dogs love it too. The staff are always smiling and the manager is one of the friendliest women you will ever meet. If you are visiting Bushy Park, or just passing by, and love dogs then you must pop in!

I go there quite regularly with my family as a little treat out! It’s amazing! Very friendly, very good with dogs, absolutely delicious food, wide range of tables inside and out! Very welcoming and kind! Prices are very good! Just amazing!!!!!

Disappointingly small breakfast, on a small plate, sitting at a cramped table, questionable service, and windows running with condensation. Three times is enough for me. Food standard hygiene rating of 5. Very well done.

We come here regularly at the weekends as a family with our dog, the food and staff are wonderful and very friendly and the cafe is perfectly positioned by Bushy Park for a post walk coffee or breakfast... or any time of the day! highly recommend!

I’ve been here a few times as I live right round the corner. In the summer it’s bright and airy with the doors and windows wide open, and in the winter it’s warm and cosy with steamed up windows and the smell of cooking wafting around! And of course the best part - it’s filled with dogs!!

We regularly come to Paws4C with our dog. It’s a cosy little cafe with a surpringly extensive menu. The food and hot drinks are really great. It can get busy at times but the staff are always super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were once sat outside and our dog knocked a table over breaking a lot of china; the staff were so kind and understanding and didn’t make us feel bad at all. It’s conveniently located close to Bushy Park- perfect to pop in before or after a doggy walk! The doggie menu is really sweet and our dog literally pulls us down the street because he loves Paws so much! Can thoroughly recommend!

This café has blossomed from day one, situated opposite Bushy Park, which is a well known dogs walkers paradise, it is always quite busy mainly morning coffee, and lunch times, dogs are welcome, with water and a range of dog biscuit on hand, on sunny days, tables and chairs, are popular outside, also of course teas coffees, and snacks for the dog owners.

What an amazing place. Fantastic menu and the attention to detail is absolutely first class. Lovely, friendly staff. We will definitely be back xx

Just love this place, pure dog heaven awaits you. My dog was greeted and offered a piece of sausage his favourite treat so that sealed the deal. I ordered a soya cappuccino and Freddie had a puppachino. We enjoyed the relaxed environment knowing that we were in a dog friendly environment. Seating outside available. I had had a walk in Bushy Park with Freddie so this place is ideal. Will visit again...Freddie can't wait!

If you are a dog lover or owner you will not be disappointed. It’s got loads of dog friendly treats and the human menu is great too . We had a delicious smoothie the full breakfast and the avo bacon toast - generous and satisfying .

We visited Paws for Coffee a while ago. Hot drinks were lovely and our pup got to have something to eat too! While the concept behind the place was lovely our experience wasn’t great.

A dream for dogs and their owners, lovely relaxed coffee shop with good food and drink for the humans and delicious treats for the paw ones.

This little cafe has such a wonderful community atmosphere. The owner really cares about dogs (as well as people) and often pops out to share a bone biscuit with the 4 legged customers. Coffee is great as is breakfast and cakes. Sandwiches could do with some work for content and presentation but the welcome and the laid back approach is well worth the visit after a walk in the park, which is just across the road. Parking is a challenge but stick with it, you will want to come back. You can get an ice cream to take away to!

I popped into paws for coffee recently with my husband and our dog. The service was excellent . The owner personally came to say hello and chatted to us, we placed our order and when asking about vegan choices she showed me a lovely raw cake and told me all about the company she buys from, it was delicious and it’s always nice to be able to have a treat when I’m out and about! The cafe is very clean inside with lots of dog pictures on the walls, accessories and a dog menu alongside the human menu! We felt very welcome, our dog was on her best behaviour and we felt very relaxed. It’s nice to be able to sit in a warm cafe after a cold dog walk with our dog sitting with us. We’ve been back since and I think we’l end up as regulars, especially in the summer months as they also sell ice creams!

Great community spot for laid back couples and families with furry family members. Great staff and food (the puppichino deserves a mention). Nice outdoor seating to grab a drink between walks in the park.

It's a cafe handy for Bushy Park. It's a magnet for dog-opwners and their charges. It's friendly as anything! It offers a range of great cafe food - all day breakfasts and moist, sumptuous cakes. What's not to like?

I visit paws several mornings each week on my way to work. Louise the owner has created a wonderfully individual cafe which is welcoming to dogs and non dog owners alike. I do not go there with a dog or child and find it really excellent. The cakes and pastries are made locally I understand. There’s 10pc off if you take your own cup which is something more cafes should do. I can’t imagine why anyone would visit one of the coffee chains when they can get the personal service and beautiful quality coffee and food which Louise provides. And did I mention the fab veggie breakfast??

Located on Hampton Hill high street is Paws for coffee cafe. A very dog friendly cafe. Serves coffee for us mere humans and if you ask nicely a bowl for your dog.

I went to PFC today for lunch with my friend and our dogs. The menu is really nice, lots of tasty options to choose from, the staff are very friendly and the best bit of all are the dog themed treats and snack - for dogs and their humans! I look forward to going back again soon!!

Paws for Coffee is a lovely cafe with fabulous staff. I went for my birthday and Louise the owner made me and my friends feel very welcomed and cared for.

Fantastic coffee and service. Free water. The bacon and avocado on toast is a winner and the cake selection tip top. Love the blankets and seating outside too - feels like a ski resort.

Was recommended this cafe by a few doggy friends so when we went for a walk in Bushey Park we made a point of finding it.

This buzzy cafe has a cosy familiar atmosphere and it clearly has a lot of habitual customers.

Consistently excellent, staff are very friendly and attentive. One of the best coffees around. They do often get very busy but always worth the wait. The staff gets to know the dogs and always have friendly banter between patrons and staff which is very refreshing.

We come most weekends because of the atmosphere, the food & the fact our dog pulls us from the gate to the cafe!

This is a great dog friendly cafe and nice to go to even if you do not have a dog. I visited with my Sister and her sausage dog, Ollie today and the staff were very welcoming. There is a nice friendly atmosphere and nice selection of items on the menu for humans and their four legged friends.

This is our favourite cafe. It is a dog friendly cafe and whilst we don’t have a dog we absolutely love it there! It has a great atmosphere, is always pretty busy and it is perfectly located for bushy park. The owner is lovely too and you can tell she has a passion for what she does and a passion for dogs and she is a big part of why people keep coming back

This place is probably fantastic if you're a parent of a toddler and own a dog. If you're neither of these, it's not somewhere I'd put at the top of my list.

Great concept, great location, great staff and lovely owner. Very popular at the weekend but they always try and accommodate you.

We tend to go after a dog walk, for a coffee and cake or a lovely Sunday brunch. Busy, full of dogs, owners, families and friends. It's warm, cosy and bustling, with good service and plenty of staff. You can sit in, or out with your four legged friends and you can also get take away. The dogs always get lovely treats and the staff clearly enjoy having the dogs there, there is even a little doggie menu. They also have leads and collars for sale at reasonable prices.

Looking for somewhere new to take my elderly Dad for breakfast and came across Paws for Coffee.

This is such a great cafe, within a stones through of Bushy Park. I go here on my own when I take my dog for a walk, but frequented it over as a means to keep my kids motivated to walk the dog with me. The lure of yummy smoothies, great muffins and delicious ice cream saved me from arguements and made taking the dog for walks this summer with the kids, a real pleasure for all of us. Mojo loved it too and was spoiled rotten with treats. Frozen chicken lollies were a hit. Thanks Paws for Coffee.

Louise the owner makes sure she gets to know all her customers and their four-legged friend whilst Chris the manager and his team are great - excellent food brilliant service with a genuine smile and very friendly.... if you are thinking about visiting PAWS cafe think no longer and make your way there for a tasty breakfast or a delicious slice of cake or a lovely organic home made ice cream.... their coffee is fabulous and full of flavour...

Not just the best coffee for miles in every direction, but also a great place for breakfast, lunch and impromptu ice-cream. Enormously friendly and not just for dog lovers. If owning a dog was a pre-requisite for entry, we'd get one tomorrow.

Went for the first time this morning after a recommendation. Had a lovely coffee with a breakfast sandwich. We were very well looked after, including our dog, and spent a very relaxed half hour before a walk in bushey park. Love the decor and layout and staff couldn't be more friendly. Highly recommended.

This cafe combines great eating with what must be the most dog friendly cafe in the UK situated just outside Bushy park. I enjoyed an excellent cooked breakfast - sausage egg bacon etc and my wife enjoyed her mini- vegetarian breakfast grange of coffee was also good . We will certainly be back next time we are in the area

Whether you have a dog or not this is the place to come for breakfast/coffee/tea/cake! Every diet is catered for (no gluten/dairy) including canines. Quick friendly service and the best breakfast we've had in a while!

This is a great local cafe, obviously it's very dog friendly but you can also visit without dog! The food and coffee stand on their own 2 feet, the best bacon sandwich in the area.

Lovely atmosphere with variety of customers of all ages, some with their dogs. Even the children were well behaved, - perhaps fascinated by some of the cute dogs lying about. The cake and coffee we had was excellent and there was a real "buzz" about the place. We'll definitely be calling in again when we visit Hampton Hill.

Living in a country area we are used to dog friendly places and facilities.

Have lived by this place since it opened and must say it does a great coffee, often grab one as I passvefore going to the park. I have stopped for breakfast on the occasional morning with the family and I have enjoyed my fry up and the girls have loved there little orange dog containers there breakfast comes in. My wife loves the smoothies and me and the girls can rarely resist popping in for an ice cream if we pass. Staff are friendly and welcoming and whilst on occasion I have brought my parents dog I am not a dog owner and still enjoy it.

Just found this cafe today. Right opposite the Teddington entrance for Bushy Park so perfectly positioned for a refreshing coffee after a dog walk. As you would guess from the name, incredibly dog-friendly and our Bernese and Golden Retriever curled up outside happily chewing a calf foot each whilst I had a coffee. Canines and coffee - lovely.

A place where you can take your dog for a walk in the park then both pop in for a coffee and pupachino and a spot of lunch. A place where you can meet friends and so can your dog.

Called in today with the dog whilst walking inBushy Park. Genuinely dog and child friendly, with treats available and also can be bought. Lovely selection of cakes and ice creams and one of the best coffees I've had in a while. Nice menu for lunch and breakfast with veggie and gluten free options.

We stopped for drinks at this small cafe. Its dog friendly and they even have a dog menu, it was quite interesting to see people and there dogs enjoying the cafe.

Good coffee, good food, friendly staff and lots of dogs. Love it. There are a few small tables to sit outside. Only drawback is that it's not bigger to fit even more dogs (and people) in. Our dog loves the dried sprats treats. We like the almond croissants for a snack but the sandwiches are really good too. Oh and there's a really nice big park to walk your dog in across the road.

A couple of weeks ago I met a friend at Paws for Coffee, we are both dog lovers, she works as a Dog Walker, and myself Ive loved animals full stop, although strangely Ive always had cats as my companions !

A very friendly doggy cafe, great staff, all very friendly headed by Louise. It has been a fantastic year, let it continue.

Quick 1st time visit and the Flat White I had was nice and strong, decent coffee being used here as you can taste it.

My partner and I really want a dog but can't get one due to working hours. We sometimes come here for lunch and to see the dogs/ puppies that owners sometimes bring in. The lunch food is really nice and the staff are nice too.

These guys do great coffee and welcome cute dogs. Fun little cafe the cheeky pastries aren't too bad either!

The owner has done an amazing job making this restaurant quirky and different. The food portions were generous and excellent quality. I would definately recommend visiting.

We love coming here! My pooch loves the Puppacino and it always makes me laugh when other dogs try and get a taste. Sandwiches are freshly prepared and very tasty. The staff are superb, it's clear they're a happy team.
