Booked table for 3 for afternoon tea, we were shown to a table layed for 2 ,not rectified. Our pots of tea were bought out a good 10 mins before sandwiches and cake so we'd almost finished it by then, the server knocked over the sugar bowl 🥴, no one asked how things were at all and we had to interrupt 2 servers chatting to ask for the bill ,over priced and poor service so I wouldn't recommend it

To be clear the staff are nice and polite but the overall place has a long way to go. Would really avoid it. Not worth the price you pay. Roof leaked for months before they relocated us under the pretense that they didn’t expect it to “rain this much” (in London...). Internet is relatively slow. Door malfunctioned the other day and I was locked out of my office for over an hour and none of the staff could do anything about it. On the plus side, yeah the decor is very nice...

Despite an initial 10 minute wait to be asked for a drink the service and unexpected high quality near Michelin style food made up for the wait and after the service was slick and timely. I had an unexpectedly good Parsley soup -soup being a starter I rarely order and my wife was raving about her scallop and pork in the taxi home. We had a couple of cocktails - which wear above the average. The decor was contemporary if a little business like and the venue itself being centre of HighSt Kensington felt perfect for professional meetings rather than romantic liaisons. I would most certainly add it to my repertorie for great London food places to visit sitting by the window was like being a fish in a gold fish bowl to high street I'd recommend Al fresco option at the rear of venue

We went for breakfast a couple of weeks ago, we walk past it quite a lot and decided to try it. We sat down, ordered our drinks and then ordered breakfast. The English breakfast tea was lovely! There were so many mistakes when our breakfast arrived. My partner had ordered waffles and bacon and they gave him two pots of syrup before coming back to take one away. Our friend ordered a sausage sandwich and they gave him a bacon one. The waiter then told our friend that he was sure that he had asked for bacon instead of sausage, not great!! We were sitting across from the chefs counter who got very visibly annoyed that he had to make this sandwich all over again! There was only another one or two tables in so it was not like they were overly busy and stressed! My poached eggs were perfect though. The portions were quite small for the price and our three breakfasts with drinks came to almost £50 which based on our experience was not worth it at all!! I will stick to my lovely local hotel where the food is equal on quality but half the price!

It takes a lot for me to gripe but after a second atrocious visit, I feel I have a duty to let other people know. I have been here now on two occasions, both for business breakfasts and both times I've had the worst experience ever.I'm fortunate enough to go to many different places across town for breakfast and I've never experienced service so awful. So, as the story goes...I arrived 15 minutes before my colleague so was seated and offered a coffee. This came promptly. When my colleague got there she wanted to sit somewhere more secluded so that we could discuss business, and the staff politely obliged. Then it all went to pot. We ordered two coffees and two orange juices- they didn't appear for 15 minutes then the waiter actually asked "Can i get you any drinks" well yes... the ones we ordered from you 15 mins ago would be ace... they then didn't come for a further 10 minutes! My colleague ordered scrambled eggs with bacon on toast. We knew from our previous experience here that ordering off menu poses a problem of catastrophic proportions and therefore we were very specific. Her toast arrived, separately of course, and with jam on the side and then after 20 mins we were STILL waiting for the rest of our breakfasts. They then turned up... both stone cold and her eggs on circles on bread (not toast)We were absolutely dumbfounded. We mentioned straight away that the food was cold yet we had no choice but to carry on as they had already taken an hour and a half to get our breakfast to us. To which the waitress put her hand on my breakfast to check!!! We then asked for the bill, it came after another 10 minutes and they included service charge (I'm serious) and also charged a "large" latte? something we didn't have and didn't even know they offered. When we queried this and told them we didn't want to pay the "optional" service charge, the waitress went off in a huff. She then came back and supplied us with another bill... which she slapped down on the table and still with service charge but this time no latte. It wasn't until I asked a THIRD WAITRESS to correct this and explained the awful service that something was done. She called the angry Portuguese/spanish waitress back over who had gone off in a huff, fingered my breakfast and slapped the bill down, who said "what now" to which my colleague said thats the problem right there. She thought that because she was smirking she wasn't being rude... We explained about their attitude, the awful service and the fact they had the audacity to keep bringing us the wrong bill, or any bill at all for that matter to which she then said in a huff "fine, ill do it for you, ill let you off".Sorry but with all of our colleagues at the daily mail who frequent this place, I don't think we were being 'let off" anything. To top it off, the place wasn't even remotely busy. So, The Daily Mail team will now be boycotting this ridiculous place.I'm just glad we weren't with clients!

Now to start, we know we are biased as Adam is definitely our most favourite 'celebrity' chef but we had the most amazing evening at the Pavilion restaurant on Kensington High Street a couple of weeks back. Arrived to a busy bar and restaurant and had booked chef's table some time ago to watch the master at work. Having only met Adam once previously, he acknowledged us like old friends and even throughout the busy service he took time out to chat to us which was really appreciated. It was great to watch the chefs at work and the food was just delightful. I had beef carpaccio whilst my husband had the tuna to start, then we both had beef cheek which was just melt in the mouth, just delicious, no room for desert regrettably.Service attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning in February. Adam's passion is clearly evident and he is such a genuine person, the highlight of our christmas trip to London. The positives: Great location, interior and food. The braised beef cheek was melt in the mouth. We were served quickly and efficiently, this is exactly what I expect from mid-week lunch. The negatives:Confused about the entrance, left me scratching my head whether it was a florist or a restaurant and then i realised it was both. The service could be more personable to make a more lasting impression. Also, the sauce with my braised beef cheek was slightly too hot, which was unexpected and l was left with a slightly burnt tongue. I agree with some of the others that it is a great place for lunch but i don't know if it has the atmosphere for an evening meal, but i guess one way to find out is to try.

This is one of my favorite places to go but we came here and there were a catalog of errors from a rude waiter and flapping about staff. The food is excellent but with countless errors in taking our order, how to speak to us and left waiting around. We asked for the service off and no apology or inquiring or anything. We love coming here but wish they could clean up the service in the restaurant!

If you can find this restaurant - the entrance looks more like a flower shop than an eatery - the food experience is really good. Great for lunch, although getting a table in the front is a real 'must', and with a very interesting menu. We have been there several times and been pleased each time. The ambience is unusual, which is why I would go for lunch rather than dinner - and the service is a little 'patchy' - but I would heartily recommend if you are in the area and want a different meal to the usual Italian and French offerings on Kensington High Street

The restaurant is a bit noisy ( especially when the air conditioning is faulty ) , otherwise the food is really nice.

I pass in front of this place almost every day on my way to work, and finally decided to try it last night. Couldn't be happier I did so. This place offers an amazing dining environment, with a big spacious room that hides nothing. They feature a very comprehensive bar, open kitchen and even a florist. The food is also a strong point. Dishes are very well thought thru, well presented and delicious. Their choice of cheeses is simply amazing. Last but not least, prices are not crazy. Money well spent, will be back soon!

We were looking for a light lunch and mooching around Kensington High Street when we came across this restaurant. It was apparently a type of members club but open to the public. You enter the restaurant through a flower shop, which is also owned by them. It has a very modern look and feel, a bit similar to a French brasserie with a little bit of the 20/30's feel about it. We shared a starter which was a sardine dish, delicately presented and delicious. I then had venison which was again beautifully presented and delicious. The portions were small (fine dining) but just right for us.Would definitely recommend this for lunch and we would go again tomorrow without hesitation. Should be michelin starred.

This place is still great as ever. We hadn’t visited in way too long and popped in this evening for the Christmas tasting menu. Inventive and exciting dishes were served by an attentive staff. Cozy anytime, but especially around the holidays, The Shed does not disappoint. A great culinary experience all around.

The crêpes are decent—you can’t really go making something as simple as crêpes. While the portion is big, the crêpe itself is quite thin, and the price doesn’t feel justified. They’re also not very generous with the toppings. The flavor is good, but nothing exceptional.
