Fantastic attentive service and food. I am surei was dining in a different place to the other reviews I have allergies and these were carefully considered and communicated. When the food arrived it was excellent and nicely presented. If you want fast food go to McDonald's otherwise enjoy taking a moment to breath. Thank you to the team for my lovely lunch.

Locale carino. Si trova all’interno del giardino botanico di Londra. Ho preso una cesar salad. Non male. Il pollo devo dire era tenero. La persona con me a preso un fish and chips. Fritto bene senza traccia di olio. Croccante e gustoso. Do solo tre stelle per due motivi. Il primo punto pochi piatti presenti. Diciamo una piccola selezione. Secondo due piatti, un acqua e un tango orange. Per un totale di 43 pounds.

This should have been an amazing meal, beautiful surroundings and at an organisation dedicated to providing quality experience that includes proper respect for food. It was not. The fish and chips had been frozen and were soggy with oil, the fish, old with a slightly off smell, the super food salad had very soggy quinoa with a substandard selection of nuts and leaves. One of the pots of chips was served cold - although they did replace this quickly - about £18 per head thank you very much!

I arranged a leaving do for a colleague at the Pavillion, combined with a day in the gardens. The staff were very helpful and reserved 16 of us a lovely table where we wouldn't disturb anyone else. The food was delicious and it worked out wonderfully well. Veronica Rodriguez was particularly kind and made the whole thing go very smoothly.

Massively inefficient! Queued for 4 cans of soft drink (2.75 each!!) and was told to wait to the side for the people who make the coffee to make them (get cans out of fridge, put ice in glass). Waited 15mins whilst watching 6 members of staff rush about like headless chickens changing which till took food and which only took drinks (at 12:00 lunchtime!) Finally asked the girl who took my order who was going to take the cans out of the fridge - “cans?, oh I forgot what you ordered !” Hopeless management- glad we didn’t order food as I doubt whether it would have arrived before the park had closed.

Way to pricey for what it is. First of all the drinks are overpriced, ordered some beers and the glasses had lipstick on. Food came out eventually and I could not believe what they charged for the fish and chips! It was the tiniest portion, no more than 12-15 fries, a teaspoon of mushy peas and a small piece of fish. There was more tartar sauce than peas! Would not recommend at all, most of the food was Luke warm at best.

The service was absolutely too long. More than one hour for a salad and a cake. And it was the same for everybody. And it was not rush hour !

As a Kew Member I knew what to expect but it was worse than usual. It is staffed as if it were a small cafe. If you only want coffee you have to wait in a long slow queue. There was not a single item of food on show. You can only order from the printed menu. Do not have the temerity to think you can just order a cake or scone. Despite lots of poor reviews Kew have failed to tackle this so be warned.

My son, husband and I have been visiting Kew Gardens for years and always treat ourself to a delicious lunch at the Pavilion Grill. Our last visit was in February to see the snowdrops. Our visit today was very disappointing and not at all enjoyable. The menu had changed completely. We had prawn fritters, courgette arranchi-6 small rice balls, (£8) apsaragus (three spears of asaragus, and egg and hollandaise sauce (£10.50) and a burger, water, coffee and a can of orange drink. It came to £58 in all. £10 for three asparagus spears is daylight robbery. The burger was "minimalist"-it came with a small tub of chips, whereas previously there was a salad included. The floor under the table had food on it and the table was sticky. All in all this was not an enjoyable lunch . The food was tasty, but value for money is not good. Very over priced. Disappointingly , we will not eat here again unless you revert to a previous style menu.

Two words to sum this place up. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO EAT AT THIS PLACE. People waited in a 20min+ queue to be told they were not taking food orders. 🤯 Staff are disorganised and do not process orders in a random order. Do yourselves a favour and take a hamper from Harrods! 🤣 - would be about the same price and better quality food.

It's hard to recommend anything about The Pavilion. The coffee is not good. £15 for a small plate of anti pasti - a few pickled artichokes, mushrooms and onions was a total rip-off. We were also brought a bowl of chips that we had not ordered- lukewarm and a bit soft - the worst of all possible frites.

If I could I'd give it 0 star!!! We were attracted to the Pavilion after reading the menu with words like "farm products" etc. What a scam! What a huge disappointment. Just look at the picture... Tiny portions, cheap products (1 salad leaf at the end of its life), a few tiny slices of gurkin thrown onto a tastesless brioche bun, tasteless tomato. Had to put my glasses on to find the burger... No effort to present nicely on a far too big plate for what's served on it. All this for an extortionate £18. At least the chips were crispy... Never again!! I should have read the reviews before. I hope my review helps the owners to change but given the amount of negative reviews posted in the past and no change I guess they just don't care.

Decent coffee in china cups at a reasonable price. Ordered paid for, and carry-it-yourself from the counter. Tables reasonably spaced. The day we were there, one of the big door would not slide easily, so it was left open, which made the premises cool, to say the least.

I love Kew Gardens and this restaurant looks out onto the most perfect setting. You pay for you food when you place the order and good vegetarian options available, good choice hot and cold drinks, friendly / helpful staff. Food is delicious but a bit overpriced for the portion sizes ( they use to be much bigger ) but the chairs are comfortable and location hard to beat. Wonderful outside seating available for the better weather. We ordered the chicken and perfectly cooked, also the veggie burger.

This restaurant is very average and poor value for money. The kids mac’n cheese was extremely poor value at £9 for a bit of pasta in cheesy sauce and the beef burger with a few chips at £18 was even worse value. Four mediocre meals for a family cost £54 without any drinks at all. What a rip off!

Poor quality very pricey food. Very disappointing. Overcooked dry chips, salad drowning in oily dressing (had to mop it off plate) with small chicken leg with fresh pesto on it. Pesto only decent item. Charged £17 extortionate for a trapped audience. Also had to queue for 10 mins for this delight. Many people just walked out after looking at menu Come on Kew you should be doing better.

The setting is lovely under the pergolas. It was a very hot day so the shade was welcome. The food, however needs some serious improvement- over priced at £17 for a chicken leg with a smattering of herb pesto served with solid cake like rice and a few leaves that were either brown on the edges or wilting. I expected much more from a venue of this caliber. Young staff that would benefit from a few customer service improvements on the tills.

My wife and I used to enjoy a quiet mid week lunch here, and may do again. Unfortunately, we took my sister and her husband here for a late lunch on a Saturday. The coffees and teas were made one at a time, so by the time the last one was made, the first was tepid. My chicken burger was just ordinary. My sister and brother in laws, soups were luke warm, and the melted cheese sandwich/accompaniments were fresh cheese on unbuttered and not heated bread. Someone forgot to cook them. They were returned. My daughters meal had the option of including a poached egg, but she was told there weren’t any. £85 for 5 shockingly simple and basic dishes. A real shame.

Staff missed allergens when specifically asked, chefs in the open kitchen laughing and joking about customers dowry requirements and poor customer service. Food is overpriced but adequate. Customer service and food standards training in urgent need here. Ginger chef is the one joint allergens

After ordering we had half an hour wait for the food to arrive. The food was nice and hot. The grilled mackerel and chips dish was good value. Very expensive was the tasty soup and especially the children's very small portion of macaroni cheese which did not taste nice. The bill was £40. We bought no drinks as there was cold water and cups provided on the side. Nice there was no music.

Coeliacs? Take your chances! Love Kew. Members for years. First visit since becoming Coeliac. No labelled GF options. On investigation, this was not obvious, some salads, were available, but were self service and cross-contamination was rife. Assistant didn't initially understand this but kindly went and got me some fresh from the kitchen. No cakes or sandwiches were available in any restaurant. Disappointing really.

The place itself looks nice. Staff are a bit vacant or uninterested? Ordered an egg brunch bap - for £4.80 I was expecting lovely artisan sourdough something but this was a super cheap white bap - if you typically struggle with digesting bread stay far away form this. It's just poor quality. Sausage roll was oily - edible but did not sit well afterwards. Such a shame as the food does not reflect the overall look and feel of the place. Expected far more. Will not be returning.
