Patty Macs in Suffolk Coastal

Amazing burger! Being a natural born carnivore, I love me a meaty burger and this one truly delivers (I had the West Coast Classic) - the flavour, size and texture are to die for. Definitely take an appetite with you! Their skin on fries are packed with flavour and are crispy fresh. Even my picky children (who shared a pizza) ended up taking a fair amount of burger and chips off me! Both my sister's in law ordered chicken burgers and fries and raved about them whilst scoffing them back! We'll definitely be back 🙂

Long time patty mac's diner. Everytime i go up to felixstowe, i stop by mac's and grab a phat cow burger. Best burger in suffolk. Misses loves them. Quality mash patty. 5 stars.

1st time customer last night and had the Phat Cow burger and fries. Has to be one of the nicest burgers I've had in years. Really liked that they gave you an alarm that sounds when your burger is ready to collect as gave me a time to get a beer from the bar. Will definitely be coming back.

Was the last customers of the evening, had the Dirty bird and chicken tenders, really great portion size, very tasty, would 100% return

This place has really gone down hill. Burger was really greasy

The food is good however, I had found some bones in the "boneless chicken" and they have failed to give me the refund for the meal, despite them saying they will. Not ideal and a waste of money. I won't be going there again.

Some of the best burgers I have eaten. The Phat Cow and Dirty Bird are amazing! I wish I lived in Felixstowe as I would be eating here a lot more. Get yourself a phat cow/Dirty Bird with skin on fries and you will not be hungry afterwards! They have recently moved to ground floor, so access is super easy. Ignore the naysayers.. these burgers are spot on!

Skin on fries. A tray of what would have been nice fries destroyed with far too much salt. We just binned them. No question from our server asking if that's how we wanted them.

Cons first. Burgers are a little on the pricey side and a bit on the greasy side too. Positives. Cooked to order and staff were very friendly. Overall there are much better places to get a better burger at a better price.

This place has gone downhill. I had the misfortune of buying a single party burger. It was tasteless. Just came with mayo and soggy overcooked onions nothing else. Same time last year it came with salad and dressings and was brilliant. Now it’s like they have given up trying (I added the ketchup in the photo to try and add some taste)

Had lunch with my wife and daughter, absolutely fantastic and very flavoursome burgers, well worth a visit, not a negative but we found your unit hard to find, maybe a few more signs

Phat cow burger is immense for ~£9 and really brimming with taste. Have had it a few times now and this Sunday just gone took them back to the beach along with one of their chicken burgers I forget the name. The beef burger contained a very generous helping of brisket and cheese and other pickles. I'm quite greedy but you will be full up for sure with one of these!! The chicken option is equally immense. Very much recommended for big appetites!

Burgers are delicious, but don't bother with the "seasoned" fries. Brought these back in because I thought they had forgotten it. The answer was "theyre seasoned with salt. Is that alright?" (Kicker is theyre hardly even salty) EDIT: I see they've responded. Do those fries look like they've got pepper on them? I was told they were seasoned with salt. No mention of anything else. (and even then, thats a poor excuse for seasoned fries. A bit of cayenne pepper some garlic powder wont set you back the world when youre charging 3.50 for them, or 2 quid to add to a burger) Also! "This is what seasoning is". Either misguided or intentionally being obtuse. I suggest you search "seasoned fries" and take a look at some pics and recipes

Eaten a few times here now. Always delicious. Big portions. Reasonably priced. The purple slaw is amazing! now have a seating area inside which is brilliant.

This is the third time I've come and eaten and tonight i had the Dirty Bird and best burger ive eaten ever. Just beating my last favourite what was the original burger that was amazing from the place. Had the one with Pulled beef was good but not as good. That down to my taste buds. Definitely coming back, lovely service from the girls.

Had this for the lunch. Filling but not that I would go for it again. It’s nice burger but wasn’t fan of beef in a burger and I was lacking of vegetables. Couldn’t taste even cheese through all the meat. Not very well balanced. But a lot of meat and nice fries.

Went Sunday was very disappointing.

I had the phat cow, the brisket was dry and over cooked. The bun was nothing more than a bun I’d get from a supermarket.

Soooo good! Wish I took some photos of the food to post on here. I got the Phat Cow burger and it was amazing, so tasty and perfect amount of everything so it was not too difficult/messy to eat either. Only sad bit was that the pickles were a bit too soft for my liking, but maybe it was because I did have to leave the burger to cool for about 5 minutes as it was so hot n fresh! Also tried the fried chicken, sooo tasty as well. Juicy and tender, nice crispy outside n good flavour. So fresh, too hot to eat right away. Decently priced too. I got a burger myself and the chicken to share with my partner (2.5 pieces each) and that was more than enough food for about £10. It'd be way more than that at a restaurant and I'd say this is even better than most restaurant burgers I've had. Definitely top 5 burgers I've ever eaten...

I'm not suprised this establishment has such high reviews, the service was great, greated with a smile, even though it was the hottest day of the year and clearly very busy. The burger was amazing, loved it! And skin on fries great to. Great vibe, great food. Don't live in Felixstowe but will definitely come back again soon, worth the miles. 5* ❤️

Visited here on Bank Holiday Monday. The chicken tenders and chicken burger are probably the best we've had. Delicious taste and cooked perfectly. The beef burger was tasty too but the winner here is definitely the chicken! Hopefully we'll get to visit again on holiday in the future.

Hands down best burger EVER! From the fried buttermilk chicken to the homemade slaw to the chilli Jam. The Dirty Bird had it all….and a little bit more after that. So good!

For a big guy like me this was a rather small chicken burger, gone in two bites but WHAT a two bites! Possibly the finest chicken burger I have had for a while.

Oh God it's SO GOOD! Second time visiting here and we'll be back for definite. I had the Phat cow burger (with beef brisket, pickles, cheese, lettuce, mayo.) and fries. The burger is faultlessly delicious and I think the fries are in the top three best fries I've EVER had. They are so fried! Really crispy and super perfect. I think burgers can really easily be quite a let down, so thank you for getting it SO right! I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't had these fries. I would love if you could add jalapeños 😍

First time I've eaten at Patty Macs. Can't speak highly enough of the place. Service is great, especially with the portable bleeper that alerts you when your food's ready. Had a classic burger which was delicious. Piping hot fries were equally good. A side of halloumi fries were as good as I've had anywhere. Won't be long before I return. 5/5 ⭐

Coming from a burger and fries fiend, this was absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked burger and generous portion of fries. Only downside was bit of a wait, but worth it.

What a gem! We had a walk at Felixstowe on a Sunday afternoon and ended staying the evening as it was such lovely weather, all the chip shops had closed but we found this place tucked away. I can honestly say it was the tastiest burger I have probably had and can understand why the reviews are so good. I suspect a lot of people miss it so would be good to have more signage maybe? We will definitely be back!!

I enjoyed a Patty Macs last night for the first time. Sincerely, the most delicious burger I've had in years, flavour in every bite, no need for fancy gimmicks or novelty toppings, just a proper burger! I also indulged in some chicken tenders, anyone would be remiss not to try these! KFC WHO?! 10/10

Had a beef burger and chicken tenders from here, both really good. You get a beeper so don't have to stand around and wait - go any enjoy a beer at Hopsters whilst it's cooking!

Great food, but often turns up not very hot due to delivery drivers making multiple drops. Been waiting two hours since order, and over half hour since the driver picked it up. He has now turned off his sat nav and we have no idea if we are eating or not. Great food though.

Ok so whilst on a work trip and looking for a burger I was very enthusiastically directed by the whole office to give patty Mac's ago. My gosh was they right. I have tried alot of burgers in my time and to his is up there in my top 3 and may even be number 1. The original bacon burger was as perfect as a burger can get , the balance between patty , bum , salad and cheese was supreme. The soft airy brioche bun beautifully held and capture the gorgeous flavours coming from the in-between. It's simplicity really makes and a for sure 10/10 burger . The big cow again delivers with great taste and balance but this is definitely a meat eaters treat. Great flavours and we'll put together but my only advice is with the pulled pork . I would like to zap some extra zing in the pulled pork and make it a little more BBQ / fruitier to add that extra dimension but that is a very small adjustment and this score a easy 9.5/10 Will probably have to wait for my next visit to try the chicken burger selection but the menu does Salivate those juices at the thought of trying them. But I do hear great things. Fries - finally someone knows how to produce good quality fries. Thes skin on fries oose flavour and are perfectly HOT , CRISP AND WELL SEASONED ... I stress the latter as so many places get this so wrong and under value their importance in accompanying the burger. Here Mac's fries deliver on all accounts and smash an easy 10/10 Over all this place delivers on a great level for one of the most common meals in our day an age but one that sadly gets over looked but thankfully patty Mac's are here to put the love and pride back into the burger . I highly recommend and it saddens me that this place is not local to me but with the right guidance and a bit of luck , could be a place we see dotted around the country. It's a young business with great staff and polite friendly owner and I'm sure there is plans to grow in the future but as a positive thought I would like to see maybe a seasoning option on the fries like a peri peri and for me personally a great burger , great fries needs to be complete with a great shake but I am sure we will see these things soon and I would praise them to keep doing what they are doing so get down there a grab yourself a real treat. 10/10

Food as always is awesome, orders many times and never been left unsatisfied... Will be ordering again tomorrow when i get paid

My son and I had burgers from Patty Mac's while grabbing a quick lunch at Beach Street. We were both blown away by how great they were. Juicy, great toppings - and the house sauce is fantastic! Will definitely be back!

Getting a burger here ought to be mandatory. I used to live in East London, where Burgers and questionably flavoured beer were staples in take away diets, so I have had some absolutely cracking burgers. The one I had here was more than just on par, it beat many I had the pleasure of eating. Seasoning is bang on, buns are delicious, burger sauce is delightful... I cannot find fault at all. Get one. You'll thank me later

We tried 2 burgers, one with excellent crispy bacon and the 2nd with the most amazing beef brisket. As for the beef patties themselves the aged beef makes these the tastiest and best burgers we have eaten in a very long time. Halloumi fries a worthwhile addition. Faultless food! Yum

This is the best burger I have ever had in England. We have rearranged our weeks holiday to return again and have another burger and fries. Tasty, tender, fresh burgers, the chips are cooked to perfection and crunchy, and the staff are super friendly! Keep up the good work!!

The photo I've taken doesn't really do it justice. They are real Chuncky meaty patty's and it was very well seasoned and tasty. Loved the fact it all dripped out good messy burger! I would loved if they asked of I wanted it cooked slightly rare. 4 stars was because they didn't have the full menu available no Mac and cheese or breakfast burger.

Sorry for the photo but I just wanted to eat it. A very very well put together burger. The roll was tasty and held together well. The patty was beautifully cooked, not greasy but not dry, perfect. The fillings are very worth every second, pickles and cheese, wow! The BBQ pulled beef brisket is the best I've had, not sweet but perfectly smoked and burnt ends! Chips, perfectly cooked, almost like a roast potato! Loved every bite. I had to have two. I'll be back!
