Delicious freshly made scone with Butter and Jam and superb Vanilla Latte (Mum had an amazing Mueille Feuille) cake. Lovely friendly, helpful staff who were engaging and couldn't do enough to help us. It's also great for people like one of our family members who use a wheelchair. We had never been before and had a great experience.

Patisserie Valerie is a coffeehouse located inside Glasgow Central Station. The café offers coffees, tea & chocolate, sandwiches & pastries. It is popular with train commuters and by-passers. Staffs are friendly and efficient. Having a rail stopover we spotted the café and were tempted for coffee. You enjoy your coffee inside at the platform terrace. We went for cappuccino & carrot-cake. The coffee was just OK, and the pastry was unimpressive. Patisserie Valerie staff need an Italian barista course.

Visited the store on Saturday when travelling through Central Station to head down south with my parents. Handsome ginger manager was very attentive and helped me decide on the best selection of slices to take down for my grandparents. The red velvet was to die for! I'd been in this store a few months go to grab a coffee before my train and the experience hadn't been great - so glad to see things are on the up!

Friendly service but sadly the coffee was very watery, jam had run out and overall I think the cafe could have been cleaner.

After checking the menu clearly listed on the window, I asked for an iced latte only to be told there is no ice. I go back out to check the menu and come back asking for a simple juice, again told they didn't have it. The woman serving then proceeded to say "you have to ask me what we have".. this is a very odd thing to say. Surely if you're aware of not having everything on the menu, its a simple duty to let the customer know. I then ask for a scone and butter. It comes out with orange marmalade jam, I ask for butter again and then told there is no butter. Just overall poor poor communication, not what I expected entering the store considering the high standard of cakes available etc.

Amazing selection of cakes and tarts. I love the chocolate mouse cake and my OH loves the fruit tarts. I would definitely stop off here if I was having to spend any time in the station and do a bit of people watching... On our last visit, we came for dessert on the way home having had a meal elsewhere and took them to go. We were not disappointed- great quality as always.

We ended up here with time to kill while waiting for a train. We both ordered Cappucinos, and it was positively the best coffee we’ve had so far in Glasgow. Service was friendly and polite too, and the cafe itself a quiet haven in an otherwise very busy setting. To be recommended.

The service was a little slow but the food was excellent and reasonably priced. I suggest any of the sandwiches or breakfast. Lattes were smooth but not very hot. The side salads are also fresh and had a nice flavor.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Cakes were standard for Patisserie Valerie. I found the coffee a bit strong.

This morning my wife and I decided to call in for a coffee at Glasgow Central prior to heading down south on the train. It was nice to see the offer on the board outside with a free pastry with every hot drink. On ordering the coffee's I asked what the pastries were and was told........ None left! I failed to see what part of that answer was my problem given the board outside didn't say "subject to availability" and there clearly was a great deal of pastries on offer around the counters, just not the free ones with the coffee's before 11am. So my advice is not to be enticed by any offers from Patisserie Valerie........ Small point but a little irritating. The coffee was fine.

Located in a building within Central Station this is a peaceful place for coffee shielded from the hustle and bustle of the station.

used a groupon for afternoon tea. we arrived around 1130am (had booked) no table free or ready, eventually got a tiny table that was over taken by the afternoon tea stand, tea pots, plates etc. cakes were delicious, same with scones. nice mix of sandwich flavours and tasted fresh. quiches were quite clearly microwave and had soft pastry. would not pay full price for afternoon tea.
