This was probably the best meal I’ve ever had. delicious local food, much of it from the farm. 8 courses for a very reasonable price. would highly recommend.

Paternoster was a unique dining experience, from the outside what looked like an old barn nestled in the grounds of a farm to the inside, a fabulously shabby chic decor restaurant with some amazing food. The ingredients are all seasonal and grown on the farm. We had numerous sharing platters that were all sooo tasty and just seemed to keep coming. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the pairing of wines. Cant wait to return and try another seasonal banquet.

This is a special food experience. The food is unique and numerous courses. All 4 of us found it great and the right amount for 4. Expensive but considering the variety and favour, perhaps not that bad. Would return.

Sorry not impressed and neither was my husband. I took him here as a birthday treat yesterday evening because of the incredible reviews. I have tonight treated him to a quarter pounder and chips from the local kebab house - and we enjoyed it sssssoooo much more!!! Paternoster is overpriced, stingy and completely disorganised. The first few courses came out quick, one after the other. We then had to wait over 40mins for the next course to come. Whilst watching other customers arrive and end up catching up and some overtaking us in the courses race!!!! Considering the cost, the portion sizes were ridiculous and we were expected to share them!! My husband and I have experienced fine dining and understand the elegance and presentation of lovely food and their portion sizes but usually get a plate each - especially at the cost!! The food itself was nice - nothing that blew us away though. The location is on a farm and the restaurant in an old barn, so we were fully prepared for the set up and ambience - just not how bloody cold it would be!!! Freezing!!! Not to mention the spiders!!! Parking isn’t ideal, yes it’s a farm but still. Got the impression that as we did not order a bottle of wine, we were less important than those that did!! The establishment seems to have a very high opinion of themselves…..they shouldn’t. Very disappointed and wish I hadn’t wasted my time and money.

This is such a wonderfully unique restaurant with the most amazing rustic charm! Service was warm, friendly and relaxed. The drinks list was not your normal run-of-the-mill affair and offered up some interesting 750ml bottles of beer and cider alongside a thoughtful and concise wine list…..the Chardonnay Sauvignon blanc we chose was truly delicious. The food was the star though! A no choice succession of sharing dishes that were fresh, perfectly cooked and so damn tasty. We loved being served things that we would never have normally chosen if they had been nestled amongst a menu of other dishes. Book yourself a table……Go with an open mind and an empty stomach…..you won’t be disappointed!

We heard about this little gem of a restaurant when we stayed in East Trewent about 18 months ago, and booked an evening dining experience but had to pull out of our booking at the last minute. It remained on our must-do when back in the area. We stayed near Manorbier this summer and as soon as I booked our accommodation I booked a table at Paternoster Farm to ensure a table as demand is high for all the right reasons. We are lucky that our teenage boys share our love and passion for food, and they are really connected to their food source, so the whole ethos of the converted dairy barn with local seasonal food really resonated with us. We arrived on a wet windy evening but as soon as we entered the restaurant we were immersed in a cosy, warm atmosphere. We were greeted promptly and taken to our table - the set menu, positioned just above our table got our taste buds tingling immediately. We enjoyed the home-made cordial and cider and were totally charmed by the quaint farm paraphernalia and decor, there was a considerate nod to the nostalgia of the humble beginnings of the building with careful decoration to make it a comfortable restaurant. Then the food started to arrive, and what a feast it was!! The blend of ingredients was created with such art, every course was exquisite! The whole experience was sooo worth the wait and totally met all expectations!! I am so pleased that we got back there to experience it, there is nothing like this where we live so it really was unique. If we lived closer we’d be weekly customers to experience the changing menu all year long!!!

This is a real gem of a hidden restaurant serving delectable dishes, created single handedly by chef Michelle, inspired by local fresh ingredients. Based in an old dairy, cattle stalls provide a quirky layout and allow adequate space between the rustic mismatched tables and chairs, ensuring diners can enjoy a degree of privacy. Soft lighting, vases of fresh flowers on every table, wood burning stoves and friendly staff ensure diners are warmly welcomed. A set menu is provided, which changes daily depending on local ingredients available and portions are generous. There’s something very exciting about not knowing what will be brought to your table next and dishes are served from the kitchen whenever they’re ready; the whole meal flowed perfectly and allowed for plenty of conversation during and between dishes. The evening we went our sumptuous menu included scallops, mussels, marinated tomatoes with Somerset mozzarella, fresh green bean salad, pork meatballs and, the delicious surprise of the night - spicy barbecued red cabbage! The meal was perfectly rounded off with a homemade fresh fruit semi-Frodo. We cannot recommend Paternoster Farm highly enough - it was absolutely amazing! It’s no wonder that it’s one of the UK’s top restaurants. Our advice? Don’t hesitate to make a booking but be quick and book in advance as tables get booked up very quickly; I guarantee you won’t be disappointed 😊😋 Thank you Michelle and all your Team for a wonderful evening - we’ll definitely be back!

We escaped a downpour here, we weren't planning on lunch, but ordered a sausage sandwich to share and it was great. The place was packed and very busy, but we'll run. The buildings are interesting, a maze of properties joined together, with the brewery downstairs. There's also a shop and coffee shop part of Harbwr. There are many places to eat and drink in Tenby and this one should not be missed

Traditional, characterful pub owned and run by a decent man. Good local customers and selection of drinks. No food but if you want a welcome where you dont have to feel like a holidaymaker, this place is for you.
