Pastaio - Westfield in Hammersmith and Fulham

The first time I came to Pastiao back in 2020 and I found that the tables was quite close together. However, with that being said, it’s really improved and it’s a great place to meet up with family and friends. We loved the pasta and the starters… but we were too full for dessert, definitely will have it next time! I would highly recommend coming to Pastaio if visiting Westfield. It’s a great little Italian restaurant 😊

Got tempted in by the kids eating free but the portions were so small they will need to eat again. Crab pasta was pretty bland. Won’t be back.

The fresh pasta was good. I ordered the veggie meatballs - they were ok - but disappointingly one (of the three meatballs) was burnt. Really burnt - it ruined the taste in my mouth. I left it on the side & when the waitress cleared our plates I mentioned that it was burnt (didn't really need to mention it - it was black & charred). She said that as they were fried she couldn't control that it was burnt. Really ???!!!

Honestly I have read the reviews and can only assume the bad ones were from when it first opened and any issues have been resolved as my experience was fantastic. The waitress (I think Anne Marie, petite lady with blonde bobbed hair from Moldova) made the evening for us. From the minute we sat down till we left she was super attentive. When I enquired about a drink she gave me a small amount to try before ordering. My friend was vegan and also on a low carb diet, she recommended what to try and made the relevant adjustments to suit with the chef. Food was really nice, pasta was definitely the Italian way 'al dente' which is how it should be. I would definitely go there again.

I had been waiting for a chance to try this restaurant for some time. As everywhere else in Westfield as full we gave it a go. I had the Crab Spaghetti. You can smell something fishy but no physical evidence of crab and I am still tasting the burnt garlic. Others in my party had the vegan meatball sauce and we agree that the pasta was okish but meatballs are not good. As for the wine. Bottle says you pay for the wine not the bottle. At £30 I suggest the Pastaio management look at what others charge for a better quality wine that is actually bottled in Italy. To avoid doubt 26-28 is the benchmark for better quality than this keg dispensed wine. Shame, great idea.

I am not use to give a comment,but last night was bad experience,Baaaad services,the waiter and waitress it's horrible,it's seem they don't like service people,pasta was really bad too. Never come back there

We popped into the restaurant this evening and ordered 3 starters and 2 mains. The starters were nice enough, but the main course pastas were awful. Really tasteless. The drinks were also quite pricey - and, er, glasses full of ice with a touch of spirit! £75. Ouch

Staff were extremely helpful and speedy, as was the food. Pasta was very good and focaccia was excellent too. Good value for money and thoroughly enjoyed the dinner, and staff were happy to go the extra mile and insist to fill our water bottles to take away too. Very happy

First time visit with a friend. For such a simple menu, we were so pleased. The food was absolutely delicious, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the service was excellent. Visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon and had an Aperol Spritz each. I had the Amalfi Lemon & Basil Spaghetti and my friend had the Courgette Conchigle. Both dishes were generous portions and so tasty. Fresh food with delicious flavours. The staff here are lovely - checking in on us and chatty without being overbearing. For the two cocktails and the two pasta dishes we split the bill and paid £18 each. Excellent value, thoroughly enjoyed the food and looking forward to returning when next at Westfield.

This restaurant was an absolute treat. My boyfriend and I had just arrived in London and were looking for somewhere filling to eat. We walked over to Westfield shopping centre and found this beautiful restaurant, Pastaio. A chef was creating beautiful fresh pasta in the windows and we knew we had to go inside! The service was quick, the staff were incredibly friendly and the food was absolutely delicious! We got the 8-hour bolognese and the carbonara and both were to die for - some of the best pasta we had ever eaten! As well as this, the aesthetic of the restaurant was so calm and relaxed. Would 100% recommend!

Spying the Bucatini Carbonara on the instagram, I was tempted to try Pastaio to satisfy my Carbonara cravings. Listed on the menu as a Carbonara using fresh pasta, cooked the traditional way with egg yolks and Parmesan, it was a real disappointment to receive a plate of pasta shapes in a cream sauce, few bacon bits and dusting of Parmesan. Seeing the surprise on my face, the Waiter asked what was wrong... I queried "I had expected Spaghetti Carbonara", so the plate was whisked away and 5 minutes later a tangle of spaghetti on an oversized plate arrived in cream, parmesan and a few bacon pieces. Not the authentic Italian Carbonara raved about online, not the treat I expected to pay out for. A real disappointment. I bought myself fresh homemade Bucatini from the farmers market, bacon lardons and parmsean from the shops, and made my own very much more delicious at home.

We came a few weeks ago because I was craving some vegan pasta - unfortunately, i left very disapointed. It completely lacked flavour and both my boyfriend and I agreed when we left you can make something more interesting at home. They should have worked though! They sounded very exciting. We ordered the 'Courgette and courgette flower pesto, cassarecce' and 'Spinach spaghetti, rocket puree, crusco chilli, agretti & breadcrumbs.' Like I said, very disapointing, if we come again we will be ordering something else or not coming at all :( The focacia and the actual fresh pasta was good though!

Totally regret choosing to eat here, whilst the pasta is fresh and you can taste it, that’s al you can taste. The food is so bland even the chilli oil and chilli flakes have no heat to them. Poor kids menu, no Mac n cheese,

My iPhone needed a battery replacement. And we should have been in Italy this week on holiday so whilst my iPhone was being repaired we went here for lunch. My asparagus was cooked perfectly with a bite and the cheese and pepper sauce was out of this world my husband finished it off. I had lemon pasta and my husband had lobster pasta both dishes were amazing and cooked perfectly. Wine list is short but perfect with a range to suit all palates. Service was efficient and friendly. We will be back
