Pasta Remoli in Newham

We ordered 125ml rose prosecco each. Glasses came out less. We queried and told correct measure. Another couple ordered exactly the same but their glasses had full 125 measure. Despite querying, it's clear given short measures. Avoid buying drinks here? Otherwise, staff friendly.

"Pasta Remoli" combines high-quality food with fast service in a fast-food-style setting. The staff are skilled and welcoming, and dishes are served with impressive speed. The spaghetti with clams and marinated mussels are standout items. Highly recommended for trying all the delicious offerings on the menu.

We came around 1pm and it was dead. I don’t think many know about this place. We tried it for the first time and definitely would recommend. The food was hot and made to order; the biscuit was fresh and the peach ice tea was tasty. All together for me and my partner it was 40 pound for a meal a drink and a biscuit which wasn’t too bad considering other places.

Westfield is a noisy busy shopping centre but it's worth putting up with the hustle to have lunch here. I liked the concept of choose your sauce, pasta and cheese and my husband really enjoyed his mushroom sauce, whole wheat pasta and parmesan. I had a starter for main, opting for the prawns, these were lovely, big a juicy, in a very garlicky sauce. They are though very messy to eat. I debated knocking a point off because they don't provide finger bowls and you can't open the hand wipes when covered in sauce, but it made us laugh. Not a dish for solo dining.

Was in the area for business and on my way back to the hotel was thinking about dinner and passed this place. Wanted something fast and good and that is exactly what I got. Service was very fast and friendly and the food was outstanding. When I am back in the area will definitely eat here again

I discovered this venue quite by chance, more because it was in a quieter part of Westfield, away from the crazy fast-food frenzy of the food court which is menacingly dominated by now ubiquitous giants of McDonalds, KFC and Burger King. For my part I have never even heard of Simone Remoli, although I am reliably informed, according to this restaurant's signage, that he trained in the kitchens of the finest restaurants in Rome, then decided to travel to London to 'extend his knowledge'. That strikes me as a somewhat random choice, given that he was disappointed by what he found. Apparently, that was what prompted him to open his own restaurant, which is how the company came to be. A commendable, if very unoriginal aspiration, I'm sure. Intrigued by the 'mix & match' concept of the place, I decided to give it a try. I liked that you are able to choose your pasta and your sauce separately, and everything is neatly categorized on a set of menu boards (see pictures). In the event, to save having to make a series of choices, it was easier to order one of the special 'signature dishes', in this case the spaghetti aglio, olio e pepperoncino (spaghetti in garlic with olive oil and chilli). I also ordered some olives and bread on the side. The bread was a selection of focaccia with an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dip (see picture), coming in at an extra £3.90. The olives were all very firm and green (see picture). also at £3.90. They were nice, but not worth the price tag. The spaghetti came with optional clams, adding another £4.90 to the £11.60 for the main dish, meaning the spaghetti alone cost £16.50! I was surprised at how quickly the pasta arrived, not having considered pasta as fast food before, but I guess it could be. To be fair the pasta was perfectly cooked (no less than I would expect) although it was only lukewarm. But it was good (see picture). The venue itself is actually quite an awkward shape, shoehorned as it is into the side of the thoroughfare, and on a kind of corner, and because of its position by the entrance it is a little drafty. Theoretically, it should be a pleasant vantage point from which to watch the passers-by, but in reality you are simply disturbed throughout your meal by an endless succession of groups of lairy and excitable youths. The chairs are all metal as well, so it isn't an ideal venue to spend a lot of time in. With drinks, the entire bill came to £30.40 in the end. That is a lot for lunch. It is overpriced, and the portions are not overly generous, but I like the concept, so probably would return. Pass on the side dishes and extras and it would be far more palatable.

If you want some pasta dishes that are a little different then try this place the selection is great and it’s all freshly made

Very dissapointing. Mozzarella pasta, undercooked tastless pasta, the basil and tomato sauce was bland, 3 small pieces of Mozzarella garnished with a single lonely leaf! All this for over £13! Wish I had photos! Watching the prep should have warned me, the food was thrown around. The people who work here don't appear to care, just a job. Save your money or try next door The Hungry Bedouin. Avoid....

Over priced and poor quality. The meatballs were more bread than meat and the chicken and peppers was full of chicken skin and gristle . Really poor experience, will not be returning.

I ordered a portion of Bolognese pasta, the smell was awful, I went to ask him if he could make another portion with pork but unfortunately the second portion was uncooked, I was very disappointed. I will never return to this place. 🤢🤮

ok, let's start talking about the quality / price factor, very convenient. I ate a pasta tagliatelle amatriciana, very good and typical Italian products, the staff is very courteous, and attentive to details, the place is clean and renovated, a friend recommended this restaurant to me, I heard that pasta with fish is very popular ... I will definitely come back to try it.

Ordered a takeaway large bolognese which cost £12. Not exactly cheap and was expecting a well made tasty dish. Instead I got a heap of wet pasta, a meagre amount of mince and zero flavour. Extremely bland and no care given to the food. I had to cook it further at home to add some flavour to it - for me it wasn’t edible before. Really poor needs to improve for this price tag

I work nearby and have had many a delicious takeaway from here, and had the pleasure of dining in with colleagues this afternoon. It did not disappoint! Ordered the mushroom and pancetta fusilli. As usual, the food was hot, plentiful and very tasty! Service was quick and all the staff are so friendly, I look forward to my next visit.

After a day in Central London with three small children, we returned to Stratford to eat before driving home and our hearts sank at the sight of the very busy, noisy food hall. Then we found this place a bit further along where the shopping centre felt much more peaceful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The prices were fairly reasonable for London and this was a holiday treat. We shared a large simple pasta dish and some sides: the bread and oil, olives, and the Parma ham with mozzarella. To us it felt like we were eating authentic Italian. (For the sake of transparency, we aren't Italian and have only been there once!) My husband and I had a lovely meal, although the aforementioned young children mainly ate plain bread and nibbled at olives because the Parma ham and mozzarella were not the cheap British supermarket variety which they are used to, which also added to the authentic holiday experience! (They are fussy about pasta being too saucy so we didn't want to fork out for the kids meal only for them to leave most of it.)

Just ordered the pumpkin ravioli pasta. Wow, the amaretto flavour was such a nice surprise. Tasted amazing, and really nice compliment to the sage and pumpkin. Love the burrata too. Definitely recommend :)

I regularly started to order croissants from this lovely place. They are amazing! I was missing that great Italian flavour... they also gave me a free krapfen last time because of my frequent orders. Amazing stuff! The food is great, I also tried lasagna and spaghetti from them. RECOMMENDED ❤️

Just what we needed on a cold lockdown day. The hot and tasty pasta more than made up for having to eat it sitting on a bench outside. We got to choose our pasta type, sauce and cheese. Huge portion, even though I think I had the regular as opposed to 'large'. We watched the pasta being cooked fresh. The service was attentive too.Half price for Black Friday - everything to love!

Tampoco estoy seguro de si la pasta con trufa es fresca, ya que vi al tipo en la cocina abriendo un paquete grande de pasta, como las que compras en el supermercado. Además, vi al cocinero poniéndose algo en la boca mientras cocinaba nuestra pasta. . . .

We stopped here with one of my friend for a quick bite. The restaurant is located on the lower ground floor inside Westfield. Order from the till mix up your choice and enjoy your meal really. We had tortellini and ravioli we both were very happy with the portion of the dish and the way it was seasoned however a bit extra parmigiano would have been nice but it wasn't really an issue. I might come back another time.

Si definisce ristorante Italiano, ma di Italiano ha solo “la furbizia”! Di primo impatto la pasta (che viene servita come se fosse un gomitolo di lana) viene proposta a sterline 4,80 ma a questo bisogna aggiungere ulteriori 4,90 per il condimento. In definitiva ho speso per una tagliatella alla bolognese 9,80. Lo stesso prezzo ho pagato il giorno prima in uno dei ristoranti più famosi di Londra e non certo un un mediocre “ristorante” allocato in un centro commerciale.Esperienza da non ripetere, sconsigliassimo

Abbiamo trovato la prima catena di Pasta Remoli per caso, è sembrato quasi un miraggio. L'unico posto che ti fa sentire a casa, ottima cucina Italiana.Servono pasta fresca con vari condimenti, dal pesto genovese, alla carbonara, cacio e pepe ecc.. Porzioni molto abbondanti.Il personale italiano è davvero il Top, gentilissimo, cordiale e all'altezza...l'unico da poter consigliare il tipo di pasta con vari sughi. Complimenti ragazzi!

Pasta Remoli had some good reviews when researching them online. Although sadly, my experience wasn't as good as I had hoped. I ordered the Truffle and Mushroom ravioli and it came out at room temperature. Despite this the service was great, as was the tiramisu.

Ho mangiato due volte in questo ristorante, la pasta è buonissima, come l'avrei fatta io ( e vi assicura che la pasta la so fare)Abbiamo mangiato sia i ravioli che i fusilli col sugo di pomodoro fresco. Ti senti in Italia anche col personale che è italiano e molto gentile. Il servizio è fai da te ma il piatto ti viene portato dai camerieri. Prezzo onesto. Paré en Westfields en un día en Londres, con mi hermana, y elegí Pasta Remoli para almorzar. Estaba bastante ocupado y había mucha gente y ruido. Las sillas de metal no eran muy cómodas para sentarse, pero tengo la sensación de que las personas no se quedaron por mucho tiempo después de comer y, aunque nos sentamos cerca del mostrador, había una corriente fría de los centros. puertas de entrada ya que estaban en uso constante. Elegimos la oferta de la hora del almuerzo. Pasta, salsa, ensalada y una bebida. La mía tenía 14 años y mis hermanas tenían 17, ya que ella tenía vino. £15.30 for a carbonara and Diet Coke... would pay less by the Trevi fountain! Staff didn’t have great attitude generally and won’t be going back. Disappointed with the whole experience, carbonara just tasted like a cheese and cream sauce.

First time visiting this establishment I follow their page on other social sites and had to go and try! The lady who served me was very polite and helpful she explained how the ordering system works and showed me different types of pasta I could order.Food was excellent and served very quickly, I could tell by the look and taste of the food that it was all fresh. I even went back for another portion and the same lady informed me that what I ordered was a smaller portion than usual (because it was a set deal) she suggested that I get a bit extra next time I come, i think it was only a couple of quid cant rember the exact amount(upgrade). Then she gave me a loyalty card and said once its filled i can get a free pasta.Would highly recommend this place.

This is authentic Italian, the owner tends to work in the Finsbury Park branch. My favourite is the oxtail agnolotti with parmigiano on top. It's scrumptious, so rich in flavour. I've previously eaten at their Finsbury Park restaurant, eating in and take-away, always very happy with the food. Buonissimo, grazie

OK this is a type of fast food place serving 'Italian' dishes in a shopping mall, so expectations were not that high anyway. This was one of the few places open after 8pm, we needed to eat so gave it a go. I had a feta cheese salad called Insalatona Remoli - all I could taste was salt. My wife had Gnocci which were pretty indifferent, with a mushroom sauce which seemed burned - probably scraped from the bottom of the pan. Not recommended if you like to enjoy quality Italian food

In diesem Einkaufszentrum gibt es viele Restaurants mit schneller Küche, einige besuchten wir in Vorjahren mit mäßigem Genuss. Diesmal waren wir Fünf mit den gewählten Pasta-Gerichten sehr zufrieden. Alles war heiß und wie bestellt richtig gewürzt zubereitet und wurde nach Vorkasse freundlich an den Tisch gebracht. Sogar der Wein war ganz ordentlich. Es ist zwar auch ein Schnellrestaurant, aber andere scheint es in diesem Center nicht zu geben.

I am a university student and whenever I wanted to grab something quick as a lunch or dinner that was the place to go. Relatively cheap for UK prices and the food is value for money.

We stopped here for an impromptu dinner because the restaurant we initially went to was truly awful. So glad we came here instead. The menu is simplistic and versatile as you can mix n match your pasta and sauce. The ingredients are fresh and perfectly cooked. My husband and I had such a lovely meal. This place is a revelation and every town should have one but then again maybe not as I don’t want this to become a big chain, the uniqueness will lost! I just want one where I live!!

Había visto este lugar de pasta unas cuantas veces y la comida siempre huele deliciosa. Elegí la pasta sin gluten, que era solo un tipo con salsa roja de mariscos y langostinos.

Me reí leyendo algunas de las críticas anteriores. Este lugar no pretende ser nada de lo que no es. No es buena comida; no tiene una extensa lista de vinos; Nunca tendrá el ambiente de un restaurante toscano. Lo que esto es, es un restaurante atractivo para el mercado masivo en la planta baja de un gran centro comercial.

La auténtica comida italiana no es rápida. Es lento, cuidadosamente creado y con estilo. Hacer cola para pedir la pasta y la salsa debería haber sido la advertencia que necesitaba. No hay lista de vinos. Dos opciones para el vino: rojo o blanco! Si esto despega, los italianos serán mal representados en una escala humillante.

Mi última visita a Pasta Remoli fue tan buena como todas las demás. Usualmente tomo algo para llevar de aquí, pero tuve tiempo para sentarme a esta hora y honestamente puedo decir que fue una pequeña visita. El servicio es rápido pero atento y la comida es simplemente deliciosa. ¿Es muy tentador estacionarme aquí toda la tarde y probar todo el menú?

We went here because we loved the idea of being able to 'mix and match' the pastas and sauces - there was something for everyone in my family which is rather difficult to find usually! The food arrived very quickly and while it was pretty good for the price, it definitely could have been better.

Westfield was heaving on a Saturday lunchtime, but the area called "Great Eastern Market" was quieter, and I went in Pasta Remoli because they had a great menu. What can I say? Lovely food but came lukewarm, if that. The place got everything right and was then let down by its staff on the day. I could have sent it back, but I was short of time. I had Aubergine & Ro-Tom Ravioli, made with green-tinged pasta packages and delicious. Over this a nicely piquant Bolognese sauce sprinkled with Parmigiano Reggiano. What a shame it wasn't served properly hot. Price, with a coffee, £12.20.

Ok, forget all the pasta/pizza chain in Stratford, go straight away to Pasta Remoli. It started extremely small with only about 12 seats cover but glad that it has grown and acquired a bigger space because they deserve to spread their deliciousness. Ambience is relax. Order food from the counter , any fresh pasta with any fresh sauce you like then serve at your table.

Ordered burrata and Parma Ham, some bread and pasta with pesto and pecorino. Cheap nasty bread, Parma ham smothered in oil, burrata not great, salad drowned... pasta less than average. £21, well over priced and poor quality!

I eat here twice a week, the pasta and sauces are excellent. Always a friendly service. I hate to recommend it as I might have to queue next time but it really is delicious food at good prices.

Ho pranzato in questo ristorante all'interno del Westfield Stratford martedì 5 febbraio attorno alle ore 13.30. Sono sempre scettico quando mi reco in un ristorante italiano al di fuori dei confini ticinesi, ma questa volta non sono rimasto deluso. Anzi !!! Ho mangiato le "linguine alla carbonara". Prima sorpresa: è guanciale !! Seconda sorpresa: la pasta è fresca, al dente e ben condita (quasi troppo guanciale, ma sono gusti personali). Prezzo assolutamente nella norma per qualità e quantità. Personale molto gentile, in particolare Elisa, sempre sorridente e velocissima nell'esercizio della sua funzione. Se ritornassi in questo magnifico centro commerciale, sicuramente proverei altri condimenti al "Pasta Remoli": ho visto che anche la "Cacio e pepe" ha un bell'aspetto.

Ordered for take away from Westfield Stratford, received a portion smaller than a kid’s portion and was charged about £20 for the measly meals, the sauce was sparse even though you have to shell out an additional £4 just for the sauce, it this made the pasta very very dry and unpleasant to eat. I have attached photos of the portion size and the bill.

Always loved this place! Very tasty and very fresh! My favourite pasta restaurant in London (and I eat in lots of Mayfair restaurants) ! Fast service and the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

I love the taste of cheesy pasta, I usually east fusilli with chees sauce. The service is fine, price is resonable for a good meal, especially weekdays between 4 and 6 pm when the second pasta is on half price.

Devo dire che non è la prima volta che mangio un buon primo piatto in questo locale.. Sempre ben condito con buoni prodotti. Puoi scegliere fra i vari tipi di pasta fresca e condirli con varie salse proposte in menù...Oggi tagliatelle con ragù di maiale, mentre gli altri hanno mangiato spaghetti all’astice e spaghetti al nero di seppia conditi ai frutti di mare. Tutto ottimo..

Room enough to eat and the food was very good, just not enough on the plate? There is a discretionary 20p service charge for the eat in service, so no objection to that. Over £28 for two mains and sparkling water and another nonalcoholic drink seemed a bit pricey for me so will not rush back.

For food, I give you a 4 to 5 out of 10. Was tasty but for environmental impact 0. Why do your staff need to dole out plastic cups with cans of coke? This is disgraceful in this day and age. Won’t go back.

Pasta fatta e cotta bene. Tortellini di buona qualità e piatti molto abbondanti. Dimezzerei la quantità di sugo con cui era condito il tutto.

This place got me out of surprise - I was still hungry after a very basic salad I had at the mall, that when I saw this place and fresh Italian pasta, I had to stop to have a simple tomato, basil and parmigiano reggiano pasta cheese! OMG, best decision ever. It was delicious!!

We've visited today for the first time and i think that the tomato sauce for the spaghetti needed a bit more time to be cooked as it taste soury which is very unsatisfying to digest.

Ho cenato insieme a mia mamma da Pasta Remoli invogliata dalle numerose recensioni positive e non sono rimasta delusa. Abbiamo preso un mix di pane e focaccia come antipasto, un piatto di maccheroni alla amatriciana e un secondo. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare un po’ perché il locale era pieno, ma la qualità del cibo ha ripagato l’attesa. Porzioni davvero abbondanti e deliziose. Il personale è gentile e disponibile, ho fatto presente la mia intolleranza al lattosio e sono stati subito disponibili nell’informarsi su cosa potevo mangiare. I prezzi sono nella norma. Ottima cucina italiana in quel di Londra. Torneremo sicuramente.

Visited Pasta Remoli on the back of strong Trip Adviser reviews. It is safe to say they were correct, it was outstanding. Knowledgeable staff to aid you when you are unsure of what to order.

My family and I stopped off in Stratford on our way into London, decided to have a light snack and we are so happy we did. The pannacotta with a leaf of basil was superb, the best I’ve ever had! Even better than I used to have as a child (sorry Mama). We also had tea, peach juice (very quenching and delicious) and bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. All very tasty! The staff are polite, helpful, accommodating and friendly and was the man himself, Simone Remoli. Well worth the visit and highly recommended!

Purchased fresh pasta to take home. Service is quick and friendly, pasta, fresh and tasty. Convenient location and handy stop off when shopping. You can buy your fresh pasta by weight and choose a sauce to go with it.

La comida allí era en general muy agradable y la gente que trabajaba allí era por lo general amable. Yo siempre me encantó el plato ragu/Boloñesa pero nunca quedé pasmado hasta he probado este. Yo personalmente recomendaría a cualquiera en este mundo. Así que si alguna vez vas a que intente hay comida Westfield tiene mejor plato que he probado aquí y creo que podría ser la suya.

Quando si desidera un buon piatto di pastafatta in casa e con un sugo sfizioso questo è il posto giusto in cui andare. Il personale italiano ti riconosce subito quando sente parlare l'inglese da noi italiani ed è molto disponibile e simpatico. Le porzioni soddisfacenti e molto ben condite. I prezzi in linea con Londra. Da provare se capitate da quelle parti.

The pasta is fresh and there is a large variety to chose on the menu including pastas, sauces and cheeses. I found that the better value are the meal deals where you get a salad and a drink with a pasta dish, this is around £14 which I think is still quite expensive for pasta but it is nice

Considerato il livello medio della gastronomia a Londra, direi che è un ottimo posto. Serve principalmente pasta fresca condita in molti diversi modi. Sostanzialmente si può combinare a piacimento un tipo di pasta fresca scelto tra una decina e un condimento tra un numero forse anche maggiore di scelte. Personalmente credo che con molti piatti (es. la carbonara) sarebbe molto più indicata una buona pasta secca e non vedo ragione di incaponirsi a servire quella fresca (se non la velocità di cottura). Il risultato è gradevole e, anche se in Italia sarebbe appena accettabile, qui è considerato di altissimo livello. Simpatico e molto gentile il personale, con la presenza di più di un italiano.

Viste le recensioni ci aspettavamo dei piatti piu gustosi. Buone le quantità, prezzi medi. Tagliatelle al ragù buone ma poco gustose. Molto deludente la cacio e pepe, sembrava una pasta con l'olio con il parmiggiano sopra, non si sentiva per niente il cacio.

I paid 9 pounds for some ravioli at the Westfield Stratford branch and I got about 6 pieces of ravioli...

I pass by this place every day to go back home and finally I tried it a few weeks ago...

Needed a quick bite to eat last weekend , I’m wheat intolerant so it was going to be a challenge....

La pasta fresca di ottima fattura, così anche il condimento. Personale italiano simpaticissimo e molto disponibile. Ritornerò volentieri.

We stopped there starving for pastas, wife was bit disappointed by chills spaghettis, way too waters and owlish, not spicy either, mine were ok was raviolis and lovely mushroom sauce. Service ? Sounds more like self service, also waitress came took dishes without saying excuse me or anything, nearly pushing your hands to get the dishes...

Good value Italian food. Plenty of vegetarian options decent size portions. Would eat there again, pleasant staff, give it a try

When I visited it wasn't busy so ordering was easy and fast. The food came quickly compared to other restaurants in the area. The pasta was delicious, (better then I expected!), - would visit again!

I had the house special Spaghetti with clams which was not cleaned properly. I could chew sand together with the clams. Service was next to none. Will not come again.

Food is excellent always freshly prepared, a lot of different pasta to choose from menu with different types of sauce .staff is always helpful and quick service

È difficile mangiare un buon piatto di pasta fuori dall'Italia, ma qui è possibile. Per quanto mi riguarda ho mangiato delle ottime tagliatelle, vi consiglio a tutti di farci un salto se siete a Stratford.

This has been the second time I had lunch at Pasta Remoli and I have nothing but praise. The food is delicious and freshly cooked with some of the best ingredients available and the flavours of Italy are brought to life. It is reasonably priced. The staff are cheerful and attentive. I look forward to returning again some day.

Great food - freshly cooked, and quick. Pasta and sauces were excellent. Be aware that this is an open shopping-arcade type of eatery, not a closed-door restaurant. Price averaged £8 - £9 for each main dish (i.e. pasta + sauce).

It's hard to choose which pasta and sauce to have but ended up with delicious lasagne, good wine and great service, had a lovely evening

Just walked past and called in. Very happy with the friendly service from the staff. Actually blown away with the pasta!!Just had a large Fusili Arriabbata with extra Parmesan. Super fresh and spicy. And the peroni was exceptional as it is always! Good value for money in my opinion. Well done and thanks. Will call again.
