Pasha Restaurant in Havant

The Pasha is our regular takeaway, occasionally we like to dine in. We did so on Saturday evening, five of us arriving at 6:30 and staying for well over two hours. It was nice to see the restaurant busy in the evening. It always makes for a nicer atmosphere. As ever, we were really well looked after. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. If they know you, there is always the right degree of friendly banter. Despite there being five of us, we always order enough for 7/8, to get the variety. We had: Chicken Hariali (highly recommended) Chicken Korma X 2 (one of the best) Lamb Passanda (went down well) Chicken Passanda (well why not) Chicken Jalfrezi (my choice, know what I am getting) And a couple of Chicken Shasliks (for the extra chicken, peppers and onions Plus the usual naan, rice, onion bhaji, kumbi bhaji, saag aloo etc. Everything was spot on. Absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the environment and the people. There was no change out of £200, but we were not complaining given the quality of our meals. See you soon!

Ordered a takeaway and was told to collect in 30 minutes. 1 hour later it still wasn't ready as my order had been given to someone else, they brought it back and mine had to be re cooked. Several others waiting for a takeaway as well. Had to phone twice initially to get order placed, front desk seems to have several people all working illogically and trying to do everything rather than having assigned tasks. Was offered a discount for my next order due to the issues with this order but I told them I didn't want the discount as I won't be going again which is a shame as we have used Pasha for many years but this is the second time we have had this problem so will now give another place a try.

Living in Denmead we have been limited with delivery so decided to try Pasha as our go to Indian does not deliver. Ordered online and was delivered. The lamb was extremely tough and overall the korma, and tikka masala was tasteless.

Went for a New Years Eve meal with our friends. The food was superb, all the staff very friendly and attentive. Very enjoyable evening.

All the family love to come to Pasha for an Indian and sit in a relaxed environment drinking Lager, eating poppadoms whilst waiting for a fabulous curry! The choice is vast and the flavours are plentiful - there is a curry here to cater to all tastes. Also, if you don't want to eat in they do a mean take away too! Love coming here!

Ordered a takeaway tonight by phone. Delivery very fast and food nice. However, on checking the bill, found we had been charged £3.50 for delivery and another 20 Pence because they had used a bag, Used to be that you ordered over a certain amount and delivery was free. Their menu shows no indication of these hidden charges ,and when we ordered there was no mention either. By the way we live less than a quarter of a mile from them. We have always used Pasha in the past, seriously considering going elsewhere from now on. 5 out of 5 for food, zero for sneaky hidden costs! Shame…

The food last night wasn’t great and we’ve both felt the affects all day today. Shame as we like the walk up and back and it’s a great place.

Sadly this will be our last order here. The chips and popadoms were just awful and one bag of chips never got eaten. Food quality has really declined over the months, not surprised the place was empty when collected.

Tried to order online. Didn't go through so went to order in person. Order different price from online ! Waited an hour still no food. When I asked where food was they couldn't find it! Chaos and bad service. Got money back. Left! Will never go back.

As a past customer I was very disappointed to return and find that the food was nowhere near our previous visits, we found it unbelievably salty and the sauces very grainy, to the point we were unable to eat it. The chef came and said he didn’t find it salty to his taste, to which I pointed less is more, and received a ten pound reduction off our of £90. This was little compensation for a ruined family event, needless to say we did stay dessert.

Food was late and when arrived it was cold onion bhaji was greasy and in strips not in a ball? Mango chutney was warm as was the mint dip worst Indian food I have ever ordered

We recently went for a meal here as it was highly recommended to us. And we weren't disappointed! The venue is modern and clean and the staff are smart, friendly and polite. As for the food it arrived in good time and was well presented and piping hot,really tasty too! We were so impressed with the place we decided to order a takeaway from there, the food was just as nice as having a sit in meal and quickly prepared and as I paid with cash there was a 20% discount which was brilliant, such great for and lots of it for so little money! Superb place, will be a regular now,as its one of the nicest meals I have had. Thank you

The rice portion was good but the chicken jalfrezi was lacking flavour and the chicken is sliced in every sauce which makes it quite dry.

When I arrived to collect my takeaway meal, I was told one price and asked if I was paying cash. I wasn’t and then the price went up. I asked the reason why and was told that it is 20% off for cash. I asked why I hadn’t been told this when I phoned. I was told I could go and use an ATM but I only had my phone on with no cards. He flippantly said that I could get the discount next time! ! I suggested I still get the discount as I hadn’t been given the correct information when calling them. Again he said I would get the discount next time. There won’t be a next time as I won’t be returning, despite being a customer for many years. In addition the pilau rice didn’t appear fully cooked as it was very nutty

Haven't been there for over 2 years, didn't disappoint, lovely food, polite friendly staff, ten out of ten.

Absolutely incredible meal. Had the 'surf and turf' was delicious. Their naan bread is absolutely the best we have had anywhere!!! Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend. Also... The staff were so nice and attentive!

We visited on Tuesday evening and place just had one other table occupied. The meal was tasty and promptly served. The Cobra beer was horrendously expensive (suggest avoiding this- its pretty tasteless and at 5.50 a pint just not worth the bother). The food however was much better. The dal could have been a lot more spicy (Tara implies spice). The mains were good- Chicken goan style and chicken with lentils. A pleasant evening in a mostly empty restaurant.

I don’t know why I let my wife convince me to order from here again. The first time we waited nearly two hours before I went to the restaurant to collect the order because we were so hungry. Today we have waited 2 hours again although this time for the last time! Don’t order for delivery unless you plan on ordering at 6:45 and eating at around 9pm!

Ate here with family early on Sunday evening including 4 children. Food was really lovely and tasty. Service was quick and efficient. Haven’t been for a long time. Will certainly be back

Order a takeaway I had a mixed kebab starter ok and a chicken balti main and this was Tasteless and unbeatable very poor and to top it off they try to over charge me only positive the young lady was very helpful

Not one to normally write reviews, however me and my other half ordered a takeaway tonight, we received our order but it had no flavour and looked very mushy and watery, so I called up and they said they would replace it, fine. So went back and spoke to someone who was very helpful but then the guys from the kitchen came out and started to have their say(absolutely fine) but basically telling me I’m wrong, was a very intimidating and awkward setting, especially being the only customer in there at the time, I was made to feel so uncomfortable that it actually made me very upset, in no way was I trying to tell them how to do their jobs, just that I wasn’t happy with my meal. the curry that they gave me tasted and looked exactly the same and so we were in the same position except the rice and poppadoms were now cold after having to wait, so obviously we didn’t eat it. Waste of money, just an all round horrible experience and customer service was very poor. Shame as we have had nice curries from there before.

Absolutely disappointed £30 wasted as tandoori mixed grill was all overcooked, chips undercooked tikka masala was shocking and we got a free nan which was burnt to a crisp on one side. I'll never order from here again

Our favourite Indian. Food is always high quality, service is impeccable. It's so good I went twice in one week to try different curries. Never disappointed.

Had a takeaway this evening- the first time for an Indian takeaway since lockdown I ordered a chicken Jalfrezi - a dish I often have but sadly was very disappointed. The chicken was sliced, dry and overcooked - normally I would expect succulent pieces of chicken breast- it was very disappointing. The sauce was watery, not full of flavour - I had expected the jalfrezi to have some chilli’s and a bit of a bite- there wasn’t any I had pilau rice and a plain naan- both of these were fine. We have eaten many times in the restaurant and had good food and enjoyed it- on the basis of this takeaway I assume either the chef has changed or something else but I won’t be getting a takeaway from there again I’m afraid

Shared a table with some friends as my first time out after a long covid period. Friendly staff, good food and a very pleasant ambience.

Takeaway order. Flavourless Dhansak curry, watery on top when it arrived. You can tell it’s not cooked fresh, couldn’t taste anything other than chilli... no garlic or ginger or any depth, just tasted like a watery bland vegetable curry with some chillis. The pilau rice wasn’t yellow like it should be and tasted like boiled rice. The onion bhajis were soggy, not crispy. Every time I eat a curry from this place I am disappointed.

AFTER WAITING AN HOUR AND HALF FOR MY TAKEAWAY TO BE DELIVERED to then discovering how unedible the food was this is possibly the worst curry I've ever eaten. Chicken didn't taste like chicken tasted weird and was very rubbery. The masala sauce didn't even taste like masala no flavour and so bland. Only 2 bhaji and samosas to a portion? Bit stingy. The naan dry as a bone. The poppadoms well don't even go there tasted liked a pub after a night out stale and tasted like they'd been fried in cigarette Ash smoky as anything and again didn't taste as it should. Overall very disappointed and will not be ordering again. DEFINITELY AVOID ORDERING A CURRY FROM HERE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AS THERES BETTER PLACES AROUND.

Meal arrived warm only 10 minutes from TA . Poppadoms were not fresh. My vegetable Biriyani had no fresh vegetables they looked as if they had dried out having been around a while and the Korma sauce was tasteless. My husbands Pathia had very little flavour and the chicken was very odd in texture. £22.70 mostly in the bin. Not a treat . Onion barjees were ok and the delivery man pleasant. Only had a Take away .Restaurant cosed

Food was excellent but poor social distancing measures in place. Our table was less than a metre from the table next to us with no perspex screens at all. Most of the waiters were wearing face masks, however the waiter that brought the food and leaned across us to put it on the table had his under his nose the entire time(!). Menus were not disposable either. Also clearly a large party of approximately 20+ occupying half the restaurant who whilst seated on tables of four to six, were shouting across to each other and at times 'visiting' each others tables.So disappointed, will not return until restrictions are over.

The worst curry i had eaten in my life. Me and my partner got very sick after meal. He could not eat anything for 2 days, we almost end up being in the hospital.Rice and naan bread was cold and very plain without any flavour whatsoever. Curry sauce wasn't as good as I expected. I have spoken to manager about this situation and had said that no one never complained about food and sickness but that isn't true as I see many people on tripadvir mention food poisoning, and that's very scary... Me and my partner will never go back again, that's for sure!

Will not use pasha again, for both delivery or dining! The food arrived cold in temperature, which is a complaint both my Dad and I have, and to top that my Dad, who had Chickin Tikka, is complaining that the chicken was tough and there was some egg shell in the Egg Fried Rise! Do not recommend, doesn't even deserve 1 star! Ashame because the food used to be good there.

Just had meal with family who travelled down from Hertfordshire. Well impressed from food to service. Polite staff . All was great. Well done.

Went with my friend who is very fussy with her food. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff, I have been here many times and so has my family and we love it here. So was nervous she wouldn’t like it. Had our starters and mains, service with a smile and a chat. Lovely hot and full of flavour. My friend really enjoyed it and said she would come back again. 2 happy customers keep up the good work!

Went for an eat out to help out dinner with my girlfriend last Wednesday. First time at Pasha. Beautiful place - nice ambience and lovely decor. The chap that took our order was really friendly and helpful as we're the two other waitresses. The experience was spoiled unfortunately by some grumpy guy who came out of the kitchen and started barking my order back at me. I felt we were missing one of the mains I had thought I'd ordered - one of the girls overheard me and went to check, and from out of nowhere this guy appears at the table with our order slip saying "you've got this, you've got that, you've got that etc" "What are you missing?". I tried to explain I couldn't remember the name of it but if I could see the menu I could show him" but he just tapped the order docket again and said we've got everything we ordered. I couldn't be arsed to argue and we had plenty of food anyway, but it's the first time I've ever not left a tip at a restaurant and I won't be going back. A real shame that the whole experience was let down by one idiot with zero customer service.

Looking forward to taking advantage of the 50% off that Boris has offered to boost the economy, my friends and I decided to visit this restaurant as we had all enjoyed food there in the past. What a disappointment. First the booking process, I’d booked for 7pm and confirmed it the night before. But on arrival we were shocked to be told we’d been crossed off the diary as a 6pm no show. Luckily a table was available soon after, but no apology given. This was not a good start. The service we received was very poor. Due to the offer, they were understandably busy. Yes we were being given 50% off our food bill , but , we were only given 20% of the normal service. We felt that the staff begrudged having to serve us. Leaving the 3 of us not wanting to return. The food was average.

We've just had our first takeaway since February and it was delicious. Order was taken, over the phone, by a very polite and pleasant lady, who told me delivery would be between 30/45 minutes and it was. Young lady rang doorbell and, social distancing, made sure I answered. Again a very pleasant young lady. Food was excellent, so good, that I hope Kaz & co keep this facility going when restaurants open fully, although that would mean we would miss seeing the great staff at Pasha. Thank you

I have been visiting PASHA restaurant for 5 yrs (possibly longer) and never regretted it.the food I order is always tastes lovely , the staff are courteous, the atmosphere is friendly and the price is good.Naturally I have tried other places, but nothing compares with PASHA .

So please when someone told me our local, exceptional Indian restaurant was doing Home delivery. Such wonderful news, so able to get our favourite. Whatever I choose I am never disappointed. I put order in just after 6 as I was not worried what time it arrived and was here by about 6.45 which was perfect.Thanks team Pasha

I ordered last night and I think I pressed the wrong button I wanted delivery but it said collection. They rang me I told them I had made a mistake and they delivered soon after.. well done and thank you for your help and a great service highly recommended xx

I don't really wanna give it a star, only if ever I read the reviews I would NEVER EVER ! Go there again, the time for this meal was over an hour nearly two hours for the meal to get to us. Lied by saying the delivery should be with us by 8:15 and did not get with us until 9:00 considering we put the order in at 7:22. The dinner then arrived it was AWFUL, COLD, NO FLAVOUR, then the popadoms were soft. I have never been disgusted by a meal and spending ALOT of money was NOT HAPPY ! DO NOT RECCOMEND AT ALL ! Then we phoned to complain the person on the phone was awful the ATTIDUE WAS DISGRACEFUL !

Took l 1.5 hours to get correct take away. Asked for name over phone when ordered, asked for name when told come and collect in 40 mins asked for name when they found me still waiting 30 mins after arriving then came out with order asked name again after they checked what was in bag was what I ordered, got home found out wrong meal, travelled back to get right order with them saying I gave my name wrong. Will not be using this dodgy outfit again.

Went to Pasha for a birthday celebration and had been telling everyone how lovely the food was.We asked about the advertised buffet menu and were told we could order a starter and a main? Is that a buffet?We decided to order off the menu.Firstly we ordered drinks and all four diet cokes were delivered flat. The poppadoms and dips were pleasant. I ordered a Passanda which I had at my last visit, this time the dish appeared that looked like chicken in custard and had no taste at all. Bland and unappealing. Three of us enjoyed the meals but the others would not go back.We didn't order any more after that and decided to come home for our own drinks and dessert and coffees.So disappointing when it's a special occasion and as we were the only table in the restaurant you couldn't say the chef was overworked.We did pay for the meal but feel it was very poor value and would be reluctant to book again for a special occasion.

Ordered two curry’s with rice, one sauce and poppadoms. The poppadoms were terrible the oil they were cooked in tasted rank. The curry’s had no flavour and made all of us feel sick. Will never go back again.

I’ll start of with the positives, nice atmosphere and decor. Nice service too, but that’s it.. The negatives: possibly one of the worst tasting Indian food I’ve ever had. As an Indian myself, I’ve had my fair share of curries so I’ve had many to compare this to. I ordered the butter chicken and it was SWEET like a dessert. I might as well have ordered candy floss for the same flavour. Couldn’t eat it without feeling sick. Butter chicken is not meant to be sweet!!!! The people that order this and are happy with it probably have never tasted a dish with flavour or any authentic spices in it. Good butter chicken is always red or orange in colour NOT yellow! The food had massive chunks of veggies in like they couldn’t be bothered to cut it, same with the chicken pieces. The pieces of chicken were all tandoori that were chicken in different sauces, not marinated in the curry like you are supposed to. Even the spicy curry wasn’t very spicy and it had no flavour too, how can a dish be spicy and have no flavour- thats a whole level of bad.I can’t stress how bad the food is. If you enjoy the food here you probably don’t have tastebuds and order plain chicken at Nando’s :)

Nice food in good surrounds, good choice of veggie options. Pickle tray with poppadoms a little generic would be my only minor criticism.

Lovely meal. Very tasty with great flavours. All staff welcoming and attentive. Loved the Bangla beer as well. Would definitely recommend.

Food was very mediocre...no flavour to any of the meals. Chicken tikka very bland covered with half a plate of onions and garnished with a tired salad and dried up piece of lime. Tikka Marsala nothing like tikka marsalas had elsewhere but worst of all we were rushed throughout the meal and 4 times people came with the bill and machine even though we hadn't finished and had only been in there for 90 minutes and there were lots of spare tables. We won't be returning...

We had a take out last night; order wrong and all the sauces indistinguishable. Lamb poor quality and few pieces. Rice in biryani was sad and tired. Felt bloated all night (and i didnt eat loadsfor previous reasons). Shall stick to our local!

My husband and I come here on a regular basis and never disappointed. We often go for a cheeky mid week treat. They always make us feel special with a great community spirit.Weekends we'll collect a takeaway from here and the food is still to the same standard.

Visited here early July with family. Meal was lovely and it made such a refreshing change to be served Popadums and pickles (don’t get that in NZ). The curries, riches and naans where just lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed and not a morsel left on a plate

Excellent food, reasonably priced drinks and very friendly staff in very comfortable surroundings makes it a very enjoyable experience. I, my wife and friends go there frequently and are never disappointed.

Once is a mistake, twice is bad luck, by the third time it became very clear it is a scam. They are also currently answering the phone number of a nearly closed takeout the Palash. They insist that is who they are; however, when you turn up to collect your order, the Palash is closed and there is small stuck to the window saying "nearest Indian takeaway is the Pasha". Why not be upfront and say they have taken over the Palash's telephone number? Scammers!

Went for the first time and sadly won’t be back. Starters were extremely oily and the chicken in the mixed grill main was over cooked and quite dry.

Ordered 5 curry’s and only got 2 rices to share between the family .paid £65 for the hole meal and when asked for the rice was told to come and get it .

Two of us eat there for the first time in November. It was early evening and midweek and we were the only one's there. We found the music playing too loud. If the restaurant had been full then the volume would have been fine. The food was fine, nothing particularly outstanding. Service was friendly and attentive. Will no doubt visit again in the future.
