My first visit to the restaurant very impressed with everything. Excellent menu to choose from, the food was cooked pefet and well presented on the plates. Good selection of wines to choose from. The deco in the restaurant is very nice looks authentic. Staff very friendly.

I ate here last night. I had Sigara Boregi (filo pastry with feta cheese and parsley) for starters, followed by Guvec (with lamb) for mains. Everything from the food to the service by our Romanian waitress was flawless. Would definitely return.

Avoid this place at all cost. Food very basic nothing special, service was very poor the waitress can’t even speak proper english very rude with attitude! Not happy won’t be coming back.

Fabulous food , there were 6 of us we all had different dishes and we all cleared our plates , very tasty and not greasy

Could not fault it. First time I've been but will not be the last. Gorgeous food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food was fresh and not rushed.

We ordered Albanian liver, Sigara Boregi, lamb chops, Adana, lamb & vegi moussaka. We also received a Hummus on the house. Everything was delicious.

Absolute joke. Booked 3 weeks in advance for a family celebration of 17 people. They hadn't bothered putting the heating on. It was so cold we sat in our coats. Then when we tried to order drinks, there was no draft beer available whatsoever. They wanted us to pay extortionate prices for bottles of beer and cans. Everything we asked for They didn't have! They claimed the delivery didn't arrive on Saturday! We walked out in disgust.

The service was very bad, the food took to long. It was very cold and uncomfortable. The portion was very small. I wouldn't recommend.

Went for the belated celebration of my mother in laws 75th birthday which also turned out to be the same day as one of our friends birthday so double celebration 🎊🪅🎉🎁🎈🍰. The staff were amazing they had decorated the table with sparkly centre pieces put a birthday banner up. The food was as outstanding as the previous time we had been. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they didn’t rush us between courses either like some places do. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the portions are very generous. At the end of our meal, they dimmed the lights played happy birthday and brought out a lovely desert with sparkling candle in for the birthday girl, Top class service all round. We will definitely be going back.

Food was okay, but manager was extremely rude. We waited 40 minutes for just starters, so we just politely asked how long it will be (as we could have it with the mains as it might be easier) and the manager said a snarky comment “it will take as long as it takes” and suggested if we dont like it we can go somewhere else. Bad experience do not reccomend

Perfect food, hightly recommendet

First time coming here and loved everything about it. The atmosphere, the decor, the service and the food. We had the hummus to share for starter, my partner had the mixed shish and I had the chicken beyti. It was just enough food that tasted delicious. At the time of booking I mentioned it was my boyfriends birthday and after our meal they brought out a small dessert platter with a sparkler. It was a lovely surprise to top off a lovely evening. The restaurant is lovely and friendly and the food is excellent. There is a good selection of dishes. I had moussaka and I can honestly say its the best I've ever tasted. It's slightly on the expensive side but well worth it. I will definitely be going back. It makes a nice change to eat good quality food.

Terrible customer service and grumpy manager. Visited here twice now and first time we went they got the order wrong. Despite looking at staff and them looking back at you they didn’t seem to catch on you wanted something. Second time was terrible. Got the order completely wrong again despite informing them they got it wrong first time but we didn’t complain that time. No offer to exchange food just basically said “well don’t eat the Adana then you have your lamb and chicken” Not really the point. Asked to speak to what “appeared” to be the front of house manager and she looked like a rabbit in the headlamps when I asked to speak to her. Told us that she wasn’t the boss and he was in the kitchen… No officer to discount, a very cold unwelcoming atmosphere won’t go again. Tried Istanbul around corner and has much better service.

Beautiful restaurant, stunning food and brilliant atmosphere.

We visited last night a group of 16 of us . Every thing was outstanding . The food the service and just place its self had a nice cosy feel to it. I had the mixed grill and it's one of the best I've had . A few in our group had never had turkish food before and were blown away by it !!!! 100% be visiting again

Having family visit from various parts of the country us we decided to book Pasha, having been there on a few occasions previously. We paid a £10 per person deposit few days before because there were 12 of us, but when we arrived the staff were surprised to see us and there were no tables set up.Having hastily pulled a few together we sat down and eventually ordered our food. The food was very tasty, but for some reason we had to go and order drinks from the bar instead of being served at the table. Afterwards we asked for coffee, but were told they didn't have any - a Turkish restaurant that doesn't have coffee???!!! There was a definite lack of interest and attentiveness from the staff, and given there is a direct competitor literally around the corner which we have been to before, this was our last visit to Pasha.

Fantastic meal for my mum's 60th Birthday! The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I would highly reccomend this restaurant.

Atmosphere cosy, chilled, food fantastic, service excellent. Had been to another place close by and hands down this was so much better. I don't normally do this but I passed my compliments to the kitchen. Will definitely be going back and recommend. Had a great evening.

Been coming here for years now, it's our favourite place for Turkish food. They are so friendly and welcoming and that's from the manager (who my kid calls 'Mr Pasha'), tucked into a little side street Barnsley town centre, best restaurant we've ever stumbled upon. We invariably always end up ordering the Barnsley Special, a huge platter of really tasty authentic food, enough for two hungry bellies and then some leftover too. We've had the stuffed vine leaves, filled filo pastry rolls, sausages in sauce and meatball starters before now as well (pictured), never disappointed. The decor is divine, really comfortable, good facilities and a relaxing environment too. We've ordered to home and visited the restaurant in equal amounts, both as high a standard.

Ordered 3 Lamb shish, humus and spicy ezme today. The food was outstanding the lamb was very tender and juicy the portions were filling. We loved the freshly made Turkish bread, my daughter loved the rice the salad was fresh and crunchy. Honestly it was just perfect. Will definitely visit again.

The restaurant is very romantic, gorgeous with wonderful ornamentation, decoration, clean dressing room. Not only the food was very delicious, but the staff is also welcoming. Great atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone. It was more than only an experience, I love this restaurant.

Quite an odd little night out, the floor in one side of the room seems to slant so the table and our chairs were not level, the very helpful girl who was our waitress unfortunately did not understand that five choices of lager did not mean that they served beer. But the food itself was absolutely glorious

Over a week ago we booked pasha Turkish restaurant in Barnsley for my birthday on Saturday night at 8pm as we were then going to have our meal then had arranged to meet our friends afterwards, we had really been looking forward to it all week, we arrived just before 8pm and was just stood there nobody came to us so we went over to the bar ordered some drinks and told them we had booked a table and after a few minutes a waitress that clearly wasn’t happy showed us to a table. So me and r Malc just sat there chatting away and looking around as you do waiting for someone to come then after around 20 mins the same waitress comes over and we had a few questions about the food which she answered while looking bored and then took our order by which time we had no drinks left but nobody was behind the bar and nobody came over to see if we wanted more drinks or to explain that maybe they we’re running behind or any othe explanation for the delay! 50 minutes later we decided to leave as we still hadn’t received any service whatsoever no food no drinks no nothing, a young man sat across from us came over and asked us if we were ok he said he was the owners friend and after we explained what had happened he apologised and asked if we could wait a bit longer to get our food but as I explained it was too late by then Malc was chomping at the bit thirsty as owt and on one by this time and we were both starving but the night was ruined as we then didn’t get to meet our friends and just got a taxi home so thanks for that pasha we definitely won’t be returning!!

Staying over in Barnsley for a short period of time and wanted some tasty food alternatives to your usual fast food chains. This was utterly fantastic. We ordered a variety of food from the menu, for a family of 4 and we weren't disappointed. The lamb shank was amazing. The Turkish Sausage starter was one of the favs. The salad was fresh and tasty. We have leftovers ready for tomorrow. Oh, and the restaurant was spotless when we went to pick up the food. I can see why they have a 5 star hygiene rating.

Absolutely beautiful food. I had garlic prawns, my missus had garlic mushrooms with cheese to start, wow!!!! Then I had rib eye steak medium rare, I didn’t think it could get any better but the steak was cooked to absolute perfection, my partner had the pasha special and she ended up taking what was left home it was that nice, we will definitely be back, absolutely astounding food, and service, thank you

We have been going to Pasha for years and it is always lovely food with good service and very resonably priced. We go to Turkey a lot and I have to say it is better than some of the restaurants when we are there.

Great place to get traditional Turkish cuisine. The place is cosy, staff are welcoming and the service is fast. When it comes to the food itself my friends and I were blown away by the savour, taste, consistency and presentation of all dishes. Nice atmosphere and clean tables, chairs, bathrooms and floors !

Veggie main (sans meat) was lovely and tasty. Starter of Garlic Mushrooms in creme sauce and flat breads to dip, very nice. Service was nice and friendly. Nice smells, music and decor.

The food was delicious. Freshly prepared and the service was excellent Mezze platter for two to start was lovely and plenty of it. Vegetable skewer for main course was also great. Would highly recommend as it’s also good value for money.

Service and food equally great. Considering how busy it was in town for Barnsley Live on the Saturday I visited, we are able to be seated without a booking. The gracious host took our order and brought drinks in minutes, the restaurant was busy, but the starters were on the table very quickly. Hot soft fluffy flatbread, nice olives, delicious. Our mains were ready quickly and we tucked into some succulent lamb shish kebabs. Everything was excellent about the experience at Pasha I was very impressed. It's obvious the managers and staff know their business at this place. Recommended 100%

First time ordering from here. Quick delivery (Wednesday night) placed order and 40 mins later it arrived. I ordered prawn starter with rice & other half ordered chicken shish. Food arrived warm and was lovely. Good portion size too. Not too much and not too little. We will order again.

Ordered chicken shish, prawns, chip, turkey bread for 2, feta salad and humus... they accepted the offer but only sent the salad, and now I have to wait 1 week for a refund. Absolutely appalling. They should have just not accepted the order

Absolutely disgusted by the service I just received. I have ordered from this place twice. The first time they forgot to add the cheesecake in the bag, when I told the owner he'd forgotten to add the cheesecake he said "I can't remember your order now so nothing I can do...we don't give freebies" I never asked for a "freebie" simply asked for what id already paid for. This time they tried to charge £4 for sauce that comes with your food already and they forgot to add the rice for the two casseroles. When I called them to say they'd forgotten the owner rudely said "I'm busy and havnt got time to talk to you" and passed the phone to a woman who said its my fault for not checking the bag before we left the restaurant and hung up on me. I made my order online, you'd think they'd be able to read it and get it right! It wouldn't be as bad if they wasn't so rude about it. They have absolutely zero customer service skills.

Was welcomed into the place and shown to our seats.staff were attentive all night. The food was great we all had different meals and was served together.

A lovely restaurant serving great food and with brilliant staff. We’ve been going in on a Wednesday evening for a few weeks now and can’t fault the place. The only thing that is disappointing is that there are so few people eating there which is a shame, they really do deserve more diners. Lamb chops to die for and husbands favourite is mixed grill.
