Very friendly staff, tried the pasties, school cake and a cup of tea. All really tasty, the tea was the best takeaway I have ever had. Well done to all staff.

They do a great lunchtime deal for £4:50 You should try it

Rude unhelpful staff who would not tell us where the nearest toilets were or let us have a small glass of water on a scorching hot day, despite the fact that we had paid for coffees and breakfast which we were eating at a table outside. Breakfast sandwich dry and barely any butter or sauce, with the tiniest amount of bacon and a cheap nasty walls style sausage, lost inside the dry doorstop bread. Not a good experience today.

Stopped by for a coffee and a breakfast. Also asked for a glass of water to be able to take some medication and was told the tap water will give you "stomach problems" and is not drinkable. I queried this as it is a civic UK water supply. Must be the only place in the UK which doesn't have safe mains water? I suspect it is false information as they later said head office does not allow (paying) customers to drink their water as they sell bottled water. Staff were incredibly rude and argumentative and the bacon and sausage sandwich had almost no butter or brown sauce despite specifically asking for both. Utterly shamefull, avoid.

Vile baguettes and sandwiches.. never had such disgraceful food, bacon was absolutely ridiculous.. not just cold and hard but like dried out crusty leather.. I'll never order from here again!!

I love this Parsons it has a lot of emotional value. But it is getting way to expensive and it not good so please make the prices go down how ever up there. The staff are good . But the people up top are very greedy and horrible and its spoiling every thing. Nice new seats to sit on. The prices are very high stop raising prices. The cups are getting smaller

Popped in for a coffee and pasty deal. I had a festive pasty, turkey carrot and cranberry. Lovely and hot. Sat outside.

If I could rate no stars I would. Ordered this morning bacon raw. Steak pasty was raw. So much sugar on bread pudding was inedible. As a pregnant woman this could have caused serious harm. Complained and this company should be severely ashamed!

Bad service give us wrong food and we waited another 20 minutes for our request and then game back to us and the said they don’t have enough they asked us to pay for food we already paid for it I don’t think they know what they are doing they not even apologised what they done very rude old lady serving with Yong lady they don’t have clue what they doing not recommending this place at all

Cheese and onion pasty was cold and empty, the quality is dropping down

Ive gone in today and heard summer was let go, I previously left a review saying how she and ben were the only reason this place has any business as the food is average at best and with greggs next door I only went for the conversation and cheapness . considering one staff member is miserable every time they serve me I won't be going back again.

Called on from our bike ride ( Chippenham )as advertised bacon sarnies and coffee .. I’m sure other food was ok as looked ok but it was the worst bacon sandwich we’ve ever had .. bread was like doorstops and not nice and bacon was cold and not tasty ..

Came on Sunday 15th October brought an iced latte. I expected a full drink don’t half a drink. I go in here every week for a drink and this is not on

Small bakery shop with a nice selection of cakes, pastries and savoury options. I chose a Bun snd flat white, both were lovely. They have some indoor and outdoor seating. Service was fast and friendly.

Gone a bit upmarket recently, £3 for any pasty (up from £1.50). We can recommend the chicken supreme or the steak & Stilton. They could do with a proper Belgian bun but otherwise perfect. Always good service. It's no surprise they are always busy.

Well how do I start, it was a lovely spring morning and the was the sound of music resonating from the high street. I walked into Parsons with a skip in my heel and a hum in my head enquiring about my morning coffee. The staff were so friendly that they sold a bunch of food I didn't require and is now sat in my van until lunch. I'm looking to the muffin though I have left with a smile on my face and would definitely go back. The End !!!

Parsons is the best bakery In Chippenham, I regularly buy their pasties, I love the steak pasty and their cheese and onion is to die for. The staff have always been really nice, chill, professional and helpful. I’d recommend over Greggs or that other place on the high street. I rate them big time.

Failure in the ordering process with Uber eats Food was prepared and left on the counter before a driver had been assigned and subsequently the food was stone code when it arrived a hour later. Manager (a guy), was flippant and dismissive , and refused to ask the area manager to call me, continued to justify this clearly flawed process , I even rang after 45 mins when I seen a driver hadn’t yet been assigned ,to advise I Didnt want cold food and they refused to cancel or place hot food out for delivery.

Went down at 3 o clock Monday. Shop diserted. Asked for a small sourdough. Which was quiet expensive at £2.60, for what was a very small loaf. I asked the chap serving whether he could put it through the slicing m/c. He replied "sorry I've switched it off" so much for customer service!!

Ordered a breakfast sandwich and there is an options YES/NO for butter. As someone who cannot eat butter, i said no. Arrived smothered in butter and went to waste. Why ask if you don’t read the option the customer has put??? very disappointed and a waste of money.

the people that work there are grate the food is good cake are to diy for.you can sit out side which is very good you can smoke and vape out side again wich help my dad a lot.

Great local bakery. The bread is great and what you'd expect but nothing out of this world or artisan. Just great value for good quality stuff

Good value meal deal, however would be ideal if all ingredients were listed on the sandwiches.

Their pies are really nice with a decent amount of filling. Great coffees too. Thier prices, however, are not the same across different branches though (hence the 4 stars).

Delicious hot baked goods. When searching for a quick bite to eat, we stumbled across Parsons. Absolutely delicious and piping hot food. Excellent coffee too and great value with friendly service. Can’t ask for better. Give them a try

Savoury pastries are delicious...cake looks fantastic too! Coffee is strong but good and hot. A few seats ar bar along the wall and a couple of smokers tables outside. Good value

Visited a couple of times during a few days stay in Chippenham. Great value for money sandwiches, coffee and cakes. Bacon sandwich particularly good. They do the old school cakes very well such as Chelsea buns.

Best sausage sandwiches in town on fresh white or brown bread , thick sliced. Pasties are fantastic value for money as are the cakes Not sure why they do a fake price hike to reduce items , but don’t care as always cheap and great selection and quality

Came to have a look at Chippenham today,wandered around for an hour and needed a coffee.Saw Parsons Bakery....coffee £1.00,though yes that looks good. No fuss coffee,asked the young lady for two coffee she said....just ordinary coffee,what a delight,none of this Latte,cappuccino nonsense,just two nice coffees.Wonderful array of pastries and savouries and filled rolls. Chose two cakes,wasn't I surprised when I paid,the bill was only £3.90! Really nice coffee(served in a cardboard cup,but still good)The cakes were really fresh. Will certainly visit again......Watch out Gregg's and Costa Coffee,you have genuine competition. Well done Parsons Bakery.

Visited for the first time today bought lovely cakes also bought two filled baguettes...fillings lovely but let down by undercooked doughy bread, please put this right as everything else in this shop is lovely tasty and fresh.

Such friendly staff, the prices are so cheap I dont know how they do it, Pastys are better than the cornish pasty shop and 1/3 of the price, their sausage and bacon sandwiches using thick fresh on the premise cooked bread are amazing, and the selection of cakes is great, How they fit it all into this tiny shop I dont know, but its my only stop for Sausage sandwiches when Im in town.

Best value place for pasties etc, don't always have what I would like to eat, maybe just too popular.

Great lunchtime food and drinks at really good prices. Food was good and staff helpful, offering to add cool milk to my young sons hot chocolate for him. Only draw back for my part is no gluten free options. But have to give five stars, after all a happy child makes for happy mummy and good prices make a treat, a treat in the pocket too.

Lovely lady in there alway chatty, Good deals, coffee £1 pastys £1.50 and cakes are cheap too shame there not more seats out side in the nice weather

Love this little bakery in town, fresh made cakes and pasties and sandwiches. Cheapest in town by far and certainly the tastiest. There is a seating area inside and some tables outside too.

Coffee £1, any very tasty pasty £1-50, baguettes £1-50, cakes only 95p what's not to like, our first visit we will be back.

I can't go past a bakery without looking in the window and then going inside. Parsons Bakery was no exception where I wandered in and left with a bag of sweet, yummy goodness. Parsons' goods are delicious and a great value.

Esta es la tercera sucursal de Parsons hemos estado: Malvern y en Worcester. Como los otros dos un lugar excelente para una bebida caliente muy razonable y aperitivo. No ha intentado sus tartas, pero por £1. 50 eran muy sabroso y sin duda deleitarse de nuevo. Sus pasteles son una excelente relación calidad-precio y de muy buena calidad. Así que si estás fuera y necesitas un buen aperitivo relación para mantenerte busque Parsons panadería.

I work in Chippenham and pop into Parsons most days mainly for a coffee, but often tempted by the savouries and cakes! Excellent value and the staff are always very friendly and it`s nice to have a laugh with them.

Friendly folk, busy with a wide selection of cakes, rolls, etc. Neat and clean with good prices.

Fresh baked food when needed, with a great selection of coffee that tastes 100% than the costa next door. As for disabled access, there's a small 2" inch max step into the shop so hardly bad access and if you really needed help getting in the staff would easily help out so I think the 1 star review is overly critical!

After many visits to Sainsbury's for lunch, we ventured into town one day, and found Parsons. And what a find - large very filling pasties 1.50, an endless range of very tempting cakes, at 75 pence each. I suddenly wish I lived in Chippenham.

Good food and cheap coffee, best on the high street. Friendly staff and always offers on. Good mix of sandwiches, pastries and cakes

If you are in town try parsons for a snack . Nice sandwiches and tea as well as good pastries . Much cheaper than most

I have visited this place a few times for a pasty for lunch. They are great value and the cakes are good too. The staff are lovely and it is always my first choice if I want a quick lunch!

As a first time visitor to Chippenham, I popped into the bakery for a slightly late and rushed lunch. I was very pleasantly surprised by the vast selection of both sweet and savoury goods, and the price was a real bonus too. Great filled rolls for £1.50, a fantastic pork and stuffing pasty for the same price and a huge array of cakes at only 75p each. When high streets are struggling across the country, the quality, value and customer service (very informative and cheery staff) were a real credit to the bakery and to the town. I'll definitely pop in again if i'm passing through.

Super bakery with prices that reflect living in the real world everything in this shop is far cheaper than any other shop in the town with no compromise on service seating is restricted but takeaway a bargain bun well done girls

This bakery is in the main high street and sells hot savouries [wonderful pasties - considerably cheaper than any other café in the town] + fantastic home made cakes and coffee - lattes etc The staff cannot do enough for customers. The only downside is that seating is a little limited both inside and outside. Prices of all beverages and food reflect extremely good value or money and it is by far the best café we've eaten in for a long time. Highly recommended.
