Amani give great service, really lovely and chatty

Arrived looking for a table for 4, seats were dirty. Marks all over them, others worn down. Plates on tables that hadnt been cleaned up, when food came The Gravy one was lovely without the gravy, horrible taste to it, cheese burger was burnt, steak from mixed combo had no taste to it and Plate freezing for a steak plate, Peppers were cold to. Chips were very bland. Had to go to maccies round the corner as daughter was starving from only eating a burger bun aswell. Won't be going there again, whistling wren a better option

A nice Tuesday morning breakfast at The Parsonage in Leigh. Thanks to Kelly for serving and checking on us. Good parking and facilities. We brought the kids on a previous visit and they played on the play area outside. Recommend if youre in the area.

We’ve recently started making the parsonage a weekly trip out as a Friday treat! The food is amazing and the staff are all brilliant and do everything to make sure we are happy with our food drinks and service! Great place and highly recommend! Special shout out to Leanne and Amani!

Been coming here years, always good service and food is always spot on. You get exactly what you pay for, a decent, filling, hot meal.

Had breakfast with my son this morning but unfortunately I was disappointed. The cleanliness could have been better and the place looked a little run down. Food arrived luke warm only. Won’t be returning. The member of staff was lovely though.

Family time every time here ever so friendly came for my mums bday she’s 82 this time and still looks a good meal and beer who doesn’t mind you she don’t look it . Jay was ever so helpful offered to drop the blinds when sun was shining in etc good tasting food and drink we’ve been here around 60 times in all the years

To say I’m appalled is an absolute understatement. As someone with an invisible disability I have become mostly immune to incompetence in hospitality environments as I don’t expect them to be trained in the appropriate ways, I do however expect some level of empathy and emotional intelligence when handling disabilities and I can assure you that was not achieved at this pub. Myself and my partner, both young adults for reference, came here for tea but I needed the bathroom first. I have a heart block and am prone to passing out, at this time I was extremely wobbly and so asked my partner to assist me in using the bathroom. After entering and being assisted I was startled by violent knocking and what I can only assume was a worker shouting “is there two people in there??” I responded that I had a disability and was being aided with this and despite that I was then subjected to more banging and someone shouting that two people cannot be in the toilet at the same time. Eventually after being forced to shout back that I was disabled several times and they eventually left. This was such a disgusting and horrible experience we both decided to leave instead of getting food. Just because I am young and do not “look disabled” doesn’t give me any less right to use a disabled bathroom. I have a severe heart block and had I have collapsed would have potentially died without anyone being able to help me. Being kind and empathetic costs nothing. Train your staff and do better.

Cosy little pub, handy for retail park customers as it's right in the middle of everything. Very quiet and warm inside with a cosy, traditional aesthetic. Spacious with plenty of seating areas, when we went 2 rooms were occupied for a large booking but still plenty of tables in nice areas to choose from. A unique feature at some of the tables is an integrated TV screen quietly playing live news. Food was served pretty quickly considering it was the lunchtime rush, not the nicest gammon I've tasted but all food was very clean and filling. We decided to get desert, not too rich but appetising and tasty. Prices were fair too. Overall, quality in a very good spot, would definitely come back.

Brillaint place, came here for my mothers birthday with the family, servers are abolutely amazing, and fun to chit chat too. They crack amzing jokes and keep fun and appropriate conversations! 100% recomend for everyone! All family is welcome! Thank you!

The food was lovely and well priced. It was fairly busy, but the food still came out in a reasonable time. The server Leanne was very friendly. Overall it was pleasant very experience, I do recommend.
