This is a great place to eat and very local to us when we holiday in St Florence. 4 of us had something different off the menu and all food was home cooked, piping hot and delicious. The menu is not extensive. Just good pub food and the dining area is nothing special, but quiet, so you can have a conversation in peace. Recommended if you like plain and simple.

Lovely little inn. Such nice and friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms were. Very modern and artistic. Fresh towels and toiletries given ands TV in the room. I feared that staying above a pub would be loud but you can’t hear what’s happening downstairs from the rooms.. Only issue was the light was not working soo we had to use the side lamps which had very dim light but it was fine for a couple of nights. They offer dinner and breakfast. We got the vegetarian breakfast which was yummy. They had a pool table that we played on aswell. Lovely outdoor seating too. Plenty of parking space. Definitely 100% recommend

I booked this based on reviews and was a bit disappointed hence my very average rating. We ordered and one of the meals arrived as a completely wrong dish. Then another we were told was delayed. So three meals arrived then about 8-10 minutes later two more. The food was good sized portions but I feel a strange combination of veg curry, boiled rice and chips? I’d say everything was frozen and reheated. One plate had a big chip of china out of the corner. Then we decided to go for deserts which were very underwhelming and again just microwaved and tasteless ice cream or cream. One child’s desert we waited another 5 minutes at least for two scoops of ice cream! The people serving appeared stressed or disinterested. It was hard to get a servers attention so I went to the bar to get the second drinks, although it was added onto the table. The childrens drinks were just handed to them in the can. The menus were also in need of a good wipe over as they were sticky. Generally I thought the place grubby, including the tables and chairs. It might suit the locals who don’t have a lot of choice within walking distance but I would not visit a second time if I’m in the area. For a total for five of us, just under £110.00, I feel we could have got a much nicer meal in more pleasant surroundings.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was absolutely lovely. From the moment we arrived, in the very spacious car park, the staff were so attentive and friendly. Before being shown to our room I asked if they could possibly fit us in for dinner as we hadn’t made reservations anywhere and they booked us in straight away. We were shown to our room and told about all the times for breakfast and given the code for the Wi-Fi - which was slightly iffy, my partner managed to log on straight away but for some reason my phone took a few hours but after that worked absolutely fine for the remainder of our stay. We unpacked and then went down for dinner, they have a varied menu to suit all tastes and for incredible value. The food was really good and huge portions, we definitely didn’t need dessert but tried to squeeze it in anyone. It was incredible value for money! I also have to mention breakfast, it was amazing!! We both had the Full Welsh, and alongside that you can also have cereal, fruit and yoghurt but we thought after seeing the portion sizes the night before we’d better not. Thankfully we didn’t as the breakfast is a perfect size, alongside rounds of toast, tea, coffee and juices. I would go back just for the breakfast to be honest but the whole stay was just brilliant from start to finish.

Avoid if in the area, terrible food and service. We came as a family of three whilst holidaying in the local area. The place looks inviting from the outside but looks are deceptive in this case sadly. Food - we ordered starters and mains. My daughters garlic bread starter was cold and clearly had been reheated adequately. This was rectified but no apology or any other gesture to make up for this. My halloumi was nice, my partners ‘nachos’ was a bowl of tortilla crisps with cheese on the top, microwaved, and some ramekins with sour cream and guacamole. Mains are where things get really bad. My partner had the 10oz rump which was huge and oddly cooked - bits were burnt to a crisp, others gristly and raw. Peppercorn sauce was clearly cooked from frozen as it was so watery. My gammon was ok but the fried egg wasn’t cooked enough (snotty) and the pineapple ring had the skin on. My daughters battered cod was horrific. It smelled very very fishy (literally) and tasted off. Not sure what was in the batter but it looked yellow ?tumeric. She could not eat it and we had to leave the table pretty swiftly as it smelled so bad. Service - terrible. Waiting staff barely uttered a word. No one asked if meal was ok ( so no chance to offer feedback), no ask if we wanted more drinks or desserts, plates not cleared away. The lady behind the bar was nice enough but totally disinterested when we returned the cold garlic bread. Overall - grim. Just don’t go here. Please.

We were staying at the nearby Heatherton owned Florence Springs Glamping Park (see my review) and decided to phone up on the hop to see if they could fit us in for food on Saturday evening. All tables inside were fully booked, but there was plenty of tables in the large front garden which can’t be booked and are on a first come first served basis, some with umbrellas and some under a large marquee that had a TV where some people were watching the football. It was a lovely atmosphere and family friendly. The menu was the usual pub fayre and it was table service only due to Covid regulations. We didn’t have to wait long for our food and the waitresses were very attentive. Food was hot and tasty, the chips were lovely in particular, and the lager nice and cold at £3.20 a pint. We had a taxi back using Gabs Cabs - good rate and efficient. Would return.

We booked this hotel as we were visiting Tenby for a few days. The location is great for visiting all areas around Tenby. However, we were very disappointed on arrival, it was clear to see we had been Mis-sold. The rooms are nothing like they are portrayed on the website, and the pub is very run down and needs updating a lot! I think they need to look at their prices and consider charging a lot less because the standards do not match the prices. Upon reflection I would not recommend staying here. It’s such a shame because it has a lot of potential to be a great pub and place to stay!

I don't often write a bad review but we had a really poor experience at the Parsonage Farm Inn this evening. This was our third visit having had good experiences on both previous occasions when holidaying in the area. Maybe it's changed hands?Initially, service was good, menu's brought quickly and drinks order taken. But sadly it went downhill from there. It was absolutely ages before our food order was taken and even longer before we actually saw any food. There were two other large groups in the restaurant and both had already finished their meals so we really couldn't understand why everything took so long. When the food eventually arrived it was pretty average and the battered fish and onon rings were both very soggy. I think the chips were probably the best part of everyone's meal. Had we ever been asked we'd probably have fed this back but noone was interested in clearing the table or offering dessert and after waiting for absolutely ages we concluded that all waiting staff must have gone off duty and decided that we'd better go to the bar to pay the bill. We did express disappointment with our experience but this was shrugged off as not being the barmaids problem as she'd been 'full on all evening'.Sadly this will no longer be on our list of places to eat when we visit the area.

Well what to say. We dined here on a Friday night and sat in the pub area , which was quite pleasant. We ordered whitebait , which was delivered fairly quickly and was reasonable. This is when it all went down hill. We waited the best part of an hour for our main only to watch a family of four ( who came in after us) receive theirs! When it did arrive it was a shoddy affair. My steak pie had obviously been hastily microwaved and wasflat as a pancake and my husbands lamb steak was poor and uninspiring . The only good thing was after we had complained we had two free glasses of wine each. The staff did try and were polite but were far and few between and the kitchen staff were either run off there feet or not trained sufficiently . Won’t be going back.

After being recommended to visit st Florence we were very disappointed with the whole experience at this restaurant. At the bar the lady failed to raise her head and make eye contact when we made the request regarding eating there this evening and carried on making notes. My glass was dirty with lipstick stains all around the rim on returning this was greeted with" oh gosh" there was bad language in the food ordering area which went unchallenged even though there were families eating in close proximity. Service was timely and presentation looked good however the burger was uncooked and had to be returned - more " oh gosh" my partner continued eating alone whilst I waited for a fresh food. There was no customer service in terms of keeping us informed and when questioned the bar person started to discuss temperatures etc of food being cooked. There was no offer of a drink in the meantime even though we were drinking soft drinks - my partner finished his food before mine came out. The burger was cooked well done and very dry and disappointing and difficult to digest. I will not recommend this venue and will not be returning.

Visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch. Main course was great with lots of different sides, served hot and plenty of it. Dessert was a bit pricey; was ok but was a little bland. The biggest issue really was the speed of service. Our order was taken very promptly and the main course didn't take long, but there was a long time between main course and dessert. The service wasn't the most attentive, and we struggled to get the attention of our server. That said, the location was great for us staying the the nearby Florence Springs, and it wasn't too busy. Really nice atmosphere and feel. Staff friendly and made you feel welcome, all food was home cooked and beautiful. Lamb chops were exeptional and the burgers were amazing.

Short walk from our holiday cottage we went here for dinner. We had our grandson with us. If you are eating with children you seem to be seated in a family area away from those diners without accompanying children. Pub grub menu which had usual dishes. We ordered fish and chips and chicken nuggets for our grandson. Nothing here to make this venue stand out.

Stayed here for a week with my friend and our four children and had an amazing time. The we stayed in an apartment next to the pub which was lovely. The inn itself is beautiful with a lovely beer garden. It is 5 mins from Tenby and other attractions. The food was amazing we didn't want to eat anywhere else as it couldn't compete. The manager his staff and the locals are all great. We made some good friends and will definitely be going back.

We have been here before last year and our lunch was delicious, however this time was a totally different experience. We had to ask for the vegetables that should come with the meal. My beef was disgusting very fatty and full of gristle. on the positive you get a good selection of vegetables with your Sunday lunch and the Yorkshire was nice. What ever has happened to this place from last year to this needs to be addressed.

Visited whilst on holiday. The pub has a decent beer garden and I enjoyed sitting outside with a decent pint. The beer was good but no local ales. Food was fine and reasonably priced. Would use again.

We went for the healthy option of a crispy jacket potatoes with house salad. Unfortunately the jackets were ok but definitely not crispy. Lovely young lady serve us was excellent.

Looked a lovely but slightly pricey pub so we had high expectations. Not one of us enjoyed our meal for one reason or another........very fatty meat in the steak[?] pie, peas like bullets, stale pastry, dry chips etc etc. The only good part of the meal was a baked potato. When we went to pay we registered our complaints but were told that we should have told our problems to our server when they came to check on us. But no one had ever come to check on us. So we left, still feeling hungry and somewhat upset about the food we had been asked to pay for but were unable to eat. On a positive...although unable to resolve problems without management approval the staff were welcoming and friendly.

The dining area/s looks a little clinical and not quite as relaxed as some alternatives in the area. The food did not disappoint and was well cooked but lacked some seasoning and originality. Service was in order but it was an average dinner experience overall.

Had a meal here, dog friendly and a lovely location with parking. Personally found the price of the food did not suit the quality of the food. However the food was certainly ok just not high standard.

Service was poor tonight as there were only 2 members of staff covering the bar and restaurant. Food was brilliant, enjoyed 3 courses and would go back again if I was in the area.

Terribly disappointed with our visit. They do not offer a vegetarian option for children. When I asked the bald barman what they could could offer, he joked that they did chips and a chip burger. I asked what meals they do and he said chips and salad and found this very funny. After I asked him again what meals they do, he realised he wasn't that funny and said that they don't get asked this very often and walked off. There were 9 of us having a meal and had to wait over an hour for the food to turn up after ordering. I ordered the cod and chips which didn't taste of anything. It had no flavour whatsoever. I asked my wife to taste in case it was me, but she confirmed that. They brought our food out for the nine of us over a ten minute period so a few people were nearly finished before others had their food. They forgot to bring peas with the meals. It took five minutes for them to bring sauces. They charged us £3.60 for a blackcurrant and soda which they realised afterwards were supposed to be one pound something. They gave us onion rings that were mush. There was no crisp to them at all. On the positive side, they admitted their service and standard of food was horrendous and they took £20 off the bill. When I lived in the area I used to visit here regularly but it is not a nice place now with poor service and a meagre menu. I certainly would not recommend.

I've never felt the need to write a review, as quite simply, if it's good we'll return if it's bad we won't! However, as we are regular visitors to St Davids to see family, this time, I've had to make an exception. We always like to visit St Davids Cathedral & stop at The Refectory for lunch.. What's gone wrong ? Not much choice as it's a very limited menu. Doesn't seem to be a manager or anyone in charge, it's more like lads on a night out. Bad language, dirty uniforms & very unorganised (putting it politely). We've always enjoyed visiting in the past but this experience makes us not want to come back again. After talking with family about our disappointing visit, we discovered there has been a change in management & staff. Standards have declined, the level of customer service, personal hygiene and food quality are extremely below standard. It's such a shame as previous visits have always been positive even during busy times.

Absolutely amazing food. Excellent service. Nothing is too much trouble. Staff are friendly, chatty & helpful, and it’s clean. Definitely recommend the coronation chicken, cheese salad. Hubby had baked spud first time which he enjoyed & baguette 2nd time each he enjoyed. And the cakes WOW!! I will miss the carrot cake which I highly recommend & the custard slice is just as amazing. The cost is brilliant too. Thanks you Phillys Baguettes

Ordered two crab sandwiches latte and a beer, £35. Staff need a pick me up or it’s been a hard season. The crab sandwich was good, spoonful of coleslaw, frozen chips. Was told to help myself to a glass for the beer, everyone looked not properly washed, picked the cleanest but still had bubbles down inside indicating grease. Latte was tasteless. Not a pleasant experience won’t be back.
