Best chinese takeaway we've had in a long time. Food was fantastic and great value for money. No delivery and not on just eat, but we'll worth the journey.

Second visit, loved the food cooked to perfection. Great service from the staff behind counter 5 stars. If you like chinesse food your love this takeaway.

Seriously deserving of its high reviews. Pretty decent value for money, each box was practically bulging from the contents, so portioning is great. Tasted immaculate too. Will definitely reccomend and go there again.

After trying all of the local Chinese takeaways local to me, I decided to make the short drive to Rainham to try Parkwood. By far the best Chinese I have had in a long time. All of the food was freshly cooked to order. It was not greasy. There was great flavour and the portion sizes were very generous. We had the duck in plum sauce, which was unreal. The salt and chilli chips, chicken balls, chow mein, and curry/sweet & sour sauces were perfect. The meal was reasonably priced and definitely worth what we paid. The lady at the front counter was very nice and talked to us, she was shocked when we told her we drove 20 minutes to pick it up. Will definitely order from here next time, 10/10 service al round.

The May Bank Holiday was a washout but the highlight for us was the fantastic chinese meal from the Parkwood Chinese takeaway. The quality, flavour and tenderness of the beef in my Beef in blackbean sauce was fantastic. We can thoroughly recommend the tender satay chicken skewers and the sweet and sour chicken balls are the best we've ever eaten. We'll be having those moist, succulent pieces of chicken in a thin crispy batter again, not the soggy and doughy dish that I've experienced from other Chinese takeaways. The whole meal was fantastic and the service and friendly atmosphere is great. We've been using this Chinese takeaway restaurant for years and never had a bad meal. Tried Parkwood Chinese as an alternative to our usual last night, and it was delicious. Collection was ready within 15 mins which is great, the shop itself is super clean, all staff really friendly. Food is absolutely delicious, really generous portions (special fried rice packed full of big pieces of chicken and pork and shrimp, other takeaways tend to be a bit stingier on this!) Food was piping hot by the time we’d got home and served up. Really really impressed, would recommend and use again.

Short wait for food which is to be expected as I'd only just got there and hadn't pre-ordered. Value for money.

I have been using this takeaway for a long time, went in yesterday to order a curry and was told that it no longer excepts cards it’s now cash only ! As I hardly carry cash anymore I told the lady to cancel my order. I will be going elsewhere from now on .

Best Chinese, won't use anywhere else, nice people, great hot freshly cooked food every time.... if they delivered would be 110% rating.

Made a telephone order to pick up, told 15mins. Got to the takeaway and had to wait a further half an hour because she hadn't actually made the order. Eventually I got the order and went home to find one of what we ordered was wrong. The receptionist obviously can't work under a bit of pressure, get it right it's not hard. PAY ATTENTION !!!!!

Been using parkwood Chinese for about 8 months now and I’ve never been disappointed the food is great and it’s always very busy which is a good sign , I’ve recommended this place to about 5 other people now which all use it regularly now like me and they all love it one of my friends drives 15 miles to pick up there Chinese its that good keep it up parkwood your doing great

I dont often write reviews and have never written a 2nd or follow up review - But wow we love this place. I travel from West Malling to get our takeaway from Parkwood and well worth the hour round trip - I just make sure I order enough for a microwave meal the following day. Reason I writing this review today is that following a lovely meal from here 10 days ago we are looking to cater for a family event this weekend and I am going to be located in the opposite direction before collection so was looking for an alternative in the Tonbridge Wells area - Can't risk the dissapointment so will travel an hour to pick up and half hour to get home - It really is that good in our opinion - Guess delivery is out of the question!

Popped in here last night with my wife and daughter. We have used high mings for the last 5 years until it closed and haven’t found anywhere decent since until coming here. The food was lovely and fresh, well cooked and not greasy. I would say this Chinese is even better than the previous. We are looking forward to coming back.

If you want a delicious Chinese meal to take home then this is the place to go. Have been using this Chinese for years and never had a bad meal. The king prawn in black bean is one of my favourite dishes and is the best I've eaten anywhere. All of the dishes we have tried are made with top quality, fresh ingredients. This Chinese takeaway is always very busy, which is a testiment to itself. I would not go anywhere else.

First time using parkwood Chinese, after reading the other reviews I decided to give it a go, from phoning the order through to collecting took only 15 mins, had a lovely chat with lady behind the counter who told me they were just finishing my chips as they half cook them and then complete them when the customer arrives so the chips don’t go soggy. Now let’s get to the food…. The aromatic duck was insanely good shredded perfectly, the chicken balls were amazing, everything down to the rice and chips in bbq sauce was incredible, gutted that I’ve lived down the road 9 years and never been here, I will return…

We decided to give this place a try after using another one locally for many years. They had a few slight different dishes that looked enticing like the shredded pork. The service and food was outstanding and it was worth us trying it out. We will be using this place as our go to for Chinese takeaway. Superb food.

Great Chinese. They had salt and pepper pork belly, which I’ve never seen before. They were okay, partner enjoyed them more. Everything else was really good too! Would come back again if in the area.

At long last we have found a great Chinese takeaway - thanks to the reviews on here. Travelled from West Malling to Rainham - 30 min each way but well worth it. Average prices - good portions - good meat content and quality and really enjoyable Chinese. Had a good range of dishes for our £80 (gcse treat for daughter and some friends) and all were good. Definitely a new favourite and sure to return.

I've been here twice now, in the space of say 6-12 months as I live in Rochester, but the food is amazing everytime! Beats all the other Chinese restaurants near me, well worth the 15 minute drove each way.

I ordered 1/4 duck with pancakes. It was amazing freshly cooked. Portion of king prawn balls. Im new customer won't go anywhere else this is my favourite Chinese. The lady on phone very friendly and considerate, she doesn't hurry you like other places do. Credit to your staff.

Ordered over the phone and went to pick up like I usually do. There were people waiting when I got there but as my order was done over the phone I didn't have to wait long. However, on getting home, I noticed that my order was not complete which has never happened before. It also made me realise that as receipt are not given, there was no way of verifying and I did not want to make the round trip back. Other than that. The food is tasty and the service is good. I have had takeaway from here and also when she ran the takeaway on sheeppey, her food is and always has been 1st class, I think it extremely bad that people write a completely false and untrue review just to get a free meal, this takeaway is probably the best Chinese takeaway in Kent, and I find it extremely upsetting that this person has done this, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this takeaway to anyone who wants a 1st class takeaway for both the food and taste

I travel to use this amazing takeaway as it is by far the best Chinese food Ever. The portion size is generous. Ribs are tender and delicious 😋 chow mein is perfect with the right amount of seasoning. Chicken curry is out of this world with big chunks of fresh chicken! The staff are very polite and friendly. The shop is always immaculately clean. It's the go to place to go if you want good service cleanliness and outstanding delicious freshly prepared food! My favourite!

Yet again, another fantastic meal from Parkwood. We travel from sheppey to this takeaway, it’s the best Chinese by far. The prawn toast is the best we’ve tasted, they are full of flavour and lovely thick layer of prawn and toasted just right. The pancake rolls are the best, full of filling, lovely and crispy and again full of flavour. The Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken is delicious, juicy big chunks of chicken and a thin light batter just the best. Great portion sizes and everything just has bags of flavour which is why we just keep coming back for more. Lovely friendly service and never too much trouble to adjust spices to taste. An absolute must if you want the best Chinese food.

We ordered from parkwood Chinese on New Year’s Eve. It was busy but didn’t take anything away from experience. The food, portions and service was really good. Best Chinese we have had for a long time. Would highly recommend this takeaway and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This is a gem of a takeaway! I travel from the other side of Faversham since I discovered this one, yes it may be a 24 mile round trip, but simply I cannot get the same quality of both food and service anywhere near this standard or quality nearer to home, so for me, this is a real positive. I am normally skeptical of so many 5 star reviews (well apart from those of my own business) but these are very well deserved. As I have to travel so far, they always add a little extra insulation to our meals to help keep it hot. Since I went there the first time, I just wish I had discovered it sooner. Please try the Chicken Satay, it's simply wonderful. Well done and thank you so much!!

Consistently good food, quick service and decent portion size

Our favourite Chinese! Food is honestly amazing and the staff are so so so friendly. Prices and portion sizes are really good too, we always get a few dishes to share and there's always enough for lunch the next day! We have tried quite a few items on the menu and each one is fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

Another excellent meal again from P.C.T. as is usual from this top takeaway. The mixed chilli and salt combo is fabulous and is excellent value. One word of warning though. If you haven't tried this Chinese yet and decide to give it a go. You won't be going back to your old chinese because you'll be forever disappinted with anything from anywhare else.

You dont get so many 5* reviews without good reasons. I've tried most of the chinese t/a from Chatham to Sittingbourne and none are even close as good as this one. The portions are good but even more important is the superb quality, always freash and tasty. For an exemple. The simple pancake roll is the best I have ever had. No grease or oil, crispy and dry outside, moist and crunchy inside and you don't even have to wipe your hands afterwards Superb. Keep up the excellent work. Thank You.

We preordered our very large order on 11th May for 8pm, it was ready on time and was pipping hot. The food was very tasty, and the portions were large. There were no missing items on the order, and the lady was polite and even threw in a few extras. Will definitely return.

New to the area and decided to try this, the food was absolutely beautiful and the kind lady serving was wonderful to talk to while we waited for our food. We will certainly be visiting here again. I can't rate them highly enough. We had SFR, crispy shredded beef, sweet and sour chicken and HK style and S&S chicken ball - I highly recommend trying these.

Fantastic food and really polite service, would definitely recommend! Travelled all the way from Maidstone especially for their food and thought it was really good that it was all wrapped in tin foil to keep hot. Will definitely be ordering again! Very good fresh food and large portions, I expect something smaller but, duck chow main, prawn noodle, wings and chicken skwers this is for 2 or 3 people portion. Thank you food was lovely. I live in Burton on Trent due to temporary work in Rainham I try to find take way not far from PremierInn hotel I can highly reccomend this one.
