Lovely little café and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone. They are also a small restaurant at night time and from reading whats on the menu I can almost definitely say it would be top quality.

Where's the outdoor area in the photo? Well I never! Is there a car park I never knew about either? This cafe has been here since as far back as I can remember. It was a well known greasy spoon. The Pit Stop. Aptly named from the days Blackpool Road was used by many a lorry driver as a pit stop,but back then they were allowed to stop outside,which made it easy for them because the road layout was totally different back then. There is the car park on the park across which is doubled for the park and nearby area. If you're disabled though like me and can't walk far,not the place for you. It's been done up nice inside. A make over I guess you call it. Nice and clean,although where the toilet is situated is not ideal,right next to tables either side. You can put a divider up ,but as a toilet door opens,the smells waft out. I winced everytime it opened lol. Nice staff and good service. A bit noisy(wasn't busy) for me with the trades lads though. I actually felt sorry for them trying to eat their breakfasts while they had one call or text after another, but it did make me think whatever business they were in must be a great one! All in all it looks good,the food is good and the staff are efficient.

The full English and Eggs Royale are both superb, as is the coffee. The team are great and to top it all off, they always have a 2000-2010 indie playlist on the go! 👌🏻

Fantastic gem, so happy we found this place. Ate here this evening choosing from the Bistro menu. Superb food in flavour and presentation. Couldn't fault a thing. Attentive and friendly service. Can't wait to return

I am unable to provide a favourable review but assume the cafe is doing well if they're confident enough to turn customers away in a curt manner. The sign on the door clearly stated that they are open from 9am until 9pm on the day we visited at 2.50 pm (Friday) but the waitress made us feel like we had been foolish to try and look at the menu and even said that they don't serve after 3pm. We preferred to walk out than let her know the correct time, but, it would have been even earlier if they had spoken to us when we arrived. We won't be back for a second first impression. Update to review following reply. The times of last orders are not mentioned on the door nor on the Menu. The table was laid out with menus and cutlery, which to an unknowing customer appears inviting. If drinks were available between 3-5 then why were we not asked if we would like drinks? However, kitchen preparation times and staff breaks are not a responsibility of your customers making that an irrelevant comment. Friendly, courteous and well trained staff would have been able to inform us, without talking to us like we had done something wrong. Therefore I believe that under these circumstances, my rating was very fair and accurate. A short update to additional reply I am glad that you agree that we were in before 3pm and that all of your advertising on social media, the door and menus stated being open until 9pm. Last Orders are not mentioned anywhere and since we were there more than six hours before your advertised closing time and we were not given any option other than to leave, it seems irrelevent to argue about minutes. If you are happy with how polite that your staff dealt with us then that is your perogative but we were not. It is understable that staff look forward to and need breaks but it is not the customers fault or responsibility to manage your staffing.

we had full english. expensive for what we got. and it wasnt exactly hot. but the lady who served us was lovely.

Had lunch here after a walk around Haslam Park. Fabulous staff, good food and very well presented cafe. Would highly recommend.

Tried the new evening menu. Lamb shank was fantastic, melted of the bone 😋. Super friendly staff and quick service. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. See you soon!!

Great cafe, with lovely coffee and food, Caesar salad and paninis very good. Great outdoor seating area can enjoy in rain under pergola or in the sunshine. Fully recommend

Stopped by here this morning after riding through Haslam Park, food and service was good with pleasant staff. Will be sure to visit again at some point.

Absolutely lovely food and service but think it's a little expensive, myself and my bf had breakfast here a few times and for two people for a Full English cost £28.00 pound.

Was told could have a breakfast but wasn’t allowed to take it out. What is that about? Won’t be going back to this place in a hurry not allowed bottle drinks out the fridge only cans do not understand will not be going back again

Just popped over to this cafe for the first time after taking our granddaughter to Haslam Park in Preston. Excellent food and lovely staff, we had a cream tea, we will be back, the burgers look amazing!!

Great place to pop in after a walk with the dog on the park. Ready to eat a harty breakfast after a good walk which I would definitely recommend as it was all delicious

terrible breakfast! the sausages were burnt, and cheap horrid thin stuff, bacon was fatty, too much butter on the toast, the service was terrible would it kill the servers to smile?? place is a joke will not be returning £50 for 4 small breakfast and 4 latte

Went to try this place for the first time looking for a nice breakfast. The cafe itself is nice with quite a cosy look, it looks a place of quality, however, the menu is of a much higher cost than normal. For the cost of the breakfast at £10.45, I was expecting good quality. It was very dissapointing, they used the cheapest tasting beans, the cheapest thinnest sausage which was overcooked that had a cardboard taste, the toast was not toasted and soaking in butter. Mushrooms were dripping in grease and had a very strange taste. Bacon was soaked in grease with a tiny half of tomatoe. At £10.45 you would expect coffee to be included in the price but it was charged at an additional £3.50. The coffee was nice but was not worth Starbucks prices. Overall, for 4 of us ordering 4 full English breakfasts and 4 coffee's came to a shocking £55.80 for such low quality. In future we will go elsewhere where the food is much better value for money.

Top place to visit for quality♤

Today was the 3rd time I’ve been here, this time travelling from Wigan for some scrambled egg on toast… the best I’ve ever tasted. Would highly recommend and will always come back. Thank you

First time here and definitely won’t be the last. Fantastic full English breakfast plenty on the plate so good value for the price, we were very full afterwards. Nicely cooked and very tasty. Lovely coffee too. Great that we could bring our dog in before our walk around the park across the road. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Live locally, use regularly and this place is just 5 stars in every respect and pretty much flawless....Some say a little more expensive than average but my god what you get is quality ... Also dog friendly, whats not to like! Highly recommended. John n Bonnie ..

Really nice cafe with a great interior and atmosphere. Only stopped for a coffee whilst my car was in the garage so can't comment on the food. Staff are very friendly and hospitable.

I’ve been a few times but this last visit was bang on and definitely worth leaving a review. Ordered the full breakfast with scrambled egg, flat white and an apple juice. Food/drinks were perfect in quantity and quality, service was rapid and friendly. Will be going regularly 👌🏽

I wasn't expecting to find a craft beer bar under the Blackpool Road railway bridge yet here we are. Friendly, chatty, affordable; a truly great addition to Lane Ends.

We had small breakfast everything was delicious and hot the cafe is very nicely decorated and staff nice and friendly

What a find 😍 lovely clean, welcoming cafe, opposite Haslem Park on the bridge. Food very good quality, fairly priced, and great service. Clean dogs allowed in, so best go before you go the park with your pooch. Will definitely visit again.

Found this place after visiting Preston it's on the outskirts,tried the full breakfasts wife had vegi one ,both were very good and the cafe is dog friendly,also a nice park just outside for you and the dogs to walk after ,

Well I went with high expectations. But was disappointed. I didn't stay So we wanted to sit outside as boiling. Apparently if you sit outside its only a limited menu ? You can't have full menu and it's in a take away box ? Can't have a plate. Both me and my fella wanted something from full menu. So didn't stay. Don't see why you would send business away all for having a plate. This was before 12. Yes I can understand the point later on in the day....eve possible when people had a drink but not before 12. I'm really disappointed as had high hopes

Absolutely disgusting food was stone cold and disgusting they took my food brought me a new one and my egg was all slimey and undercooked when I made a point of saying make sure my eggs are NOT SLIMEY, wouldn’t even feed my dogs there food

Celebrated a friends 50th there one evening as an event just for friends and family. Great little venue friendly service.

Came with friends booked table for 4 , two mixed grills for the men folk , and small plates for us ladies , the food was lovely especially the mushrooms and sliders they were my favourite, nice atmosphere definitely recommend and so local ,thank you for a lovely evening x
