Very disappointing that my food arrived barly warm and chips undercooked and very small quantity

Food was excellent and delivery driver was very good too.

This was my first order from this fish shop. I was not keen on the batter used,however I did eat everything but I won’t be ordering from there again.

The food was delicious. Freshly cooked fish, and hot food delivered. Highly recommend

it was on time it's was hot , the sausage was well done , the fish I ordered a large cod , if that was a large I'd hate to think how big the small fish is , it was narrow not mush flesh on it and the batter was just flat looked like it was cooked too long or it had been recooked it wasn't the best fish I've had , won't be ordering again not after it cost £9 just for the fish

Absolutely recommended. Portions sizes are great. If you're local and stop in regularly you'll be remembered. I'm far too picky when it comes to fried food; recommendation based purely on the fact the chips aren't overly greasy, nor is any other item I've ordered.

Over an hour longer than originally given and had to go searching for the driver who was in the wrong place. Food nice, fish a little small but delivery made me late for work.

Just ordered 2 fish n chips lunches. Both went in bin. Like they were cooked in 2 year old fat. Batter was burnt, chipped were hard like leather chunks. And sausage, can't describe that. Utter garbage. The bit of the meal I ate has left a oily fatty taste in my gob. How that for a recommendation.

Got a burger meal and a COD special, the prices were super cheap yet the portion sizes do not suggest this, the food was delicious cooked fresh and were always faced with such polite and friendly customer service 10/10 would recommend omend!

Spent £21.00 and both meals were disgusting infact unedible there was a slither of fish and 90% thick soggy batter .. sausage overcooked and chips were undercooked.. won't be in a rush to order again.

Unfortunatly the last time I had food from here it all tipped out into the carrier bag due to the food being packed on its side when we asked for a refund for the food the person said no because we asked for sauce sides we didn't ask for the sauces in pots .... so ask for sauces in pots but the chippy food is beaut the service is usually good and on point just the odd occasion stuff goes wrong with how the food is packed if beans gravy or curry or peas are on your meal ask for separate pots

worst fish and chips I've ever had. batter like sponge cake a sausage that tasted of the fish. the nicest thing was the mushy peas. had to bin the meal. and I would hate to see the small fish as the normal special size was the size of a goldfish

First time ordering everything was really greasy and batter was soggy. Chips was near enough burnt most not even edible. Won’t order again

food quality was fine but the order took over 2 hours to arrive as no driver was allocated by justeat. all that was being done was the delivery time kept getting later and later. very unhappy with this idea of a delivery time

Not bad. Large chips not as large as I expected, but nice. Curry sauce a bit runny, apart from that, a decent feed. Driver struggled to find us but food was still hot when delivered so no fuss.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. The order was missing items and all the OWNER had to say was “it’s not my fault”. We asked if he could resend the order as we had missing items and all of the food we had received what clock cold. Absolutely shocking. Wont order from here again

Asked for bag chips came in a tray u only get half Tray Every other chippy does in a bag n u literally get a bag full

The chips seemed like they were old and stale the portions are small I ordered a large chips and the container was only half full I ordered 3 portions of fish bites and got 4 fish bites as apparently 1 portion of fish bites is actually only 1 fish bite won’t be ordering again.

This is the second time we ordered, the first time was good. However, not this time. The sausages and chips looked and tasted as though they had been cooked the day before and tasted burnt. Won't be ordering again.

Parkgate Fisheries were recommended to me by a friend, and they have not disappointed. The food arrived piping hot by a very nice and friendly delivery man, and the food was absolutely gorgeous, I will definitely be ordering again 😊

We usually enjoy our meal from here but today fish didnt taste very nice and had a distinctive smell like bleach.

Over £40 order and some of my order didn’t arrive , phoned the takeaway and because it’s not their driver and a just eats driver they could not send my missing items so my kids didn’t have their meal

The chips are lovely but anything else needs to be drained properly the battered burger&scraps were swimming grease also the sausage was over cooked,the batter on it was rock hard and how much u charge for small breadcakes is not right.also why don't u do scallop fish cakes which is sliced potato with fish in middle coated in batter.

I went yesterday 15aug 2022 lunch time. Ordered cod and chips I was waiting for my food while the guy was preparing other customer food. While putting the fish in the box it fell on the floor and he picked it up and packed it for the customer. I told him that I saw it and he started getting aggressive. I asked for refund which after arguing with him for 5minutes he gave it back very rude and dirty place to be getting food. I’m surprised Rotherham council don’t visit often to places likes these for hygiene. Never again I’m going to that place again. Please avoid and if you go always make sure you stand there while they prepare your food.

Was very happy with the food hot tasty and delivered on time only down side to this order was i ordered beef and onion pie but they sent chicken and mushroom whi h i dont like never had any trouble with this place will still order thanks
