A continuación, un resumen de mis interacciones con Park Grand Lancaster Gate El 5 de febrero envié un correo electrónico para ver si la reserva para el té de la tarde para un grupo grande se podría facilitar en Park Grand Lancaster Gate. El hotel envió un correo electrónico rápidamente y confirmó la disponibilidad. Me pidieron que llamara para pagar un depósito y cada vez que llamaba, el teléfono sonaba sin que nadie respondiera. Finalmente logré hablar con alguien en recepción que dijo que la reserva se debe hacer por correo electrónico. Envié un correo electrónico de nuevo, y me dijeron que llamara. De nuevo, nadie contestó la llamada. Finalmente logré pagar un depósito de más de 350 libras. El hotel no me envió un recibo del pago, a pesar de que pedí uno por teléfono, y dando mi dirección de correo electrónico. Luego tuve que enviar un correo electrónico dos veces, para obtener un recibo de la reserva. El recibo no tenía factura ni número de reserva. No tenía mi nombre. No especificó para qué era la reserva. No especificó cuándo fue la reserva. Y no indicaba para cuántas personas era la reserva. Este "recibo" fue seguido casi inmediatamente con un correo electrónico que decía que la reserva no se podía facilitar en Park Grand Lancaster Gate, y que la reserva se trasladó al bar del Park Grand Paddington Court Hotel. Me pidieron que informara al hotel si queríamos proceder con la reserva o cancelar y obtener un reembolso. Envié un correo electrónico para ver dónde estaba la nueva ubicación, en relación con Park Grand Lancaster Gate, y el teléfono sonó. Volví a llamar, sonó el teléfono. Luego llegué a la recepción, y me pidieron que proporcionara detalles de la reserva que estaba preguntando. La recepcionista dijo que encontró la reserva, luego preguntó si era para 2 personas. Cuando dije que era para 18 personas, ella dijo que trataría de encontrarlo en el sistema, y luego colgó el teléfono. En última instancia, tomó más de un mes para obtener este reembolso. La mayoría de las veces que llamé, el teléfono sonó. A veces, iba al buzón de voz, pero el buzón de voz estaba lleno. Cuando marqué a reservas, me dijeron que cancelara la reserva en línea, lo que no pude hacer porque el recibo que me dieron no tenía un número de reserva / referencia. Hablé con alguien que no encontraba la reserva, me dejó en espera durante 20 minutos mientras se iba “a buscar un gerente” y luego regresó y colgó el teléfono. Esto sucedió repetidamente. En otra ocasión hablé con alguien que me pidió que dejara mi número y dijo que el gerente se comunicaría conmigo más tarde ese mismo día, esa llamada no fue devuelta. Tomó más de un mes llamar y enviar correos electrónicos la mayoría de los días para recuperar este dinero. La mayoría del personal con el que hablé fue grosero, y dio información que fue contradicha por otro personal en llamadas de seguimiento / correos electrónicos. Me dejaron en espera hasta 45 minutos a la vez y me colgaron. Todos los correos electrónicos no fueron reconocidos. Me pidieron que llamara a horas específicas para hablar con los gerentes, y me dijeron que los gerentes me llamarían, pero nunca lo hicieron. El servicio de atención al cliente fue absolutamente vergonzoso, y no recomendaría hacer ninguna reserva con este hotel, a menos que tenga horas para lidiar con la incompetencia del personal.

We used an afternoon tea ‘buy a gift’ voucher only to find out later that Wowcher had an afternoon tea voucher at this hotel for half the price. So annoying. We booked for our anniversary on the basis of good reviews.. They have an odd booking system at this hotel, you had to complete a form. Having done all that in advance turned out they had no record of our booking when we arrived. The receptionist was offhand and matter of fact, no apologies forthcoming even after we showed them the confirmation email. Afternoon tea was average, sandwiches were very ordinary, cheese, egg, tuna and chicken. The little scones were lovely though and the chocolate pot was delightful. Service was sketchy and waiters inattentive. They forgot to bring my glass of Prosecco so I didn’t get that at all and they didn’t offer me any tea at all, I had to ask for it. In a nutshell, if you use the Wowcher then it’s good value but for us we e had much better elsewhere.

My friend and I had been treated to Chocolate Afternoon Tea as a gift. And what a treat it was! Ignatius was our waiter and was brilliant, so attentive, ready to answer our questions and supply more tea. The food was lovely. Choclate petit fours etc.- fantastic! all the staff were so friendly!

Was an enjoyable afternoon. Unlike most afternoon teas this one was very enjoyable with cakes and sandwiches I liked. Nice surroundings. Very helpful waiter.

Lovely afternoon tea with great service. Food was fresh and Steve provided excellent service explain what was being served. He also explained that they also offer an Indian afternoon tea. Would use again, recommended!

What a sad little space - converted broom cupboard that possibly only Harry Potter could get excited over. TV's and hairdryer non operational and the bathroom was a joke. Quite possibly the worse value in London - a town famous for rip off hoteliers - quite the achievement. Don't stay here my advice.

We turned up for a pre-booked afternoon tea for a 30th birthday celebration. Upon arrival we were asked to wait 5 minutes while staff clearly panicked to put together an excuse as to why they had lost our booking. We were given the excuse that 'the system glitched, we can see your booking but we didn't tell the restaurant staff'. However, we were told sit tight while our table was being made. An hour and fifteen minutes later they admitted the kitchen staff had gone home, no apology, no offer of any food for my 6 year old who patiently sat with us. Vincy suggested we come back in the morning for breakfast instead, knowing we travelled from Wales for this booking for a birthday that is today. Claiming to be manager but conveniently having no authority to rectify his systems/staffs mistakes. Awaiting for a response from higher management regarding their 'system glitch' to account for their misscommunication, and for the lack of care keeping booked customers (and a child) waiting like idiots for over an hour knowing no food would be served. Appalled.

I went here yesterday because my sister is gluten free and dairy free. The menu on line implied a huge selection of salads and smoothies. We were very disappointed! The location seemed promising too. We also had out of date crisps and it turns out most of them were out of date. We were offered a different pack in exchange. The £7.50 salad was just a mushy mess of old tomatoes and avocado. The coffee wasn’t brilliant either. The banana muffin cake lacked flavour and was dry. So many places hype up their menus but in a place that was so ethical where was the gluten free bread alternative!! Avoid this place. Won’t be back!

The hotel is in a great location. About 1 hour of slow walking from the center through a beautiful park. The rooms were cozy and clean. The maid came every day and cleaned the rooms. I liked the quality of the towels, you don't see that anywhere else. What bothered me was the breakfast. They say that in England they are picky about tea, so don't expect good tea or coffee in this hotel. It's the same for breakfast every day, you have to pay extra for the rest. I have a lactose allergy and so I was pretty screwed. Yogurt, milk with flakes (the cheapest ones), toast with cheese and then only jam and croissant. We didn't even go for it on the last day. I also missed a glass or the possibility of making coffee/tea in the room. I recommend the hotel, but without breakfast.

I HAVE BEEN USING THE R.A. GRAND CAFE FOR A LONG TIME AND HAVE TO SAY THAT EVERYTIME A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE HAS ENSUED. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FAULT THE QUALITY OF FOOD, SERVICE AND SPACEOUS SURROUNDINGS WITH SOME NOSTALGIA THROWN IN....A BETTER TIME COULD NOT BE HAD EVEN IN FORTNUM AND MASONS...!
