Just about everything on the menu was "off" and the chap serving was surly and rude. Made Fawlty Towers look positively welcoming. Don't touch the place with a barge pole.

There were 8 of us and I suggested it for a quick stop (it was my birthday!!). It used to be an excellent place and I was very embarrassed at taking people here. I was charged just under £50 for inedible rubbish. It took over 2 hours to get the food and drinks out. The only decent thing was the chips and 2 of the paninis. A raspberry muffin was so stale it was inedible, the girl microwaved the flatbreads that should have gone with my salad so they were rock hard etc etc. Two of the hot drinks took nearly 1.5 hours to come out. The girl was on her own and couldn't cope. She could only offer a very limited choice of what was shown on the menu. She should have said drinks only. I don't think she had had any training. I would like someone to contact me from there but I don't expect I'd ever get any money back. I have never written a negative review but I was so cross about it I felt I should make a comment. Such a shame because it could be so much better.

toast comes as dry bread. they don't seem to have a toaster. milk shake on window poster is not what you get and it isn't priced. milk shake on menu board inside is a bottle one apparently. staff 's English not good. sandwiches average and not worth £3.50 for a cheese and tomato. they need some competition to improve things which they haven't got. i wonder how they got licence.

This is a lovely setting and a perfect place to stop off on a walk or take friends for a coffee and lunch. The food is OK although the salad, on this occasion, couldn't be revived by the dressing. The girl behind the counter was friendly and welcoming. The other guy behind the counter was absolutely obnoxious, his rudeness was beyond laughable. I can only assume he had a dreadful day or has other issues. For this reason I will not be returning and can only offer the advice 'look for another non customer facing job mate'.

This cafe offers respite for dog walkers. Plenty of choice on menu, peehaps too much. Let down by the confusion of management. When ordering a salad sandwich we were asked what a salad was. Asked also for a cheese and pickle told no pickle would I settle for tomato instead. On production of one sandwich I had to ask where the other one was. Reply was 'Oh do you want another one'. I asked for a cheese and tomato again and got a salad one. Salad consisted of a bit of lettuce and tomato. Also had 2 teas. Tea is free with a sandwich. This confused the young woman who was taking the money and she walked round to view her menu then charged me correct amount. The service was slow and those who ordered were having to check and recheck orders. Orders were mixed up as only appeared to have the ability to make one order at a time and not always correctly. Dog sausages are on offer but again servers only capable of cooking one large pork sausage at a time. This could be a very successful cafe as it offers great choices and shelter. But needs to achieve greater understanding regarding orders.

There's been a refreshment van/kiosk here for years on&off (no thanks to Enfield council who keep putting rates up) Theres usualy a board up beside rd (clay hill)and its just 100yds down lane beside Rose and Crown pub leading to car park and old golf clubhouse Its great for a Sunday morning breakfast out in sun, or just a rest and cupa when walking dog in hilly fields, after exploring whitewebbs park and its halfway round forty hall circular foot path, (either from walled garden or lakes) only draw back its very weather dependent as all seating in open with some sheltering, and it closes to suit the weather!! if your a golfer its on 9th hole of white webbs public golf course Enjoy

This is a proper little outdoor cafe cooking fresh food to order all day from 8am. Outdoor seating with a small weather shelter in a lovely green setting. Very popular with dog walkers. Enjoyed a nicely cooked full English Breakfast with large mugs of tea. A treat.

I visited your establishment and felt the need to contact about just how awful my experience was I waited half an hour for a burger and when it came it was the worst tasting meat I have ever had, it was very low quality that contained lots of hard balls of fat and sinew which caused me to have to spit it out I had complained to staff and they just stared back blankly and offered no resolution I’ve tried using your cafe multiple times where often it would be shut or over half your menu unavailable I am thoroughly disappointed and will not be recommending this to any of my peers

A party of 7 all meeting for lunch. Got shown to table but no mention at this time you have to order food from the bar. 4 of the party have obvious mobility problems so this advice would have been useful. When asked the only 2 bar staff to take food orders we were told do not have a machine to do table service.Come on Ember inns this is the 21st century, I,m sure we still have paper and pen still in operation at other pubs.Bar staff slow with only one staff able to log in to computer. Food on the whole very good. Be prepared to get blocked in the car park after 4pm with people arriving!

Each time we visit Enfield we make sure to visit The King and Tinker. It is a charming pub, full of history, and there has been an ale house there for more than 1000 years. It has real olde world pub charm and a wonderfully cosy feel. My absolute favourite on the menu is the lamb shank - beautifully cooked and extremely reasonably priced. The steak pie is a favourite of my husband's and never disappoints. We were hosted by Toni - a lovely lady with extensive knowledge of the pub trade and with a friendly and warm personality. Definitely try it if you are in the area - you won't be disappointed!
