A stylish Italian restaurant with Italian staff, extremely kind service and 5* food, low prices... oh and spotlessly clean. If we go this way, we will definitely stop by again.

We ALWAYS visit here when we’re travelling up to Bristol from Cardiff as we LOVE it here.. what can I say, the most perfect Italian and so authentic.. we don’t have many authentic Italians in Cardiff so we love going up to Bristol for the weekend and visiting here. The pasta I had last night was the best pasta I have ever tasted!!!! It was fresh authentic pasta, the sauce was Devine!!! (Tortellini in creamy sauce) we’ve already planned another trip up next month so I can have the pasta again! I must also add that the staff here are exceptional, the two young girls on shift yesterday (17/05) were so friendly.. and the manager often walks around serving, chatting to guests and ensuring things are all ok.. he’s fab!! I wish this was on our doorstep in Cardiff!!! Thank you so much for a great meal!

This is best Italian around Bristol, is properly mediterrian and tasty. The service is fantastic and good value of money.

If you’re looking for the authentic Italian restaurant experience, this is for you. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to with brilliant and friendly staff, really enjoyable atmosphere (as in you won’t feel how time flies), exceptional food and lastly really clean space. The food is also served surprisingly quick compared to other places.

The servers were not as attentive as desired but the food was creative well cooked and delicious 😌🍝

A group of us went here for a lunchtime gathering ... The food was excellent ! ... The staff were really friendly and attentive ... The lunchtime food menu was excellent value for money ... Will be going back sometime soon 👍

Food was lovely, but it was a bit of an odd experience. We were a party of 6 and had booked a table for 5.15 one evening. The staff were very abrupt in mentioning that we had to be out by 7.30pm. Now usually that would be plenty of time, but the service was so slow that we had barely finished our main course by 7pm. Of course we wanted desert too, and then there was a weird situation where our bill arrived without us asking (sans deserts) just after our desert orders were taken by a different waitress! The attitude of the staff was not pleasant, felt very pressured to leave and none of the wait was our doing. Disappointed and felt very unwelcome despite the good food. Given some of the others in our party are regulars at this establishment I did ask if this kind of thing had happened before. Sadly rudeness from both the kitchen and the waiting staff is not uncommon.

we had a visitors so was looking for a table who would accommodate my daughter as a vegan. They were happy to do this, which was lovely. I booked based on all the other really good reviews, but to be honest I was disappointed with the overall quality, based on how much we paid. I really wish I had said something to the staff, but as I was taking my parents out and my adult children were visiting, I didn't want to make a fuss or cause embarrassment. My seafood risotto has not 1 mussel in it - even though it says fresh mussels in the description. Calamari, mushrooms and garlic bread starters were OK, but not great. Parents were really disappointed there was no lasagne, which you would have thought would be on the menu for an early Saturday evening. Service was lovely - lovely all round, which is why I felt awkward mentioning lack of seafood in the seafood risotto. to add £17 service charge felt like a sting in the tail. Maybe we just happened to go on an off night, but its very unlikely I will return. An expensive but disappointing night, sorry

I would say the atmosphere is better than the food, the meat and fish options looked better than my veggie one, it was tasty enough, but nothing too special. I and the ravioli.

Food is okay, decent Pizza. Staff are good. Biggest issue is that when ordering the wine (Pinot Grigio) the bottle comes already open with the seal neatly cut, whereas the rule is that it is opened in front of diners. This would suggest that the wine in the bottle is not the same as what's on the label and is filled up out of sight of guests.

Good tasty food and friendly service (we had Spaghetti Bolognese, Rigatoni volcano, Margharita pizza and Calzone). Garlic bread starter was on the small size - 3 small slices.

Use this restaurant as always warmly greeted and the great service always continues during the visit. Food always excellent. Highly recommended.

We have been here a few times with friends and family. We took our grandsons out for an early evening meal. The service was excellent, so friendly & great with the children . The food was beautiful as it always has been. The boys ate everything much to our amazement, they love their nice foid, but the portions wete huge so didn't think they would finish it all up. They loved it abd asked 'can we come here again?'.... Of course. Thank you Paradiso for a fabulous evening. See you soon.

The staff and food never fail to impress me!

If you're going to an Italian restaurant, order an Italian meal. Don't order a chicken nugget and chips child meal, as a small meal, as it was longer to arrive and dry. Our pizza's were tasty, but I couldn't understand why the Fiorentina pizza had a strong flavour of mussels, could that have been the spinach? If you love desserts the limoncello sorbet was a hit, if the chicken nuggets were known about, a double helping of sorbet would have been ordered!

Great place to go to for Italian food when in Nailsea.

Went here after not coming in for several years for my daughters birthday. The place has been refurbished since my last visit and I have to say I was impressed! Service was fast, the menu had plenty of choice but not too much and the food was great! The atmosphere was good inside and the place was busy during the time we were there 7pm to 8:30pm so would definitely recommend booking.

Had not been here for a few years but, in recent months we have visited several times and on each occasion the service and the food has been excellent!

Went here for valentines day with my husband and kids. Nice friendly staff. Busy restaurant but a nice atmosphere with everyone chatting and some music was playing in the background It was OK food,. It was cooked well, just had no special bite to it. A bit bland for me. Not enough herbs and seasoning. I had pasta in a tomato sauce. My son had pizza which looked OK. My husband said he would go back again

Have to say have always rated the food but we had a Marinara & Tropical Pizza & a Napoli Spaghetti takeout last night & so disappointed.. the pizzas were bland, dry & had next to no toppings on & the pasta tasted like the sauce came out of a jar.. after paying £33 would not order again 😡

Went yesterday to celebrate my mum’s 75th birthday, first time and very impressed!! Service was great, food very tasty, lively atmosphere:) Despite being a Monday evening the restaurant was full, so booking is recommended. Definitely will be back:)

Probably one of the most attractive and authentic family run Italian restaurants in the surrounding ten mile radius. Genuine authentic Italian cuisine cooked on the premesis. Original dishes not often seen elsewhere as well as the more traditional. Opening hours are selective - this is not an all-day-every-day venue. Monday - Thursday 11.30 - 14.30 17.00 - 22.00 Friday - Saturday 11.30 - 14.30 17.00 - 22.30 Sunday Closed Well worth a repeat visit......repeated often.

This was our first visit to Paradiso in Nailsea and the special occasion was for my wifes 50th birthday. . We ordered 3 pizzas and a lasagna. We received great service by the servers that looked after us. I am afraid that i didn't get their names. All the food was hot and well presented and we will be back.

Went here recently with family. We had an early booking but lots of tables were filling up. Nice decor recently changed made for a very pleasant evening. There is a; extensive menu and a lunchtime/ early evening special menu which offers£ good value. The prices across the whole menu are very reasonable for what you get. If you go for anything with chilli it won’t be hot hot but you can ask for extra and that can be accommodated. We had a selection of starters, garlic prawns, caprese salad, whitebait and bruschetta. The house wine is fine , and there is a good choice of beer . A couple of pasta dishes and pizzas made for a very tasty main course. Service was efficient and friendly throughout our evening . Well done and thank you.

So left then there was this Saturday stunning starter bit spicy but good x drinks bang on but expensive but fine ! Main 1 x pizza which was fine 1 x special which was not at all tough and full of grizzle so complained straight away to Carlos who then said nothing wrong with it the best beef being sirloin! And left it on the table !!!! No sorry no do you fancy anything else so husband went to pay but not for beef everything else To be told not to come back and we definitely won’t x

Very poor calzone mince meat and cheese. Looks like full but just air. Espresso disgusting taste. For the price they must improve de flavour of the food and change the coffee.

I recommended this restaurant, for my friend and I to dine at, mid-week in late November. I have always had outstanding food and great service when visiting previously. I was so disappointed on this occasion. We arrived and the central heating was not working, the restaurant had some temporary fan heaters, but the one by our table was not working. It would have been nice to be contacted to be advised of the situation before arriving, so I could decide whether to make alternative arrangements. It only got worse from there. My friend ordered a Gin and Tonic (which appeared on the bill as a double, despite being a single). The pizza she ordered was tasteless and when she informed the waitress, there was no apology, just a roll of her eyes and to be told that's how they always make them. Not the best way to empathise with a disappointed customer. I don't believe the owner was in that night, as he is usually very attentive and courteous. But it has damaged my view of this local place and I will not be in a hurry to return, or recommend!

Excellent food, atmosphere and service

Visited with a friend, started the evening by saying they had no heating - it was freezing. We spotted 1 tiny electric heater, no attempt had been made to contact to advise this despite having booked ahead. Waitress came to take our drinks order, she had no knowledge of drinks to enable our questions to be answered, but she did go and try and find out but still didn’t manage to answer the original question. Ordered food with a different miserable waitress. Starter arrived having been offered scampi, to which we said no, dish went back and same one returned and was apparently scallops. scallops were bland and tasteless. Main course arrived, pizza was horrible, overcooked and tasteless. Managed to force down 2 slices, other main course chicken was average but over cooked. At no point did anyone come and see if everything was ok. When they eventually came and cleared the table they asked if we wanted to take the nearly whole pizza home! I said it was awful and tasteless to which we were told it can’t be with a shrug of the shoulders. The pizza was returned to the table in a box. We had to ask for the bill twice and it arrived having been charged for a double spirit when we only had a single. We also asked if there was any reduction due to lack of heating and the awful pizza, the reply was a very rude no. Honestly save you money, truly the worst place I have ever visited for food, service and ambiance.

Beware their lunch menu offer. There's almost nothing on it and they charge full price for most dishes without making it clear they are not included. Felt cheated. Won't go again.

Vastly improved under the new owners and very popular, place was rammed! Decent food and drink options. My son loved his pizza and my partner and I had a tasty if rather small Dover sole off the specials board. They even had pistachio ice cream. What they didn't have was Campari, strange in an Italian restaurant. Price ok, about £100 for three, including wine. Definitely one to return to.

We had visited this restaurant many years ago, before the current owners were running it. I think that the current owners have improved the restaurant considerably. Very friendly staff, great service, food was excellent, we will definitely be returning.

We go to this Italian restaurant quite a lot. The Pizza is lovely thin base crispy and lovely topping a real treat. Prices are ok at lunch time but drinks are expensive especially soft drinks. would certainly recommend a visit.

Lovely atmosphere and decor. Staff were attentive but the food was fairly average overall. Whitebait starter was overcooked and my board special of Monkfish in a creamy sauce was very disappointing. Mushy and tasteless. Vegetables were good though and well cooked. I did quietly tell the waitress who said she would send feedback to the chef but no reaction back. As I said, disappointing and average.

A lovely hidden gem in the heart of Nailsea. I love the atmosphere, and the staff are lovely. The food is amazing, I had an incredible salmon steak meal with prawns and a beautiful creamy sauce.
