It was pretty quiet when we visited but the food was great. There were many dishes that seemed unique and the flavours were great. If I was to be critical of one thing, it would be that the chicken in my meal was more chewy than expected but it did not detract sufficiently to remove a star. Worth a visit for sure.

Very good service, food and atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and the owner was very generous with giving extras for free. The curry was great (recommend the garlic chilli chicken and lemon rice). The bhajis were very large and the peshwari naan was really good in comparison to others in the area. Highly recommend this place. Have been coming here for years and it is good to see the standards are always increasing! Keep up the good work!

I am very fortunate in that I have traveled all around the UK whilst with the military and been to hundreds of Indian Restaurants. It just happens that I settled in Whitchurch and Paprika is by far the best of all of them! Happy days!

Ordered takeaway for 7 as a treat for grandson's 14th birthday. The food was amazing 👏 the service was top notch and my grandson was given a birthday gift by the restaurant 😀 Paprika is definitely my NO 1 place for a special treat. Thank you very much for the wonderful food

The best restaurant I’ve been to in years. The butter chicken was fabulous and tasted like 40x it’s value. The customer service was incredible and they went above and beyond with the experience they delivered. I would most definitely eat here again, if I could rate this restaurant higher I would. As well as this, the atmosphere in the restaurant was delightful and bubbly. Back to the butter chicken, it was the best in all of India, I have no doubt. Would fully recommend

They were super nice and patiently explained different dishes to me. Even offered to make a different dish if i didn't like it. No need though because it was absolutely delicious. One of the best places i've eaten at.

Amazing place! We let the staff know we where in a rush and they were so accommodating, made sure that the food came out quickly. Not only was the food quick but it was so mouthwateringly delicious that my only regret is not being able to stay longer to eat more of it. The owner was a very sweet and gave us a handful each of delicious orange chocolates on our way out. I love orange chocolates!

Excellent food. I had lamb madras, which was expected level of spice and a lovely flavour. The naga was a bit spicier. Everyone with me enjoyed their food. The sides of bhindi bhaji and sag paneer were very tasty. All meat dishes had a good quantity of meat, and all varied with depth of flavours. We were accommodated as a party of 6 on a Saturday evening without booking, despite the place being very busy and clearly popular. I recommend and will definitely go here again.

Delicious authentic Indian Cuisine all the usual favourites plus excellent Chef specials.

We live locally to Paprika so we go there probably once a month. The food is excellent and very consistent, with plenty of choice. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way for you. Very clean restaurant too. Food served beautifully, particularly the Ashyana Lamb which I always have.

Dined in and had take away. We order delivery every week and never have any issue. Gluten free too :) egg fried rice is lovely and always get extras free of charge.

Went to Paprika last night for a special Valentines meal . They really did pull all the stops out to make the place romantic! Lights dimmed Love heart balloons and a glass with a rose on every table . Love hearts lights in the windows . Meal was fantastic All ladies left with a fresh red rose and a yummy covered cupcake . Such a great Indian resturant, have eating in several times and great buzz and atmosphere in there and quite a modern looking Indian resturant. Friendly staff and great food. Can always judge an Indian resturant on poppadom dips and they are great. Would love for them to delivery but collection only.

My first time here and I loved it! I really fancied some vegetables so went for something different today and it definitely hit the spot. I marked down the service and atmosphere as I was the only person in the restaurant but this would be different on a busy night I'm sure but reviewing it on food alone it's definitely a 5* and I will definitely be coming back again 👌🏻🐔🌶️

Nice food had a biriyani but the sauce was a hard struggle to go between two ended up dry need bigger container same as rice

My family and I have been visiting Paprika for many years; well over a decade. Sometimes we have takeaway and sometimes we eat in the restaurant. The quality of the food is always exceptional, and the service is always warm and friendly. The manager here always takes time to talk to customers and check they are happy with things. If you are looking for good quality, tasty Indian food you have to give this place a try! This is by far the best Indian takeaway / restaurant we know.

Had a meal last night and the restaurant was freezing. People wearing coats whilst eating. Was very uncomfortable to be honest. Food was lovely though. Wouldn’t go there when it’s really cold outside

Not allowed poppadoms until you've ordered your main....boss's policy apparently. Very strange service. Extra star given as food has typically been good in the past

Excellent food, highly recommend the king prawns. Chicken was a bit overcooked last time we went but that was unusual. Prices are mid-range and worth every penny. Service is good but not the best.

Great curry great guys, can't go wrong here

After recommendations from friends we decided to give Paprika a try. We opted for the takeaway service. We ordered online for a 6pm collection. We arrived on time and order was ready. The food was piping hot with generous portions and by far the best Indian curry I've had for a very long time, this will now replace our usual regular indian takeaway and is worth every penny.

I went on shish Kebab and chips. All good.

Really good. The food was delicious. Paprika is an outstanding Indian restaurant. The service was second to none. I will definitely go there again and recommend it to others. Thankyou for an amazing evening.

Waiters were courteous and professional, but manager was rude and dismissive. We were overcharged and recieved a bullish explanation instead of an apology.

The food was delicious,but we had a problem with our wine,we ordered a Merlot Chile from the drink menu,but we received a Merlot from Italy not on the menu that tasted cheap and awful,the staff didn't even bother to tell us about the swap,they just concealed the bottle with a napkin,but when we pointed that out they took that wine away and we chose another wine.No authentic Indian dessert on the menu.

Had an excellent meal yesterday at 12:15 for 3. A rogan, a balti, a special, a nan and onion rings. Only people there as so early but still friendly prompt service.

Gorgeous food. Highly recommended this place. Staff are super nice and welcoming. Food is brought out quickly as well. I love the bubble wall they have. I think it's super cute and I always get distracted by it. The atmosphere is also really nice and makes you comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience as always.

Recommended by a friend as ‘the best takeaway in Bristol’ and it did not disappoint. The food is similar to other restaurants of its kind but Paprika just does everything better. Everything i eat is fantastic and we have been back several times. In covid times i have found the staff to be lovely, the ordering system fantastic, the food made in good time and the whole 1 way system very reassuring and helpful. With restrictions easing we are looking forward to eating inside and getting the full experience. Thanks Paprika.

Service is as any Bangladesh restaurant poor at best 4 tables still slow. Menu more English than whippy. Good but not good enough. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Delicious food and fast - ordered 7.10pm - ready in half an hour! Only reason for not giving 5* is the web-search says they do delivery, and when you order you can register with them including giving details 'so our driver can find you' (description of house, etc) but they DON'T DELIVER - if I hadn't wasted time describing my house for no good reason it would have been 5* for sure!

Used Paprika for the first time and as a takeaway last night. It was excellent tasty Food with reasonable sized portions. Easy ordering on the website to collection. I was impressed on collection for the attention to hygiene, particularly CoVid policy/facility and customer service. We had the Karahi and Rezala and enjoyed it very much. Just on enjoying this one meal very much we've decided to start to make it a regular of ours.

SHOCKINGLY BAD SERVICE!! I visted Paprika and was massively disappointed my husbands main meal was missed they returned quickly when realising their mistake, with a dish which looked like soup, not a curry, we were not asked if we would like another drink, the entire time we were there I asked two different waiters for the bill, it wasn't untill a third waiter passed over 30 mins later we had any service, and recieved the bill I would not recommend this place and will not be returning

A busy Tuesday during the eat out to help out promotion. Booking system used appears not to be efficient as they were over booked. This caused them to rush us through our meal. Main dishes well priced but rice and naan I feel too expensive. Main meal, a rice and a drink for 2 came to £45. Thought that was a bit pricey for what we got. Practically threw us out telling (not asking) us to go so they can use the table. Didn't give us time to eat my mint chocolate and check the bill properly. Could have been because they over charged us by £2!!! I'll be going to blue ginger next time. Much better.

Best Indian takeaway in Bristol

4 of us went here for a meal. It was great 👍 full of flavour and well cooked with quality. The service was brilliant, all the staff were friendly and you did not feel like you were rushed. I would definitely recommend to come here for a meal.
