Good, but part of our order was missing, ie poppadoms.

Not the best takeaway I've ever had the biryani was lacking in taste and any meat I think I found one piece of chicken! Rice was nice

This place has gone massively down hill. The standard of food is awful, staff don't care and it would seem now that even when spending £60+ that you still dont get a single popadom included.

I have been coming here regularly for take out curry for over two years. The staff are young, vibrant and friendly, and share the cooking and front of house between them. The food is very tasty and well made. I’ve never, ever had a problem with an order - it’s usually quite the inverse, as they are really good about adjusting anything in the meal. Bengal Flame, with Madras heat is my go-to dish! Totally delicious!! Really pleased these guys are on our doorstep. Highly recommended.

flavourless. biryani had lack of chicken and curry was watery. korma was flavourless. didn't even get complimentary poppadom. won't use again.

Sadly I’m really disappointed with this takeaway. I don’t know what’s happened as they used to be really nice. My curry was lacking ingredients. The chicken was probably the most horrible chicken I’ve ever had, the consistency is indescribable almost like eating lumps of fat, weird mushy and made me feel sick. Glad they’re using nice chips again. But the curry really wasn’t very good. Such a shame. I shan’t be ordering again. Used to really like this place.

Told to hurry up because they are busy, told to get ton with it when giving payment details. Absolutely disgusting people skills. Last time we order! Definitely gone down hill this past year or more! This has happened twice now.. never again and will be spreading her word. Terrible people.

Very disappointed. Normally always nice but I don't know what happened with our order. Naan was cold. No taste to the lamb bhuna. The bombay aloo had all these green bits all over to which we don't normally have. No taste We won't use again. Delivery was quick.

I’ve read the reviews, good and bad, but I only speak as I find. The food was excellent and delivery in a timely fashion. I’m down here on holiday seeing two friends, and we decided to get a takeaway. Cannot fault the food, quality and taste, and way better than what we get in London, where poor food is an acceptable part of life (except with me). Will definitely order again, that’s for sure.

What an amazing dinner I've just had from Cinnamons. I had Kashmiri : Chicken Tikka with Saffron Pilau and a Keema Nan. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the Kashmiri sauce was absolutely stunning with so many layers of sweet creamy deliciousness. I make no apologies for waxing so lyrically about it because it really was the most tasty meal I've had delivered in a long time. Thank you Cinnamons, compliments to the chefs and the excellent delivery lady. I highly recommend them.

The food is fantastic and the service is excellent with real nice staff.

If you could award a minus * I would. The worst Indian meal i have ever had. I can cook better myself. The battered prawn starter was soggy, more breadcrumb batter than prawn. The Kemma naan was laking in keema and was like rubber to eat, no flavour at all. As for the Tandori chicken biryani, just tiny slithers of chicken with no tandoori flavour. The rice and curry sauce was very watery and again lacking any flavour. Very sad to have to write this about our local curry house but I was so disappointed. £30 and the most flavoursome item was the riata.

Really tasty food that arrived earlier than expected. Would love it if they labelled their vegan options though!

I ordered online, received a confirmation email but when I arrived they had no record of my order. Vaguely claimed they didn't deal with that company any more, despite they were the link on their website. Food eventually arrived and was fine, standard takeaway quality but really unimpressed with the online ordering. David

Poor customer service. Missing curry from our order (pregnant wife). Asked to travel back down for a refund on new years eve. Naan breads disgusting also. Would not recommend. Other people coming in at the same time complaining of missing items.

Dreadful! Very simple order completely missed off one of the key Rice dishes which meant one person did not eat. Requested Naan in Paper bags (so that it does not sweat) but again could not manage that simple request. Not ordering again! When we called to tell them apparently they could not understand.

Ordered delivery, told 1hr 20; so called at 1hr 30 and told they were waiting for a driver - food arrived 1hr 45 and all food cold, lots of condensation in boxes of food so not fresh and probably been sat waiting for their driver for the extra 25 mins, so dry chicken and prawns were soft and soggy and watery, curry arrived as masala not madras and just tasteless and watery… drained water off my plate to eat it… called to complain and they said it was a busy night and showed no interest in our complaint… wasted £47 on the strength of other Tripadvisor ratings being good… this is my experience left me really furious and hungry…

Good quality and fast service. Only criticism is that the egg pilau rice wasn't as fresh as it could have been...still edible though.

We order on a monthly bases. The foods always good . The delivery can be a bit hit or miss but we are 10 miles away.

Nice little indian takeaway in this quaint little town. Only problem is that it is on the main street, therefore not possible to park if you plan to collect the food. There is no space to dine in and its true to it's title of a takeaway. If I speak about the food, it was quite ok...have had better indian food but this was our go to place within the limited options.

We don't get take aways very often. But Cinnamon's is our local go to place. Easy to order online, and ready to collect (or have delivered) in good time. Always friendly, and lovely food. Well priced too for the area. Thank you guys! 🥰

We are on holiday and the curries that we had from Cinnamons were by far the best we had ever tasted. Even my 5 year old loved it and she is very fussy. It was amazing quality and plentiful. We highly recommend them.

Polite staff and efficient ordering system. The food was surprising: robustly cooked cabbage present in the vegetable curry, the Balti have undercooked large chunks of onion in it. The onion Bhaji was 10/10.

First time tried a few weeks ago. Not too impressed. The other Indian in sherborne is far better

I order here. Sometimes in weekend the Delivery Driver arrived after 2 hours, but it's normal for weekend time. this happens in any Town's. I will buy here because the Quality and not for any reason. I appreciate because all the time I receive a extra papadam. So I'm very happy 😊😊😊😊😊 If you receive a extra papadam make a free comment.

In October I used Cinnamons for a meal for 3 people. It arrived over 2 hours later than the 45minute wait advertised. Then when we looked at the delivery Items where missing- I phoned and spoke to Ali whom got the missing items delivered- The meail itself was terrible 2 of the 3 main dishes the Chef Special Northern Indian chicken dish has disgusting. The Chicken Phall was very poor. The side dishes where very poor and the vegatbles tasted very poor. But despite this as I know Ali's brother haivng meet him at Bristol Childrens hospital I thought I would discuss the issues. Very good I thought- as Ali offered 50% off my next meal. However the last one was that bad my wife did not want another one. I ordered the meail today Sunday 6th Dec, it arrived and the price was incorrect and no 50% discount was applied. Then after that the pilau rice was missing. After all my bad experiences enough is enough. This takeaway will never receive an order from me again. Awful food and service. I geniunely have never complained about indian food before as it tends to be of reasonable standard accross the board. AVOID!

Sad to say Cinnamons are terrible. The food, service, time taken to deliver is terrible. I ordered 3 main meals and a couple of sides. 2 of the main meals where very poor. The delivery was 2 hours late. I phoned and spoke to Ali the owner and he said the chef was new and in training. I thought oh dear but he offered me 50% off my next meal. Today on Sunday the 2 Dec I decided to take this up. This time the bill was wrong, no 50% off as agreed. My meal was taken away then after contacting cinnamons the delivery driver reappeared asking for the correct amount. As I peered into the delivery I noticed the pilau rice was missing. Missing items happened on the 1st order as well. Sadly both meal quality, service and ability to deliver the order are shocking. Sadly I will have to get my food from Yeovil as I advise all to avoid the poor shambolic service problems which cinnamons display and the very poor food quality which is down to issues with the chef.

Another lovely hot and very very tasty food wouldnt go anywhere else for an amazing curry wel done cinnamons again xx

First meal from cinnamons last night 3 mains rice and a few sides and the family were very happy indeed will be back definitely 👍

Fast food and cinnamons or two words that should not go together. After initially being told await time of 90 minutes for delivery which was fine yet after 150 minutes of waiting phoned yet again to be told they were waiting for the delivery driver. Decided the only way we were going to get our food that night was to walk down to the shop in the rain and pick our food up. We had three different curries in sauce none of the lids were marked up so no idea which one was which as they all came in an orange slop sauce quite tasteless with a few lumps of chicken thrown in for good measure all three curries tasted exactly the same. Very poor. Good luck cinnamons with your poor service and even poorer food you will not be having any more of my money.

I have to say, one of the best curry’s (phall) we’ve had in a while, the lamb was really good quality and the taste was amazing, even delivered 15 minutes earlier than expected.... highly recommend 😋

The food I ordered was hot and packaged nicely :) It all tasted amazing . Some confusion though to the fried chicken and chips . It came as pieces of chicken in a tub with mushrooms and peas. Not what I was expecting . So didn't eat that, but rest of the food amazing !!

Got a takeaway from here for the first time tonight and we loved it! Thanks Cinnamons! My really fussy ten year old ate tonnes and me and my husband thought the food was beautiful. We will definitely be coming back.

I just went in for a late snack, the guy there was really helpful and the samosas and dip were perfect.

There home delivery service is fast.I would recommend Cinnamons to anyone. It is delious. And addictive. I would have this every evening if I could! ! But I think I would end up 24 stone.

Great little gem of a takeaway, tucked away at the top of Sherborne. Highly recommend them for service and taste.

It's ok. But not as good as it used to be. The portions are smaller & the ingredients are lower quality & the food received does not match the menu = saffron pilau had only fruit. When it should have had nuts as well. Also there is no discount for collected orders like there used to be, making this a now expensive takeaway if you factor in the fuel to collect it & the parking charge if you want your food before 6pm

Really good service. I called them 5 minutes before closing and still was able to get my food done. They added a popadum and veggies which is really nice of them.

This place has changed from the last time I visited. The food used to be much higher quality, and much more fragrant and tasty. Now its a little too similar to supermarket standards

I had the same take away as I always do. Lamb shank with chick peas. It was nice, different to previous, more oily and I prefer how it used to be.

Very little flavour. Under spiced. Expensive. Rather drive to Yeovil and use Mukta.

Decided to try a different taste, and I was most surprised, the amount received lasted 2 days or for 2 people rather than 1, delivered in a good and fair time, a lovely different taste from the norm.

We arrived at our holiday destination on a Sunday at 9 pm with a very hungry family. We ordered some exciting sounding dishes to be delivered. The food arrived promptly and did not disappoint. Beautiful sauces, excellent cuts of meat and enjoyed by the whole family. I would recommend this to everyone as it was one of the best Indian takeaways we have had.

After a long trip we ordered a delivered takeaway for a easy meal. After a hour and a half wait and 3 phone calls it finely arrived. The food was medioca at best my lamb was tough as old boots and not very enjoyable. I would advise getting food elsewhere

The food is always tasty, hot and quality. Delivery free if local over £12, The lamb shank and chick peas are excellent for those who want flavour without heat.

Rang at 5pm new years eve to order a delivery for 7.30pm. In the phone I was told to hurry up as they were busy and had other customers waiting/ringing - not a great start. Then hung up on me without telling me the total cost and before I could even ask to pay by card. I went to the website and figured out the cost from their menu. 7.30 no food arrived. Rang at 7.45 and they said the order had left and would be with us within 15 minutes then promptly hung up. 8.05 we called again. Our food had just been packed and was just leaving the restaurant. We asked for a discount as it was going to be an hour late. Passed over to a colleague who said they were just leaving with our for I'd and would be with us within 15 minutes. Once arrived the bill was more than prices online and we were told the website hadn't been updated. The food was warm, average tasting. Will not be using again purely for lack of service. Totally understand it's new years eve but we ordered 2 and half hours in advance.

Pasanda tasted off, felt like the cream they used was out of date and went bad on two occasions now. Rice was burnt and naan bread cold. Also no longer taking card paymeants on the phone, said they would do it one more time but added £1.50 extra charge to do it which they never did before. Get with the times

Lovely food. not always quick so best to order early, but worth the wait. Could do with more staff so 1 can concentrate on answering the phone and someone else can serve customers that come through the door as at busy times you can often be left waiting a while as phone calls seem to take priority.

It was my first time using this takeaway. We had a lamb rogan Josh and chicken sag. Both curries had no flavour or spice. They were more like bland casseroles. The mushroom rice was so greasy. Had a mixed starter also which was OK.....ish. Best bit was the mint dip with my poppadoms. So disappointed..
