Pappy's in South Lanarkshire

Went here for a quick bite to take away Pizza and Buffalo wings really enjoyed both, staff very friendly and helpful so would definitely return..

The food was good. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger with gherkins and they substituted an extra topping on request in the comment section (mushrooms) instead of a sauce which was cool of them to do. The dips were missing with our mains on arrival and the Hungry House page didn't have an option to select a drink when I opted for my burger to come as a meal with fries and drink for an extra £2, so it arrived without a can/bottle of anything. Not the end of the world, I suppose, as I had cans of juice in the fridge at home. Delivery time was quite quick and the delivery guy pointed out that they had to substitute one of our ice creams because they didn't have the Irn Bru one in that night. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I think I'll phone up next time rather than order online.

Cannot fault the food or service, beautiful meal and lovely people (I believe there is new management so maybe if you had a bad time before try again) So clean, huge dishes and so tasty! and cannot wack the prices - 2 meals with drinks for £30 :) i will be back time and time again I think! Keep it up x

Been to Pappys a few times now and not had a bad meal yet. Staff are friendly and helpful enough. Food is a bit on the pricey side, could also do with an option to have fries with your meal without having to pay £2 for fries and a can. That's pretty much all I can moan about, so all in all I recommend trying Pappys, definitely a change from Chinese, curry, chippy or pizza.

Went to Pappy's based on other peoples reviews on the internet ,Bad Mistake! . Opted for burger with bacon and cheese and full rack of ribs bbq sauce and chips. Cost £17 it was inedible ! Meat on ribs mostly gristle and would not pull off the bone . Chips were skinny fries very greasy. My partner thought the burger was like a 1970's findus steak burger . Bacon was cheap but not terrible . The bun was like a Costco burger bun. Over all quote he's had a better burger off a burger van ! We won't be back . My ribs are in the bin and I'm eating bread and butter ! What a shame Pappy's we had high hopes of lovely American style smokehouse grub .

Milk sachets were dated March 2016, the pulled pork was green and tasted rancid, the ribs and chicken were both bone dry and tasteless! Flies surrounded us and the toilet was a disgrace! The waiter that served us was a nice guy and was well mannered but that was the only good thing about this meal!!! No one in my family will be returning to this restaurant!

Pappys is a good place to eat if you want large portions for your money American style i've been four times already staff are very helpful and friendly everything is freshly cooked I get the barbecue pulled pork beast burger because I like my grub yum yum

We went for dinner as a family of four and was quite disappointed. The pizza was great as was the milkshake but the burgers and hotdogs with chips were a huge let down. The service was friendly enough, but the time we were there, clientele were children and the odd fly here and there. Sorry to say, we will not be dining there again.
