Worst food ever salt n chilly chips rubbish The curry was like a school curry but worse and took about two hours to delivery want my money back

Food arrived, was reheats chicken and ribs dry and chewy, rice cold. Missing sauce and can of juice ordered and paid for no point phoning due to length of time it would take to come. This is not the first time this has happened. Think I will start going elsewhere.

Love the curries from this place. Highly recommended.

Don’t know why the reviews of this place are so hit or miss? We had a meal tonight delivered and really enjoyed it! Delivery was fast, crispy chilli chicken was lovely and so was beef in black bean sauce. Curry sauce had more of a gravy type consistency which i understand might not be for everyone but I really enjoyed it. Definitely will order again.

Were do i start Reheated fried rice all congealed must have been last nights, chips were soggy and cold as for the curry it was as thick as concrete with dodgy tasting chicken , I have made better myself. I won't be back near this dump and would advise you to stay away and go elsewhere.

One of the worst Chinese meals I've had. You would think that ordering a meal late at night the shop must presume your pished and drum up a chicken chow mein which was swimming in gravy, chicken satay with no taste and congealed curry sauce. Salt and chilli chips looked like reheat. Absolutely disgusting.

Just got roast chicken Hong Kong absolutely disgusting chicken was like a brick couldn’t even get a knife through it called shop and was informed it’s supposed to be like that REALLY!! STAY WELL CLEAR SAVE YOUR MONEY

Thought after spending £25 I would have at least been given prawn crackers. I scheduled my food to arrive at a certain time and it came 30 mins early. We had friends coming round so this was not ideal. Curry sauce was vile. I will never use this takeaway again.

Ordered a chicken and beef fried rice for my child and hot sent a beef curry instead.... Owner refused to take meal back or give me my money back and was very cheeky.... PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS CHINESE... alot better around... Everybody else's fault they cadnt get meals ryt WILL NEVER BE BACK AND WILL BE MAKING SURE FAMILY DONT EITHER. Q.. Got a chicken fried rice last night all scraggy chicken pieces n rice absolutely soaked in soy sauce making it so salty i could not eat it are they trying to poison people ? Also got a special curry the sauce was thick and lumpy This place is going downhill fast .i used to be regular customer but that's finished

Absolutely stinking, just ordered a mixed grill from this place disgusting steak tough as anything horrible lumpy red sauce which should be gravy, big massive bag of very overcooked tastless chips. Will never use this place again first and last absolutely awful its in the bin total waste of money.

Waited over 2 hours for our meal. Phoned several times just to enquire about my order just to be told my order was still not out for delivery they dont have any drivers. When order arrived it definately was not worth the wait. Will never use again.

If only it were possible to leave no stars as a rating, as one star seems awfully generous for somewhere that clearly dont care for a reputation. Our order came incomplete with a two pieces missing, we phoned up and were then told we'd have to wait 20-30 minutes for our order to be rectified by someone who had the communication skills and manners of an underdeveloped toddler. Having waited for the rest of our dinner to go cold we eventually received one missing dish from our order which we were lucky enough to receive a little extra add on from the the curry house- that being what we can only hope was human hair. We phoned back, understandably iritated, and were greeted by the same individual who took out first call who seemed more concerned of the colour of the hair in our food than being accountable for trash being served. They requested us to bag up our, what can only be described as slop, to be returned to the restaurant. Now given that we're currently amidst a global pandemic where the uncertainty of individuals where abouts and covid status remain anonymous its slightly disconcerting that a restaurant would want an already plated meal- but who are we, only paying customers to dispute the runnings of take away who clearly couldn't care less about the service and quality of food coming from their "establishment".

Shocking. Order was wrong, then took half an hour to get missing items to us- still missing things when it arrived and the rest was cold. Then two of the dishes had hairs in! Customer service was absolutely shocking. Then attempted to give us a cash refund during a global pandemic! Infuriating. Never going back and I suggest everyone else do the same.

Brilliant chinese takeaway, Salt and Chilli Mini Rolls are quality. Good sized portions and great value for money, 100% recommend and would use again

I ordered here for the first time after my usual chinese was extremely busy. I placed an order through just eat. I waited an hour and 45 minutes despite being given an estimated wait time of 55 minutes. I did phone to ask where my order was to which the response was that all the orders were out the door including mine. I had to wait a further 25 minutes until my food arrived. I gave them the benefit of doubt once it arrived as it was clearly a busy night for the takeaways however once it arrived, the food was cold, the rice was burnt (🤷🏼) and the chicken balls were so overcooked they were almost black. I will never order from here again - quite simply I will never be disloyal to my usual chinese.

I have used this chinese for years and the food has always been an excellent quality but recently it has fell off a cliff. I am not sure if the place is under new managment last time I ordered the rice was a bit hit or miss so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Tonight I ordered beef curry it was bland with no taste the fried rice was even worse than last time and it was bland with no taste the salt and chilli chips were soggy with barely any taste to them. Unfortunately I can confidentially say I won't be ordering from this Chinese place again as the food is not upto standard anymore.

Been using The Curry House for many years now and even though it can be up and down at times I'll now never be back. Ordered a meal last night through Just Eat, ate half of it, when back for the rest and that's when I found a dead meal worm in my chicken fried rice.

Dont know how anyone can rate highly on this chinese instead of the 4* rating it has it should be -4 we got 2 special curries 2 fried rice chicken satay fried rice and prawn crackers the only good thing was the crackers the curries were just horrible thick gravy packed with curry powder so much they had powdery taste also very salty the prawns were grey as was the chicken the beef was extra chewy definitely the worst chinese food we have ever tried, these sort of takeawys give chinese a bad name nothing but discoloured meats and salty gunge for sauces, safe to say we will never use the Curry House again and would advice others against it aswell, DISGUSTING!!!!

Been a customer of the Curry House forever, however waited over two hours for a delivery on Saturday night... no discount or apology 👎🏼

Absolute disgrace of a place, found a hair in our dinner and phoned them to let them know and they gave my partner a mouth full of cheek and sent there delivery driver up to see the hair! This is the second problem ive had with them, about a year ago i ordered chips, cheese and curry sauce and they put cheese slices in for my cheese and when i phoned them i received another mouth full of cheek and they refused to replace it, i will never order another meal from here again and i advise anybody else to stay clear from here

Fabulous food. Easily the best Chinese takeaway in East Kilbride.

Vile chips,cooked to death,stopped in the village for chicken balls, S&S sauce n chips. The batter was very doughy,chips inedible, first and last time ,won't be back!

Food is excellent one of the best in East Kilbride however the service is lacking. Normally after answering you are put on hold whilst they speak in the background and delivery can be quite long but worth it as the food is very good.
